Several errors related to recovery of A305-s6837

Hey everyone, had to use the recovery disks for my mom's laptop and am encountering several errors post-recovery.
1. The first error? is that everytime Windows is loaded I get a box labeled System Preparation 3.14 toolbox, it hangs around for a few seconds and then disappears.
2. When windows loads, I get a auto-installer trying to load "Toshiba Desktop links". It does this everytime I load the software.
3. next, it will pop-up a box checking for network connection and warning box that requires wireless and lan lines to be disconnected. If you try to cancal the error, it will keep popping up until you turn it off and then back on.
When windows reloads, notepad opens up and I get what looks to be an error relating to "CheckFM" and/or "InstallFM".
4. Get an error message that Windows cannot find C:\b27238e.exe
5. Had to turn the user account's off because the administer account had a password that was different than the one I had on it pre-crash.
What had happened was that the computer was freezing up within 3-4 minutes of loading. It didn't matter what program you loaded, it would freeze. Anyway, any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks...

i cannot update to service pack 2.  In short, nothing from microsoft is installing.
it is asking me to authenticate microsoft windows installer
i have a Windows requries a digitally signed driver
Those symptoms are consistent with restoring to a drive with advanced-format technology. See my post here.
Is this a replacement drive? If so, what is the make and specific model?
this is not a hardware issue.
If this is the trouble, I would certainly call it a hardware issue.

    Hello Vishal,
Are you doing non-unicode R/3 x200 to unicode ECC 6.0 EHP5 upgrade? If yes, please go through CUUC upgrade document for pre-requisites.
Please take a look at below threads. It can help you.

  • Several errors during system preparation / basic configuration

    Hello,
during the basic configuration I get stuck in the process step configure automatically -> setup bw.
In the slg1 I can see several errors where I don't know if they are related to my bw problem or other probleme. Maybe someone can give me a hint how to solve the issue.
    @5C\QError@     2011/11/10 16:58:07 : DIAGTPL/CONFIG/HANDLER=CL_DIAGLS_ABAP_INST_TECH_SY Item does not exist
@5C\QError@     Product system DUM has no active standalone product version     @35\QLong text exists@
@5C\QError@     No detected product instances available for technical system C21     @35\QLong text exists@
in the Solman_setup I have the problem that
ESR: Extractor setup is not sucessful!
Cube 0SM_BPMRH is not active and will now be activated automatically
    System status failed for system
Could someone please help me to solve some of the problems?
    Thanks a lot, Vanessa

    Hello Vanessa,
I wouldn't recommend looking at SLG1 at all times and try to find solutions for it, since Solution Manager deals with a huge landscape and in most cases some warning is thrown in the logs for any reason.
For example, the "CL_DIAGLS_ABAP_INST_TECH_SY Item does not exist" and "no active standalone product version @35\QLong text exists@" can be due to systems coming from SLD to the LMDB with no correct definition. If SLD is not passing this information, it is 99% because the system is not well defined there. Hence it is just a warning.
Now if you see something in SLG1 and indeed you have issues in this diagnostics system, it must be investigated.
    For your BI problem:
Please execute the steps as described in section "3.2.1 Activation of
Info Cube from BI Content" in the Setup BPA Guide.

    p_Guide_BP_Analytics.pdf)
Furthermore, I strongly recommend that, for Solution Manager 7.1, you make sure you have the latest SP in ABAP and JAVA. Now we are at ST400 SP03  and LM-SERVICE SP03 patch level 1.
You must not forward to the next steps if you have a step yellow, red or with Update checked.
    Best regards,
    Guilherme

  • Jdeveloper 11 r1: An unexpected severe error has ocurred in Jdeveloper

I often get this error while working on jdeveloper r1
I checked in forums and I saw that other people have similar error too.
JDeveloper 11g R1 Unexpected severe error
But i am not sure its the same issue since i have different error log and it is not related with how much time you work with jdeveloper.
I manage to reproduce it in a simple test case
    [http://adfbugs.blogspot.com/2009/07/jdeveloper-11-r1-unexpected-severe.html]
The steps to reproduce it are:
    Open jspx in source view
    Open PageDef.xml in source view
    make any change in PageDef.xml (i.e. id="Next" to id="Next1")
Go to jspx and click on diferent places of code
    the error will appear then
I hope this help to solve this bug

    Hi,
I must add my +1 since before release 11.1.1.1.0 never had this experience but now it is appearing very often also for me (Vista 64bit)

How to I solve unknown error 2 iPhone recovery mode?

Errors related to third-party security software
    Error 2, 4 (or -4), 6, 1000, 9006
Follow the steps to troubleshoot security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
There may be third-party software that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your registry. An incorrectly set default packet size can cause these errors. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance or follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.
Verify that communication to albert.apple.com or phobos.apple.com isn't blocked by a firewall or other Internet security setting.
Discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps under "Advanced steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw)" below for file locations.
Restore your device while connected to a different network.
    Restore using a different computer.

  • Community Template; Save as Template Results in Several Errors

I customized a Community Site.  I saved that site as a template.  I used that template to create another site.  Resulting errors\things I don't like.
    1) When I click on Categories, the Featured Dicussion app and the Discussion app show correlation ID errors.
I deleted the Dicsussion app, re-added it, hoocked it up to the Categories webpart and that seemed to fix the error
I deleted the Featured Discussion app and re-added it.  Seamed to work however if there isn't a Featured Discussion the app isn't hidden like in the Community Template.  It just says there are no items in the Disucssion
    2) When I go to the Discussion List itsleft the Management View is gone.  I got around this by recreating it.
    3) When I went to a dicussion thread I had to change the view to Flat and make it the default.
All that being said, why can't I create a template from a Community Site without getting all these issues?  Has anyone figured out a way to do this?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you saved Community Site as Template results in several errors.
I tried to reproduce the issues, the site which created by the saved Template did has many problems.
This is a known issue in SharePoint Sever 2013. To work around this issue, create sites from a standard SharePoint template when you plan to use community categories. Everything will functions correctly on a site that wasn't created from a site saved as
    a template.
Please refer to the official article related, although it is about the SharePoint online, it still works for SharePoint 2013.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hello to all,
I am new to Arch Linux and not that experienced in Linux. But I want to learn more. In fact, I have learned a lot since I switched from Fedora to Arch.
I will straight away go to my problem:
As indicated in the subject, I have noticed several errors concerning [drm:....] this morning when I booted and checked my system with journalctl -b.
I do not know how long these errors are there because I yesterday used journalctl for the first time.

EDID is Extended Display Identification Data, information stored about you display's capabilities and geometry that are read by the video driver so provide automatic configuration.  The checksum error meant that there were inconsistencies in the data read.  No idea why.
    Edit,
    Oh, and welcome to Arch
Thank you for the info and for the welcome. I will read more about EDID and drm.

With journalctl, you have certainly discovered a powerful debugging tool.  It will no doublt come in handy along your learning adventures here.
I will admit being very impressed by your use of code tags in a first post as a new Arch Linux user.  Bravo sir!
Thank you also for your welcome and your advises. I  saw from other posts that the people here use some special style of representing code, so I searched a bit and clicked here and there and clicked on the BBCode link below the 'Quick post'-window and voila found the help site of the forum.

  • Berkeley db fatal region error detected run recovery

    Hi,
I have initiated d Berkeley DB object.
Then, I am using multithreading to put data into the DB.
Here is how I open the one data handler.
    ret = dbp->open(dbp, /* Pointer to the database */
    NULL, /* Txn pointer */
    db_file_name, /* File name */
    db_logical_name , /* Logical db name (unneeded) */
    DB_BTREE, /* Database type (using btree) */
    DB_CREATE, /* Open flags */
    0644); /* File mode. Using defaults */
each threads would put data into the same handler when it needs to.
I am getting "berkeley db fatal region error detected run recovery".
What is the problem? Does it have anything to do with the way the handler is created or whether multiple threads can put data into the DB?

    Hi jb,
    user8712854 wrote:
I am getting "berkeley db fatal region error detected run recovery".This is a generic Berkeley DB panic message that means something went wrong. When do you get this error? Did you enable the verbose error messages? Are there any other warning/error messages reported? By just posting the way you open the database doesn't help much at all. I reviewed the other questions you asked on the forum, and it seems that you are not following the advices and consult the documentation, but you prefer to open new threads. I advice you to first work on configuring Berkeley DB for your needs and read the following pages in order to understand which Berkeley DB Product best suits your application and how it should be configured for a multithreaded application:
    [The Berkeley DB products|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/intro/products.html]
    [Concurrent Data Store introduction|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/cam/intro.html]
    [Multithreaded applications|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/program/mt.html]
    [Berkeley DB handles|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/program/scope.html]
On the other hand, if the code that's calling the Berkeley DB APIs is not too big and is not private, you can post it here so we can review it for you and let you know what's wrong with it.
The procedures you should follow in order to fix a "run recovery" error are described here:
    [Recovery procedures|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/transapp/recovery.html]

  • How to fix an error  (related to work schedule rule) in Time evaluation ?

    Hi experts,
I am getting an error while running time evaluation - PT60.
    Find the log
    Log:TimeEvaluation                                                                                General data
Schema ZM04 Time Evaluation Without Clock Times
    00753402 Christoudas Natalie
Customizing error in work schedule rule 1 VM 01 5MTWTF Person rejected: 00753402
How to fix it? Its urgent.
Be assured of points for useful answers.
    Rajesh

    Hi All,
I have checked work schedules and work sc. rules. everything looks fine. Reason being fine, same work schrdule rule, i.e. 5MTWTF is used for other employees, whose payroll area, personnel area, personnel subarea, employee group and employee subgroups are same.
Why it is throwing error for one employee 753402.
I am providing you more information. In table V_T569r, if u select recalculation category as time evaluation, it is mentioned as 01.01.2003. Initially, one action called "Conversion take on" has been maintained as on 01.03.2002, where employee had payroll area -99 (payroll irrelevant) and personnel subarea - DAYY.
Then on 17.03.2008, another action ran "Conversion initial reassignment" where payroll area changed to "MT - monthly", subarea changed to DAYF. At that time PDC recalculation date in infotype 0003 was 01.03.2002 which was before recalculation date, i.e. 01.01.2003.
Time evaluation was throwing 2 error messages. one was solved by changing PDC recaluation date to 17.03.2008. But other error related to work sc rule 1 VM 01 5MTWTF still occurs.
Can some body now provide some useful information?
    Thanks
    Rajesh

  • Throws severe error in OBIEE SA with Essbase Cube as Source

    Hi All,
Currently we built the SA using Essbase ASO cube as source.Wehen we are trying to drag more then 4-5 dimension hierarchies it throws an severe error
Essbase Error: Query is allocating too large memory(>4GB) and cannot be executed.Query allocation exceeds allocation limits(HY000)
I am not able to identify the same in Essbase Excel addin. All are single-level based hierarchies and the count of dimensions is not more than 1000.
Can someone help me out to find out a way to resolve this issue or any work around.
    Thanks,
    SatyaB

What is the version that you using for OBIEE and Essbase ?? This is a know bug when Essbase as a source is used for OBIEE reporting. Try to get in touch with Oracle Support by raising an SR and getting correct patch (set of library files) for your system.
    This shud solve your problem.

MS SQL server is going down frequently(10 days of gap) with exception message: "A severe error occurred
on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded". We are facing this issue for past two month. But funny thing is server will be up automatically with out any service restart manually.  Also if we try to restart the SQL
server service manually then SQL server will be in a dead lock situation and it will not come up even if we wait for long time. Then we should do a windows server machine restart to
make the SQL sever up. As a suggestion from Microsoft to fix this kind of similar issue,
we have installed service pack 3 for SQL Server. But even after we are facing same issue.

Two type of database servers are installed on server:

    Hi YesYemPee,
I have tried but still not clear about your issue, I would like you provide more details information about your issue based on below points to better analysis about the issue:
What action did you do and caused the error "A severe error occurred on the current command. The results, if any, should be discarded", did you run report on the web application or something else then the error happen?
If you rendering the report and got the error, please try to provide us more error information in the log files which path like:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles
If it is not the case in step1, Please try to provide SQL Server Error log(SQL Server Logs) and more details information.
If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

I had some search, and the new discovery cause, might be that the AP didnt know what WLC do associate, in a multi-controller environment. This is not the case. I only have one WLC in the same management vlan.
2st-The Radius server is beeing related in the logs as been deactivated. I raise the server time-out on Radius configuration option, but it still continues to do it.

    Kindly advice to fix

    Hi Mohan,
Solution of your issue is already present in SHDINST_OS.LOG
Possibly the password for user ISNET\SAPServiceDEC entered in phase
1 ETQ399 INITPUT was wrong. You can reset it by calling 'SAPup set stdpar'.
1 ETQ399 Try to execute SAPSTARTSRV.EXE manually using the following syntax:
    1 ETQ399 H:\SUM\abap\exe\sapstartsrv.exe -r
    1 ETQ399 -p H:\SUM\abap\DEC\SYS\profile\START_DVEBMGS01_SAPECCDV -s DEC -n 01
    1 ETQ399 -U ISNET\SAPServiceDEC -P <PASSWORD> -e ISNET\decadm
1 ETQ399 and check if the service SAPDEC_01 can be stopped and restarted.
Read the log carefully.Have you performed the above mentioned steps from SHDINST_OS.LOG file at your end.
Also just give a full restart your server,up all the required services & confirm the execution of the phase.
    Thanks,
    Gaurav
