SFTP adapter not listed in adapter types in ID of PI 7.4

Hi,
I am working on one interface, where I should use SFTP in SAP PO 7.4 version. But I couldn't see the SFTP adapter in list of adapters in CC. Then I requested the basis guys to install the SFTP PGP add on.
Even after installation of SFTP PGP add-on also I am not able to see SFTP adapter in CC.
I followed the steps to check the SFTP PGP Add-on installation, it was installed and the sftp java components are started.
If any one of you faced this kind of problem please throw some inputs.

Have you checked whether the JMS drivers are installed on XI or not?

Not listing all adapter egines in CIM after J2EE restart

Dear all,
i have utlized note 764176 - Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD entries.
I have done the steps which are stated in the note. One of them being restarting the J2EE server.
After restarting the J2EE server it registers and makes some entries in the CIM. For example the Adapterframework for the system. However, it only enters the XI adapter as an Adapter Service in the CIM.
None of the other services are listed.
Any suggestions?
I am able to see the rest, i.e. Integration Server etc.
Can you please help

Jpr adapter not showing in adapter type while creating communication channe

Hi all,
I got error in JPR adapter type.Due to that its displaying in adapter type while creating communication channel.I checked in RWB in communication channel monitoring its showing
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for EXI.SystemHome.hexsap found
No access to get JPR configuration
How to solve this issue,

File Adapter not showing in Adapter Monitoring

New computer ff install not listing all file types under tools-options-applications

New windows installation on another with the same version of ff (10.0.2). Clicking local .pls files in this machine gives option to launch VLC media player but on other computer just text appears.
The extension appears in the applications tab after clicking tools and options on this computer, but the list is far shorter on the other machine and does not include this extension. Is this rectified by installing a plugin? If so which one?

The issue isn't that VLC isn't playing the files- it is... but linking to the files saved on my system does not launch VLC from Firefox on the other computer like it does on this one. I've actually been able to add to the applications list. Technically I can run the same apps and associations on both machines except that Firefox isn't handling the ".pls" files at all with the other machine
I've saved a directory structure with .pls files to different streaming radio stations and the directory is linked to from Firefox on both computers... identical directories and files stored. When I bring up one of the folders in this machine and click on the file, I first get the same dialog as you attached- I launch VLC by selecting "Open with" then clicking OK. The radio station plays. I've set it to change stations when I click within the iframe without having to go to VLC and use the open media feature- it does the trick with a single click from Firefox,
The other machine when I click the file the iframe in which the directory was displayed shows text information (urls and other arcane digital nonsense) as though the file were a text file. Both machines have similar installations.... I do not want to overload on the other machine- it's my communications backup but I would like this arrangement to work as it does on this computer.
Again, the biggest hint I see is the absence of the ".pls" file type in the list under the "applications" tab after clicking "Tools"-"Options" in Firefox on the machine in question.
Can something be done either by transplanting missing files from one machine to the next or from about:config to induce the desirable result from the other machine in Firefox?

SOAP Adapter not working. But no error messages. Just a warning!!!!

I have created a simple scenario.
I am getting an Input from outside world using SOAP Adapter.
Then using a ZBAPI (RFC adapter) I am inserting a data to a ZTABLE.
To test the SOAP Adapter, I have entered the PAY LOAD (in XML format) from Runtime WorkBenches
Test Message TAB.
I have used exactly once, Best Effort etc., and have tried Sending the message.
It says Message sent but the database is not getting updated with the new value.
I have already tried it with FileAdapter as the input method and ZBAPI that I have created is working fine.
When I tried looking at the RuntimeWorkBenche's communication channel's area, it says my SOAP Adapter is inactive. I have double checked and it is ACTIVE and also activated properly
Any ideas?

This holds true for testing receiver adapter not for sender adapter.main work of sender adapter is to pick up the message in any format and convert it to XML and post to Integration engine,since in RWB->Integration engine you are already posting XML message you have basically done the job of sender adapter by yourself hence no need of sender adapter there.

L-Type Adapter Not Recognising MBA 2011, vice versa

I'll just cut straight to the chase, no filler:
Problem: MBA (Mid-2011) is not recognizing an L-Type MagSafe and vice versa - the LED is not turning on, the battery is not charging, and coconutBattery is not detecting an adapter.
Connector and port checked of any obstructive debris, none as far as I can tell.
Outlet is working and voltage double checked.
Warming up adapter had no effect.
Cooling down adapter had no effect.
Waiting 10 minutes unplugged had no effect.
All pins are in the proper state (not pressed).
AHT yielded no errors.
Multiple SMC resets had no effect.
coconutBattery says that no adapter was detected (which makes the last two points moot).
Sense pin appears to be fine.
Sense pin receiver appears to be fine.
No outward signs of corrosion on the pins or the connectors.
The only thing that seems out of the ordinary is a bit of the rubber molding around the connectors seems to have chipped off (circled) I'm still unsure as to how this would be able to affect the charging capabilities to such a great degree, but it's the only thing I can blame at the moment.
Question: Is there anything else I can do? Will I have to replace anything? If so, how much will it cost?
The warranty on the MBA has been expired for a while now.

Your description and testing is so thorough it's hard to come up with any other scenario,s but here are my attempts to help isolate the issue:
- Is there any visible damage on the rest of the cable, du has crimpsI got etc.?
- Is the plug on the other end of the cable OK?
- Have you double-checked that the wall chargeris working OK?
If everything else fails, make an appointment and bring your equipment to an Apple Genius For a checkup.

MDM PI Adapter not visible

Communication Channel not getting any adapter

I am getting this error when i goto the ID and refresh the cache, but when i goto the SXI_CACHE it shows me the green light.
Unable to determine the name of the central Adapter Engine from the System Landscape Directory at this time. Notifications to the central Adapter Engine are therefore listed using the technical name of the Adapter Engine. This is usually structured as follows: af.<SAP System ID>.<Name of application server>
I am not getting any adapter in Communication Channel also getting java.LangNullPointer Error.
can somebody please help me as quickly as possible.
If possible can somebody please reply me the post installation of XI with complete screen shots.

               we have upgraded from SP14 to Sp17 for our XI.
Unfortunately, we were unable to view the adapters provided by SAP in Runtime work bench.

Hi Chandra,
This may be because of inconsistencies in SLD. Please check OSS note 764176 for this. it has listed out a number of possible solutions for this issue. I have pasted them below. However I would recommend reading the entire OSS notes.
Solution steps:
1. In the SLD editing interface, choose "Administration" -> "Content Maintenance". Select "XI Integration Server" from the drop-down menu, and navigate to the associations of the integration server. Select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association and delete the association by choosing 'Remove'.
2. Switch to "Home" in the "Technical Landscape" view, and select the "Exchange Infrastructure" technical system type there. Select all domains and XI components for the host and delete these by selecting them and pressing 'Remove'.
3. Restart the J2EE server. After you restart the server, the XI components log on to the SLD again and create a new entity of class "XI Integration Server".
4. To register the directory and repository again, you must also log on to the two tools.
5. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether all XI components are logged on correctly (Adapter Engine, Integration Directory, Integration Repository, Integration Server and Runtime Workbench/RWB). The Adapter Engine components may be missing. If so, stop and restart in the J2EE Visual Admin --> Server --> Services, and deploy application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.cpa.app.
6. Change again to the administration interface --> content maintenance for the associations of the XI Integration Server.
               Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Sub-System viewed Application System" association type here, and in the next step choose the BC system for the Integration Server. Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
               Create a new association by pressing the 'New Association' button, select the "XI Integration Server Logical Identity" association type here, and in the next step choose the business system for the Integration Server. Save the association by choosing 'Associate'.
7. In the "Technical Landscape" --> Technical System Type "Exchange Infrastructure" view, check whether the assignment to the application system is also displayed there (the business system in which the Integration Server is running should appear in the "Application System" column for the Integration Server).
8. To make the changed associations known in the directory, the SLD temporary storage must be deleted in the directory. To do this, log on to the Integration Directory and choose 'Environment --> Delete temporary storage areas for SLD data'.

Just boot camped mid-2012 MBP using Apple's BootCamp 5.1.5621. However, no wireless adapter is listed in device manager

[In Windows 8.1] When I access the Device Manager, it does not list my wireless adapter as one of the devices available. I have attempted to manually install the drivers from the BootCamp 5.1.5621 file.
I've spent several hours attempting to remedy this but have only found threads explaining how to solve the problem if the 802 adapter is already listed in the device manager.

I recently had some BT issue's in Win8 so I wrote a topic about this subject. Maybe you need to replace the Broadcom drivers as well.

Sender file adapter not polling the file

hi all,
i have configured a filexifile scenario....
but the file sender adapter is not polling the file at all....
i dont c any message either in RWB or in SXMB_MONI
i checked the adapter framework url at http://<ximachine>;<port>/AdapterFramework....and the status for the file adapter is green...
but the message it gives there is

y is the sender adapter not polling the file..

There is probably something wrong with the File Adapter. You will need to go to the RunTime Workbench >> Component Monitoring >> Display >> Click on the Adapter Engine >> More information will display and click on the button 'Adapter Monitoring' >> A new window will display and click on the arrow next to your adapter engine. This displays a list of adapters running on your system. Green light means good; Red, you have a configuration problem. Look at the error and try and resolve it.

Sender File Adapter Not Showing in Decentral Adapter Engine

We have recently implemented a Decentral Adapter Engine on a windows box. The adapter engine seems to be working fine because my adapters show and seem to work fine in it.
However, when I define a Sender File Adapter that uses File Content Conversion message protocol instead of just File messaeg protocol, the adapter does not show up in the decentral adapter engine.
I made sure that Adapter Engine parameter in the Sender File Adapter shows the new adapter engine but that does not seem to be working. If change the Adapter Enginer parameter to show the Central Adapter Engine, then I can see the Sender File Adapter on the Central Adapter engine and it works fine. (Note: The Central Adapter Engine is installed on a Unix box)

If the File Adapter works without conversion, then you should count the number of fields in a row. If it differs from the configuration, then it runs on error.
Another idea is to check the content type of the file. When you do not enter a File Encoding, then the file adapter assumes utf-8. If the file is for example latin-1, then the number of characters in a row are not counted correctly.

Reciever adapter not working

Hi all,
I am developing the scenario described in the link
/people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2005/06/09/walkthrough-with-bpm
The sender adapter picks up the input file called xi_input.xml from path D:\usr\sap\trans\tmp\send
And receiver adapter has to put the output file xi_output.xml,which is a replica of the input file, in the path D:\usr\sap\trans\tmp\receive.
In adapter monitoring for file adapter, the sender adapter gives the msg:
Sender Adapter v1014 for Party '', Service 'FileBpm_bs':
Configured at 15:04:22 2006-05-23
Up and running: Last message processing started 15:19:22 2006-05-23
last poll interval started 15:23:22 2006-05-23
length 60,000 secs
But in message monitoring no msgs can be seen and even the reciever adapter shows the msg:
Receiver Adapter v1027 for Party '', Service 'FileBpm_bs':
Configured at 15:23:36 2006-05-23
Up and running - no message processing until now
On placing the xml file in the sender path it diappears but no file gets generated in the receiver path.
Pls can anybody guide me as to wether something is wrong somewhere or wether i have missed on certain steps.

Hi,
I am still facing the same problem.
I have not used any business system.
There are two business service(one sender and the other reciever).
I have checked sxmb_adm and httpport in the exchange profile but all of them are filled with the respective values:
com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.r3.httpport = 8030.
com.sap.aii.connect.integrationserver.httpport = 53000.
in sxmb_adm we have given url as http://10.119.4.33:8030/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
But I am still getting the error msg that reads:
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://itcxi1:53000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection AFW failed, due to: Received HTTP response code 404..
Pls suggest what else do i need to check.
