  • Camileo Clip - shaky video

I bought the clip to use for recording my walks. I tested it using the stabiliser and holding the clip as I walked along, but the resulting video was jumping around so much it was unwatchable! How on earth can I overcome this problem? If I do 'clip' it to myself then the shaking will be even worse as at least in my hand its steadier. I even tried video stabilisation software but the original footage is so unsteady the software cant cope!

Well, I wrote already in your other thread about this camcorder.
The Camileo clip its a fun, party camcorder designed for shooting small segments of an party event. You should not expect too much from this fun camcorder.
As far as I know this camcorder supports the image stabilization
The electronic image stabilization helps you to minimize the shaky video effect but you of course you should not expect too much from a 60 camcorder.

  • Shaky Video Playback

I am new to editing and I am currently experiencing shaky video playback in Premiere Elements 12.
I am working from a laptop currently and I am not sure if it is my computer specs which is the issue or software is the issue.
I am recording with Canon Rebel t3i in HD 1080 29fps.
    Processor: AMD E-350 1.6 GHz
    RAM: 5.6 usable
    OS: 64-bit

    Nupetastik1
The answers will be in the details.
The links provided in post 2 are impressive but do not necessarily tell us what you can do in your specific computer environment with your specific source media and your Premiere Elements 12  project in a 64 bit system, assumed to be either Window 7, 8, or 8.1. Please confirm what version/editor of Windows is being used here as well as the size and scope of the projects that you intend to create in the future in the computer environment that you outlined.
Granted "..Part of the issue..." is included as a modifier when your computer rank of 745 was pointed to. At this point, I am not ready to pass judge that your "shaky video playback" is related to your ADM E-350 processor.
    Once we know more including
    a. Do you have the correct project settings
    b. The duration of your Timeline content...what parts of it are shaky, all or just some...if some, have you applied any effects to that content...etc.
    c. In spite of "shaky video" seen in the Edit Mode monitor, do you see the same "shaky video" in the export of that "shaky video" Timeline content?
Please review and not be discouraged at this rank "745" just yet. It is interesting information to have in projecting the compability of your workbench to create larger projects. But, once the display issue is defined, then you can explore and experiment in searching for the limits of your setup related to the size of the project.
That is my take on the situation in discussion. Do not give up until all the details are sorted out.
    Thanks.

  • Best way to stabilize shaky video?

Whats the best plugin or standalone way to stabilize shaky video? Are there any free solutions?

Nothing free that I know of, but take a look at iStabilize.

  • Under iMovie 10.0.2:"Stabilize shaky video"

All I see is a spinning ball on the LHS and a xx% on the RHS. I have no idea whether a section of my project has been stabilised, or not.Grateful for advice please.

Analysis for stabilization takes quite a long time (something like 10 times the suration of the clip).  When it is done there should be a white tick against the 'Stabilize Shaky Video' above the viewer.
When you say you see a spinning ball is this the mac 'beachball'?  Does it stop or does imovie become unresponsive?
On the LHS and RHS of what?
    Geoff.

  • Download Video Helper For Safari

I'm looking for a similar download video helper that Firefox offers for free, for Safari. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is the Free  iTube Grabber which can capture almost any audio and/or video stream (it says here) but only works with Intel Macs.
    http://itube-grabber.en.softonic.com/mac
There is also iTubeX which allows you to download videos (Flash, HTML5 and others), .mp3 and .swf files from almost every website as easily as possible:
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/27604/itubex
Lastly: How to download Flash videos and play them in Quicktime using Perian is explained here:
    http://perian.org/#watch
It's the video at the bottom of the page.
Last but not least (as some of the above may not work with Snow Leopard or Lion) there is the 'pwn trick':
For example, the full youtube site for your movie is:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC2XIGMI ... e=youtu.be
As soon as the movie starts, pause it and add 'pwn' in front of the youtube part of the url so it looks like this:
    http://www.pwnyoutube.com/watch?v=bC2XI ... e=youtu.be
Hit Return and then follow the instructions.

  • Shaky video, less quality after exporting

    Hello everyone!
Today i tried recording a Euro truck simulator 2 video, and after that a Sniper Elite V2 video with Fraps. The output files become .AVI files.
It looked perfect when i was looking at the raw footage, aswell as when i edited it and saw it in the preview window of Premiere Pro CS5. Im running it clean, so i've added nothing to it.
    Im running on Windows 8.
Though, when i exported it, it started getting a little shaky getting a rather big quality loss aswell as black borders appearing in the video that i fixed in the preview/editing.
If anyone can help me out, i'd appreciate it. i have googled and looked at all the results that i've found and nothing have helped. I think its my third or fourth attempt on exporting and still failing at this time, and its the first video EVER to do this, which is abit weird.
    My Export Settings :
    Video Settings:
    NTSC
1920x1080 (If it matters, when i recorded it i recorded it on my 1440x900 monitor)
    59.94 fps

    Target 12,00
    Max 18,00 Mbps

    Profile : High
    Audio Settings:

  • Shaky Video on DVD

    Hi.
I've asked this question on the FCE forum too, so forgive the repeat, but I may get some other eye's to view it here.
I have video that looks shaky when the subject is moving.
I created the video in FCE, then exported a self contained FCE movie. I pulled it in to iDVD, and burned a DVD. It looked terrible when there was motion.
I also tried pulling the file in to toast 6 and burning to a dvd that way. It looked better, but still bad.
When I watch the video on a monitor while playing in FCE it looks just fine. Also, when I open the exported file and play it (it plays out of FCE) it still looks fine on the monitor. Only after encoding and burning does the sequence go bad.
I've made plenty of movies in the past without this problem. I dont know what I have done to bring this on.
    Please help!
    Dave

  • Shaky Video after export

Hello. I've posted on this before, but havent quite found my answer.
I have video with some motion in it that looks shaky when I burn it to DVD. Someone suggested that I try adding the De-Interlace filter to correct it, but that doesnt seem to be it. I can watch the video from FCE on a TV going thru my camera and it looks fine (with or without the De-interlace filter). But when I export the video as a self contained movie, then pull it in to toast, and burn a DVD, the motion looks bad on the DVD. I also tried going thru iDVD, and there it looked even worse.
This problem is new to me. I've had video with motion before and didnt have this issue.
    Any ideas????
    Thanks!

I also read your earlier posts on this topic.
From your description I'd exclude de-interlacing and the field dominance problem: you detect these issues before burning if you Print to Video or playback through the firewire connection to a interlaced TV. And you did that.
So export might be the problem. Let me however suggest a test to check if the Export process from FCE or the burning process by Toast or iDVD is the issue.
After export you could try to open the exported .mov (with Export/QuickTime Movie !) using QT Pro, open the property window (cmd-J), select the video track, open the view settings (or something alike, I have the Italian version...) and check High Quality. Then in the main window if you go through the shaky part frame by frame (right arrow) you should see how each frame looks:
    - If a frame has a comb effect (due to the fact that its 2 fields have different timing) that's not necessarily bad: what you see is interlacing, that should be correctly handled by the playback device (whether through firewire from FCE or when recorded on DVD).
    - But if frames jump back and forth, then you might have a field dominance problem.
If interlacing or field dominance is a problem, however as I said above, you should see it also when you watch the movie connected to a TV.
To cross check, in FCE you can set the canvas window to 100% (no more e no less) and repeat the frame by frame test I suggest above in QT Pro: if the behaviour is the same the problem is in the use of Toast or iDVD, if they behave differently in FCE (better) and QT (worse), then Export is the culprit.
This doesn't solve your issue, but it might help in understand it.
I hope I did not confuse your ideas...
    Piero

  • Fixing shaky video

I have some HD video I recorded without my tripod and when I view it 16:9, you can really see the shaky movement. Is there a way to fix/sync the frames on the timeline to make the video look more fluent. Same thing has happened when I pan the camera. The motion isn't as graceful as I'd like.
    Any help would be appreciated.

There's a program called iStabalize. I'm not sure if it does HD, but I used it on a DV project of mine and it works great. Not sure how it does it but everything is automatic, and it leaves the video in the same aspect ratio it came in as and then just adjusts the video. You can even pick the color of the non-video portion after it corrects the video, or do what I did and just use the zoom feature in the motion tab of FCX and zoom in enough to just loose the non-video area.
I hear that Shake also works great, but I've tried the demo and couldn't do anything with it, and I use FCP which is another step up from Express.
Good Luck and don't forget to rate,
    -Brian

  • Shaky Video when Burned to DVD

    Hello all,
Call me an amatuer when it comes to camcorders. I have a Sony DCR-SR40 HDD camcorder and when I take video recorded on this device, transfer to my Mac, and then edit in HD 6, the video (when played back on a DVD) comes out shaky for action video where people are moving. It is almost like there are tracers when they are moving.
When the raw footage is played back in its native mpg format it looks fine, and when it is burned using Sony's "One Touch" DVD burn the video is not shaky or look like it has tracers, it looks fine. I am thinking it has to do with the quality of the image being recorded by the video camera and that when it gets compiled/burned to DVD it causes the shakiness. It has done this in iMovie HD 6 and in Adobe Elements 3.0. Is there a fix for this?
If it is just a camcorder issue, any recommendations for a good quality camcorder to capture sports footage (Football) that would burn great in iMovie and not have that shakiness/tracers?

    >MPEG2 exported from Premeire, to quicktime, to encore
That is, to me, a backwards work flow
Mpeg2 is an output format... but you are using it as your source file in Premiere... what is the source of the file?
Read Bill Hunt on a file type as WRAPPER http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
    What is a CODEC... a Primer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/546811
What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... a screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing
    For PC http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ or http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en
    For Mac http://mediainfo.massanti.com/
You are then exporting to Quicktime... which Encore must then encode to MPEG2 to make a DVD (the VOB on a DVD is a renamed MPEG)
You are starting with a compressed file... exporting which may add more compression... and compressing again in Encore... it is no wonder your DVD has lost quality

We are fellow users here on these public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support - I've asked the hosts to remove your email addresses and password from your post. If that is your current password that you've posted for everyone to see then you should change it IMMEDIATELY.
I'm not sure that I understand all of your post. By 'google' do you mean your gmail email accounts ? If you do then how are you trying to access your email, via the Mail app and/or another app on your phone, the Mail program or a browser on your Mac ? If you are using the Mail app on your phone and you've checked your email account's password then you should be able to add that new password on your phone by tapping on the email account in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, then tap on the 'account' at the top of the next screen, and you should then be able to enter the new password. If you are using the Facebook app on your iPhone, and you've changed the password for logging into Facebook, then you should be able to update it on your phone via Settings > Facebook
If you are using the Mail app on your Mac, then to change your gmail password in it (assuming that you've changed the password for it) then go into Mail > Preferences (command-comma), select the Accounts tab on the preferences, select the gmail account on the list of accounts, and on the right-hand side of that screen you should be able to update its password.
If the problems are on your Mac then you might be better off re-posting in one of the other forums (e.g. Safari, and there are forums for various Mac OS X versions), and there is also a Using iPhone forum - this forum is for the iTunes Store e.g. buying, downloading content from iTunes.

I have this EXACT same problem. And my ports are definitely 2.0 USB. I've uninstalled and installed all the iPod, iTunes and Quicktime components at least 4 times. I've reset the iPod. I've read everything I can get my hands on... nuthin'... nada...

I cannot read or write I have been using the iPad With the accessibility icon  Is there a video to help teach me To learn how to use this accessibility more efficiently

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:
    http://www.adwaremedic.com/kb/baddns.php
    http://www.adwaremedic.com/kb/hackedrouter.php
If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?
