Several Adobe programmes running in trial mode?

Several of my adobe programmes state that my trial has run out, despite the fact that I pay money for them each month. It has been doing this for over a month now, so is there any way to sort this out? I downloaded them through Creative Cloud. Last month, the same happened so I was instructed on how to reinstall them, but nothing has changed. Thanks.

  • Photoshop says it's running in Trial mode.

    Hi there,
10 days ago I purchased the Lightroom+Photoshop package. I went on to install that on my Mac Pro but now everytime I open Photoshop it pops open the Adobe Application Manager who reminds my that there are X days remaining on my Photoshop trial. Lightroom works without problems.
I can click on either License this software or Contintue Trial. When I select license this software I get the message that login is required. It already knows my Adobe ID. When I click on the Sign In button it just goes to the next screen that asks for a serial number which I obviously don't have since it's a CC product and we don't get serial numbers.
The strange part is, I also installed it on my MacBook Pro and it works flawlessly there. It activates/registers without issues.
Yesterday I removed all the CC software with the provided Adobe CC removal tools. I also manually deleted every trace of Adobe files I could find on my system (application support files in both the Libraries, caches etc). I then went on to reinstall the software but the issue remains. Lightroom works, Photoshop keeps claiming it's running in trial mode.
I searched for a solution to this problem on the internet and these forums at first. There are a lot of people having this issue but no real solution is given (or no solution that actually works for me). It seems to be a somewhat common issue unfortunately.
One of the things I read is that it could be a language issue, when installing the software in a different language than your OS. My OS is in Dutch but I installed the software in English international (because I'm not used to a Dutch language photoshop, I get all lost if it's not in English ). But on the other hand, on my laptop the situation is exactly the same. Dutch OSX, English CC install. And yet that works perfectly.
Also my hosts file is clean, nothing is blocking communication to Adobe servers. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting my account from inside the Creative Cloud menu app's settings to no avail.
It frustrates me to no end that the almost exact same setup works on my laptop and not on my desktop machine. Especially because the Mac Pro is my work machine and I rarely, if ever, use Photoshop on my laptop.
I really don't want to wait and see what happens in 20 days when the trial runs out. I don't know what to do anymore after doing that clean install (unless I missed just that crucial file that causes the issue..). Maybe it's an issue on the CC authentication server's end. Maybe I tried reinstalling too many times and it now thinks I'm running it on more than 2 computers? But that seems unlikely.
I'm running OSX 10.9.2 on both machines.

  • Why is my Acrobat Pro now running in "Trial" mode?

Today when I attempted to launch Acrobat v10.1.12 (previously installed with CS6), I was prompted to sign in.
When I signed in, I am alerted that I am running in “Trial” mode. I am licensed to use Acrobat Pro through my CS6 license.
I recently signed up for CC in order to open and work on newer files provided to me.
Is this issue is related to the CC subscription, and how can it be resolved?

It could be CC taking over the CS software regardless that it should not.  See if the following related posting helps:
How do I prevent Creative Cloud from taking over my CS6 perpetual license?

  • Why is my paid Creative Cloud Membership running in Trial Mode?

I have applied suggestion found in Help and Forum. Nothing Works.
    Suggestion 1.
Unistall Adobe Creative Cloud reboot computer reinstall. Sign into Adobe with account. Done. Ground Hog Day. Same result. Trial Mode still
    Suggestion 2.
    Download and run Appliaction Manager.
Deactivate software. Not possiable. Option NOT - note again NOT available. So why does the Help Page suggest an option that does not exist.
I cannot believe how out of touch you guys are.

You are talking to other forum members, here, although Adobe may peek in from time to time.
Deactivating is a possibility with PS-CS6 and other non-Cloud products.  Without knowing what Help page you’re viewing it’s hard to judge how applicable it is.
Deactivating a Cloud-licensed app is as simple as signing out of the Create Cloud Desktop app.  Presumably you’ve done this multiple times.
If you haven’t yet, do a right-click Run as Administrator on the PS-CC shortcut to make sure it has complete access to update things.
Try a modified version of Suggestion 2, after uninstalling, run the CC Cleaner app, then sign out of the CC Desktop app, then reboot and sign into the CC Desktop app if necessary, then reinstall.
The CC Cleaner app is available, here:

  • CC running in Trial mode

    Guys,
I've just purchased a CC membership on monthly basis, and when installed the application it gave me option to run as trial or enter serial number. So my question is... Is this normal that even after buying I have to run it as trial for one month or I have to have some kind of serial number to register...
    Thanks

    Hi Rebeldesigner,
    Welcome to Adobe Forums
As you have purchased the product you do not have to use it as a trial version, its an error which some times ask for a serial number.
You can follow the below mentioned link for a solution-
Creative Cloud applications ask for serial number
Let us know if that helps!
    Thanks

  • Dreamweaver CC only runs in trial mode

I've just purchased Dreamweaver CC. When I launch it Adobe App Manager asks me to either run as trial or license the software. When I try to license the software I log into my adobe account, then the app manager asks me for my serial number. Since I purchased this as a subscription I don't have a serial number. How do I fix this?

    Hi,
    Here are the few steps:
    1.     Please login to https://creative.adobe.com using your Adobe Id and Password and click on the My Account, if it is is showing 20 GB that means the creative cloud is active.
    2.     After that check this link http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/ccm-prompt-serial-number.html and if everything is alright then donwload Adobe Creative Cloud via https://creative.adobe.com/apps
    3.     Still no success then in windows 7 navigate to following location:
      /windows/system32/drivers/etc
    1. look out for "Hosts" file
    2. Open it with notepad
    3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
    4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CS6
On Windows XP navigate to following location:
    \windows\system32\drivers\etc
    1. look out for "Hosts" file
    2. Open it with notepad
    3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
    4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CS6
    Mac:
    1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
    2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
    3. Remove the entries and save the file
    4.  try again launching any product from CS6

Thank you, as I noted here, your post was the key to my getting a Windows 8 SecureBooting setup on a W530.
In the case of Windows 8, I needed to copy the files away, reformat my USB key as FAT32 and copy the files back, and viola I was able to boot from my USB install media with the BIOS set to only boot UEFI.  From there, there rest was easy (for Windows 8, the copying and renaming is not necessary, the key is having a FAT32 partition on the USB media, rather than an NTFS one; the EFI files are already in the right location).
    Thank you again good sir.
You are welcome... and I'm happy that the change of the file system helps with windows 8 too. Thanks for confirming that.

In the last day my Creative Cloud menu bar app on my Mac won't allow me to log in and all my apps now come up with a 30 day trial instead of opening normally. Has anyone had this problem? I need to solve it urgently.

  • I am trying to run my registered CS6 Design Standard programs for the first time after install. InDesign runs OK, but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trail mode. How do I activate those two?

I can't get my registered versions of CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator to run in full mode. I installed CS6 Design Standard online end of June (an upgrade from CS5.5), on my old MacBook Pro. I didn't run the programs then as I was waiting on arrival of new MacBook Pro. I migrated the programs from my old MacBook to the new, and today tried to run those programs for the first time. InDesign work OK (after an initial hiccup) but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trial mode, and won't let me save files. My CS6 Design Standard shows with it's registration in my Adobe Account. All seems in order, but Illustrator and Photoshop won't run in registered mode. Can you please help?

Demons1 in the future please only migrate your documents and settings.
Please use the uninstallers to remove your current installation.  They are located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  Once the uninstall is complete you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool.  You can find more details at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
If you need to download a fresh copy of the installation files for Creative Suite 6 you can do so at Download CS6 products.

  • Still in trial mode despite use of redemption code

I was given a year subscription by an adobe employee as they are trying to convert all the editors at my job to Premiere Pro from FCP. I received the email with the code and entered it, then I downloaded a bunch of apps but they all ask for a serial which I never got. Did I miss a step in the process or something?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Bernardosan72
Sorry to hear you're still having difficulties. I looked at your order and it looks like the type of membership which should only require you signing in with your Adobe ID and no redemption code.  Do you see any kind of button at the bottom with a "License this software" option that you can use to sign-in? If for some reason Photoshop was unable to activate, that would be an explanation why its running in trial mode. In addition to the link John provided, this one might be useful too: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

  • Software running in trial until other versions uninstalled

I tried to install creative cloud software but I got an error that says "Adobe Acrobate IX will run in trial mode until you uninstall previous versions of the software." I'm not sure what this means because I quite literally turned on this computer that I'm trying to install to for the first time ever.
However, I do have a corporate subscription to CC, and I have installed the software on my primary workstation. This is a laptop, and I'm pretty sure I can be logged into two machines similtaneously? If not, I can certainly have at least two installations.
Can anyone shed some light on the specifics that I'm not picking up on here?

I closed out of creative cloud on my new machine. On my primary machine I ran creative cloud updates to all software. Relaunched creative cloud on my new computer and everything seems to be working perfectly.

  • Have no redemption code, redemption code help didn't work. Photoshop still in trial mode

Purchased Photoshop + Lightroom monthly memership offer.
Installed Creative Cloud Manager and downloaded both programs.
Lightroom works fine and was activated with creative cloud without problem, however PHOTOSHOP simply doesn´t activate, only gives me option to start on trial mode and I haven´t received any redemption code to actually try redeem. In previous question you sent me redemption hel link, but didn't work out since i haven´t received any redemtion code. Hope you can help, I am rellay disappointed with this subscription.
