Several user status at the same time

As I found, we can only choose one status from the list in WBS. Is there any config can make it possible to select multi status in one time?

yes you can select more then one user status at the same time
For example you create user status like this in OK02
1     INIT     Initiative
2     DRPR     Draft Proposal
3     PLAN     Fully planned & costed
4     AFEA     502-Approved
5     RELE     Released for execution
6     HOLD     On hold
You can select the user status from the above list
If you set the Initial status flag for the user status
If a status is marked as an initial status, it is automatically activated in an object when the object is created

DW8 doesn't support the selection of multiple classes in the properties panel. I'm pretty sure that feature didn't appear until the release of CS6. Unless you upgrade to CS6 or CC, you must do it manually in your code.

Connectivity issues because of many users on at the same time.

I notice this has been getting worse and worse, and last night my wife almost didn't get on in time to finish a college assignment.My wife noticed that there were about 7 or 8 people online at the same time. It seems anytime there are 5 or more we cannot connect at all.
After a few hours we noticed there were only 2 people online, and what do you know we got on right away. Is it possible that over the years we have exceeded our bandwidth and now are just too overloaded? It sure seems that way, and was pretty much proven last night.
Is there anything I can do about this? love to switch to FIOS ,but I'm afraid our mayor is in bed with Comcast (so to speak), so chances of getting FIOS here are pretty much nonexistant.

Without knowing which router you have (Verizon has supplied several different DSL router/modems), it is hard to give specific directions for your specific router.
1). You can determine your speed by connecting to your router (http://192.169.1.1) and logging in.
Usually the user id is Admin and the password is passwd or password, but on some routers there is a sticker that identifies the password. If nothing works, try reseting the router. Once you are logged in, print out the 'transceiver stats', that will tell you what the speed on the link between you and the central office is. If you post that information, we can also tell you if your line can support a higher speed than you currently have.
2). Once you are connected to the router, you can also check the wireless settings. If you have never set it up, it may be an unsecured network, in which case anyone can use it. You probably want to change that. While everyone says how wonderful WPA2 is, the reality is that any security, even WEP will very effectively discourage and effectively prevent others from using your wireless network.

have their own users IDs, you can set an appropriate Access Control List(ACL).
It is also possible to make the calendar publicly writable.

In my opinion, you want to use the same Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID on both devices. That is exactly what iCloud is designed for - to keep devices with the same Apple ID in sync. Your Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Safari Bookmarks, Notes, Photo Stream photos, and Documents will all be kept in sync if you have those options set up on both devices under Settings>iCloud.
Unless you have some reason to not want to have the same information on both devices, then going with a single ID on both is the way to go.

Multiple iTunes open in multiple 'user accounts'- at the same time

We have three people in our family, each with their own iPod/iphone, we sync our iPod/iphone on the same computer but in different ‘user accounts’ in xp.
Now the problem is ; only one iTunes program can run at a time, so if one person is downloading a podcast and another logs into their user account then they can’t open iTunes because it is open in another user account already.
There must be a way to run multiple iTunes at the same time in different user accounts?
Anyone?

Multiple users draw at the same time

Hello there,
I am very sorry if this is the wrong place for posting this question.
I am trying to create a java2D application where multiple users can collaborate to draw on canvas (at the same time from two or more machines). The first user should act as a server and all other users should be the clients. I want the drawing to occur in real time. I have some ideas (like using Monitors and java synchronization) on how to do it but I am not sure if this is the right way to approach such a problem.
Also I know that I will need something like a Buffer to store changes and a way of communication...
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me. Guidance or a simple example that can help me to understand the logic behind it so I can develop it myself.

I've implemented this project to provide "whiteboard" capability to an existing chat client. The "model" for the drawing was an SVG document (rendered using Apache Batik) and the communication between clients was the SVG (XML) snippets and their location in the document.
Only difference is that one-to-one was supported with clients. One-to-many required a server-side component, but there's no reason one client couldn't have acted as the server.
So my recommendation is SVG, then your communication layer is really a simple XML document editing protocol. Our protocol is here but was never approved as a XEP by the XMPP council. The date's wrong; that protocol was updated as recently as 2008.

Mac on Windows SMB Share- IDLK files disappearing allowing several users to access the same file

We have a volume licensing agreement with Adobe and have around 16 Adobe CS6 licenses all used on Macs. The network is based around Windows servers and shares which the Macs connect to via an SMB connection to the server. The issue we're having is that when an InDesign file is opened, sometimes it will not create an IDLK file (or sometimes it will create one but it will disappear seconds later) and it allows several people to view the same file at the same time. Obviously two or more people working on the same file can, will and has caused issues with overwriting documents without knowledge of doing so.
Has anyone else encountered this or have any ideas as to what might help us resolve this issue?

When you open a file from a previous version (you'll see converted in
the file name) there is no CS6 file in existence, yet. Once the file is
saved as a CS6 file, the lock file is created. The whole procedure is
designed so that you must make a fully conscious decision to overwrite
the old version file with a new one.
This is no different than creating a new document that hasn't been saved
yet.

DS - 2 users working at the same time

Hi,
I'm using DS 4.0 SP3 Patch 4 and I'm wondering if it possible to use DS by two person in the same time?
I make some process and other person make another project but we use the same repository database.
Is it only depende on license version, or I should use my own repository database, and second person their own?

Support for Windows User Access Control (UAC)
Windows Vista and newer versions of Windows include a security feature known as User Access Control (UAC). In general, UAC addresses issues in system stability and security by running most applications with standard user rights instead of administrator-level rights, as in previous versions of Windows. In this version of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, UAC support has been improved so that standard users do not require elevated access rights in order to run Data Services applications such as the Designer.
Previous versions of Data Services stored all configuration options in a location that required elevated access rights to modify. Because of this, standard users could run applications such as the Designer only in elevated access mode.
The Data Services installation program now creates additional environment variables: DS_COMMON_DIR on all platforms, and DS_USER_DIR on Windows platforms.
User-specific configuration options have been moved to a new file in DS_USER_DIR, where standard users have full access by default. This allows a standard user to run applications such as the Designer without requiring elevated access.
Means you need to upgrade to 4.1, and not 4.2 as of my previous post (my mistake).

TS3276 There are two User accounts on my iMac. The two Users have seperate email accounts. Both email Mailboxes show up in each Account. If I Delete Mailbox from in User account, does it delete the Mailbox from the other User account at the same time?

If you click the - sign in Mail preferences, it will delete that mail account. If you just delete the Mailbox, that will just delete the Mailbox.
Each user can put their own email account information in Mail when logged into their User Account.
If you don't want the other user's mail account to show up in your mail application, then make sure the other user's messages are available to them when they are logged into their account and delete the other user account from Mail in your User Account. The other user can do the same when logged into their user account. Any messages stored in one locally will have to be transfered to the other's user account if it's not saved in their user login.
In addition, instead of deleting the account at first, highlight the account and open the Advanced Tab and disable the account. That email account will dissappear from Mail. Once you decide that you don't want the account, you can delete it. If you need to get back to it to transfer messages, just re enable it.

I don't thin you can unless you are running multiport server and even then you would need a special box to split out the KVM's of the extra machines. If you try to use a VM the only way that would work is if you rdp into the VM which I'm assuming
you don't want to do. If you hook two keyboard and mice to the same computer you will be fighting for control with the other keyboard and mouse. If this is a bigger project really the only solution without having two pc's to begin with is multiport server,
or a RDS server with thin clients.

Can several users post on the same blog (SLS 10.6.2)?

On Snow Leopard Server 10.6.2 a user (let's say user A, defined in open directory) can have it's own blog. Is there a way to allow another user (user B, defined in open directory) to post entries on user A's blog? Or can I setup a company's blog where serveral users belonging to one group are allowed to post on?

You have to setup a new wiki collaboration page, activate the blog function for that wiki (settings in the web interface, on the wiki home page).
Then you have to add users and/or groups that you want to give access to in the settings (also in the settings inside the wiki interface, once you have created the wiki).
You can also activate the group calendar for the new wiki, in the settings page, so that you get a web calendar for the wiki.

I'm interested in grooming to move some users data to a temporary folder.
As test was very concluding I planned to apply grooming rules to all our servers.
The the problem is that we have around 200 policies (group and user) managed by NSM.
Is there a way to configure grooming rules for all policies at once or perform a global grooming for a whole set of servers in directory ? As I really don't want to modify all policies manually ...

Are you using NSM 3.0 or NSM 2.5? This is currently not a feature, but we will add it to the list to be considered. There are a couple of possible things that could help, but we would need to know which version.

How to run several class files at the same time

I have four class files, there's: cvnt1.class,cvnt2.class,cvnt3.class and cvnt4.class.

Your question is still unclear - do you want to access code from those class files (just add all of them to classpath) or do you want to create number of threads or number of processes (one per class) and start code from each class simultaneously or something else?
