Several Podcast issues - Explicit Tags, Logo not showing up...

I've been trying for while to figure this out on my own. We are uploading weekly podcast from a talk radio show program:

We are entering the podcast thru a WordPress Blog using a Podcasting Widget. However the podcasts are showing up as explicit when they are clearly not. They are entered as clean on the widget, why are they showing up explicity.
Also I've tried to replace the generic cover with our logo as well as the author from unknown and iTunes does not accept these changes.
Please let me know what other links or information I can provide.

This is not a podcast feed - it's missing a number of vital tags, in addition to which the FeedValidator report throws up a number of serious errors which invalidate even as a non-podcast feed. As a result the Store is not updating and no-one can subscribe to your podcast.
This suggests that you made some change after the latest episode shown on the Store page. Your site links to a feed at
http://www.wrigglinginthemiddle.com/?feed=rss2
The Feedvalidator report for this feed shows up some errors, but this feed can be subscribed to: however it's not the feed registered with the iTunes Store.
It rather looks as if you have submitted an incorrect feed to Feedburner - from the look of it it may be that you've submitted the feed for the blog, not the podcast, but this is something you'll have to investigate.

Podcast explicit tags are not being recognized

I'm using Squarespace as my website host, and have followed their instructions to insert the iTunes Explicit tag into our feed before submitting to the iTunes store. Unfortunately, after extensive testing with Squarespace support, the tags are being read properly in the XML feed, but each time I attempt to submit via iTunes, the Explicit tag is not recognized. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is especially bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
          SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages

"Explicit" tag will not work no matter what I do

I have done everything exactly as I was told in every tutorial that I have looked up, including the official iTunes tutorial, and yet, no matter what I do, iTunes refuses to recognize my podcast as "explicit" and instead thinks it "is clean." I do not want my podcast to be taken down for being explicit, and I do not want the unlikely scenario of a child accidentally stumbling upon it and hearing big people words, but nothing I do will put the "Explicit" tag on our page. Thanks so much. I sincerely appreciate all the help you've given me. I have one more question if it is not too much trouble for you. When you view the list of podcasts on our iTunes page, underneath "Description" there is nothing, just "--". When you click there (on the "--") you can see the full description, exactly how I want it. I do not understand why the first few words of the description do not appear in place of "--" as they do on any other podcast I have seen. I'm sure there is a simple solution just as there has been with my other issues.
To be clear, I am talking about the description for each episode, not the podcast in general.

Logo not showing up in header

My company's logo does not show up in the header when I save, close and reopen FormsCentral. I'm on the trial version.

Explicit tags do not work on IPad with Restrictions on

I have noticed (though I cannot say if it is the same for songs purchased through the Itunes store as I do not own any explicit ones) that songs I have manually marked as explicit with the program MP3TAG that on my Ipad and in itunes if I enable restricts they are still accessable and playable. I would like if possible a solution to fix this as this is a major problem for me
I convert all my mp3's to m4a's/mp4's before adding all my tags
my m4a's also have some custom tags such as label, arranger, and lyrcist. though I doubt that they have affected anything as itunes does not read them.

I didn't read this forum to see what other people's problems were.
Reading these forums get you only reports of problems - that's what tech support forums are for. You'll find similar reports in any tech support forum you might read.
I could have dumped the music in my trusty old 4GB iPod mini that still mounts like a hard drive and stored my photos there.
And you could have had the same problem if your iPod failed.
bring enough camera memory cards. They're cheap enough.
And they're easily damaged or corrupted - that's why there are so many products and services advertised to recover photos from memory cards.
I'm not defending the iPad, per se, but this is not an issue related solely to iPads. Any device can fail, or get damaged, or lost or stolen. The simplest solution: never trust critical content to any single device or medium, regardless of what that is. If you rely on any single point of failure, you're just asking for trouble.

Creating a Podcast: The "explicit" tag

I'm creating a podcast and while I don't intend to specifically create explicit content, I can't say for sure that there might not be an instance where I'm interviewing someone or I get a shot of a public event where something explicit might happen (i.e. a "swear word" heard off camera or one of those obscene boobies somewhere in the shot).
I hate to have the "EXPLICIT" tag placed on my podcast, but I don't want to get banned either. What are your recommendations? Should I be ultra-safe and label it "explicit" just in case or can I just label the individual episodes with the tag and just say "no" in the overall feed explicit tag?

Robbie, welcome. Nice to be prudent but this may be overkill. You can add an explicit tag to a specific podcast, for example if someone lets slip some expletive in an interview. For the most part, if your podcasts are normal, you can leave them as they are.
If you think you have to add such a tag, it might be worthwhile including something in the description (e.g. "audience comments can be overheard and may not be to everyone's tastes, so I added an explicit tag for this episode."

P tag elements not showing on pages using css

I converted a site from GoLive to DreamWeaver and all the
text using the <p> tag doesn't show up on the site, but the
other styles do show up, including <h1> tags, etc.
- I've confirmed the links to the css are correct and in
tact.
- I've cut and pasted text from the <body> tag, which
is the same spec as the <p> tag into place to make sure there
wasn't a typo. Didn't help.
- I've tried it with and without the <> brackets.
- I changed a paragraph within the page to "none" and used
the <br> tags to make the breaks, and it shows fine, but the
very next paragaph that uses the <p> doesn't work.
Any thoughts on why this would happen?

Streaming issues: iTunes content suddenly not showing up???

AppleTV is showing up in the devices list in iTunes, but it suddenly won't display any of my non-synced content.
Everything was working perfectly and without any changes being made to anything, the next time i fired up the AppleTV later the same day - no content was being displayed.
I restarted the AppleTV, restarted my router (though clearly it's on the network since it's showing up in iTunes), restarted my computer, reopened iTunes, unlinked and relinked to iTunes all to no avail.
Just to see if iTunes and the AppleTV could "talk" to one another, I tried syncing some new content to it that I was previously only streaming, and the sync worked fine - so I can't figure out what the problem is. It's clearly on the network and iTunes can clearly still communicate with the device because a sync worked fine.
Any insight??? All of the answers I've found deal with the AppleTV not showing up in iTunes but, again, that isn't the problem here.

I am having a similar issue, but am getting this all the time: we stream iTunes content and it starts off okay, but in middle of movie or podcast it loses its connection. We have tried most things, checked what was advised above, tried it with ethernet cable and wireless, even had a new Apple TV few weeks ago, but it's still the same problem. We then have to disconnect iTunes again on AppleTV, remove AppleTV from itunes, then add shared iTunes library with the steaming code again and it works for about 15 minutes.
Can't think of anything else anymore!
Anyone has any other suggestions?

CertView issues, SQL Expert logo not available

I was checking CertView and the logo for the Oracle Database SQL Certified Expert doesn't seem to be available, the link is broken or something to that effect. Also it seems there's some errors as there's duplicated rows.
Anyone else having issues in there?

If you are having issues such as these with CertView, please outline these issues in as much detail as possible and send to [email protected] Please include your Oracle Candidate ID as well as your SSO user name. This way, we will be able to determine if there is an issue candidate by candidate, or if there is a bigger issue that we need to take back to the technical team.
Thanks to everyone for your patience on CertView as we work out unexpected kinks. We are working very diligently to get these issues sorted out and ensure that CertView operates as expected.
Regarding tests at Pearson VUE not showing up in CertView, due to a technical issue, there was a delay in data that was coming to us from Pearson VUE getting uploaded into the database. At this time, we are told that Pearson VUE data up to October 22 should now be included in CertView. The remaining data is still pending. This issue has also affected fulfillment, so if you are expecting a certificate from an exam or exams taken up til now at Pearson VUE, your certificate has been delayed. We expect all kits for certifications completed thru October 22 to be sent by the end of next week. We hope to receive another wave of fulfillment data next week as well to get us caught up.
Please keep in mind that the transition from Prometric to Pearson VUE was a HUGE transition and we are diligently working out the kinks. Also, during this transition, Oracle released CertView which has had its own set of challenges. We understand that both of these projects have also been challenging for our customers and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work thru these issues and strive to make these process better!

ID3 tag information not showing up on imported files

I've only had my iPod for a couple of days and I'm working right now on importing all my computer's mp3 files into iTunes, using "add folder to library." Most of the time it's going fine, but for some files the ID3 information will not show up for no apparent reason when it is definitely there (it shows up fine in Winamp etc)--sometimes it will even be only a few songs in a folder with the others working! I have no idea what to do, and when I search the forums all I can find is other people having the same problem but no answers. Someone help please?

Go to menu Advanced -> Convert ID3 tags.
Select ID3 tag version: V2.2.

Podcasts sync'd from iTunes not showing up in Podcast app

Another question from the iOS 6 upgrade ... I know there is a Podcasts app that you need for playing Podcasts in iOS 6 rather than in the Music app.
The problem is, the podcasts I subscribe to in iTunes on my PC are not showing up in the Podcasts app in iOS 6.
iTunes says they are sync'd to this phone, but they do not show up anywhere at all...
Ideas? Similar experiences? Any insight appreciated.

For what it's worth I just started with a clean slate (restored the phone to base iOS6) and all is magically well again.

Logo not showing up

I'm not sure if this is an Indesign problem or Illustrator problem so I'm starting with the Illustrator forums.
I have a logo created in Illustrator that I have imported into an inDesign document. Only part of the logo is showing up when I print it (all is showing up in the inDesign document). The text (name of organization) is what is not printing.

The small text at the bottom does show up. Any idea what is wrong?

If the white's not printing it's probably set to overprint. Turn on
overprint preview in InDesign to check.
