Shape Animation - can't copy/paste keyframes

I'm using bezier masks to remove some talking heads from their lame surroundings. I've set keyframes at the most extreme points of movement, and now want to go back and fill in some additional keyframes, but I am unable to copy/paste shape animation keyframes in the keyframe editor. Any suggestions?

You can turn on record animation, and just move the playhead, then move the control points.

I can't find anything in the Knowledge Base that says these two options no longer work or still do.
I do not have a system capable of running Lion, but I need to know the answer nonetheless.

One further question, if I may: in Panther (which is where I've aggregated nearly 7 years of mail), if you copy more than one file in the Finder, switch to Mail, and paste the files into a new message, only the file names paste in. If you copy one file and paste it into a Mail message, you get the file, not just the name. Is that still true, or has that (IMHO) bug been fixed since 10.3.9?

How can I copy/paste text from one page to another?

I feel like I am taking crazy pills... is there really no way to copy a text box (or group) from one page to another while creating books in Aperture 3? Lets say I have my entire book laid out and I want to add one paragraph at the end on one page which will push text and photos down a half page or so... in most programs for the last decade or so they added really cool functionality... cut/paste... It seems like the apple developers are aware of it because they are in the context menus but they don't work on text, only photo boxes. Additionally, you can copy/paste text but it erases all formatting.
Seriously, am I missing something? I have trouble believing that they can't include this function.
Anyone else have this issue?

Update... it seems to only happen with text boxes which I create. So when I try an existing theme I can cut/copy/paste just fine, but in that same theme if you edit the layout and add a new text box, I can't copy paste it anywhere... the options are in the menu but nothing happens.
Thoughts? Solutions?

How can I copy/paste without copying the formatting? For example, if I copy a sentence from a website and paste it on text editing program, it copies all the formatting as well. How can I turn that off?

There is an app called "No Formatting" in the App Store. It is simple and works perfectly - it strips formatting from paste (Ctr-V). I needed it for Word and Excel, which don't have keyboard shortcuts for this. It can be toggled on and off from the Menu Bar.

hold your finger down in the body of the mail - the part you want to copy. a blue box will comeup and offer to 'select/select all' or something like that. choose the appropriate choice. If you only want part of it that bubble will have two handles that allow you to drag out the selection box.
then hold your finger down again and another bubble will come up offering to cut/copy the words. choose copy
then navigate to your notes app (not sure about the textbook, depends on whether or not it support it) and hold your finger down in an empty text area. you'll get another blue bubble offering to paste it. choose that and the words should appear. then save as appropriate.

Entire Edit Menu, other than "Clear" is grayed out – can't copy/paste anything. Also can't move objects with direct selection tool. Reset preferences and still have same problem. Ideas?

I just had this problem as well. I'm using InDesign CS6, MacOS 10.6.8 where my cut & Paste grayed out and after I made any kind of object. Even though I could select it, I couldn't drag it/move it UNLESS I used my arrow keys to do so. I tried deleting my prefs and restarting InDesign multiple times as listed above but after a full shut down and restart of my machine I finally saw operations return to normal.
Just an FYI.

QT Pro - .mov files - can't copy/paste/export - opens browser

On a couple .mov files, when I open them, my browser opens also. As for the .mov files, I can't copy, paste, export etc.
Can anyone explain this, and is there a way to resolve the browser and other issues?

So I went into Iphoto, selected the Trimmed Movie and selected. PHOTOS, revert to Original.
Now I can COPY and PASTE the MOVIE from Iphoto to a normal Folder.
I then opened the original .mov file in Quicktime and trim the movie. I then go to close and save
"The Operation could not be completed, an unknown error occured"

I can't copy, paste or save in Dreamweaver 5.5. This is frustrating because about 3 months ago CS2 Design Suite crashed and I can't reinstall it. Please help! I'm getting no support.

What is the error message you're getting when you try to copy/ paste/ save? Is this happening only for 1 file or all files?
Can you open up Adobe Application Manager and check to see if you have any updates available for DW and ensure its up-to-date?

Can't copy paste opacity animation

All-
I am unable to copy paste opacity animations in Edge while inside the symbol.
I can copy paste other animations like x y while in the symbol but not opacity
The work around is to redo the animation at the point where needed
Am i missing something?

Can't copy paste shapes in Preview properly

All markup business is pretty stuttering, when I copy paste a shape, say a circle I created, I can't see it. I can see it only after reopening Preview, having to force quit it. Also the sketch tool is laggy and slow. Latest version, running on Yosemite.

tried all sorts of things: reinstalled iWork, reinstalled 10.6.4 vi combo updater, gave the file to a friend who could copy/paste things just find... finally resorted to going back to an earlier version of the file and re-creating the sheet w/ charts via some careful copy and pasting out of the "corrupted" file. not sure why that worked but it did and i'm back in business.
i'm still baffled by the bug though. copying everything but charts worked fine. but charts, for some reason, would not copy (the clipboard viewer indicated there was nothing on the clipboard). very strange.
and thanks for the offer to look at the data file. due to the nature of my data and privacy obligations that wouldn't have been possible.

Copy Paste Keyframe Issue

So, I have a composition with a solid and a null object. The solid has a spiral path made using the pen tool. I copied/pasted the mask path from the solid to the null object (transform > position). However, the null object bounces all around the screen and does not follow the spiral path. When I look closely at the keyframes that were pasted, I notice that there are additional keyframes that were pasted (I assume After FX added these for some reason). Some of them even appear to be inbetween actual keyframes. How do I disable these additional keyframes? And/or, how do I copy/paste this?

Copy - paste Keyframed transforms only

Hi
In Flash CS3 is it possible to copy a Keyframed and tweened animation of say a symbol growing larger and paste the Keyframes of the scaling transform onto a different symbol on a different layer so that this new symbol animates in the same way as the first symbol.
When I try this with "ctrl alt c / v" the new symbol becomes the same as the old symbol and also moves to the same position too. I need to only copy the scale transform info in the Keyframes.
Is this possible?

I finally found out how to do this:
Select frames to copy
Right click
Select Copy motion
Select object to receive animation
Right click object
Select paste motion or Paste motion special
The latter gives a choice of which parameters to copy over.

Can I copy/paste a FF Reader pdf file to a 2nd computer that does not have FF Reader?

I have 2 computers, one has Fire Fox Reader one does not. Is it possible to copy/paste by way of a jump drive a pdf file that is saved using Fire Fox Reader to the computer that does not have Fire Fox Reader and be able to open & work with that pdf file? The second computer only has Adobe Reader installed.
I already know that an Adobe Reader pdf file moved from the 2nd computer to the first will open, it opens in Fire Fox Reader.

Yes, if you save a PDF file then you can open that file with any program that can handle such a PDF file.
So if the other computer has the Adobe Reader then that program will be used.
