Several DW 8 errors

Hello,
I am getting several errors in DW 8, which started after
several months of error-free usage.
Upon loading of DW: "The following JavaScript errors
occurred: at line 56 of file
"C:/ProgramFiles/Macromedia/Dreamweaver
8/Configuration/Shared/Common/Scripts/dwscriptsExtData.js":Reference
error: dwscripts is not defined."
If I hit OK, then DW loads, and i get this error: "The
following translator were not loaded due to errors: ColdFusion.htm
has configuration information that is invalid."
Upon an attempt to copy and paste some code: "Whil executing
DWMenu_edit_copy command in menus.xml, the following JavaScript
error(s) occurred: TypeError: MM.event has no properties"
Can anyone help??

Just be aware that this method will dump your installed
extensions - meaning
that you will have to reinstall them.

Slow logins to domain, several event ID errors (group policy, netlogon, NTP errors)

We have a laptop user who was experiencing slow logons in a remote office.   (Remote office has 100 users, only 1 is reporting the issue). Helpdesk swapped computers to give the user brand new hardware.   The new laptop worked
fine while in the IT department in the main office, the user returned to their desk in their remote office after replacing the laptop and logged in and experienced the same slow logon issues as the older laptop.
Logons take up to 45 mins to process. (Login script hangs and does not process). During the process, you can check IPConfig and it received the proper DNS settings. you can ping the authenticating server by name. We have scanning
on our local copiers setup to scan to the users desktop, and this errors out. DNS on the AD controller shows the proper IP address for the machine and you can ping the machine by name.
System Event log is loaded with errors:
Event ID 5719 - Netlogon, computer not able to setup a secure session with a domain controller in the domain
Event ID 1129 - Group Policy, processing of Group Policy failed because of lack of network connectivity
Event ID 129 - Time Service, NTP Client was unable to set a domain peer to use as a time source
Event ID 5783 - NetLogon, The session setup to the WIndows NT or 2000 domain controller (xxx) for the domain is not responsive. RPC call cancelled.   (NOTE - you can ping this domain controller by name and by IP with no issues)
Event ID 130 - Time-Service, NTP client unable to set a domain peer
All these seem to point to RPC errors timing out because they cannot communicate to the network resources. The problem happens on wired or wireless connections. We had the user move to a different network connection (one we know is working for
another user) the problem persists.   The problem was on the original computer and continues to happen even after replacing the hardware with a brand new laptop.
I have tried running the following hotfix. Which does not resolve the issue:
http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2459530 which technically this shouldn't be an issue because we use DHCP off the 2003 AD domain controller.
I have checked the domain controller, AD Replication is processing with no issues. DNS is working. The local DHCP server has no issues or events related to this account and neither does the local DNS server or the authenticating server (which
is in another remote office).

Backup Fails after several successful days - errors "Device is not ready" & "The System cannot find the path specified"

Well I am back again, with another backup issue. After fixing one issue with the backup failing after a reboot, I have encountered another which is starting to cause me a lot of headaches.
The setup is thus - the backups run on a host machine running Windows Server 2012, this hosts three VM's (1x Server 2012 and 2x2008 Since the 19th of December a single backup drive has been attached for the backups (not ideal but the company had closed for
the holidays) up until the 26th these backups were working flawlessly.
On the 26th the backup completed with warnings, transferring a good 90% of the data to the backup (2/3 VMs). On the 27th it transferred a bit more at around 95% (2/3 VMs). On the 28th, it didn't completely backup a single VM.
On the 28th this error appeared in the event logs and after checking in the snap-in the same errors appear on the warning days as the errored day.
The backup operation that started at '‎2014‎-‎12‎-‎28T20:30:09.774946400Z' has failed with following error code '0x80780049' (None of the items included in backup were backed up.). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup
operation once the issue is resolved.

HT4972 I have lost photos after uploading new software, restoring took several attempts as error kept coming up , can retrieve my files

I upgraded to latest software iOS 5.11 and after following instructions and several attempts at restoring I restored but lost some photos.
These are not on the computer in sync (hard to check as computer cannot open ithmb files).
Is there a straight forward way to retrieve.
Starting to hate the iPad and will probably try the new Microsoft tablet as that will be easier to function with other devices

Several linuxwacom pkgbuilds error on download

linuxwacom and linuxwacom-dev both error out in the downloading stage, as well as xf86-input-wacom.
This is not the case with linuxwacom-cvs however.
This happens both manually and with yauort, but that's to be expected if it's an external problem.
I don't really know what to do about it other than make this post, hopefully someone else does.

First ask yourself and remember when posting something of this sort: How does it 'error out', and on what file specifically? "During the download stage" is a better description than most people give, but still not quite enough.
Next: You should first look at the source=() lines in the respective pkgbuilds.
In the case of linuxwacom, you have

Looking at the pkgbuild's variables, the former "$pkgname-${pkgver}${_rel}.tar.bz2" would convert to "linuxwacom-0.8.4-3.tar.bz2", so we have this hypothetical URL:

If you put that in a browser, it fails and redirects to this sourceforge page http://sourceforge.net/projects/linuxwacom/files/ .
If you look at that page, "$_rel" as "-3" no longer exists when the $pkgver is 0.8.4 (0.8.4-3). It's 0.8.4-4 now. Since you're sure the url is dead and not temporarily down or something you should tell the maintainer on the linuxwacom aur page comments if nobody else has reported it yet. Since you also know it is updated (from 0.8.4-3 to 0.8.4-4), you should use the "mark package as out of date" button on the aur page as well, which appears to have been done by someone else already for linuxwacom (but not -dev). The aur page comments are there for situations like this.
Repeat the procedure with other packages giving you problems; most maintainers are happy to help (and to have legitimate problems reported) and get things working if you've put forth the small effort to make sure it's not something wrong on your end.

Several Kinds of errors while executing a data acquisition application

Hi everybody!
I have made a data acquisition application which acquires data from
four probes (Oxygen, Temperature, RedOx and pH) continuously. After a
few hours or days suddenly NI Service Locator windows service stops,
then my application crashes. Also I get other error messages for
example, system error, etc... I can see them in events log from Windows
OS. I attach here some screens. I use LV 7.0 Express with Measurement
and Automation Explorer 3.0. Could be the problem caused by the version
of drivers I use? I use MS Windows XP with SP2 and I don't use any
firewall or antivirus because it isn't necessary in the plant, and the
industrial computer doesn't have internet connection.

It seems like you have figured a good state machine model for your application. I am attaching a more elaborate state machine example than what is available in Example Finder. It uses a Producer/Consumer scenario with queues to pass data between two loops. You can follow that example to create your application. You might not be able to run the program unless you configure your Data Acquisition hardware to correspond to the software settings. However, you will be able to see the overall structure pretty well.
Study the example well to see how data is passed from one state to another. For your wait time you can use either Elapsed Time VI or Wait VI.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Error message severity not translated correct when locale is changed

We have a shell page displaying different task flows within a dynamic region. The shell page f:view tag has locale="#{LocaleManager.currentLocale}" to allow programmatic change of locale. Most of the flows uses the locale from the browser request (e.g. Danish) but some pages has fixed locale (en_US) and will always be rendered with this locale (don't ask me why. It's a requirement). For those fixed locale pages, the expression #{LocaleManager.currentLocale} always returns "en_US". It works nice, but we have a strange problem with the translation of error messages displayed by validators/converters. E.g. if a character is entered in a number field, the user will see the usual popup error message like "*Error:* The value is not a number". The message part of the error message is translated but the severity message prefix ("Error:" in the example), seems to be translated and cached once per session. If the error message popup has been displayed once in a different locale, then after change of locale, the severity message prefix continues to use the translation from the first display. The message part of the message is translated perfectly.
Let me give an example:
1) User enters da_DK page and enters a invalid number. Error message displayed: "*Fejl:* Værdien er ikke et tal"
2) User enters en_US page and enters a invalid number. Error message displayed: "*Fejl:* The value is not a number"
If the examples is reversed, then the error messages will be:
2) "*Error:* The value is not a number"
1) "*Error:* Værdien er ikke et tal"
Do anyone know how to clear this translated severity message prefix, when locale is changed? Or is there a better way to overcome this issue?
We're using JDeveloper and ADF 11.1.2.2 and are able to reproduce the issue on the embedded weblogic.

ok I added another locale that ships with flash builder, and encoutered the same problem
whenever I change the locale, the error tooltips are gone
I was even able to fix both new locales by assigning the the validators custom error messages using resourceManager.getString() like i assign a value to all other UI strings in the application
the default locale which is specified in the project compiler's parameters is en_US
and my final question to you is:
is there a best practice regarding localizing & managing the error massages Flex SDK uses?
what is the internal path to the resource bundles that flex uses to display errors?
it seems like it makes more sense to copy and edit an existing list of errors, rather then blow up the application code...
can you please share your view on the matter

Error in starting tomcat

lately i was desigining a web application..
and was trying to display an html page..
for the first ime i started the tomcat5.0 and as usual typed the pages address(http:\\localhost:8080\BV\frm1.html)
the page was dispalyed without any problems..
then had to change something in html page..
so after done with the editing..
i had to restart my machine for somem reasons...
and then again o tried the same thing..
i'm getting the error..

Error message 4000 when trying to burn a cd in itunes

I am having problems burning a cd in itunes. I am getting the error message the attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred (4000). Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem. Please note that I have looked up other ways to solve problem and have tried them and none of them seem to work. Such as in program files I clicked on repair and not uninstall to see if there was any possible corrupt itunes files to be fixed. I changed the burn speed and that did not work. The only thing I did not do was a total uninstall of itunes. I need to know should I do that and if so what site will I need to go on to re-install itunes and will I have to pay for it? My computer which is Windows XP already had itunes on it when I bought it so I do not want to pay for itunes. So can someone please give me some guidance regarding this matter. And please note that I was able to burn cd's in itunes before and then it just stopped working. And I have tested my computer with the windows media player and I was able to burn music from my music library so I know my problem is with itunes.

I had this issue to when trying to burn discs recently. I went into the CD creation settings in iTunes and I "unchecked" the option to "Include CD Text" and after I did that, the disc I had been trying to burn several times with error, actually burned without fail. Give that a try and see what happens.

Crystal Report Error when Viewing in VB6

I'm using crystal report and vb6. My first problem was how to change the data source location of the crystal report. I found away by using this: crxReport.Databases.SetDataSource rsReport
but I'm having an exception report : "The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434f4d) occurred in the application at location 0x77e55e02"The report shows for some time but after opening several reports the error message occurs.This is my scenario:"I'm using a udl for my connection. I have two databases namely TK and TK_MCC. TK is for other company and TK_MCC is for the subsidiary company. I used TK database when I created the crystal report. I used the setdatasource to pass the recordset to change the datasource location of the crystal report. So even if they change the database TK to TK_MCC they can still access the report. But when I did the setdatasource there was an exception report. (The exception unknown software exception (0xe0434f4d) occurred in the application at location 0x77e55e02)"Before it was working fine when I don't have to change the database. But when I used crxReport.Database.SetDataSource rsReport this error happened.By the way, i tried it also in another computer (just installed the program) but the error message was different. The other error was error28 out of stack space and sometimes the program closes by itself.Can someone help me on this...Thank you very much.

Rundll32.exe is responsible for calling Windows DLL (or Dynamic Link Library) files and loading them into your PC's memory.
Usually the rundll32.exe Application error is not a straight forward error. There are lots of possible reasons for this error, includes a failed or incorrect installation or uninstallation of any softwares, which might have left erroneous Windows registry
entries.
Tracking down the exact issue can take lots of investigation. The severity of this error really depends, if everything works well for you, you can just ignore it. However, if you want to correct this, try below steps:
Since you notice this error right after you installed Office 2013, try to remove and re-install it using default setting.
Reboot your computer, many programs require a reboot for successful installation.
Try to update your computer drivers. This is usually the cause of lots of .dll file error.
Try to run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to correct any incorrect system file. It is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files:
