Facebook is not working anymore. Slow navigation on BlackBerry device. Rabobank App needs to be registered again, so many issues.
And not to forget the really anoing info popup saving email is on the left and apps are still open on the left. Can this be disabled?

BB really need to sort their act out with this. I had bold 9900 and an iPhone 5 and thought that the q10 would let me get rid of the iPhone and just have one phone. Not a chance and actually contemplating going back to the 9900 which is ridiculous! Ok so the interface takes a bit of getting used to, the hub is a good idea (if it worked properly) and the apps are better but it is simply nowhere near as efficient for dealing with hundreds of emails a day and now to add insult to injury, I updated to .273 and exchange emails not syncing (even though I have left for nearly 24 hours to catch up) and have lost all emails in folders and a result of the update (which took me offline for a few hours incidentally) and they wonder why the are losing market share! If the phone isn't ready for users and updates haven't been tested properly then don't bloody release it. You're losing loyal customers that are getting progressively more frustrated as BB don't focus on their core differentiator and look after busy email users looking for the most efficient device! Talk about several steps back!

Odd, but minor, issue after last update

Hi all,
A couple days ago, I finally updated OSX from 10.4.7 to 10.4.8, and I think in the Software Update routine there was an Airport update, and several other updates for Logic Pro, iMovie, etc., etc. All were minor updates.
However, now I have an odd issue. Every time I boot up my Intel iMac, I get a message saying that none of my trusted wireless networks are available, and it asks me if I want to connect to Apple network "xxxxxx" -- of course, the "xxxxxx" that the message refers to is my normal Airport network, so I click yes.
And that's the end of the issue until the next day, when I boot up the iMac again, and again I get the message. It doesn't seem to effect the actual performance throughout the day.
This minor issue began immediately after the last update, and only effects my Intel iMac. My G4 iMac, which was updated at the same time, to the same software specs, is unaffected.
Is this a bug, or is there something I can do to resolve the issue?

I heve the same problem. Two laptops and a desktop that used to connect automatically to my WPA protected AEBS. Since 10.4.8 none of them auto connect anymore. They never drop the connection during regular use, nor waking from sleep. But on shut down or restart it will not auto connect.

Bluetooth issues after last update, December 25th.

My Samsung S3 received an update on December 25th to build JSS15J.I535VRUCML1, version 4.3. Since it updated, I have been having numerous issues with Bluetooth. The first thing I immediately noticed is that my phone stopped auto pairing with my 2013 Ford Sync. I can still manually pair it by going into settings on my phone and tapping on "Sync". All of my other devices are acting in the same manner where they will not connect automatically anymore. This includes a Jawbone Era, a Jawbone Jambox, Plantronics headphones and a Plantronics Savi headset
Another issue I noticed on my Ford Sync, when I used to stream music via Bluetooth through my audio program, Subsonic, it would display the song and artist on my screen. Now it just says unknown song / unknown artist.
Also, My Fitbit stopped synching today. I started getting an error within the Fitbit program saying "There are known issues with Bluetooth 4.0 sync on your android device. Learn more"
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this, or can I just roll back to the previous version? Please help. This is really annoying

OK, I fixed mine, and thought I would post to everyone interested.
I have a Samsung GS3, and got the update 2 days ago. The update reset several things I didn't notice before, like I had to download and install swift key, and some other apps, but nevertheless, this is what I did.
On the GS3 Phone:
1) Settings > About Phone > Device Name and changed the name of my phone back to the name I like to use. This will show up on the car (Sync) as the BT device. My wife and I have the same phone and cannot tell the difference if they are both the same name. The update had changed it back to the default name.
2) Settings > Bluetooth , While the BT is turned on, click on the Sync setting icon on the right and pick Un-pair the sync device,
3) Turn off BT, and go under Settings > Application Manager. Scroll to the right until you get to "All". Scroll down til you see Bluetooth Share. Force stop, Clear cache and Clear Data.
4) Shut your phone down, and take the battery out.
On the Car: I have a Ford Escape 2014 with Sync.
Basically, you will have to do a factory reset, but on mine, it didn't hurt or lose anything.
1) Mine was under Settings > System > Factory Reset (May take 5 mins)
2) Put your phone battery back in and boot up your phone and turn on bluetooth
3) Once the Ford Sync has booted up, add the device and just follow the instructions on the screen and pair the phone back up. Your phone may prompt you for access to your contacts and to download your contacts. Be sure to click the don't show again and click OK
Mine works even better than before!! Text messages are coming in again, and the Bluetooth media stereo is working again too. Pandora is awesome over Bluetooth.
On the Ford Sync, the only thing I had to set back was the Voice command under settings (I like the advanced option so she does not repeat everything I say) , and under the phone settings for my GS3, I turn on 911, and I set the ring tone to text to speech. I like it to announce who is calling rather than the ringer. And that is it!
You might could get away with less steps, but this is what I did and it was minimal. Better than trying to factory rest your phone or something.

It's not impossible, you can always use CVS to get the old versions of PKGBUILD & Co. You can read about it in the wiki
I don't know how much packages are needed for the downgrade but you will need at least cups and libcups:
libcups:
there is only a PKGBUILD (no additional files) so I think this should do it (back to 1.2.9)
cups:
there are more files than just the PKGBUILD, but most of them haven't been modified since a long time except PKGBUILD (9 days ago) and maybe fr-template.patch (3 weeks ago), so most important should be this page.
With these information/files you can recreate the lost/old packages yourself. Copy /var/abs/lib/libcups and /var/abs/daemons/cups into /var/abs/local and modify the PKGBUILDs according to the CVS diff entries mentioned above and type makepkg. AFAIK this should be enough.
If you are lucky (and don't use abs too much, last maybe a month ago or so) then your abs-tree might still contain the old files and you can use them without modifications .

Display about 20% darker, Dim. Happened after last update.

My imac display is dim, kinda dark. Happened after last update and I have googled like crazy to find a solution, no luck so far. This is what i have done so far.
- I have tried several settings in the Energy Saver part of settings.
- Brightness is set to 100%
- I have tried several Display Profiles and also made my own.
- Did reset the PRAM, NVRAM several times.
- Even started it in safe boot etc..
- Reinstalled OS X completely
It seems like a software related problem. If i press sleep the screen of course goes black but the interesting thing is that when it wakes up it is back to the normal nice brightness for about 5-10 seconds then goes dim again.
Screen is at the normal brightness when using boot camp, windows.
Please if anyone has a solution, thank you.

I'm not convinced that it is a software issue, here's why: Our DVD burner stopped working so we brought it in to the local Apple store for repair. BTW the machine is 2 & 1/2 y.o. and yes, I purchased the extended warranty and I'm so glad I did (usually I pass on them). Anyway, they replaced the burner, we picked it up and when we plugged it in at home I noticed that the display was nice and bright and then went dim!
I proceeded to change the display brightness controls as well as the gamma settings. I got it to look better (still not as bright as prior to repair) but it still got bright and then dim after waking.
Since there were no software issues with the burner replacement, other than perhaps some drivers for the burner???, I attribute it to the repair!
Just my $0.02 and would welcome any suggestions as to what it is and how to resolve the issue.

ITunes no longer opening after last update.

ITunes not opening after last update on my main user. Second user is fine however accesses different library.
Computer freezes when attempting to open ITunes. Have also searched for the sync services file but is not located under reveal in folder or go to options.
Apologies I am not the best tech savy person and have read other posts trying to solve the problem. Other posts asked for the following reports.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - we are an apple household and this is effecting everything!

HTML animation effects doesn't work after last update

After last update my html animation that have different effects with different time: fade, translate, rotation, scale, ecc... plays but some effects doesn't play.
Various animated png in html project appears immediatly without shows transitions or deformations.
I have made html animation with Motion Composer that have time curve for each effect.. and all work fine with previous dps desktop tools...
I don't use Hedge because folios with hedge animation is mooooooooore large than folios with motion composer animation.
A single complex animation (10 .png(1024x768) with multipe effects fo each) made with composer produce a 1MB folio...
The same animation made with Hedge produce more the 100MB folio.
why new version of dps don't show my html anim correctly ? I hope adobe correct this proble.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Flash CC doesn't start up after last update

Flash CC doesn't start up after last update. It said "Training en zelfstudie" (Training and self-stufy in Dutch) for the update.
Everything was working fine before the update, now if I try to start-up Flash solo,
it says: "Flash werkt niet meer" (Flash has stopped working), and quits.
As you can probably tell from the message, I'm on Windows 7.
Now here is interesting info: if I double click a previous movie, then Flash starts up fine and loads the previous movie.
However when I close it and the screen that should appear is the "new movie" dialog, flash hangs again.
So obviously something went wrong installing the new update, or the update doesn't work properly.
I'm now working with my pre-cc flash5.5 version, which I re-installed to avoid crashing flash every time I close a file.
My questions:
1- Where do I log this problem? (Or am I in the right place?)
2- Can I re-install the previous version, which worked fine? (I can live without tutorials etc.)
3- Can I try to re-install this version if the above is not possible and how do I go about doing that?

What fixed the problem for me was just reinstalling Flash CC. I thought I'd give it a try, because I couldn't find a message of anyone experiencing the same problem.
So I used the control panel to uninstall Flash, then I tried reinstalling.
Creative Cloud kept saying Flash is up to date, so you can't reinstall. If you click on the gear and choose Exit and then restart Creative Cloud it will take a few seconds, but the it will see the situation as it is and you can reinstall Flash.
After the reinstall the issue was gone.
Thanks for the other solutions, I think this is a handy resource for rolling back Flash if I ever do need it
and gives me more confidence in the creative cloud product.
Maybe Adobe will pick it up and make it easier for us 'normal' creative-cloud users to
pick which version we want. Like you can do in CVS systems.

My IPhoto crashes during database converting after last update .... help!!!!

After last update, IPHOTO started to converting images database. After step 5/9 it is hanging up. What I can do?????
Please help, i have mora than 100Gb of images and no acces to them.

You might want to look at an earlier thread (link) about this issue, I also had the same issue with step 9 of 9 and 5 of 9 and this was my solution:
"Had the same issue with the never ending and faulty update to iPhoto 9.3. I got so frustrated that I ended up getting rid of iPhoto 9.3 and restoring my iPhoto to version 9.2.3.
You can do this by(1) erasing iPhoto from your computer from the applications folder and (2) reloading iPhoto from your iLife '11 DVD. When I did this I got overzealous and accidentally erased previous versions of the iPhoto updates as well. This was easy to correct by going to http://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search&src=support_site.psp.more&locale=e n_US&q=iPhoto and reloading the 9.1 and 9.2.3 iPhoto updates. Once I restored 9.2.3 -- the version prior to 9.3 -- I was able to see my photos again.
iPhoto 9.3 is obviously faulty if it cannot finish updating. I called Apple support and visited the "genius" bar and was told twice that they had never heard of this issue. Please call Apple support and voice your problems so that someone in the iPhoto software development team will eventually become aware of this problem."

i have updated my MacBook 2010 EFI to MB71.0039.B0E which is 2.1 version
after updating to this version the Boot time become much slower when i want to change boot partition
and shutdown become very much slower and startup too
i tried to install Mac OS X Lion again but it doesnt help
can i downgrade to this version 2.0 ???
or when Apple will release the new version ?
or where can i send a feedback regarding this issues !!!!

T510 ThinkVantage button and updates software broken after last update 12/1/2010

After last updates I ran on Dec 1, 2010, the ThinkVantage button does nothing. Running the updates and drivers from the control panel flashes the GUI splash screen then closes.
Lenovo really screwed this one up! Now you can't even get the updates to work to fix other issues.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Try uninstalling the PC-Doctor / Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox and System Update from Add/Remove programs, do a mandatory restart, thereafter download and run CCleaner, scan for registry issues with it and fix them. Subsequently, manually install both Toolbox and System Update.
Keep us posted with the results.

A long story about your issue... I think the reason of this is why you have deleted some registry keys. If you delete something in the Windows registry you should really know what you do. You can damage the complete Windows system!
So I think this is the reason why the keyboard doesnt anymore.
In the user manual I have founded that the CD-ROM booting option is only available with optional optical disk drive.
So for me it sounds like that your USB CD drive is not compatible to the notebook

Sounds like a permissions issue.
- repair permissions using Disk Utilty
- re-install just safari 2.0 from Tiger disk1 http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301229
MUST FIRST REMOVE THE Safari.pkg file from: HD_1 > Library > Recipts folder > safari.pkg.

After last update imac (2011) does't start. I press power button behind and its start screen with apple logo and gray progress bar, when progress bar is full its just turn off iMac. I Press button behind again and its come the same, over and over.
