I have a log file that tells that the license file is missing for LAN_ENTERPRISE_SERVICES_PKG, but I do not use any feature of that package

I found the solution. There is open bug regarding the issue.

File extension missing for new blog entry pages

I have a blog and have created new entries, but I can't publish "because the file does not have a file extension." (I clicked on the publish button and also tried in the menu "Publish to Mac.com." Neither works.
I thought whatever was necessary to connect a new entry to my blog was created automatically. I'm not even sure what a file extension is. What is it?
In the Site Inspector I can do nothing. All possible commands are grayed out. Maybe I'm not supposed to make a hyperlink for a file.

you don't have to clear the cache to upload the material, you sometimes have to clear the browser's cache to see your new page, for the old page in the cache may prevent your browser from displaying the new page properly.
BTW, the same is true for any visitor to your site - if you change your page frequently and find that you have to empty the cache, then any visitor to your site also will experience the same problem and should know that he/she should empty the cache if the page looks funny.

Planning file entries missing for some materials in MD21.

Hi gurus,
when i check the MD21, i found that some materails are not having planning file entries i.e netch and netpl indicator .and because of this we found that these materials are not being in planning.
From my understanding these planning file entries were updated when the material was created.
I am not sure how these entries are missing. Please can any one help me find out the root cause for the same.

Dear,
Please note MRP has to be activated for plant level before creating materials in OMDU. Then only created materials will have planning file entries.
You can run planning file entries consistency check in background before the MRP run to create/delete the planning file entreies automatically from MDRE/MDAB transactions...This will be useful to avoid the re-planning of the materials ( if planning file entry is not deleted after MRP run) and also to plan material (if planning file entry is not created).

"File archive" missing for RH8 Download

I want to download the RH8 Trial version. Once I got the Akamai download manager installed, I thought I was ready. But... it hangs saying that the RH8 archive file part is missing. Where/ How do I get this? I tried copying the downloader into my project file location, but it didn't find what it needed there, either. Thx.

I have the exact same problem. I've been trying to install RoboHelp 8 for 2 hours now...

[Common 17-345] A valid license was not found for feature 'Implementation' and/or device 'xc7z045'.

Theimplementation feature and the whole flow was working smoothly until recently wehtn the error popped up. When I checked the license status it is still valid. I tried returning the license (with the hope to generate a fresh one), this is not going through as I see "Invalid option specified" message. I realized that the trusted storage itself was having problems. The issue that I was facing was very much similar to what is explained in the below discussion:

I followed the steps as in above and could see trusted storage itself that was having problems. And followed the steps in the above discussion and could successfully run installanchorservice.exe
This should have solved the issue if the trust was broken due to anchoring. This however, did not solve my issue. On further reading, I came across the below AR:

Based on this I could see that there are 3 reasons for Trust getting broken.
Binding (tampering the system parameters)
Anchoring
Windback
My issue is with Binding. The NIC card got disabled for some issue and I had to run diagnostics and fix it. I strongly suspect that due to this trust is broken due to Binding.
Attached the logs.txt from the the following commands:
xlicclientmgr -v "format=long"
xlicclientmgr -l
I could not find any material on the web to restore the trust of it is broken due to binding issue. Any pointers will be really appreciated.

Yes that repaired the broken license. Than you very much for this.
For the benifit of others:
It was confirmed that in my case the trust was broken due to Binding. For this, you need to provide the files that you find in the discussion above and Xilinx support will provide a xml file with instructions, that you need to follow to repair the license.

License file missing exception while starting managed server

Hi,
I am trying to start a managed server on the same machine as the adminstration
server. There are no problems starting the admin server but when we try to start
the managed server , we get a "Missing License File" exception. The license file
is valid for clustering also.

Cisco ISE license file

I would like to backup the license file to apply for a fresh installation on the same hardware (3355). Is that possible? I tried resetting the configuration from the CLI and the license was excluded, it was necessary to do a restore.

Check to make sure that the directory in which you have a valid license file
"license.bea" is included in your CLASSPATH.

Dbping error - Missing license file

When I run the dbping utility to test my Oracle connection I get
the following error:
$ java utils.dbping ORACLE scott tiger dev1
Missing license file for: WebLogic Server 6.1
Error encountered:
java.sql.SQLException: Fail to load jDriver/Oracle due to license checking failed!
I am running WebLogic 6.1 on Solaris 8 with Oracle 8.1.7. I ran
the dbping utility from the BEA home directory (/opt/bea) where
the license file (license.bea) is located.

Did you run the setEnv script before issuing the dbping command?
<BEAHOME>/config/mydomain/setEnv.sh
cd $BEAHOME
java utils.dbping ORACLE scott tiger mysid
NOTE: Be sure to update the JAVA_HOME and WEBLOGIC_HOME 'paths' in the setEnv
script

Missing license file

Hi,
I installed Weblogic7.0 beta and got the evaluation license license_wls7.bea from
the website. I changed the file name to license.bea and copied it to BEA home
directory. When I started the server, I got error: Missing license file for Weblogic
Server 7.0. I added BEA home directory to classpath, still got the error. This
is a new installation.

You solved your problem, but I still have the same problem when I was using Weblogic
server 6.1 and I try to connect to Oracle 8.17 on my Win2k.
the license.bea file IS in c:\bea, and c:\bea IS included in classpath. the license
for jDriver/Oracle is 5-28.
I do not know why?

Problem with license file

Hi I have an issue. My company uses SAP Business One and purchased 40 licenses. Because of the high cost, the company made a decision not to purchase a maintenance contract. At one of our sites one of our servers with 12 licenses, which is also the domain controller, crashed and the domain had to be rebuilt, resulting in a change to the hardware key. As a result users cannot log on to SBO because the license server is requesting a new license file. Although we were given an S-Number, whenever we attempt to access the customer portal to download a new license file, we receive a message that the user is not authorized because we do not have a maintenance contract. When we contacted the partner, it was confirmed that we must have a maintenance contract to download a new license file. We were also informed that we would have to pay retroactive for each year that we did not pay for a maintenance contract and it would better to purchase new licenses. Since then everyone at SAP we have contacted has been reluctant to assist us. Our accounting has come to a grinding halt for a week now.
Is this correct. If it is then this is ridiculous. We have researched and It would be more cost effective to purchase a total new accounting suite than to pay retroactive on maintenance contracts to SAP which is supposed to be optional . We did purchase our licenses which are still valid from SAP and not from another company. I can understand being denied any patches or upgrades in the absence of a maintenance contract or even paying for a support ticket to obtain a new license file, but not denial of access to our license which has already been paid for. (sounds like a legal issue). Your feedback in getting this issue promptly resolved will be greatly appreciated.

This happens if the super-administrator is created before the first installation is assigned to the user´s customer number. You can check if you have full authorization via My Profile u2192 Display my authorizations and compare it with the list of all availalbe authorizations (quick link /user-admin u2192 Documentation u2192 1.3 Available authorizations). In case you do not have full authorization, create a message (quick link /message) with component XX-SER-SAPSMP-USR and request the assignment of the missing authorizations.
Also, I can't send a message as I don't have authorization.
So, I have 2 problems - I need to get the license key and I need to get full authorization. Is there some way that I can contact SAP directly to request that I get a license key. I'm totally stuck unless I get this resolved. I appreciate your expert help.

You need to include d:\bea in your classpath when running the dbping
utility, this includes the license file.
