Setups needed to implement iProcurement when we had Purchasing installed

Hi,
I would like to know the basic setups/profiles needed to be activated/implemented to use iProcurement out of box. We have purchasing installed and we are using it for many years. Now client wants to implement iProcurement. Are there any preliminary setups to be done using purchasing or iProcurement responsibilities or Oracle Self-service web applications. Please share any or every information you know about it.

firstly I would suggest you take a look at the Procurement Implementation Manual for guidelines. It is also important wich version of E-business Suite you are on since R12 is fundamentally different than 11i10 with respect to especially the catalog management.
But at a high level you need to look at the following topics:
User/responsibility setups. Decide whether you are going to use all available functions e.g. desktop receiving, non catalog requests, punchout and services procurement.
Catalog setup/loads/structures/security. Are you going to use both internal items and bulkloaded content. How are you getting the content?
Is Automatic Document Creation already in place or should it be implemented.
Do you need to adjust the approval setup in case additional users are to use the system.
Do you need to look at account generation due to new aspects of procurement e.g. expense purchases.

Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..

Hi all. I have Yosemite on my iMac. Can i restore via my external hard drive to an earlier time when i had Mavericks on my iMac? If i can which operating system will i end up with? I would like to do this because i prefer Mavericks to Yosemite. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I've never seen that problem, but others have reported it. Maybe you should search for those other topics. You might try the following:
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
    Then download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
            because it is three times faster than wireless.
5. Reinstall Yosemite from Scratch:
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
    How to Clean Install OS X Yosemite.
    Then download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
            because it is three times faster than wireless.

Clean HDD & Load Mountain Lion when it had Leopard installed at purchase

I want to reinstall my operating system to clean my laptop and maybe speed it up a bit. When I install the OS I want to go straight to Mountain Lion rather than Leopard and then go through all the upgrades. I understand that I can doing this if I do the following:
You can boot into your Mountain Lion Recovery partition (hold down the Command and R keys whilst booting), use Disk Utility to erase "Macintosh HD" (or whatever you've named your boot drive) and then reinstall a clean copy of Mountain Lion. You will likely need your Apple ID to install ML, so make sure that you've the ID name and password handy.
I just want a little reassurance that this is correct. In my head I am struggling to see how I will log onto the app store for Mountain Lion if I have HDD.

That is the correct procedure. It will use your Apple ID and password to verify you have a license for Mountain Lion.
Apple might not let you purchase Mountain Lion from the App Store now that Mavericks has been released. See https://discussions.apple.com/message/23497806#23497806
If you want to speed up your Mac you might consider jumping to Mavericks. Apple claims, and people have been reporting, that is is noticeably faster than Mountain Lion. If you purchase Mountain Lion it will cost you $19.95. An upgrade to Mavericks is free.

I am trying to setup wireless using my old dome Airport ExtremeBase station. I had previously used it about 5 years ago when I had dial up but have now switche to DSL with Windstream. I can not get connecte as ABS keeps trying to dial up(the phone number)

I have no idea what the message is all about and when I close this window it immediately pops up again and prevents me -as far as I can tell -from changing my Airport settings? I need advice on how to get this wireless setup done. Maybe a reset? or something else? I have the DSL phone line plugged into WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem and then the ethernet (yellow) wire from the WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem to the port on the dome that is a circle of dots.

1)Can you explain how using the AEBS as a bridge will work with the Seimens Speedstream4200?
As a bridge, the AEBS will basically become a wireless access point. This will allow the AEBS to provide a wireless network, but still allow the Speedstream to provide NAT & DHCP services for the wireless clients connected to the AEBS. If the AEBS was left as a router, you would have a double-NAT condition which isn't necessary bad in itself, but would create a second subnet. That would make it more difficult for clients connected to the AEBS to access clients connected to the Speedstream.
2) Is there a link that will guide me through the steps to set the AEBS as a bridge?
You can easily reconfigure the AEBS as a bridge using the AirPort Utility.
ref: AirPort Utility > Select the AEBS > Manual Setup > Internet > Internet Connection > Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
3)Can I just connect the DSL phone line to the AEBS and eliminate the Speedstream4200?
Unfortunately no. The AEBS does not have a built-in DSL modem. You will still need the Speedstream to provide this function.

You can. Why do you think you cannot?
If you purchased it on your ipad, then you would have to transfer it to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
You can then listen to it on your computer.

There is a problem with IE10+ in that it is mistakenly seen as being IE1. To get around this either use a different browser or use compatibility view (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-10)

You would have to purchase a Mac version of CS5. You cannot install a Windows version on a Mac. CS5 is not a current product so you can't get a free platform swap.
Speak to Customer Service and see if it is possible to upgrade to CS6 ($200), and get what is know as a platform swap to Mac.

What version of Windows are you using? This is not a problem with iTunes. It may have to do with an issue of the compatibility of a newer version of iTunes with an older Windows system/older hardware.
What do you want to synchronize? If you were previously using iCloud you should be able to restore most of your oringinal content onto your new phone via was was last synched with the iCloud on your previous phone/device.

I had icloud set up perfectly well on my vista operating system, but when it had to be reconfigured I lost my icloud and cannot find the version I need to set up again.

What is the organisation where the receipt is created in? This should be an inventory organisation but as you mentioned you did not set this up but still are able to receive?
I always setup the system item key flexfield (1 segment), the organisation parameters and open the inventory accounting period when I am implementing iProcurement and Purchasing, also if the Inventory module is not used (yet).
I also faced issues with receiving when the Inventory period is not open. Most of the times receiving was working fine but for some reason receiving is sometimes erroring that the inventory period is not open.

If you can't get the password correct, you CANNOT restore from that backup.
However, if you've been using your phone as recommended by Apple, there should be minimal data loss.
Your iTunes library is on your computer, so you can synch all your apps, music, movies, ringtones, etc, on to your new phone.
Similarly, contacts should be synched to Address Book, Outlook, or a cloud service for you to easily synch back to your new phone.
Pictures taken from your old phone and not synched to your computer are lost, but you would have been synching those photos to your computer frequently as recommended. Other photos that you synch TO your iPhone are still on your computer.
You won't be able to get text messages back.
