Setup Wizard all mucked up: Can't activate phone.

Just got my phone today and did the following:
(memory and sim were pre installed)
1) installed battery.
2) Plugged into wall outlet to charge.
3) Turned on phone for first time --> setup wizard started up automatically (as expected)
4) Selected Language (English)
5) At this point I decided to disconnect usb cord from wall outlet and move to computer's usb (since it's closer)
6) new USB device detected on computer (asks if I want to install drivers).
    a) I say yes.
    b) It can't find appropriate drivers, so I say screw it, and I plug back into wall so I can finish activating phone.
7) now my phone gives me the following message and won't let me do anything else:
Setup Wizard
Phone Activation
There is a problem with activating your phone. Please restart and try again, or contact customer service.
                     [  Emergency Call (911)  ]                                                    [  Restart Phone  ]
Any ideas on how I can start this process all over again? I've already removed battery, memory, and sim card from phone and then put them back in to see if that would help but it didn't seem to do anything.

Nevermind. The issue was that I hadn't Activated the 4G LTE SIM card yet.  I was refering to the "Master Your Device" booklet included in the packaging and it never mentioned this step. After filing through all the contents that were included in the package I recieved from Verizon I finally came accross the sheet that instructs you to "Activate your 4G LTE SIM card." (single sheet with Red border inside the Getting Started pamphlet)    
TL;DR - Needed to call 1.877.807.4646 to activate SIM card.

    I got an HTC Incredible last night (after 2.5 weeks of waiting for it, i might add) and after charging it, I tried to activate it, but was told I needed to ented my billing account passcode before it could complete the activation process.  I do not recall ever making one, nor does my mom (the primary line/account holder).  Any help on what this number may be, how i can find out what it is or how to change it would be appreciated. I'm REALLY anxious to activate this phone, haha.

    Your Mom, the primary account holder/owner, would be the one with the billing passcode - last 4 of SSN?  It's a 4 digit passcode, used to verify the account before making changes or releasing financial information.  If they won't let you activate it, get your Mom on the phone as the account owner to verify by other means to get it activated.....

    You can visit an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store and ask them to do that for you. Your device is still under warranty and they'll be happy to help you.

Had tracfone cs rep on my landline phone and was waiting for verizon rep on the moto g. Waited 20 minutes but verizon rep never answered.
    How and where do I get help from verizon to deactivate the account and release my meid number. Also how do I bypass the setup wizard so that I can activate my phone on TRACFONE?  Thank you.

    There's no other way to track it other than Find My iPhone.  All you can do is wait to see if it ever goes back online.  The serial number will only help to identify it as yours if it is ever found, and the IMEI number would only allow your carrier to blacklist the phone so it couldn't be reactivated on their network, if the carrier offers this service.

    probably you are irritated of the indication in trial version 7.01
    in menu: System->Status... Unicode-system: no.
    Actually all SAP reports in trial version are UC checked and
    all your own reports which you develop in trial version are
    automatically UC checked. (Goto -> Attributes: UC check active).

  • Wireless setup wizard on hp 7410 all in one doesn't give promt for next step in setting up wireless

    The printer is connected to a computer (windows xp) through usb I want to enable the wirless for my laptop (windows 7). I ran the wireless setup wizard and it says searching for available networks then goes back to the home screen. I ran the network utility and the printer doesn't show up but the printer is shown under devices and printers when I click start. The wirless router is a D-Link dir-815 wireless N dual band router. it is 802.11g and a compliant.

    Uh, this is a wireless printer, so let's set it up that way:  
    - Disconnect the USB cable to the printer.
    - in Start > All Programs > Hewlett-Packard> [your printer model] > Add a Device.
    - Choose to add a Wireless or Network device.
    - At one point in the installation it will ask you to TEMPORARILY connect a USB cable.  Do so only after it asks.
    - Remove the USB cable when it asks.
    Now that the printer is wirelessly connected to your network you can do the same procedure with other computers on the network, only you will NOT use the USB cable to communicate network settings to the printer - that has already been done with the first computer.

  • I'm having trouble installing Firefox version 6.0.1 The setup wizard is telling me to close Firefox before it can go any further after I've chosen the standard setup. I closed Firefox and clicked the NEXT button again and it tells me the same thing.

    I've already tried re-downloading the setup wizard for Firefox 6.0.1 again and re-running it, but I still have the same problem as before.

        Launch RealPlayer
        Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper-left corner of the window, and choose Preferences
        Choose Download & Recording from the left-hand menu
        Uncheck "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browser"
        Click OK

I choose "YES" and the computer reboots, but when I run the setup wizard again, it says the same thing. I have reinstalled it 8 times, and it says the same thing......I have searched my computer for it, and can't find what it's talking about!! HELP!!!!!!

    Hi there cocoonl,
    To reset the mediahub, you may simply need to press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds. After doing the reset, it will set the default password to "admin". If you lost the CD that came along the mediahub, you may download the .ISO file from the website (http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/NMH405) then select "download". You may need to mount it or burn it to a CD to make use of it.

    Hi, I'm having issues with my Linksys Wireless-G model WRT54GS with Speedbooster. The CD-Rom is faulty so I downloaded the driver via linksys.com, but when I enter the Setup Wizard it can not pass through the part where it checks for a working internet connection. It freezes at 99% and stays that way for hours.

    hi, i'm facing the same problem here also, after the 8th step, it restarts the settings checking and after like 5 minutes it says "could not connect to modem ensure that that wired and connect" and to let you know. i returned the product to the dealer and exchanged it. i thought maybe its broken or something. and i also tried this with three pcs. and i even bought new wires. i contact the dealer again, he advised me to buy another brand, he heard alot about this problem and he couldnt solve it. nice!
