Severe screen flickering in Warcraft 3

I installed it, renamed the movies folder as well. However, when I run the game, I get severe screen flickering, to the extent that the game menu is visible once every 4-5 seconds. Any thoughts on how to solve this?
Since I cannot use the menu because of the flickering, I have to kill the game from terminal. However, upon exiting, my desktop's resolution and colours change, till I reboot. I tried running the game under a desktop emulation in wine, but that doesn't seem to help either. The emulated desktop doesn't flicker, but the game does.

Aside from the potential SLI issue, you might want to study your Logitech mouse driver.
Going back a bit, several versions of the MS InteliPoint mouse driver caused just what you describe. I have not heard of this with Logitech, but did have some other issues with their SetPoint drivers. In my case, I ditched their keyboard, but kept the mouse (love it), and did away with SetPoint, using the generic driver. All functions that I needed were handled, and SetPoint was out of the equation.
Something else to look at, and good luck,

  • MacBook Pro screen flickers and freezes after Snow Leopard/Safari 5 updates

    Hi guys,
I have a silver 120GB 15-inch MacBook Pro from Summer 2007 with 3GB RAM and 25+GB free space which has recently begun to freeze irrecoverably. The first appearance of these symptoms seems to coincide with my installing the Snow Leopard 10.6.6 update via Software Update.
I'm not particularly well versed in computer technology, but will try to describe my problem as detailedly as possible.
    What happens is this:
    1. I start the computer as per usual, with only a couple of startup items. Everything's fine.
    2. I start working. Use a lot of Safari 5 for browsing websites, often with some kind of Flash or "Flash-type" content such as banner ads, videos, even full Flash designs. I may also have programs such as QuickTime, VLC or an image editor open, if not necessarily "actively" doing anything. Everything's still fine - I'm able to both browse websites and watch videos as usual.
    3. After a while of active working - say, 1-3 hours - I notice browsing websites gets a little choppy. Display features such as the file list view in Finder may or may not appear properly. The rotating wait cursor may or may not appear from time to time.
    4. Immediately after symptom no. 3, the next time I start to watch a video, either via Safari 5 (say for example something on DailyMotion.com) or a file via QuickTime, something goes wrong.
Following no. 4, one of three things invariably happen:
5a) The video freezes and the entire screen flickers from black to the screen view very quickly two or three times, after which the computer or screen appears to freeze. The cursor still moves, but nothing reacts to it - open windows become completely unresponsive, nor does the top or any other menu react in any way to clicking. The "menu row" of application items, which normally appears when I move the cursor to the very bottom of the screen, doesn't appear. Restarting "blindly" by pressing the Off-button once and pressing R doesn't work. I'm forced to do a hard reboot, after which the computer is once again fine until the next two hours of active working. This usually happens ONLY when I try to watch a video in Full Screen-mode.
5b) I notice the video freezing only just in time, and am able to pause it and "esc" out of Full Screen-mode, and the computer remains operational. However, as soon as I again try to play video in Full Screen-mode, everything described in 5a. happens.
5c) The video stops playing, and the screen reverts momentarily to pale blue before switching to the login screen. I login again with my details, and everything appears to be fine again until the next two hours of active working. The computer "starts up" a lot faster than with a hard reboot. This usually happens ONLY when I've tried to watch a video in its original size, i.e. when not in Full Screen-mode.
This happens 1-4 times a day, and it appears to depend directly on how much work I've been doing on the computer. The less I use it in the course of a day, the longer it takes until the next time it freezes.
So, in a way, I'm able to replicate this problem. 95% of the time the screen has frozen while watching or starting to watch (usually already when starting to watch) video footage, but it has also frozen a couple of times just switching between e.g. Safari 5 and an image editor or browsing a website with a Flash banner ad or embedded video content (which however hasn't necessarily been playing); today, the screen froze when I tried to open a website made entirely with Flash.
Although it could be just a coincidence, I believe this issue first appeared when I updated Snow Leopard to 10.6.6 via Software Update alongside some other pending updates, including as far as I recall one for Safari 5. The update process appeared to have gone well at the time, though, and was not interrupted in any way. I have never had this specific problem with the computer/screen before, though.
I've read a couple of threads here regarding very similar issues with newer MBP models than mine, in which it has been suggested that the fault may lie in a malfunctioning NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. Now I've had that replaced already once because my screen went unexpectedly completely blank after a forced reboot 1-2 years ago (I don't remember exactly), but according to my System Profiler info the card still a GeForce 8600M GT. Can it be failing again?
I've also had some kind of a RAM card failure once. As far as I understood it, one of the RAM cards had fried and was preventing the computer from starting up. I replaced the bad 1GB card with a new 2GB one and the problem was resolved. Before the computer died, there were also other symptoms, but they were not similar to these.
I'm also doing the Apple Hardware Test tomorrow. Any other suggestions, though, than the graphics card?
*Could this have to do with Flash or Safari 5?* Just hear me out. Even though my computer has frozen from watching a video in just QuickTime, Safari 5 has always been open in the background at the same time, and more likely than not with websites with "Flash" content open. And come to think of it, before I performed the Snow Leopard and Safari 5 updates, I used to have daily problems viewing Flash video in Safari 5, the video content either suddenly showing up as "Plug-in Failure" or crashing the browser; I've had both Safari 5 and the Safari 5 Flash plug-in "quit unexpectedly" countless times in the past, almost daily. Sometimes the "Plug-in Failure" could be fixed just by refreshing the browser view; at other times, Safari 5 would stop showing Flash content altogether - Flash banner ads (such as Google ads), YouTube and other Flash videos, everything - until I quit and restarted Safari 5. BUT - since the day I updated everything via Software Update, I don't remember this happening; it never gets to "Plug-in Failure" now. Could it be worth trying to use e.g. just Firefox for a while or is there something (e.g. Adobe Flash) that I could try reinstall? Or am I just clutching at straws here?
Thanks for reading this long, long post!

Do you have access to an Apple Store? If so, it may be worth making an appointment at the genius bar and having them run the test for the NVIDIA problem. Since your replacement logic board still has the NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT video chip, it could be starting to happen to your replacement logic board.
I also agree with all of CMCSK's suggestions. Freezing is often associated with hard drive problems. You might also want to run SMART Utility:
    http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/systemdiskutilities/smartutility.html
You can download the demo and run it several times for free. It will give you a very comprehensive view of the physical health of your hard drive. If you still have the original one from 2007, it's getting pretty long in the tooth and may be approaching the end of its average useful life of 3-5 years. I just recently had to replace my original 2007 Fujitsu drive.
If your drive is headed south, and is also too small, it may be time to upgrade to a larger and faster drive.
The software update probably didn't cause the problems, but it may have exposed problems that were already in existence.
    Good luck!

  • Photoshop CS6 - Screen flickering when using brushes with new MacAir 2013

Would the Adobe team please respond to the issues reported by several users:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/5449199
A number of users experience severe screen flicker in Photoshop CS6 when using any of the larger brush type tools (cloning, eraser, brush, spot healing, burning, and dodging).  As many on this thread are experiencing, it is awfull and unusable! The flicker is screen wide black boxes, sometimes the whole screen goes black.  It only seems to happen when we put the cursor over the image to edit.
Hardware:  MacBook Air 13", Haswell 1.7 GHz, 8GB, 512 SSD Software:
    Photoshop CS6 v13.1.2 20130105.r.224, OS X v10.8.4 (and perhaps others)
Looks like a CS6 is not compatible with teh new MacAir. Please look into this and advise.

    An update:
I went to the Apple store and brought myself a more recent MacBook Air (13", 4/256 FYI, they were out of the 8/512 model).    I can't reproduce *exactly* what you're showing, but got the flicker to happen by resizing the cursor.    Also, while painting, the screen seems to stop updating except for the cursor -- not only is Photoshop unable to draw, but other applications stop drawing as well.  And a few times it hasn't even updated the cursor (while all other apps seem frozen).  That's not normal.
When I see the flickering, I frequently see the menubar and other UI elements draw at the wrong location on the LCD, then black, then redraw in the correct location -- repeat in different positions and lots of "static" until I stop changing the cursor.  That's more evidence of a hardware or and odd driver issue.  The odd thing is: it doesn't happen all the time.  It's possible that the one we have at the office also shows the problem, but we didn't test long enough.
I'm trying to reach out to my hardware contacts at Apple - but it's a weekend before a holiday, so we may not make progress immediately.
One thing that would be useful here: the model of MacBook Air that you have that shows (or doesn't show) the problem.

  • Screen flickers when using magnetic lasso

    Hello,
First I want to say that my english is kinda crappy so, sorry for that.
My problem is, when i'm  drawing a line with the magnetic lasso tool, after a few seconds the screen flickers one time and my line is a selection.
Same with the color picker, when I hold my left mouse button to choose a color it flickers and is "Not responding".
    I'm using CS4 and Windows 7
I hope someone can help me
    Thank you

There were several issues with mostly the MS InteliPoint drivers, but also some of the Logitec SetPoint drivers, causing just such behavior in Adobe programs' GUI. In those cases, just removing either the InteliPoint, or SetPoint drivers, as has been mentioned, cleared things up. Going back about two years, I'd guess that three releases of the InteliPoint drivers did this horribly. It seemed to have been fixed with later releases, but recently showed back up in both the PrPro and AfterEffects fora.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
PS - was going to make a joke that it was the "magnet" in the Magnetic Lasso, messing with the monitor, but thought better of it. Would not have been funny anyway...

  • Screen Flickering in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and CS4

I experience screen flickering in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and CS4 when I move my mouse around on the screen. Basically any mouse movement will create flickering. The more and faster I move my mouse the more flickering occurs.
    System Specs
    - Windows 7 64bit Ultimate
    - Intel i7 3.2GHz Extreme
    - ASUS Rampage II Extreme Mobo
    - Corsair Dominator 6GB 1866MHz (Triple Channel)
    - Dual eVGA Nvidia GTX 285 Superclocked Graphics Cards in SLI
    - Dual 60GB OCZ Vertex Series SDDs in RAID0
    - Corsair 1000Watt PSU
    - CPU and both GPUs are water cooled
    - Logitech G-15 Keyboard
    - Logitech G-9 Mouse
    - ASUS 26" LCD VK266H monitor (1920x1200 @ 60Hz) DVI
    - I have the latest BIOS and all of the most up-to-date drivers installed for every piece of hardware.
I have photoshop set to use the maximum allowable amount of memory. The memory slider in photoshop maxes out at 3.25GB which equates to about 50% of my total system memory.
The screen flickering does not occur in any other application or game, only in Photoshop. I have tried every possible Nvidia Control Panel setting for this application, and nothing seems to have an effect on the flicker.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem, or any recommendations?

  • MacOS X 10.7.5 screen flickers in black and freezes for 2 minutes

Recently noticed a problem - in Finder, column view (this is important) if I select a pdf file (noticed only for pdf) screen flickers quickly several times in black color and the whole system freezes (except mouse cursor) for 2 minutes (I've measured with timer). After that, everything goes normally, file preview is displayed on the right side in Finder window as it is expected to be and file can be normally opened with Preview app.
Can anyone suggest on this? Where should I start looking to for more information (any logs)?
I have MBP late 2008 aluminium unibody with 4GB RAM, 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo.

  • 100 % of the screen FLICKERING

Hi, there. I have searched this forum (and others) and still I don't know what to do. There's a very interesting thread about one third of the screen flickering, and there's another one about heating problems with laptops issues, but still no solution (if there's going to be any).
Well, my Powerbook G4, 17", 1GHz, 1 GB, OS 10.4.0 (i reinstalled it, erasing the internal harddrive, starting from scratch, but when the problem first occurred I was using 10.4.3) started suddenly to show a very annoying and flickering image on its full screen. There were black and perhaps other color lines, moving all around on a blue background, but covering the whole screen, and impossible to see anything on the screen, at all. It was like a VHS with a dirty or damaged head drum (sort of).
I took it to an authorized service provider and they said they couldn't tell, because they were not prepared for repairing my case there so they needed to send it to an Apple Central Service or something, which might cost me an starting $150 just for checking what's wrong, and then, as they almost believe the problem was, $1500 for changing the internal screen, and who knows how much more if the logic board is also damaged, although according to their preliminary test it wasn't a logic board issue, because - they said - an external monitor could be used, but not the internal one.
So, I would like to know what's really going on, to consider my options, because spending a starting amount of $1650 on this machine is insane.
I performed the hardware test (using version 2.0.1 from my original OS-Jaguar installer DVD) and everything passed, including logic board, I mean, everything that is tested. I performed the extended test.
When this flickering image is present I can hook up an external monitor and the external one looks OK, with the usual aqua blue Mac OS background, and I can notice the pointer moving in its area with the mouse while the main screen is flickering like crazy, but as the default connection is in extended format, I can't have access to System preferences/displays to set displays to mirror and perhaps use my laptop as a desktop, which is one of the options I am considering for trying to extend a little bit the life of this very expensive and now perhaps useless investment. Of course, I should have paid for the extended warranty, I know, but it's too late now.
The last time this problem happened, yesterday, I just put down the screen and closed the laptop, leaving it in sleep mode for a few hours, when I opened it again, the screen flickered in the same manner for a few seconds, but then went back to normal, and remained OK during the whole hardware test.
Any Mac guru who might send some light here?
    Thanks

    Alejandro --
You're absolutely correct -- when I wiped the dust away with my hand, it moved the display module on its hinges just enough to restore continuity. It has since happened several times, and moving the display module just the smallest bit brings the screen back immediately. Clearly, it's an intermittent in the flex cable that connects the logic board to the display module. That flex cable passes through one of the display module's hinges (the left one, I believe), which is covered by what Apple calls a "clutch cover" (Apple P/N 922-4635).
Apparently, the flex cable only flexes so many times before one or more of the flat signal leads in the flex cable breaks. Because the plastic (Kapton?) flex cable matrix in which the leads are encapsulated holds the broken ends of the lead very firmly, some positions of the hinged display module bring the broken ends in contact with each other, and the display is immediately activated.
Though I'm sure Apple Care, your local ASP, and the Apple Store all want to sell you either a logic board or a new display module -- both of which are staggeringly expensive -- there's absolutely nothing wrong with the logic board OR the display module. I don't think it's a coincidence or oversight that Apple's .pdf docs -- the ones available to mere consumers, anyway -- showing exploded views of the PBG4 show NO separate part number for the combination flex cable and socket that you can see in these documents attached to the left-side hinge of the display module.
I'd love to hear Apple's justification for trying to make their customers -- who show their loyalty by paying the highest prices in the industry, $3000.00+ for my fully-loaded PBG4 with SuperDrive (which also failed about 14 months after it was built, BTW) -- spring LARGE money for a new logic board or display module when what you need is a $10.00 cable.
Now WHY do you think Apple would do that? They constantly harmonize about how much they value and respect their loyal customers -- I've used Macs exclusively since 1989 -- but when problems arise, Apple IS right behind you -- attempting to pick your pocket.
I've owned many Macs, from a new IIci, through the PowerMacs, a blue & white G3, and now the PBG4. I've never had a major component, hardware, or logic board failure on any of them... until now. When my SuperDrive failed, I went through Apple, my laughable ASP, and the Apple store. They quoted me prices ranging from $800.00 to $1500.00. I ended up going to PowerBook ResQ, who picked up my PB on a Tuesday and had it back in my hands two days later; new SuperDrive, shipping both ways, and the shortest possible downtime, all for less than $300.00.
If an independent ASP can do it, why can't Apple, with their greater resources?
Don't even mention AppleCare, which besides being nothing other than a cash cow fed by the insecurities of non-techie buyers, is perhaps the slowest service provider in the known universe.
Am I angry? You bet. I could have bought two or three equally-competent PC laptops for the price I paid for my PBG4, and because the computer hardware world is 80% PC, there's real competition for service. But to do that, I'd have to live with Windows -- the world's largest computer-related scam -- or fiddle-dee-dee around with Linux, which I simply don't have the time for.
Apple knows it's got its customers trapped, and, not content with the ridiculous prices they charge for what is increasingly sub-standard hardware, they take every financial advantage out of those trapped customers that they possibly can.
If anyone knows where I can get a replacement logic board to display module cable, I'd be delighted to hear about it.

  • Notification Center slow, red flash, general slowness and screen flickering

    Hi!
I'm experiencing strange bugs since several days on my MacPro.
When opening the Notification Center, the background of the center flashes red, and it opens very jerky and slowly. Sometimes it just closes again.
In general the computer is slowed down, when watching flash video for example, and screen flickering and tearing occurs when scrolling trough folders or webpages.
Has anyone experienced this before? I'm kind of suspecting the graphics card for the screen tearing, but the dehaviour of the notification center surprises me.
    Best,
    Paul

  • 10.6.5 and screen flickering on MacBook Pro Mid 2010

Ever since i got my 15" laptop (about 2 months ago) i would get screen flickering on external monitor once in a while (once or twice an hour). This did not bother me that much and i just accepted it. Flickering issues always happened only on external monitor. I keep my laptop closed, so internal display is off.
10.6.5 upgrade escalated this issue from one or two an hour to one flicker every few seconds. This is annoying. Very annoying.
I tried to delete all caches (user, library, system), reset PRAM, re-applied 10.6.5 combo update, repair permissions and delete windowserver preferences (user and library). Nothing helped. Unchecking "Automatic graphics switching" makes no difference.
The only thing that made a difference was to open the lid. Once i have both (external and internal) working, flickering stops.
Any ideas on other troubleshooting things to try?

I have quiet similar problem as described but it is on my macbooks screen. It blinks while I am working and sometimes blinks instead of dimming the display. It also flickers at 40% to 50% brightness while going dim, which camera won't capture.
I am sending you links to the two videos I was able to make, most of the time it won't blink when I video it.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRP0I4VgQZY
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5gdqY0ONyA
Lucky to have some proof. But Apple guys still denying it to be a problem at this stage, I have got its display changed twice and logic board replaced. But the problem persists.
Help! me to understand and explain the issue.

  • TS3232 I have the mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter firmware 1.03 and I still have screen flickering issues

I have the mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter firmware 1.03 and I still have massive screen flickering issues on a Mac Mini 2012.
I am using a Dell 30" monitor (it's the Samsung screen just rebranded) connected to a WD 4TB Thunderbolt drive connected to the Mac Mini.
The screen is usable for the most part when I've just started the computer (although today I started having issues after a fresh restart) but if even just the screen goes to sleep, or the computer goes to sleep and I wake it later, I start to have massive flickering to black and occasionally to snow.
The effect seems to be more likely to arise when I'm on heavy graphics-intensive websites or programs (eg, Tumblr feed with lots of GIF images or working in Adobe Premiere), but once it starts shutting down those programs has no effect, the screen keeps flickering wildly.
The problem improved after the 1.03 firmware upgrade (for a while it was flickering uncontrollably ALL the time and was virtually unusable) but it has not gone away.
Any suggestions would be very welcome, either for how to fix this issue or how to get Apple to, you know, let me TELL THEM that their adapter firmware fix has NOT solved the issue, since my phone support has expired. :/

I have a new Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter to allow my original Apple 30" Cinema Display to connect to the new Mac Pro.  Shipped straight from Apple, it is firmware version 1.03.  I've never had flickering issues, but the display will often go black (possibly after a screen power save) and not come back.  when this happens I am still able to connect to and use the Mac via remote connection.  But the only way to get the screen back is either to unplug the adapter and plug it back in to the Mac, or to shut down and power up the Mac.  This may be a separate issue, so I'll also post it standalone...

  • [solved] after kernel upgrade screen flickering in gdm

    Hi,
after the recent kernel-upgrade to 4.0.1-1-ARCH i have an ugly behavior. The bottom half of my screen flickers while on gdm. After login to gnome everything is normal and I have no problems. But in gdm the screen is flickering which is really annoying. I never had this behavior before. My laptop has such an hybrid graphics stack with intel and ati. Here are some logfiles but I cant find anything suspicious. Has anyone any idea what could be the cause of this behavior or which logfile to log into?
    greetings

It happens to me as well but in xfce4 or openbox rather than on a display manager because I start X from `~/.bash_profile` upon login on tty1. If I logout and login again the problem goes away until I restart the system again.
EDIT: Upgrading to linux 4.0.5-1 did not solve the issue.

  • When I open Mail the screen flickers random blue and gray appeared on the screen. I took a video too. Will that happen again? Is it hardware problem? This ipad2 32GB was replaced yesterday and I think it is refurbished. Are replace product refurbished?

I got my ipad2 replaced yesterday. And this new ipad started giving me problem by crashing aps. Then I restored the ipad twice but the problem was still there. I called apple and they fixed it by doing Reset All Settings. But now I have this weird problem. When I open Mail the screen flickers random blue and gray appeared on the screen. I took a video too. Will that happen again? Is it hardware problem? This ipad2 32GB was replaced yesterday and I think it is refurbished. Are replace product refurbished?

There is no way for anyone here to know if your replacement iPad is a refurbished unit.  Per Apple's replacement policy, replacements can be refurbished units.  If you feel the unit is not working correctly, take it back, let them check it out and if found defective, they will replace that unit.

  • My screen flickers in Safari MacBook Pro Retina 2012

My screen flickers in a totally random fashion and only in Safari when I am on the internet. It happens more or less on certain web pages and not very often, but it is very annoying when it does happen. My machine is a Macbook Pro Retina 15" late 2012 release. I have seen other posts on this issue dating back to 2012, however, there were not solutions submitted leaving me to believe that there is no solution or I may have missed it. People with the same problem say they have taken in their laptops to have them replaced by Apple only to find out their problem still exists, leading many to believe it's likely to be a software issue. Anyone have any ideas or answers to this issue?

    Hey dhaynes3818,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with Safari on your MacBook Pro. To troubleshoot these issues, lets follow the steps in this article:
Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues - Apple Support

  • IMac 21" late 09: Slow, screen flickering/tearing and odd behavior - the problem that puzzles everyone

    PLEASE HELP!
My iMac 21" late -09, started acting a bit wierd a year ago. Things got worse rapidly, it got slower, the screen flickers/tears (see link below), short moments of lost internet connection, lost connection whit the keyboard (might be keyboard that is broken), almost overheats when gaming and odd behavior on some webbsites whit galleries and/or videos.
Let's begin whit the screen: it's not vertikal lines or major distortions, just a subtle horisontal line that "wanders" from bottom to topp and some lagging from time to time. Looks like this: http://cl.ly/3i2W2o3S1D2T
The wierd thing is that hi-res does not mean more "tearing". Yes the lagg and risk of tearing increases, but the connection seems to be: lots of movement=tearing. So a pixeld 240p video of people dancing can be way worse than a news debbate in1080p!?!
Lost connection whit internet and keyboard rarely happens and is probably due to something else, but thought that was good to have in mind.
Odd behavior: galleries ex: when browsing images on Facebook in fullscreen, the image sometimes jumps around in the beginning and when clicking on next the same picture might appear again or just nothing at all. When scrolling down overwiewing a gallery, the updating stops and you can't scroll down further. This problem appers mainly on FB, deviantart also acts a bit wierd but there is often small issues whit image sites. Doesn't help to switch browsers either!
Videos: Youtube is horrible to use, stops loading, dosen't start loading, erases everything loaded (grey bar disapears and reloads), refuse to switch ressolution and suddenly stops the video like it was done! "ehh.. wasn't this 2min long? Not anymore, now its 34sec!". Mainly a Youtube problem but many similar sites can be a bit problematic to use.
NO, it's not the HTML-5 problem or any standard flash issue and using a different browser dosen't help!
Worst is the fact that most of these errors are not constant! One day your watching youtube or mabey a movie in VLC, a bit laggy, but almost no problem. Next day **** brakes lose and after 2hours of struggling you are ready to stabb yourself in the face!
What i tried: Most easy buggfixes that might cause the above problems, updating most things, Switched from OS X SL to OS X ML, complete reinstall and some things i probably forgot by now. Then went to MacStore for repair, they didn't find anything wrong and said it worked fine after the standard diagnostic/repair program!?! Went home and everything was the same! Went a second time to MacStore, same result.
So I'v reinstalled a few times and it seems to improve the Mac. But 2-3weeks later every error is back, even if I barely installed or downloaded anything!?!
Any idea what this could be? Or is the graphic card broken and MacStore has a blind, inbred muppet as a technician?

No I didn't. The first time i explained the problem thoroughly and thought that they just couldn't miss such a visual error. I was wrong. The second time the technician wasn't there so i showed the above clip to the salesstaff and explained everything onceagain. Later the technician called me and we talked for 10min.
Btw, the problems always "manifests themselves", just varies between strenght and frequence.
But all other issues aside, what could cause the tearing of the screen as seen int the above clip?
