Setup more than one ethernet interface

Hi,
On a 10.5.2 server, I have 4 ethernet ports, 2 on Lan and 2 on Wan with public IP.
What I am suposed to do first :
1- Setup 1 lan interface, DNS, others interfaces an d thne services
2- Setup 4 interfces, Dns, Services
3- Other
Services planned on that Xserve : DNS, OD, Ical, VPN, MAil, Web.

What ethernet interface is suposed to be the "primary" ?
One of the lan, or one of the wan ?
Can it be changed later, changing the order by drag and drop ?, need to use changeip ?

EJB3 - More than one remote interface for Session Bean?

Hi,
Is it possible in EJB3 to have more than one remote interface for a SessionBean?
I have seen it posetd on here that it is possible but never been able to find any other information.
Using JBoss as my App Server, I have deployed an App, where a SessionBean is defined as implementing 2 interfaces, both of which are annotated using @remote.
However when I examine the JBoss JMX Console, Global JNDI Namespace only one remote interface is listed, and indeed it is the first one defined in the SessionBean.
Considering I use a String similar to (MyApp/MyBean/remote) to do the JNDI lookup, this would indicate that it is not possible to have more than one remote interface.
1. Is this a JBoss specific limitation?
2. Is there another way of performing the JNDI lookup?

Thanks for prompt response! I tried the suggestion in my application, and the output from JBoss JMX Console was
+- XXXBean (class: org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext)
| | +- remote (proxy: $Proxy291 implements No ClassLoaders found for: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.Remote1 (no security manager: RMI class loader disabled))Again only displaying the remote interface that is first in the @remote ({ Remote1.class , Remote2.class}) list. This would lead me to believe that JBoss does not support this.
Can anyone confirm this?

How to setup more than one repository

Is there a way to setup more than one repository ?
I've installed BI EE Plus for Linux and it should be used by two different BI teams starting from next month.
Since today one BI team develop their own repository (under windows) and give it to me; then I usually copy that rpd file under $ORACLE_BI_HOME/server/Repository directory.
Next month I will receive two repository files... but I don't know how to show the correct one to the appropriate team or at least let them select their own.
Moreover I didn't find a post where someone create a script to accomplish this requirement or something like this...
Could you help me, please ?

Can i record with more than one audio interface

I need to record 16 tracks, I have two different audio iterface, in GarageBand i can only find one of them, if i go to prefrenses-audio, I can set any of them as my audio interface, but only one at the time.
Any tips to how I can use bouth simultanious? Cubase, Logic mabye, GarageBand no can do? :-)

Using more than one Ethernet port

So I just brought myself another pair of TP link wifi adapters as I already had some, but the ones I had only had 1 port and these have 3. So I set it all up and try to use 2 ethernet ports as I want to use my xbox one and Laptop through these adapters. So when i set it up and pluged the ethernet cables into the router the broadband light on the hub goes orange and the broadband is lost unitl i take out one of the ethernet cables and reset the hub it works fine with just one.
I just really want to know why i cant have more than one ethernet cable plugged into the hub.

You can only connect one broadband extender to the home hub. This must be designated as the Access Point. All the rest need to be slaved to that Access Point. These need to be individually "paired" to the AP one connected to the home hub.
You can still use the other ports on the home hub for direct Ethernet connections.
If you try and connect more than one extender to a home hub Ethernet port, you will create a loopback, which will crash the home hub.

I'm not totaly sure if I understand your issue, but it sounds like you want to use the same spry widget with different settings on the same page? Is that correct?
I dont use spry tooltips, however, what would see to work would be if you configure the second spry tool tip, perhaps in a seperate page, rename the new or second set of js and css files to read

SSL certificates and more than one hostname / interface

Hi,
I'm trying to configure the directory proxy server of DSEE7 to listen at 636 (SSL) at 2 different interfaces. As both of them got different hostnames, I get a certificate error for one of them because the name does not match the one of the certificate. Is there a way to configure the proxy server with different certs for different interfaces / hostnames?

Hi,
Did you tried SAN certificates (also known as Unified Communication Certificates by Public CA like DigiCert, Entrust etc..) ?
SAN stands for Subject Alternate Names - this allows more than one hostname to be binded to a single certificate for such multihosting setup. I think you should try using a self-signed SAN certificate before purchasing a SAN certificate from External Public CA (if you rely on External Public CA). If you have Private CA then I think there should be much cost impact for you.

I use 2 different language for my contact list and 3 different language for my music.
Is there a way to setup up for it to recognize more than one language?

It can only recognize one language at a time. For how to change it, see p. 46 of the User Guide.

BPM with more than one incoming interface.

Hi experts.
My scenario is File --> BPM --> SOAP
The BPM is:    Fork Step               - Necessary branches is set to one.
                                                               First branch - Async recieve step for Msg1 Interface. Start process is checked.
                                                               Second branch - Async recieve step for Msg2 Interface. Start process is checked.
                        Transformation step - Which maps the recieved msg to another interface.
                        Async Send step    - Which sends the message to the receiver.
There are a few more steps in the bpm before the send step but they are not relevant.
The goal of the bpm is to recieve one of the 2 messages and perform the needed actions on it.
I took the idea from the SAP BASIS template of the "BPMpattermColectMultiIf" bpm,
and changed to the number of necessary branches to 1.
My problem is that the process runs fine only for the first msg.
When Msg2 is being set to the bpm a SYS EROR ocuurs in the inbound side of the bpm "BPM parameter error".
I have made a few checks and figured that if the Property of "Start process" is not set on both recieve steps the error doesn't ocurr.

As far as i understand, you have set on two branches for receiver "Start Process" ??
Yes you are wright.
Both recieve steps can starts the process.
But in case the property "start Process" of the first MSG recieve step is unchecked,
the second msg is recieved just fine.
And in case both recieve steps may start the process only the first msg could be recieved.

Can I setup more than one @me account to use push on my iPhone

I have 3 @me accounts setup on my iPhone. It appeares that only 1 can be set to Push, the other 2 can only be set to Fetch. Is this correct? I have the same problem on my iPad. Both are using iOS4 and are uptodate with all software.

Setup more than one policy in one day using Access Restriction

Anyone can tell me how to set up two policys in one day using Access Restriction ?
For example:
For Weekdays, before 6pm, no restriction to use internet. after 6pm, internet ok, but certain web site or ports need to be blocked.
I can set up policy for after 6pm but then before 6pm, the router consider no-internet access period.
Any advise ?

what you just need to do is to set the policy to allow from 6PM upto the time you wanted your router to give internet access... and just set the status to enable.. type in the LAN mac adress of your router in the edit PC list, then save the settings

Setup more than one email account in Entourage

Does anyone know how I can set up a second email account with Entourage? Right now I have my main email set up as the default POP account but I recently have a new work email address that I would also like to use Entourage for.
What I would like for it to be able to do, and maybe this just isn't an option but I hope it is...I want both email accounts to viewable without having to switch identities. So if my main email account is [email protected], I still want to be able to see right away when I receive mail at the [email protected]
Does this make any sense?
I just don't want to have to switch identities in order to see if I have new email at my work email address. Can I somehow do this?

You can access multiple email accounts with Entourage under the same identity with both accounts viewable, etc. as you can with most if not all other email clients such as Entourage.
But you can have only one default email account which is only applicable with selecting new to compose a new message. You can easily switch to a different account for sending purposes when composing a message or before sending a message via an account pop-up menu selection for the message.

1. Reset Open Firmware. As you turn on the machine, press & hold CmdOption+OF until you get a screen that says "Welcome to Open Firmware". At the prompt, enter "reset-nvram" (without the quotes). Press return. Enter "reset-all". Press return and the machine will restart.
2. Open network preferences. In airport, go to advanced. Check the box that says disconnect the wireless network when logging out. (It seems incredible that it would work, but apparently it sometimes does.)

4. Go into your keychain and find the password key for your network. If you connect to a WAP it will be the name of that WAP. Then in the key click on the access control tab. It probably shows selected applications. Change this to "Allow all applications to access this item".
5. (The following apparently works temporarily, but it is not very clean. I would not recommend it except as a last resort.) Remove all the files and folders from the non-user Library/Preferences folder and reboot.

Wireless AP that will allow more than one security setup

I have a customer that is looking to install a new AP and have
it accessible by their employee's and visitors. So is there an AP out there that will allow you to setup more than one SSID and have one of the SSID's with access to the local network/internet and the other SSID set to have only access to the Internet??

We used the 1131 AP. We set up 2 different WLAN's.
Business WLAN = 172.16.x.y with WPA security
Guest WLAN = 192.168.x.y with WEP security
The AP was connected to a 3560 switch on a trunk port. So the Guest WLAN is in a different VLAN and access was controlled through an ACL. Guest can only access the Internet.
I'm sure some of the other Cisco AP's wil do the same thing.
