Several purchase-orders for one requisition

Hello,
as I read in SAP/OSS Note 109143, it is not possible to create more than one purchase-order for a purchase-requisition, when the requisition comes from SD-order (Orders on Hand).
We use Release R/3 4.6C. Are there possibilities in ERP 2004/2005 ?

Hello,
Thanks, for your answer. I mean several purchase-orders for one requisition-ITEM. The requisition-ITEM comes from an SD-order-ITEM.
We want to split the requisition-ITEM-quantity to several vendors.
SD-ITEM (200 Pce) -> req.ITEM (200) --> vendor 1 (100 Pce)
.......................................................|-> vendor 2 (50 Pce)
.......................................................|-> vendor 3 (50 Pce)

  • Multiple purchase orders for one sales order: ME59

    Hi,
I have issue with converting sales order into a purchase order.
A standard third party sales order (type TAS) with multiple line items is being converted to a single purchase order.
In case of a free of charge sales order (type FD) with multiple line items, each line item is being converted to an individual PO.
The difference between TAS and FD is the item catecory and schedule line category.
In both the above cases only one purchase requisition is being created per sales order. The issue is when this PR is being converted to a PO. (ME59 is used to convert the PR).
Is there any setting/config which is driving the multiple PO creation based on either schedule line category or the account assignment category setup in the schedule line category?
    Please advice...
    Thanks,
    KSB

    Any ideas?

  • Several purchase requsitions from one sales order

    Hi,
I am using item category TAB to create a purchase requsition from a sales order, this works fine.
What I really want to do is to create one purchase requsition for each condition type of a special kind from the TAB position in the sales order.
Another possibility is to create several purchase orders from one purchase requsition, split on the earlier mentioned condition types. In any case, the end result should be several POs from one SO, split on condition types.
Can this be done in config or do you have a suitable user-exit for me?
    Thanks in advance!
    Best Regards

    HI,
The Cost Center Determination settings is in OVF3, the standard works only at the header level though, so it would not work if cost center is needed on the line item.
For this case I suggest to try from CO view:
A material is linked to a profit center. From this profit center you can determine a cost center using txn OKB9
In combination with the material's account assignment field and account determination customizing, an alternate revenue account can be determined for this material. ("Normal" revenue accounts are to be used in combination with CO-PA).
If this account is a cost element with category type "1" you need the entries in OKB9.
    Hope this help!

  • What is Tcode for purchase order and purchse requisition.

    HI all
What is Tcode for purchase order and purchse requisition.
    Thanks

    Hi Melanie,
How are you trying to check for the PR number? Are you accessing it via Portal (IE) or the GUI?
If you are trying to get the PR number for a SC through Portal. Then please follow the below process.
Go to the SC > Related Documents tab
The related Documents tab should have all the follow-on document number along with the type of document.
If you are trying to get the PR number for a SC through GUI, then:
Go to transaction BBP_PD in GUI > Give the Object Types as BUS2121 and the Object ID as the SC number and click on F8.
Once you have opened the SC then scroll down till you get the Header Links and click on the line.
This should display the document that is linked to the SC.
    Hope this helps.

  • Two purchase orders from one purchase requisition

    Hi experts,
i'm getting this strange behavior. How is possible to create 2 purchase orders from one purchase requisition ??
If i look to sales order flow i see two purchase orders.
    Thank you.

    Hello Dan M,
When u enter the material and qty in Item the system might be doing Availability check. Then u might be going to schedule line and then "check mark on "Fix qty/date". Here once again the system might be doing Availability check and then u press  "Dely proposal".
I suggest u to check the Purchase Requisition Item No. (the field next to Purchase Requisition No.). Keep watch here after every step u perform. Watch before and after u press every button.
Do carefully analysis step by step u will get the reason.
Any thing required write on the forum.

  • Create auotmatic purchase order for non stock materials

    Hi,
Please provide me information on how to create automtaic purchase order for non stock materials in MM system.
    Regards

    Hi,
For automatic PO creation follow the steps.
    1) Material Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box  (Material type NLAG)
    2) Vendor Master purchasing view tick automatic PO check box.
    3) Maintain Source list for Vendor & Material.
    4) Maintain Purchase Info Record.
    5) Create a Purchase Requisition.
    6) Use T.Code: ME59N & execute for PR for vendor, you will be able to create automatic PO.
    Note
Ensure that Purchase Info Record should be there.
If you have more than one vendor then fixes only one vendor in source list.
During PR creation select source determination check box.

  • Combine purchase orders on one delivery

    Hello,
I´ve a problem to combine purchase order positions from different purchase orders together on one single delivery. This should be similar the order combination indicator in customer orders.
In the moment I get the Handling Units pack data in the shipment from the external warehouse. Different delivery positions can be packed together into a HU. This makes it impossible to get the pack data from the transport into the inbound delivery where it is requested for the EWM.
Now the idea is to have just one delivery on one shipment to make it easier to get the pack date on the delivery.
    Thanks for your ideas.
    Kind regards

  • Transfer of tax indicator to purchase order for service items in shopping cart

    Hi all.
I have a problem with the tax indicator in the shopping carts and in the backend purchase orders for service items. If I create a shopping cart with service items with different tax indicators, the backend purchase order have a unique item including all the services. So, all the PO items are under one tax indicator while in the shopping cart there is more than one indicator. I mean, the PO is not correctly replicated with the information of the SC.
Example: shopping cart in SRM with 3 items, tax codes: V1, V2, V1. The standard code transfers the information to the backend, and creates a purchase order with an unique item with the 3 services under tax code V1. So, the second service is not under the correct tax code, and will be wrongly invoiced.
We have debugged all the code of the process, and we think it is a standard bug. When you replicate a PO in the backend from a SC in SRM, have you experienced this behaviour, or the service items are grouped in different PO items each one with the correct tax indicator?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi again...
I forgot to mention that we have found and applied the note 1822107 (Purchase order: wrong tax code for PO with 2 service items), that fits exactly to our problem. But after testing, it doesn't work.
    Regards.

  • Purchase order for KIT item

    Hi,
my requirement is to raise Purchase order for KIT item. For Example--
For 1 Kit item A, including 1 table and 4 chairs. Define components (table and chair) for item A by using Bills of Material screen. In Order Management, when user orders 100 item A, system will generate automatically 100 tables and 400 chairs and Ship to customer. Item A does not have Onhand, only its components have Onhand.
will the oracle purchasing support this KIT purchase concept.
    pl give me suggestions.
    Thanks in Advance,
    regards,
    venkat

    Venkat
I'm thinking that your requisition from OM will be automatically converted to internal requisition for 100 tables and 400 chairs, based on your setup.
Would you still need to have 'KIT' setup in procurement?
The other thing I can think of is, you can use Requisition Templates to help in ordering items on a repetitive basis.
Let us know what you think.

  • Purchase Order for Battery filling

Hi I had an issue with  Purchase Order , I need to create a Purchase order for battery refill, Stores will send 10 batteries for refill and sometimes 9 only come back the remaining one he will send unfilled we will pay for 9 batteries to supplier but the 10th battery also come back to stock how to track the items gone out and items come back in.

    Hi,
I think you should use Inventory Transfers for ths process. Due to the fact that you don't actually purchase the batteris, but the "refill" service, you can't use the actual battery item in your PO (otherwise recieving the GRPO will incresae your stock qty).
Instead, open 2 Storages in your system, one for "Items that were sent for refill/service" and one for "Items out of service".
When sending the batteries to your supplier, move those 10 batteries to the 1st storage manually. When you get them back, transfer 9 of them to your regular storage and the remaining to the 2nd one.
    Beni.

  • Purchase order for part C which is made up of parts A and B

I'm trying to create a purchase order for part C which is made up of parts A and B:
The customer orders part C (Key/ignition combination) through a sales order, I must create a purchase order for part C which will consist of parts A (Key) and B (Ignition); something like a BOM. The problem is that I don't know of a way to do this in purchasing. The only standard way is a subcontracting purchase order which will obviously not work in this scenario.
Is there a way to order these parts (A and B) but goods receipt part C.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
At the sales document level when the BOM for part C will be exploded then the schedule line category attached to Part C item should only create a Purchase requisition. and all below level component in PR should be marked as bulk material for which independent requirement will not be created in further processing of PR or PO.

  • Purchase order for a line item

    Hi Guys,
I have got the following business sceanrio.
I have got a material "A" which can get from locally or can get from 3rd party also.
In the sales order i have entered like following.
Line item no.  Material     Qunatity     Item category
            10             A              100
            20             A              500
As only 100 quantity is available in my stock i want to go with 3rd party for line item 20.
How can i go ahead in this scenario.
What would be the item categories for two line items?
If i go with Purchase order for line item 20. Where in sales order i can track that, Line item 20 is getting thru Purchase order, My requirement is to store the corresponding purchase order no for each line item getting from 3rd party (STO also).
    Thank you
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
For delivery from stock use the item category TAN
For procuring it from Vendor use the item category - TAS/TAB
Check whether the ITEM CATEGORY GROUP & GENERAL ITEM CATEGORY GROUP for Material B is BANS/BANC & the Material type is HAWA.
Once you get the item category TAS/TAB, in sales order save it and go to Change to mode of the Sales Order then you can see the purchase requisition no in the Schedule line tab. Based on this Purchase Requisition a PO is created.
After you save the PO note down the PO number and then raise Goods Receipt (MIGO) with reference to the PO number.
Now you can goto MMBE and check the Stock for Material B.
    Reward if helpful.
    Regards
