Several clients showing up in admin console w/ SCEP disabled

I've got jut over 40 computers that show up in the SCCM admin console as having SCEP disabled, but if I log into those machines and check, SCEP is running just fine.
How do I get them to report the proper state back to the site server?

Hi,
Please check the Endpoint Protection policy in Client Settings to see if the policy allow SCCM to manage SCEP clients on these machines. If the management of SCEP clients have been allowed by policy, you could try to set "Manage Endpoint Protection
client on client computers" to NO, refresh the machine policy on these clients. Wait for a while, set it to Yes, refresh the machine policy.
Best Regards,
Joyce

  • Index page not showing in the Admin Console

Hello I have downloaded the J2EE package. It was working fine for a couple of months. Recently though, I had a problem in the admin console. After I login successfully, not all the framesets of the admin page is displaying. The top frameset and the left frameset display perfectly. However the index frameset displayed exception messages. I tried reinstalling my J2SE and J2EE and still, the exception shows up. The following is the stacktrace of the errors displayed:

  • MAC showing up in ARD Admin console with status of unknown

I have one MAC in our fleet that just will not cooperate with ARD, I am running version 3.2.2 of ARD.
I have used the instructions that are posted here (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2577?viewlocale=en_US) for removing ARD from the client machine. After the removal of ARD I then reboot the client machine and reinstall from the Custom Client Package that I created, this package works flawlessly on all other MAC's in our fleet. This machine however will not cooperate, it shows in the admin console on my machine with an unknown status and a black icon next to it. Dragging it from the Scanner tab into the All Computers tab prompts for the login information, once the login information is provided it works for a minute or so and then adds the machine into the All Computers tab still with an unknown status and black icon. Trying to observe or control this machine fails every single time.
Has anyone else ran into anything like this? If so how can I go about repairing this so that I can successfully manage this machine just like the rest of our machines?
The client machine in question is a MAC Pro, with an Intel Xeon Quad-Core running OSX 10.5.5. I am officially stumped on this one and would greatly appreciate any assistance that can be provided.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Thanks for the ideas, I had checked the firewall back when this issue began and it was off, now I check it this morning and it's on only allowing essential connections. Turned the firewall back off (we have firewalls in place elsewhere) and presto!
Thank you very much, they are all now cooperating!

  • Multiple instances of jobs showing in Data Services Admin Console

When running jobs, there are multiple instances of the job showing in the admin console and when viewing any of the logs they are not associated with that job. We have had this in the past, and, I believe, it relates to an internal counter in one of the AL_* table which has wrapped to the start and this causes the admin console to see broken/cartesian joins and display multiple instances. However, I now cannot find how to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.

what is the version of DS/DI ? what is DS/DI Repositroy Database Type
did you manually delete data from AL_HISTORY table ?

  • SCCM 2012 R2 CU1 Client updates but not showing in Admin Console

I have updated my 5.00.7958.1000 client to Cumulative Update 1 (KB2938441).  If I look on the client the version now says 5.00.7958.1203.  My admin console when I click on the client still says 5.00.7958.1000. I tried update membership. It has
been a couple days since the update on the one. Another was early this morning.  I have updated using the Patch and software package deployment.  I have used the push installation to upgrade.  In all cases, upgrade works, but in the console
the client versions are not changing and keeps saying version is the same.
Why wouldn't it update by now?  This is crazy the time it is taking to show a new version has been installed/upgraded.
What process needs to happen?  Are there specific logs for this data coming back to the console I can check?

We are a school district so the majority of our clients are intranet.  Our WAN is connected with Gigabit connections.  Single sccm primary site at center of the hub-n-spoke network topology.  Server running Windows server 2012 w/ 4cpu and
16 GB RAM.  Server running in VMware so we can easily increase spec if needed, so more interested in what the "common" configuration may be so I can test it with those settings first and adjust accordingly.
We have 3,500 clients, only 800 of which may go home the other stay on network at all times.  A large number of those 3,500 are laptops that are in carts so they are not left on all the time so the different processes need to be somewhat frequent.
Additionally, it will be almost never that all those machines are on at the same time.  Many could be sitting shutdown in the carts.
Please offer your opinion as to what good settings might be.  I know they may not be perfect, but I can test them out.
Also checking the Client Settings under Administration workspace, I don't see all the same type of actions I do under the Client computer -> control panel -> configuration manager -> Actions tab.  Are these configured elsewhere
or do they all fall under the "hardware inventory" and "software inventory" sections of the Administration -> Client Settings?

  • Weblogic 11g Admin console - Admin Server Health shows "Warning"

    Hi,
    My env details : db 11.1.0.7, wls1033, RCU 11.1.1.3, soa 11.1.1.3, AIA11gR1 PS2
When I start only Admin server, Health shows "Ok" but when I start soa_server1, Admin Server Health becomes "Warning".
When I checked "Health information details" for Admin server, threadpool subsystem is showing "Warning".
Steps I tried to resolve this issue : increased "Stuck Thread Max Time" to "1200" and "Stuck Thread Timer Interval" to "120" and restarted server, but still it shows "Warning" for Admin server Health
Once I start soa_server1, Admin Server log shows below trace

It happens in every restart of the SOA Managed server.

  • Computers are not showing up in WSUS admin console

I have just deployed WSUS 3.2 on Server 2012 R2. All my client computers are Server 2012 R2 as well. I configured all the settings via the default domain GPO to point to my WSUS server and when I check the reg settings on any of the clients I see all the
settings I configured in the GPO are being pushed down. But when I go to the All Computers in the WSUS console there are no clients showing up. At first I thought it had to do with the port number not being in the Specify Intranet Microsoft update service
location all I had was the server name. I then changed it to 'servername:8530' and that change got pushed down but still no clients show up in the Computer's section in the WSUS admin console.
Is there something I should check or may be missing here?
    Thanks

Thanks for the help. Below is the windowsupdate.log file. I stopped the update service renamed the old log file and let it create a new one.

  • No more than 10 client computers appear in WSUS 3.0 Admin Console

    Hi Folks,
I installed WSUS 3.0 SP1 on our SBS 2003 R2 Premium server a few days ago. I've noticed that the WSUS admin console will never display more than 10 client computers at a time. In fact, I've got roughly 16 clients that get used daily.
I've used the ClientDiag.exe tool to confirm that an invisible client actually does has connectivity to the WSUS server. Group policy settings have flowed through to the clients as well. When I took a quick look at WindowsUpdate.log, it seemed to confirm connectivity to the WSUS server as well. If I run: wuauclt.exe /resetauthorization /detectnow on an invisible client, the client will then show up in the admin console, but at the same time, a previously displayed client will disappear from view. 10 clients seems to be the upper limit for admin console viewing.
Where should I be looking? Thanks, Derek.

This is a classic symptom of duplicated SusClientIDs caused by cloning an image with an already present SusClientID.
Delete the SusClientID registry value from the registry key
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate
    on EVERY PC
and reboot (or restart the Automatic Updates service)
and THEN run wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow
which will force the WUA to generate a new (unique) SusClientID and reregister with the WSUS Server.

  • Reports only showing up in local admin console?

Ok, so I am stuck. I have installed SCCM 2012 without issue and installed the Reporting Services point using the same system as the SRS server. Everyhting at first appeared to be great. Using the local console on the server all the reports show up and run
    fine.
However, when I use a console on a remote workstation (same login as server) everything works fine except reports, the reports always show up as "No Items Found." I can use the same credentials and browse to the report server and run reports through IE all
day long, but nothing I have tried can get them to show up in the console on the remote workstation. This client has quite a few people who will need to access reports this way, has anyone else seen anything like this?
    Thanks,
    Karl Koehler, mcitp, mct
P.S. I teach the MOC SCCM 2012 classes, the reports frequently do not show in the local console and a reboot fixes it. So this one really has me stumped.

Thanks for the replies, to answer your questions:
There is nothing special about the dB or SRS setup, everything is set to the default.
The systems running the remote consoles are in the domain, and have tried it on systems with UAC turned off completely.
I am able to access the reports through the reporting website without issue, but I haven't added the certificate to the clients (they do not have an internal CA and so it's using the self-signed.)
Do we think the console only uses HTTPS? Because that could be the issue. I'll add the cert and see what happnes and post back.

  • Images change position and dimension after client edits on admin console!

    Hi,
    1. After my client uploaded his images onto the site using the admin console they changed position slightly and did not fit exactually into the image frames i had set when i first made the site.
    2. When i opened the site on muse and merged changes the images positions and dimensions changed even more than what was being diplayed on the live site? (E.g I originally had two columns of square thumbnails for some slideshows and now i have a single column of rectangle images)
    3. I republished to see what would happen it now displays the way it was diplaying in Muse. The site is: www.jacobbuckland.co.uk
My understanding was that when i create an image frame or gallery in muse that any image uploaded via the admin console should fill that frame no matter what the size or dimensions of that image?
    Any help gratfully received. Thanks

Our technical team managed to find the immediate cause for the problem, and a solution.
According to them there was a corruption on a speciffic OLAP file. By deleting it, they allowed it to be recreated on the next application processing. The file in question was found in \Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\OLAP\Data\UGF.0.db\<APPLICATION>.38.cub.xml
Where <APPLICATION> is the name of the problematic cube.
    After that everything is working.

I'm seeing the same thing as Simon, I changed the iOS device name in both places on an iOS device and the name in the Intune console is still "iPhone" which is really unhelpful as I'm sure you can imagine.  Is there some other place
that we should be going to rename devices so they are more easily identifiable in the Intune console?
    Thanks!

  • Em showing everything is down including the admin server eventhough they are up in Weblogic Admin Console

    Hi there,
We are running with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.3.0 on top of Oracle Weblogic 10.3.3.0 which is installed on Windows Server 2008 64 bit. We have configured two SOA domains under this middleware home. For example, we will consider the SOA domain name as SOA1 and SOA2. When we logon to SOA1 Em console, Everything is showing the exact status as like SOA1 admin console. Whereas SOA2 is not the same case. SOA2 EM console showing all in red down arrow including Admin server but SOA2 admin console says everything running fine.
We checked the Oracle Doc ID 1484381.1 for more troubleshooting, But they have provided the patch only the version from 11.1.1.5.0 or later. Also we could see below error in the emos.log

Please help us to make sync the SOA2 EM console with SOA2 Admin console.
    Thanks
    Lakshman,

    Hi Lakshman,
what about about the WLS admin console? What is reported there for both
    domains?
When starting the managed servers for SOA2 domain, have you provided
the URL of the Admin Server of SOA2 domain?
    Cheers,
    A.

  • No application showing in planning web & can't connect to admin console

    Hi,
Planning web screen showing 'No aApplication available" even though I worked with planning application yesterday also and after that I am sure nobody have deleted that application. Also I can't login into essbase admin console as it is showing "cannot connect to administration server" though I have checked in services console that hyperion administration services is running.
One exception I got is shared services is not running. So I started that but after some time automatically went to stopped mode. Then I stopped all the services and restart the server and restart the services sequentially---- no hope. Same problem still there.
Can you please suggest how to solve the aforesaid?
    Thanks & Regards.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have tried that but still the same error having in admin console. I have not craeted/modified anything in planning cluster in last some days. The problem is that all services is started properly except 'shared services' service. When I go to start that it is starting and showing started but after some time, automatically stopped. I also tried the following-----
    1) Stopped all the other services except OpenLDAP
    2) then started the shared services from start-> run-> hyperion-> foundation services-> start shared services
    and got the error like---

    recognized by the Oracle server.

Attempting to connect to database: Retry Count: 1

Don't know what is happening....Any idea about the same? How could the problem be solved?
OR should I reinstall hyperion afresh.....

  • Xserve Xsan Client shows up mulitple times in Xsan Admin

I am seeing one of my clients showing up multiple times in my Xsan Admin under the Computers tab. Also under the Licenses tab I see that this Client's license is being used Multiple times.
    So information of interest:
The Client is an Xserve (Early 2009) that has a Quad Fibre Channel Card installed in it. Though only two of its connections go to my Fibre Channel switch. Also, I have installed Xsan Admin on all of my MDC's, and they differ with how many times this server comes up. What I mean by this is on one instance of Xsan Admin, it will show up in the Computers tab 15 times, while on another instance it will show up three times.
Any help would be most appreciated.

I found that if you quit XSAN by closing the app and disconnecting from SAN and reconnecting next time you launch XSAN Admin, it refreshes these lists and clears the redundant entries.  If you choose "quit xsan" from menu bar and don't disconnect, the multiple entries appear.

    Hi All,
I have developed a video chat application and during my testing, I found that if video chat is going on and in between the call if some one unplugged Internet cable then FMS admin console is taking too much time to disconnect as well as remove from list.
Is there any way to remove disconnected client immediately from admin console then please help me either by doing any configuration or logic.
    Thanks

You can set the AutoCloseIdleClients parameter for your application (simple), or write your own active detection method (harder).
