Several video transitions are missing in Premiere Pro CC 2014. Where are they?
I recently upgraded to Premiere Pro CC 2014 from Premiere Pro CC. I had been working on a project using several video transitions which were no longer available in Premier Pro CC 2104. I thought maybe they would show up in a later update, but so far I have not seen my video transitions including several zoom transitions and others. What happened?

Doesn´t Radilal Blur Video effect exist more in Premiere Pro CC 2014?
Hello everyone!
I am studying an Adobe Premiere Pro guide, it is based on an old version and, at one point he says to apply the radial blur effect video.
The problem is: This effect is not where it should be, or no longer exists. Can anyone tell if it still exists? It was replaced ?
If not, how to simulate the same effect? Since all existing blur options in CC version does not do anything like the Radial Blur.
Already,
Thank you to all !The project was very large. Connected to 5 TB of media on a server, not local, or ext. hd. I needed to "trim" the sequences to make them manageable to put on an Ext HD and mail around the world to different bureaus of our media company. I opened the project manager and trimmed the first sequence and it worked fine. All subsequent sequences ended in the same error. "Unknown error, please save and re-try." I tried changing the settings of the "trim" and nothing worked. I tried several different computer, still didn't work. I tried saving the trimmed sequences to different HD's, servers, local desktops, etc. Nothing worked. Same Unknown Error. I think it might have to do with audio that is in the sequence that is not being used in conjunction with the associated video. But, that is crazy. All sequences include this type of editing. But, the first sequence that worked didn't. SO, maybe that is it.
Please fix this problem because I still need to trim these sequences and I'm on a deadline of December 1, 2014!
Thank you,
Ben Dyer -
Premiere Pro CC 2014 imported video length mismatch
I've got a problem in Premiere Pro CC 2014 where the audio and video get out of sync the farther you go into the imported clip. While troubleshooting I noticed that Premiere isn't properly reading the video length of the imported file. Windows reports the right length, as do VLC and Handbrake, but Premiere shows a time about 30 seconds shorter than the real file. I've included the file info from MediaInfo and Premiere here. Windows reports a (correct) length of 1:56:39. This happens on two different Windows computers both running the latest release of Premiere Pro. Has anyone seen this? I've tried to search for similar issues but haven't found anything like this. Thanks!

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 has stopped working
Today I've encounter an issue with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 where it will crash on launch, with the error statement, Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.0 has stopped working. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers, with no avail. I was even connected to a tech support member who was helping me when the program crashed and now I can't reconnect with that member. I'm at a loss of what to do but any help would be greatly appreciated
My Computer specs are:
AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.00Ghz
8.00 GB Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 -driver GeForce 340.52 (7/29/2014)
Windows 7 64-bit.A variety of issues can cause PPRO to crash on launch. Here are some of them:
a problem with the Preferences, or some other pref-related file in the Profile-<USERNAME> bin.
the graphics driver
having an integrated graphics chip as well as a graphics card. Disabling the integrated chip often fixes this.
having Nvidia CUDA drivers installed on a system with an AMD card
third-party plug-ins
a problem with the cache files.
a problem with the project file (if you're loading a project...)
folders that Premiere writes to being set to read-only
the user not having administrator rights
a conflict/incompatibility with some OS setting
a problem on the licensing/authentication side.
A log file might help identify the cause of the crash. Please right-click 'My Computer', select "Manage," look under 'Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application' to see if there's an event there from Premiere Pro. If so, copy the contents of that log and paste them here. -
New document about sequence presets and codecs missing from Premiere Pro
If you're having problems with sequence presets and codecs missing from Premiere Pro, see this document for solutions for this activation issue.
This document relates to the following problems:
- missing sequence presets when creating a new sequence
- Encore error: "Encore will not launch in non-royalty bearing mode. The application needs to be serialized with a royalty bearing serial number."
- When opening a project in Premiere Pro: "Error Adobe Premiere Pro: This project contained a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type."
- When importing footage, the footage is missing audio or video.
These failures are all because Premiere Pro and Encore use some codecs that require activation before they can be used. If activation of these codecs has failed, these codecs will not be available to use.Well done.

Since installing Premiere Pro CC 2014 upgrade, Mac Pro jumpy video and freezes constantly
Since installing Premiere Pro CC 2014 upgrade, Mac Pro jumpy video and freezes constantly. Worked perfectly before. Anyone else finding these issues? I'm running a quad core Mac Pro, so it's definitely not the hardware.
I've maxed out the memory assignment, but this isn't a memory problem per se.
It looks like certain Premiere Pro conditions are associated with a huge increase in kernel_task memory, zeroing out any available free memory. In my case it seems to be associated with effects applied to titles or jpgs or imported psd (Photoshop) files.
Program restart pulls kernel memory back to the 1.3gb normal size.
Here's where I am at startup:

Premiere Pro CC 2014 Transitions
Hello all, I was using Adobe Master Collection CS5.5 until a few weeks ago when I bit the bullet and bought a CC 2014 subscription. I am absolutely loving the new software - very impressed!
I use Premiere Pro a lot and the first thing I noticed about Premiere Pro CC 2014 compared to CS5.5 was that CC 2014 has far fewer transitions - for example transitions such as the 'Stretch In' transition which were present in CS5.5 do not appear to present in CC 2014 anymore. There are many more too.
I installed Premiere Pro CS6 on my PC tonight alongside all of my CC 2014 stuff (I got it on my subscription) and I notice that CS6 has all of the transitions that I used in CS5.5. Is there any way to get the transitions from my newly-installed CS6 to work in CC 2014?
Thanks!OK, that answers my question thanks.
Yes, I had noticed that when I open up my old CS5.5 projects in CC 2014 the old transitions, such as the Stretch In transitions, are still there.
Was the original release of CC (2013) the final version of Premiere Pro to have all of the same transitions as CS6 and older? If so I may uninstall CS6 and use CC alongside CC 2014 since it's newer (just in case I need those transitions) or just live without those transitions. I'm on a 128GB SSD, so I'm a little pushed for space.
Thanks again!
**EDIT: To be honest, just to make my workflow smoother and to save some disk space I will probably end up removing Premiere Pro CS6 and living without those transitions - I'll take a view on it. I am very impressed with the new software as I've already said. This has been my only gripe with the whole suite! -
Can you capture video from the internet, using premiere pro cc?
trying to capture video from the internet, using premiere pro cc, is that possible?
also - it keeps saying "video capture offline" - any solutions for that?I am going to go out on a limb and say that while it may be against the YouTube terms of service to download or scrape a video off of their service, there are times that I really don't care since it is for my personal use. Providing myself or my wife with entertainment that she can watch or listen to on her smartphone while on an airplane, or in a car traveling down the road, just doesn't bother my moral compass. Doesn't make it twitch in the least.
Perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps I shouldn't do it. Tough. I do, and will continue to do so until the Google police come knocking on my door.
This is pretty much the same argument that they tried to kill the VCR with. The simple act of time shifting was something that was considered wrong, and illegal, until people came to their senses.
As for the editing capability, you might be surprised at the ways it is possible to download video that works just fine for what I use it for. Premiere Pro has no problems allowing me to edit out the parts I don't like, or just aren't funny, and the quality really doesn't suffer much at all.
Now, with the exception of something I did for my two year old Great Niece, I have never used any video that I have downloaded for anything except a tutorial, or in her case, a Sesame Street song I used when I shot video of me reading her the Sesame Street book that I purchased.
Would it be wrong to post downloaded video, intact or edited, for public consumption? Sure it would. No question about it.
But please do not assume that everyone downloading video from the Internet is doing so for nefarious purposes, and I promise not to assume everyone is a perfect angel and is following all the rules. -
Title Presets missing. Premiere Pro CS6
My title presets are missing in premiere pro, This occurs when I go to create a title and no presets are available. I have downloaded adobe encore CS6 fucntional content and Adobe Prtemire Pro CS6 Functional Content, as suggested by adobe and other forums. I just want title templates/preset to make workflow easier. I hope there is a simpel solution rather than a string of intricate procedures.
Hi Chris. We are looking into it and will update accordingly.

I'm having problem with exporting video from premiere pro cc 2014
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 and I'm having problem with exporting video.
When I click Export and media, the window for exporting appears and it starts exporting video.
But after a few minutes, it looks like it has completed exporting video and says there's a bug in exporting.
It literally says it has a problem with compiling, but I don't know what the real problem is.
I tried many things like restarting computer and Premire Pro but it's no use.
But it works when I use Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 for exporting video.
If anyone knows any possibilities about why this problem happens, please let me know.I'm having a similar issue. When I go to export my project, I add it to the render queue, set it up with the h.264 settings that I've used with countless past versions of the program, and then hit render. Randomly, at some point in the process, the render just stops and the ETA just keeps climbing. I actually had to save an XMF file of the CC 2014 project and bring it into the previous CC version of Premiere just to finish it. Even a clean re-install of CC 2014 doesn't work.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 Trial Version - Error when importing mts and mp4 video files
First time using Adobe Premiere Pro (and I'm using the trial version). When I try to import an mts video file (and tried to import an mp4 file as well), I get the error: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 has stopped working. And then the program crashes. Please help.
My computer specs: Windows 7 with Service Pack 1,Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.2GHz, RAM: 4.00 GB, System type: 64-bitHi Catherine,
Welcome to the Adobe forums.
Please try the steps mentioned below and check if it works for you.
1. Launch Premiere Pro and create a Project, go to File menu>Project Settings>Renderer and change the Renderer to Software only mode, delete previews if you get a prompt and then try to import the clip.
2. If step 1 fails or the Renderer is already on Software only mode, go to Start Menu and search for Device Manager, go into Display Adapters and Right click on the Graphics card to select Update driver software option, on the next screen choose "Browse my computer for driver software", then choose "Let me Pick from a list..." option and from the list select "Standard VGA Graphics adapters. You might need to change the screen resolution of your screen and once done restart the machine again.
Launch Premiere Pro and import the clip to check.

Hello,
I have been working with long sequences in adobe premiere pro cc 2014. All of sudden, I see white flicker in the program monitor and rendered output too. The flicker does not follow any pattern. It is very random.
How to work around on this?
Regards
Naveen AlleConcurrently working on the same project it requires a specific implementation in all editing programs like Avid's Unity/ ISIS shared storage. That's what you are simply not considering. none of your issues would be any problem if your projects resided on a commonly accessed server or something like that. Check respective hardware solutions.

Premiere Pro CC 2014 renders are painfully slow.
Running CC 2014 on a brand new iMac: 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB.
I have a 2.5 minute timeline with many dynamic link clips back to simple After Effects CC 2014 comps. Rendering in this timeline is MIND-BOGGLINGLY slow.
Video Rendering and Playback Renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Accelerated (CUDA)
And in Preferences > Memory> I have optimized rendering for "Performance".
My Sequence is using Apple Pro Res 422 as my video preview codec with Maximum Bit Depth and Render Quality selected.
Renders should be screaming.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Have I done something stupid in my set up?Hi Kevin. Thanks for response. Yes, acceleration is enabled. Not CUDA as I'm running on a ATI Radeon HD 5870. See screenshot below.
Also have a thread specific to my issue here: Dramatically slower encode/render times from Premiere Pro CC 2014 via both AME 2014 and direct export via PP
If you get a chance to look through it, I'd appreciate it very much.
Thanks!
Martin
