SGEN Software component clarification

Hi,
I ran SGEN by selecting the sap_appl software component but even after the process finished the FI module t.codes are not fully compiled yet. For example when i went to fb50 t.code the program was not pre-compiled yet and the system compiled it on the fly for 2 mins. i dont want this to happen. how can i precompile all the FICO components?
which software component shd i choose to include FICO module in the SGEN process? I dont want to select all the software components because its very time consuming to compile all.

Did SGEN finish corrrectly?
I checked tx fb50, and it belongs to package "FBAS" and this package is part of software componenet SAP_APPL, but some of the function are form EA-PS and others, so run for all of the package, but it will consume more space and it will take time.

I think basis guy should know this, it`s on software component level.
i know a tcode 'SGEN', but this is used to define a background job then compiling the software component. I`m not sure the background job log whether have this kind of error message if there are SYNTAX error.

Error While Adding a Software Component

While adding a software component in the SLD, i am getting the below error. Can anybody please suggest me the possible reason for the same.
Storing changes to persistence failed. Please check both your J2EE engine and database are in a healthy running state. (Error: CIM_ERR_FAILED: [NWMss][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Could not allocate space for object 'BC_SLD_CHANGELOG' in database 'X7A' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full.)
Also i would like to know what is a software unit in a SLD??

Error while Deleting Software Component

Hi All,
I am getting following error while deleting Software Component Version:
Unable to Delete object DELETEDEMO_COMPONENET, 1.0 of delete.
You cannot delete a sotware component version if it contains imported interfaces.
Is there any shortcut isntead of deleting all objets manuually?

It's very simple
Solution:
Double Click on Software Component, On Right Hand side >Go to Software Component Version->Delete the software component.If all the necessary Objects have been properly deleted, there will be no problem in Deleting the Software Componet version
1) Delete the created Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces, Message Mappings, and Interface Mappings.
2) There should be no Imported SAP Objects in the Software Component. If any delete them and activate changes.
3) Delete all namespaces in the editor using sign. Do not save the changes.
4) Delete the two default data types that are created in the Interface Objects-->Data Types of the software component version (ExchangeFaultdata, ExchangeLogdata). Now save changes for the s/w component version and activate the changes. Ignore the warnings that pop-up.
5) The radio button for u201CInterface import should be at u201CNot permittedu201D instead of u201CImport RFC and IDoc Interfaces from SAP Systems Permittedu201D.
6) Now go to Software component version menu in the right hand pane. Click on delete and the software component vanishes from left hand pane

Can not view a Software Component Version in Enterprise Services Repository

Hello,
I'm trying to import in ESR the software component version created in the SLD. I'm using SAP PI 7.3.
Into to work area select Software Component Version and click on checkpoint Import from SLD. Click in bottom Display (List of Software Component Versions) and it show me the list but cannot view the Name of the SWC created.
I cleared the cache (Environment - clear sld data cache) and the result it's the same, not show the SWC the I created.
Do you have any idea?

as it's a new installation, you certainly missed something. have you did controls of Readiness Check doc and tcode SLDCHECK ([see PI 7.1x oss note|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1143810]).

Preciso de uma ajuda de vcs, estou com um ambiente que o BASIS instalou tudo mas o Produto/Software Component SAP NFe 1.0 não está aparecendo no SLD portanto nao consigo fazer a amarracao com o Business System ( que foi criado ).
Vcs sabem me falar a nota ou sp que crie/instale esse produto no meu SLD?

Error during import/export Software Component in IR

After updating XI(DEV) to following SP19 stacks, the problem was encountered with the export or import of design objects in integration repository.
All following were completed successfully,
1. SAP KERNEL 6.40, to latest patch level 155;
2. SAP BASIS 6.40, from SP15 to SAPKB64019;
3. SAP ABA 6.40, from SP15 to SAPKA64019;
4. SAP J2EE ENGINE 6.40, from SP15 to SP19;
5. XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK CORE 6.40, from SAPXIAFC15 to SAPXIAFC19;
6. XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK 6.40, from SAPXIAF15 to SAPXIAF19;
7. XI TOOLS 6.40, from SAPXITOOL15 to SAPXITOOL19;
When we try to import the Software Component XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_19_00.tpz, a problem happened with the exception (See Exception below), and then we cannot log in any component of JAVA stack for unauthorized reason untill we restart the J2EE engine.
When we try to export the Software Component, the exporting procedure will be interupted for some exsited or unexsited(maybe already-deleted) message interfaces (See , and then we cannot log in any component of JAVA stack either as after importing.

If I use the "release transfer" function of IR, the new created version can be export correctly.
I've tried to create a new SC and SWCV, it can be export & import correctly.
Also, if copied all of the objects from a namespace to a new namespace, and delete the old one, that SWCV can be export correctly.
Anyone knows what's wrong within my IR?

While Importing some components has missed and the Exception is unable to handle it. Is it possible for you to Import again and check the table space is sufficient.

Some Software Component Versions do not show up in transaction sproxy

I have a landscape with a CRM system, a PI system (with the SLD on it) and some other systems.
In transaction sproxy in the CRM system the Software Component Version SAP CRM ABAP 7.0 shows up, but others that should be there like SAP ABA 7.01 are not there.
So I went on the SLD and edited the technical system for the CRM system, I added the product SAP CRM 7.00 and set the checkmark for installed for the relevant SWCVs like SAP ABA 7.01.
I then went to the business system for the relevant CRM client and there also checked those SWCVs.
But still they do not show up in transaction sproxy in the CRM system.
What am I missing?

Creating a new DC in existing software component

Hi,
I am trying to create new DC in a software component that is custom developed.
You can consider this as a totally build product and I want to extend the features implementing new DC.
I am able to import the development components, and when I try to create a new DC in the configuraition pool, I am anot able to select the vendor from the Vendor dropdown.
Can some one explain how to do this?
Is it possible to keep the software component as is, but copy the same to a custom namespace (with new vendor name newvendor.com) and create a dc in it. This way i can change the sc as is and make changes on new SC.

I did not create any namespace prefixes in SLD.
Can you give me some clarity about name spaces? I am not very clear about the same.
About the SC i am trying to modify, it is not SAP deliverd SC, instead created under custom vendor name and I am able to import the DCs and hopefully check in the same.
Also, after seeing your reply, I checked for any available namespaces in SLD, and all I can see is sap.com/home etc., which are owned by SAP.
Do I have to create a new namespace with the vendor name to create new DCs?
Also, I get this error message when trying to create a new DC:
Syntax of 'sap.com/home/NewDC' is not valid: Name suffix must be spelled lower case: home/NewDC
Please suggest.

Proble in SC State while adding a software component into a Track

Hi all,
I have created a product, software component in SLD and added the dependencies to the software component in SLD and in CMS i created a track and include the software component which i have created in SLD. For this software component SC State is not at all displaying (red, yello, green). How to change the SC state of the software component. Is there any procedure to do that, if so could any tell me the procedure.

Software component with Key ID does not exist

Hi Friends,
           Here I am in need of your help. I got involved in an upgrade from XI 3.0 to PI 7.1. The Basis has imported all the SWC & Business systems from XI 3.0. When I am trying to activate the objects imported from IR of XI3.0 then It is triggering an error as
data retrieving failed from Adapter Metadata | RFC http://sap.com/xi/XI/System. /// ROA_MOA_NOTCOMPLETED.
            Because of this I am unable to activate the imported objects in ID by showing the message as Software component with key ID XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX does not exist.
            when I went there to ESR then under a software component I found a message under underlying components like             " XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX not exist" but I am not aware of the object related to that Key ID.

         I got the alternative solution for my problem. All credit goes to you. I recreated the communication channels instead of using the same ones after Upgrad. Any way we need to change the communication channels after importing the channels but the system is giving the above error message as   "Adapter Software component with Key ID XXXXXXXX...... does not exist".
         But its allowing me to create a new channel. Then based on the neetesh suggestion, I went through and create the new comm channels instead of wasting so much time on the same issue.

Problem in importing software component

I created a software component,when i tried to import it into repository, i am getting following error
Communication with JMS server failed Repeat the last action. If the problem continues to occur after multiple attempts, contact your system administrator to check the availability of the JMS provider service
if i again try to import it i am getting following error

Hi,
the problem seems to be connection to the database or may be database URL is incorrect.
The problem can be solved via the Visual Administrator or by a manual modification of the data-sources.xml file.
Visual Administrator --> Server --> Services --> JDBC Connector -->Select DataSource
Change the URL given in the Database URL field with the appropriate one & save it.

and ther u can import it from the menu bar thers a option of download/upload....just put in the note no.

YOu mean to say Software Unit..
If yes Software unit is a particular aspect of the Product functions.It is a logical link between the product version and the software component version.
A product version consists of multiple software units. These units are implemented by various software components (or versions).
