Setup table error

Hello BW Experts,
scenario:
In the process of activating a lo extractor which was used a long back. i have deleted the setup tables and activated the extract structure. i start the filling of setup tables, get this error:
error
'Extraction structure not active or no BW Connected' message M2630
Please suggest.

LO Filling setup table error

Hello ppl,
I am doing INIT loads for PM module, I activated all the extract structures (2LIS_17_*) in LBWE and deleted setuptables in LBWG. Now I am trying to fill the setuptables by going to
SBIW. It gives the error "No extraction structure for event10:Messages active".
on screen OLIIBW: Notifications(Event 10) and Orders (Event 13) are selected.
please give your suggestions to fix this error.

Thanks for the note guys. I had a different problem altogether, we are maintaining two instances of R/3, one is for change/config and other is for testing. I activated all the datasources in change/config instance but not for testing instance which is the source system for BW.(I need to copy transport requests from change/config to testing (tcode: scc1).This solved my problem.

Error while filling setup table

Hello all
I am trying to fill a setup table for 2lis_11_vahdr DS. I deleted setup table firts using LBWG and then proceeded the setup process by using OLI7BW , while i did that i got an error message "Error determing rate:foreign curr.DEM local curr.EUR date 02.01.1997(doc 4969)"
could anyone tell me what this error is referring to ?

I also think this is a problem of Exchange rate only..............maintain the exchange rate in SPRO >> General Settings >> Enter Exchange Rates.(Tcode : OB08 )
Exchange rate table is TCURR.
Exchange rates are maintained in r/3 and transfer to bw.................rsa1>>source system>>r/3 source system>>right click Transfer...........

any body tell me the meaning of this and how to rectify it.

You are getting this error because Currency Exchange Rate is not being loaded to your system for INR. Ask FI team to maintain this.

Hi Experts,
I tried to fill the setup tables using the transaction code SBIW. But there I found an error saying that
"Error determining rate: foreign curr. local curr. EUR date 25.07.2007 (doc. 2497)
Message no. M2810".
Please help me in this..

   while loading the setup table for PO , I am getting the below error.

Hi,
this issue can be resolved in two ways.
1. Check ur RFC connections in both BW system n R/3 System.Goto sm59 in both r/3 n in bw..select the logical system(i.e..ur source system) test the connection...if the connection is ok..then goto RSA5,activate the data source and do the same in LBWE as well..
2. if the connection is not ok..check ur logical sys..in Transaction SALE...there is a possible of changing ur logica ystem too...kindly check it out..

By mistake my Delta queue for SD Deliveries (2LIS_12_). NOw as a solution we are filling in the setup tables again.
But the request for filling up the tables cancelled giving the error "Document number does not exist".
I donot know, how to solve this? Plz help me ,....Its really really urgent.

Hello Nithya,
It seems the No of tolerated faulty documents that you have given is 0. So when you initialize try to these.
While executing OLI*BW including a value in the maintain "No. tolerated faulty documents" - 5000 or 10000.
Then execute the program in background.
Once the job is completed check the background job log if any errors.

Dear Team,
We are getting following error while filling setup table for Sales (application component 11) and for Billing (application component 13),

I have seen lot of threads based on this but all r showing diffrenent currency to INR but for the above mentioned documents currency is in INR only so why it is showing the error I am not able to determine.
If anybody faced this problem kindly reply to this.

Hi There,
Might be your using a wrong document number.
I mean if your using the 11 you should use only Sales document number and for 13 you should only use billing document number.
If you use vice versa that error will throw.

Can you try filling the setup table data for that range in background?
Sometimes because of huge data that you are trying to fill it might through you a dump. So please execute it in background and see if it works?.
But still can't really say what that dump tells from what you attached.

Error while filling SD setup tables due to currency rate

Hello,
I'm trying to fill setup tables for Orders using Tcode OLI7BW
Below is the error message I get,
"Error determining rate: foreign curr. local curr. EUR date 21.03.2008 (doc. 3000000)"
The document does have the statistics currency(VBAK-STWAE) value which is causing the conversion to fail.What customization is required to set the statistics currency?

The exchange rates are maintained.I have already checked the table TCURR.
I checked in the debugging where the error is occuring and it is during the conversion of the local currency into statistics currency.Since the statistics currency is blank for the document the conversion FM is returning the error.

Error while filling PM setup tables

Hi All, I activated the PM datasource(2LIS_17_I3HDR) in LBWE and then deleted the setup tables for PM in LBWG and then replicated the datasources in BW. When I try to fill setup tables for PM(OLIIBW) then I get error:
No extract structure for event I0: Messages active
Message no. MCEX 106
Diagnosis :You called the setup for the extractor structures of application '17' (Plant Maintenance). However no extractor structure is active for event I0 (messgaes).
I checked LBWE and the datasource (2LIS_17_I3HDR) is active. I check the OSS note 914268, I am hesistant to apply this note as due to heavy customizations at my company there has been issue while applying support packs, is there a work around? Kindly advice.
**we are on PI is 2004_1_46C and the support package is 5.

Hi Meiy,
First check is your R/3 system connected to a BW system?
Second, goto tcode LBWE and check if the extract structures under the application area (purchasing, inventory) that you are setting up data for is active. If not, then set it to active.
This should solve the problem.

Dump error while filling the Setup table

I am trying to fill the setup table.While filling the stup table for 2lis_03_BF datasource, i got the Dump error after some time. I have checked the data in Setup table and found 9000 records.
Shall i proceed further by pulling the data from R/3 to BW.I have checked the data in RSA3 and got some data.
Shall i schedule the data from BW side.
Pls help on this issue.
