To start configuring an Internet Access Policy, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your favorite web browser application, and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1 in the address field. Then press Enter.
Step 2: In the authentication dialog box, enter the administrator’s username and password. The default values are admin/admin for the username/password. However, on some Linksys router platforms, the default value for the username is the blank and for the password is admin.
Step 3: Open the Access Restriction tab.
Step 4: Select the policy number in the Internet Access Policy drop-down list.
Step 5: Click Enable in order to activate the policy, or Disable if you want to disable it.
Step 6: Enter a Name for your Internet access policy in the appropriate text box.
Step 7: Click Edit List of PCs in order to open the Internet Access PC List window, and then enter the MAC addresses, or IP addresses of the PCs concerned by the current policy. If the current Internet Access policy affects a group of PC having contiguous IP addresses, then you can enter the first and last IP addresses in the Enter the IP Range of the PCs area. Once you finish your changes, click Save Settings in order to save you configuration.
Step 8: In the Access Restriction section, click Deny in order block Internet access during selected days and hours. Otherwise, click Allow.
Step 9: In the Schedule section:
• Under the Days area, select everyday if you want the policy to active all days. Otherwise, select the appropriate check boxes in order to specify individual days.
• Select 24 hours under the Times area, in order to make the policy active all the day. Otherwise, select the starting time the ending time during which the policy will be in effect.
Step 10: In the Website Blocking by URL Address area, enter the URLs of the websites you want to block.
Step 11: In the Website Blocking by Keyword area, enter the keywords you want to block web pages including at least one of them in their URLs.
Step 12: In the Blocked Services area, add the services you want to block. For example, you can block email access, files downloading, VPN access and other services. Additionally, you can also edit existing services or add new services.
Step 13: Click Save Settings.
The following video will show the exact steps to configure an Internet access Policy and apply it to a set of computers. Note that it does not matter whether your PCs are connected to the router through your wireless network or using RJ-45 cables. We will configure an Internet access policy according to the following requirements:
•             Internet Access Policy Number: 2.
•             Enter Policy Name: Demo-Policy.
•             PCs List: 9202A5CB9489, D155C102080E, 192.168.1.2; 192.168.1.10 through 192.168.1.200.
•             Access Restriction: Allow.
•             Schedule:
o             Days: Monday through Friday.
o             Times: 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
•             Website Blocking by URL Address: http://www.facebook.com, http://www.myspace.com, and http://www.youtube.com.
•             Website Blocking by Keyword: Porn.
•             Blocked Services: Telnet.

  • My iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?

    Hello Friends,
I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
    1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
    2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
    (I'm using windows 7)
Friends, Please help me with the above problems. It will be a great help.
    Thank You.

Sounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

  • Server Utilization report (for processor) for business hour is incorrect

    Hi,
We are using SCOM 2012 SP1 UR3 in our environment.
Recently got a query from one of the team that the processor utilization report is incorrect for business hours.
First I pulled a SCOM report (Performance by Utilization) for business hours say 1st Feb to 15th Feb processor.
Then I pulled a Raw report from SQL DW targetting % Processor time , exported it to excel & filtered it for the same duration which gave an average value of 86% for processor.
Finally, also pulled the same data from default report (Operating System Performance) under Windows Server 2008 Operating System which also gave me an average value of 86%.
To summarize Performance by Utilization  does not calculate the accurate business hours & needs to be corrected.

  • Login only on business hours

    Hi,
Is there a way in order to enforce the authentication (telnet, shh) on switches and/or routers local or via RADIUS only on business hours?
    Thank you.
    Best regards.
    Massimiliano.

In theory, you should be able to create an access list that's time based and then apply it to your line.
    router(config)# time-range TEST
    router(config-time-range)# periodic weekdays 08:00 to 17:00
    router(config-time-range)# ip access-list ext ALLOWEDTELNET
router(config-ext-nacl)# permit tcp any any eq 23 time-range TEST
    router(config-ext-nacl)# line vty 0 4
    router(config-line)# access-class ALLOWEDTELNET
I've never tried this, but it should work.

  • CUIC Custom Report for Business Hours for Weekdays Only

Customer wants a UCCX custom report which we are building with CUIC Premium.  The one criteria we are having issue with deals with the ability to selects days of the week BUT only with specific hours of the day for each of the days selected.  So customer want to be able to run the report for Monday to Friday but from 8AM to 5PM for each of those days, so essentially during business hours only.  The built in Absolute Date Range does not work because that would run the report starting Monday at 8AM until Friday at 5PM.
    Thanks,
    Dan

    dicharville,
Our 3rd party solution lets you produce historical reports by "shifts" by each day.  In your case each day agents having the shift of 8 - 5.  Let me know if you would like to discuss in detail how our solution can accomplish this and more.

  • D & R only for Business Objects? Or also for transactions?

    Hi,
is D&R only possible for business objects? or can I use a R/3 transaction as source / target destination? Or do I need a Business Object as a wrapper to call R/3 transactions?

Hello MengyaLiu, and welcome to the forum,
I’m honestly not sure why our delivery team would have told you they were on their way to your home and then not arrive without an explanation as to why. Our delivery agents should be notifying you of all necessary changes in their delivery schedules, as we realize the inconvenience any possible delay may cause, so it’s regrettable to hear we failed you in this regard. I truly apologize for any frustration this oversight may have caused.
While I’ve personally documented your feedback here at the corporate office to ensure something of this nature doesn’t happen in the future, I’m glad to hear our delivery team was able to make this right and successfully delivered your TV yesterday. Please feel free to let us know how it went and if you have any further questions for me. I’ll be glad to help.

  • Enable email account only for certain hours?

is there a way to enable an email account for specific hours in a day?
I check my work email during work hours, and would like to disable that account after work. I have been doing this manually, but I was hoping there is a way to schedule when the email account is active...
    Thanks in advance
I looked in settings > mail > fetch, but if the account is active, manual checking will still connect after hours...Basically, if I'm not at work, I don't want to know

thanks for the definitive answer, I will request this...
Of course, I would also like a similar feature in Mail, but that doesn't seem forthcoming either

  • Kerberos delegation works, but only for 10 hours

Hi all - and please forgive in advance if this isn't the right forum for the question.
I have an application service which watches for a file to be dropped and then calls a SQL stored procedure which does a bulk insert into the DB from the file using unconstrained delegation to impersonate the service account of the application.
It worked fine in testing, and it worked fine when we tested during the prod deployment... but the next day, it failed!  The error is the ever-so-helpful:
Cannot bulk load because the file "<FILEPATH>" could not be opened. Operating system error code 5 Access is denied. .Procedure , Line 1
Even more odd, when we restarted the service and tried again, it succeeded.
Through trial-and-error, we found that if we restart the application service *less than* 10 hours before the file is dropped, it succeeds.  More than 10 hours, it fails.
So... I'm guessing Kerberos ticket expiration has something to do with this... but that's where I lose the thread.  Is there some way to avoid this error other than restarting the service every night?  I assume some kind of modification to the
application which "exercises" the delegation rights on a regular basis?  Any solution which doesn't require a new app build?
    Thanks for any input.

You're on the right track as the default Kerberos ticket life time in
    Windows is 10 hours.
I think that your only two choices are to restart the service or modify
your code and recompile. For the latter option, you're going to have to
post in an appropriate development forum (check the MSDN forums rather than
the TechNet) as this forum is not for development support.

  • ICM script formula for busy hour

    Hi all,
I'm trying to find what is the best/most accurate statistic which is available in ICM script editor to determine the peak & non-peak hours. Based on this info, I want to point to a different precision queue
    a) Number of calls in queue a specific PQ?
    b) Number of available / busy agents in a specific PQ?
    Any other recommendation?
    Thanks!
    -JT-

    Hi G,
The peak & non peak hours differs based on call type rather than being similar overall. Different call treatment is applied during these periods
    a) Low peak - more conditions, steps & longer waiting time within PQ
    b) High peak - less conditions, steps & shorter waiting time within PQ
The 2 different approach is to either
    a) pre-set the low/high peak based on fixed value (9-12pm peak, 1-pm non peak) - more maintenance
    b) dynamically determine high/low based on call statistics in the ICM script - less maintenance
    Thanks!

  • Suddenly no Sound - Audio Midi Setup helps only for a while ...

    Hi there,
using my iMac (early 2008) it sometimes happens (since the update to 10.6.8 ?), that I suddenly do not have any sound at all (volume is up, no mute active). After a while I discovered the hint also placed in https://discussions.apple.com/message/15943204#15943204 as a solution once, but it annoys me to have do that every other day or so.
Fast User switching is active and usualy two users logged in, sometimes more (children).
I have not discovered any pattern, that could lead to this phenomenom. Any help appreciated.
    Have a great year!
    RooX

I'm using a Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 (which has a microphone on the side). I have several other devices plugged into separate USB slots: a keyboard, a mouse, my iPhone, and a Roland keyboard midi controller.
I've considered that maybe the webcam/mic combo is the culprit. If USB doesn't work at a constant speed, that could very well be causing the issue! The sound begins to lag badly sometimes when it's working properly, so that there's a multisecond delay between speaking and hearing my voice repeated back over the mic which is another sign that something is wrong. I've also caught it making a strange electronic sound during its "hang" time once it stops taking sound input correctly.
Maybe I should try to use line-in and forgo USB altogether then. I think I'd need a preamp and some sort of converter for that since the Mac Mini lacks a powered mic jack. I'm only a newbie musician so I've never set up such a system but it might be a better solution in the long run.
I'll check to see if it hangs before or after my computer enters suspend mode, that's a good suggestion too. Thank you for your help!

  • Need to setup apple id for business account

I want to create my business account with MAC.
But my company is not listed there so i am not able to complete sign up process.
So can any1 please guide me how can i achieve it?

Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the changed ID.  This will delete the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your device, but not from iCloud.  Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.
If, however, you are changing to a new account with a new ID (rather than just a renamed ID), choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then choose Merge to upload your data to the new account when you sign back in.
Before deleting the account, save your photo stream photos to your camera roll by tapping Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.

  • Dial-backup - business hours limit

    Hi everybody,
I´m working in a lab that  includes dial-backup for a VSAT link (satellite link). This part of the  lab is working excelent, dial-backup goes up when the VSAT connection is  lost, and goes down when the VSAT link is recovered.
So, all is  ok but... I need to grant dial-backup access only in business hours (ex:  9 am to 5 pm) and deny these the rest of the day.
I  worked with time range + access list + dial-list but it didn´t work for  me. I was following the steps of this link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk133/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080094089.shtml.
Is there  other way to do this or other idea?
    Regards.

    Todd,
Sorry for the delay but i was on vacation. At below you´ll find the configuration, specifically highlighted in red the configuration regarding to block dial-in connections. This configuration intends to permit the dial-in connections only on business hours. I know that just is blocking IP traffic but I did not find a way to block PPP or other protocol in a low level.
    Could you help me?

  • Battery not working for 7 hours

battery not working for 7 hours.. it working only for 3 hours or 4 hours

I'm sorry, got confused. You're not going to get 7 hours on your battery. Apple says "Up to 7 hours". That means they got 7 hours under optimum circumstances and with certain usage. You need to keep your screen brightness as low as you can live with. Minimum music and video. Check some email, a little office type stuff. Forget games. You might get close but you won't get 7 hours.
In the small print of their adds Apple spells out exactly how much of what they did to get 7 hours.
