Setup time not seen for Planned Orders/ Man Orders in GPB

Hi all,
I'm facing an issue where I'm unable to see the Setup activity(green bar) in the Graphical Planning Board for Planned Orders and Manufacturing Orders.
At first I thought this was only happening for Planned Orders in Released status. However this behavior seems to be erratic with some orders on the same Product showing Setup whereas others are not.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I am assuming you are using setup matrix .
In case of setup matrix system will take setup time from setup matrix.
If two planned order are created for the same product, system will consider the setup time for the first. For the second it will not show setup time (becasue most probably you have maintained product x to product x - o times).

    Check the series group which your giving in J1iex.. Has it been assign to to Excise registration of Plant. And you have given us the Message number and application area. If it is a customized message then you need debug with Abaper.

  • Error: Common entries are not permitted for plan queries and input queries

    Hi,
    I have a 2 selections in the column struct:
    1. year = 2005, version = actual
    2. year = 2006, version = plan, marked as data can be changed using user entry or planning function
    row has posting periods from 1-12
    in the workbook I have inserted this query in the workbook in analysis grid. it runs good.
    now i added a button and assigned planning function to it. this planning function copies 2005, actuals to 2006, plan.
    when i execute the workbook and hit this button, it gives me following error:
    "Common entries are not permitted for plan queries and input queries"
    please can anyone provide me assistance with this issue.

    InfoProvider ZIP_PLAN2 must be described in this application by both a plan query and by a input-ready query, which is directly defined on the InfoProvider ZIP_PLAN2.

  • Windows 8 setup does not prompt for license key, then fails, on hp envy notebook

    I am trying to install Windows 8 pro on an hp envy dv7 notebook, that came with a Windows 8 home pre-installed.
    I tried by running the setup from the CD inserted while Windows was running, but setup complained that no license key matched the CD and faled. Strange enough,
    setup did not prompt for any license key!
    I tried the setup on another, older PC, there it did prompt for license key and setup ended well. At least it was not the CD.
    Then I retried booting from setup CD, it loaded files, then started the setup without promptiing for any license key, and failed again.
    Then I tried with a Windows 7 CD, same behavior, not prompting for license key and fail to setup.
    Then I "repaired" Windows by booting from CD and reformatting the hard drive, dropping all Windows partitions, then restart setup from CD, but it still behaved the same way: not prompting for license key, and failing to setup.
    I called the HP support, and they answered that it was a problem for Microsoft (what a good support, the only place where the problem occurs is the hp computer, but let the Customer call Microsoft instead).
    So here I am, did any of you use an hp computer, and succeeded in installing Windows 8 PRO NFR from Technet plus on it?

    Is it a Chinese Editon preinstalled in HP notebook?
    Windows 8 preinstall machine includes a license key in system firmware. So Windows 8 setup will use this key rather than pop up product key input text pop. It is a Microsoft by design issue. So no good mathod to workaround this problem.

  • For requirement strategy 30 forecast not seen in planning book

    Hi Experts,
    I am using planning strategy 50 in ECC and same has been transfered to APO as 30. Just to test scenario I have entered manually forecast in product view and created sales order in ECC which is CIFed to APO. Now as per SAP guide, scenario works fine in product view, where sales orders consumes forecast and shows remaining forcast after consumption.
    But the remaining forecast and sales order is not seen in SNP planning book. Any suggestions?

    I have a basic question ? Strategy group  50 in ECC  comes to APO as Requirement Strategy 30 ..
    But it is a Make to Order strategy .
    Do you think that it is logical to plan /Forecast a make to order product?
    You can enter a forecast in product view , system will not stop you.
    If you click on the item it will show as make to order planning segment.
    So, I dont think that you can forecast .
    whatever you see the product view cannot be seen in the planning book.

    hello,
    first check the operations of the order.
    right click on the produce operation and navigate to Order Processing.
    In the order tree open all nodes for operations.
    Is the set up activity visible there?
    If yes doble click on the activity.
    does the set up activity have a duration?
    If yes check the status of the set up activity.
    go back to the planning board.
    in the menue select extras-> Legend
    a pop-up with the graphical objects is displayed.
    Check the graphic objects for the activity status you read before.
    did you change the customizing settings for the graphic object?
    If yes check them again or reset them to the default SAP settings.
    I had a similar problem with a set up activity when I wanted to change the color of the activity according to the set up group. I  changed the settings in the customizing Maintain Planning Board Profiles.
    It is very difficult to maintain the decision table for graphical objects.
    If you did this recheck the decision table.
    Go back to the SAP default settings and check the planning board again.
    Are the set up acitvities displayed now?
    Then the porblem is with the decision table.
    rethink every step again.

  • PO Release Strategy not triggerred for particular Total Net Order Value

    Dear,
    I am currently facing the issue where release strategy for purchase orders is not getting triggered for a particular value or lower.
    For order value 1 INR or less, no release strategy is triggered for new created PO. And for value > 1 INR release strategy is getting triggered.
    All otehr PO characterstics are the same, I mean to say the values for other characterstics such as plant material group are identical.
    But the characterstics for release for Total net order value are <= 30000 INR. There are two system copies, where in one system the same release strategy is working as expected. But in other system the above mentioned issue occurs. There is no differnce which I can see in the release strategy setup.
    Please suggest for solution.

    Dear All,
    While looking further into the issue by going into debugging mode, we have found that in include LCLSCF2I, Internal table p_selection_criteria_tab , the value for ATFLV (Internal Floating point from) gets different values in the two systems. For example, in the affected system, for PO with 1INR tottal value, for one of the Total value chaaracterstics before INR characterstic, ATFLV value is 0,0000000000000000E+00, hence it gets out of loop and doesn't trigger release strategy.
    But in another system for same PO values and release setup, ATFLV value is 1,0000000000000000E+00 for that characterstic.
    May I know how the value for this field gets calculated.

    Please go thru the below Release Procedure and check whether you have maintained all the settings properly.
    PO RELEASE STRATEGY
    The release code is a two-character ID allowing a person to release (clear, or approve) a requisition or an external purchasing document. The release codes is basically controlled via a system of authorizations (authorization object M_EINK_FRG).
    Use SE12, structure CEKKO to check all the fields available for controlling the Purchase Order.
    e.g. If the total value for the Purchase Order exceeds 10,000, release strategy 01 is assigned to the Purchase Order. There is only one characteristic created in this example. For controlling the Purchase Order type, create characteristic for CEKKO-BSTYP and the value NB.
    CT04 - Create Characteristic e.g. NETVALUE
    Click Additional data Table name CEKKO Field name GNETW and press enter
    (for currency dependent field, you are prompt to enter the currency which the system then converts the currency of the Purchasing document into this currency)
    In the Basic data (X refers to tick),
    X Mutliple values
    X Interval values
    In the Value data, in the Char. value column, type >10000 and press enter
    Save your data
    CL02 - Class
    Class - Create REL_PUR
    Class type - 032
    Click Create

    Once the Purchase Order is not release, buyers will not be able to print the Purchase Order.
    Goods Receipts will be shown with Message no. ME 390 - Purchasing document XXXXXXX not yet released.
    In 4.6c, Purchase Order with Release Strategy have a tabs at the end of the Header. This allowed the buyers to check the release status of the Purchase Order.
    The person with the release authorization have to use ME28 to release the Purchase Order.

  • Inspection lot creation not required for intercompany Stock transfer order

    Hi Team,
    The client  does not want system to create inspection lots for inter comapny STO. But for intra STO system does not create the inspection lot and thye are happy with it.
    I have have flagged the indicator "QM not active' for the movement type
    101 entry as below at transaction code OMJJ.
    101  B(goods movement for Purchase Order) X(Stock Transport Order)
    Even after flagging the above indicator, system is still creating the inspection lot at the time of GR for InterCC STO.
    Are you aware any other place to control inspection lot creation for Inter company STO.

    The ispection types assigned to the material are given below.
    Z05 Goods Return Inspection(copy of 05)
    Z09 Shelf life extension Inspection(copy of 09)
    Z89 Inspection for Quality Assurance(copy of 89)
    Z90 Goods Receipt  for Trading goods( It is a copy of 01 inspection type)
    There is no inspection type 08 active in the material .

  • SETUP tables not filling for 2LIS_02_ITM

    Hello all,
    I am trying to run the SETUP process from OLI3BW for few Purchasing doc's
    But I do not see any entries  in the setup table 'MC02M_0ITMSETUP' after the SETUP run.
    and Yes,I have DELETED setup tables data prior to running the Setup process.
    I did make sure DS,Extract structure are active and also 2LIS_02_ITM is active in RSA7 .
    I could not find any Info on this kind of issue in SDN.
    Any help is much appreciated !

    Yes, I did check RSA3,RSA6 and LBWE .
    LBWE has active DS for Item/Hdr/Scl(with Green light) and RSA6 has active DS's
    But RSA3 has 0 records since SETUP process itself did not run and no data in SETUP table to pull from RSA3.
    I schedule the job in the back ground and seems the job runtime was too short with no proper log.
    Here are the messages from the Job log.

  • Idoc not created for a particular sales order

    Hi,
        For a particular sales order , idoc is not created .
    The idoc has to be generated when we create a sales order ,
    but for a particular sales order , the idoc is not generated when the sales order is created. The program is assigned in
    nace for output type zd00.  
    RSNASTED is the program which triggers the idoc and FM: IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
    How to debug and see why the idoc is not generated,
    i had kept break point in idoc_output_ordrsp function module
    and program rsnasted, but my control does not
    reaches this point.
    can anyone help me in this issue.

    Could you please check if the output is processed or not, whether in the output type what all conditions you have maintained e.g send immediately.

  • Stock transfter Sch. Agreement  not taken for Planning

    Dear Experts
    My scenario is like this,
    I have two plants A and B. I will be creating Stock transfer Purchase order at B and the material will be sent from A to B thro' STO process.
    When i create Stock Transfer Purchase order thro' ME21N at B,
    I am able to see the requirement in MD04 at plant A.
    But when I create a Stock Transport Scheduling agreement by ME37.
    I am not able to see that in my Stock requirements list and it is not taken for MRP run also.
    My requirement is when i create a stock transport sch. agreement, the system should show it in MD04 at Plant A and it should be included in the MRP.
    Please tell me what settings need to be done.

    Also check your scheduling agreement is released document.
    Did you maintain the MRP data in the material master for this mateiral and special procurement key needs to be maintained for this mateiral in MRP 2 view (from plant)?
    Normal process from One Plant to Aonther Plant
    1 Go to ME31 enter the supplying Plant and other details
    .2 In the next scree enter material ,qty and save
    STO no is created
    3. Use MB1B enter the movement type : 351 and enter all the details and save. Send the material to the other plant with documents
    4. Receive the material in the othe plant in Mov 101
    5. use MB5T to see the material -STOCK in transit

  • Integrated Planning - Navigation attribute not shown for Planned figures

    Hello,
    I have created a Input ready query to get the actual figures from previous years and enabling users to enter the planned figures. I have created Planning functions to copy and revaluate.

    US         124200     $5000         $6000
    I have one more report where it shows the Actual & Plan comparision.
    In the Actual & Plan comparision report I have an additional Navigational attribute SIC code to be shown  for each account.
    My Actual & Plan comparision report should ideally be seen like below.
    Reg   Account    SIC  Actual         Planned  
    US         123000      3026         $3000         $4000
    US         124200      4325         $5000         $6000
    But it is showing as below where it has # for Planned figures and it shows blank.

    I figured it out. I didnt assign the navigation attribute to the plan cube in the multiprovider. Thanks!!

  • Q: How can setup the approval hierarchy for Plan in ASCP

    We are implementing the ASCP. Our customer has a specific requirement about the approval hierarchy of the plan before the plan released. Can we setup the approval hierarchy for the plan in ASCP before releasing it like PO approval hierarchy.

    There is nothing out of the box to do this.
    You have some customization options. It will be a little complex.
    1) Write a db trigger to change the status from approved to incomplete when records are inserted into the req import table
    2) Oracle provides a package which is a hook into the release process. The exact name of the package escapes me but it is something like msc_release_hook.
    This package is called after ASCP puts the data in the req. table but before the req import process is launched. Add code here that changes the status to incomplete.
