Shaking picture on TV

Hi, I installed my black bt vision box yesterday and connected it to my TV. My TV is pretty old, but before BT I had never problems with it.
Currently I can watch TV, but the picture is moving a few pixels to the right and then back to the left a couple of times every second which is very annoying. (The frequency of this back and forth is not constant).
When I restart the BT vision box the "starting please wait" message does not shake at all but then when the BT logo appears the picture starts shacking and never stops doing so from then on.
Does anyone have an idea what might cause this? (I tried plugging out cables and plugging back in many times which did not help).
edit: the picture stopped shaking after leaving the TV turned on for a while. (problem solved! ^^)

If your TV isn't flat then it is a CRT TV and the picture on the screen is not made up of pixelsc but comes from three guns if you like firing from the back of the tube onto the TV screen at 625 lines per second ( I think per second never really thought about it before). The guns if you like are red green and blue and this make up the picture you see. A very clever system in reality.
Sadly what you are experiencing is the slow death of the cathode ray tube (CRT) mechanism at least that's what I reckon.

  • Shaking Picture (using ultra key)

I am using ultra-key for a grey frame. In that frame I have clips (mpg, m2v), animations (mpg)  and pictures (jpeg).
The frame is made with photoshop -> JPEG
the border of the frame is unsharp and it seems to go back and forth.
    output:
    NTSC, 720*540, 25 fps, Quality 5,
    top MPEG, 384 kbit/s, 48khz, 16bit, stereo
    VBR, 1-Pass, min 4.00, target 15.00, max 18.50
    Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.0
how can I stop that shaking?
    thank you.

look closely, you will see it

What encoder are you using--Adobe Media Encoder?  You have unusual settings that I am unable to duplicate.
Also, it appears that all the elements, and not just the frame are jittering.  You wrote that you are using the NTSC standard
but your settings are more indicative of a PAL project.  Try re-encoding using either standard PAL or NTSC frame size settings.
You may also need to change the field order.

  • Elements 7 & Premier - What causes shaking pictures?

I actually have two problems that I hope someone can help me with please.
Whilst draging images to construct a slide show, the images lose their sharpness and look slightly blurred.  I have redone it 3 times and get the same result 3 times so am obviously making the same mistake.
When preparing a video, on the computer the images are great but when I show it on the TV, it is shakey as though the images can't keep up.  I have tried it on two different DVD players and get the same result - it looks really jerky.
Any help on these two problems would be greatly appreciated.

These 13 presets quickly apply color changes to a clip. For example, if you want to quickly give a radically red tint to the clip, apply the Hyper Tint Red preset. The Increase Saturation preset quickly increases color saturation in a clip and is a great way to improve the appearance of clips that are sun washed or otherwise lack color depth without having to do too much time-consuming effect tweaking.  cheap r4i

  • Difficulty in saving document in Microsoft Office 2011 after Yosemite was updated

Is anyone experiencing the same problem as I. When I edit a document in MS office 2011 for Mac and click save us, I get a "shaking" picture of the folders and I cannot type in the new file name right away. Even if I want to cancel the "save as" procedure, it takes a long time before the computer responds. I didn't experience this before I updated with Yosemite and updated my MS Office 2011.
    Any suggestions? Thanks

Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
And/or... Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

  • Picture on the final product is shaking

Every time i burn a dvd in idvd with a transtition the picture looks like it is "shaking"

Some transitions have interlace-related flicker or distortion in iMovie HD 5.0.2
The Overlap transition doesn't deinterlace the freeze frame like it should. If the freeze frame remains interlaced, then there is flicker or jitter when it is viewed on an interlaced TV.
Also the Scale Down transition doesn't deinterlace the scaled clip so it has ugly interlacing artifacts (if it is interlaced and if it contains motion).
It can be debated whether the Twirl and Warp Out transitions should also deinterlace the transition clip so there would be no interlacing artifacts. It is a matter of taste whether distortion in interlacing is part of those transition effects or not.

  • TV 's picture is shaking

    Hi!
My TV's picture sometimes is nice, but sometimes it is shaking. I have checked the cable: it is working, I have the correct region settings(PAL). Anyway I have an FX5600, and it is connected to my TV with an s-video to rca adapter. So how can I stop the shaking?
    Thanks, Lutyo

I have solved my problem, I simply pulled off the koax cable from the video and the picture became fine.

  • Pictures are shaking as key framing moves them

I make montages with FCE--I upgraded to FCE4. My current montage is shaking when played on DVD--I burn through iDVD. The image 'lines'appear to shake when I have key framed them to move as in the Ken Burns effect. Haven't had this problem before--any suggestions? Last time I saw this 'wavy' 'shaking' was when I tried to put a document with text and the text appeared to wave. Should I upgrade my operating system? I have noticed FCE drops frames frequently during playback. Connected?
    Thanks for help

    Hi(Bonjour)!
You see interlace problem as your material start from a still frame, an non interlaced material. This problem is normal with interlaced video sequence.
Apply a de-interlace filter or a deflicker. Add some blur may help to.
There are many posts in this forum about stills picture. Look at them there are many workarounds.

  • HT1273 watching a streaming video, picture and voice shaking & stops on it's own.

Trying to watch a Streaming video, picture and voice shaking and stops on it's own.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

  • HP pavilion picture error/shaking

    Hi..
I have a Hp pavilion m9052sc. desktop. For about 6 months ago, i got a problems with my monitor. It keeps shaking, i tought that was my monitor dead. So i bought a 32" Samsung TV. Today i tried connect my desktop to my tv. The problems is still continue. I have enclosed a picture. Hope you guys can i help me.

With that kind of tearing / jitter, I would guess your video card may be going out. Your computer has an integrated VGA output. If you have a monitor with a VGA input, connect the DVI-to-VGA adpater to the video card and to the monitor... note what the image looks like. Now turn off the computer, uplug it, and hold the power switch in for 10 seconds. Next, remove the discrete video card from inside the case and connect the integrated VGA output to the monitor. Hook everything back up and turn it on....note if there is any improvement.
Improvement using integrated video, means the discrete graphics card may need to be replaced.

  • Picture stills are shaking when I export my video

    Hi,
I finished doing my video reel and in some parts I created stills from my video. I tried exporting the video with different settings because I'm thinking it's the export settings data rate that's making them shake. The videos look fine and I don't want to sacrafice my video quality to save the stills. Anyone know what's going on?
    Thanks in Advance!

    VIDEO FILTERS>VIDEO>DE-INTERLACE.
Video stills show both fields...interlaced. You need to de-interlace.

  • I seem to have locked a picture from a previous email on my screen and now can't see other emails what to do?

I have a picture locked in my screen. How can I get this picture unlocked?

Does tapping on it not give you a Done option at the top left of it ? If not then try closing the Mail app completely andsee if it works when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Email campaign with picture in email body

    Hello All,
I have searched for email campaign in BYD system but couldn't find anything like that.
We want email campaign to be run from SAP System (just like mail merge) in which email body can contain picture or .jpg file.
May i know about this? or any html code for adding picture in email body?
    Please help, Thanks

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.

  • PS CS4 (64bit) 11.+ Issue (Screen Shaking)

    Hmm,
I have this strange problem. I just updated my PS after a while to a newer version and now my screen is "shaking" like mad everytime I circle around the selected picture or close/further it with the navigator. The whole desktop is jumping up and down for about 2-3cm from where it should be and blinding together into a blured and disturbed image.
I tried downgrading it and that works, also my Illustrator CS4 works just fine, so I can't really see the problem :3
    My spec:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, 2x 3.17GHz
    ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP@n, P45
    Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2, 2x 1024MB
    Corsair XMS3 DHX DIMM Kit 4GB PC3-12600U
    Thanks for your help

Well yea, I'll probably do that, even if I don't really see that as a permanent solution.. You know downgrading is kinda more going against the whole "progress thingy" idea and not a real solution.
But never the less, thanks for your time
