Can I share audio by email

You can send audio files as email attachments, but most services impose a limit on the size of attachments - with iCloud it's 20 MB but other services may be less. I doubt anyone allows more.
This will give you a fair duration of an mp3 or m4a audio file, probably going on around 20 minutes depending on the compression ratio.
if you want to send larger files you will have to upload them to a suitable service and provide a download link. Apple's forthcoming 'iCloud drive' would be suitable, in the meantime there are DropBox and Google Drive (do not install the Google Drive application on your Mac, it's not stable - use the website). It's also worth doing this so that recipients don't suddenly find themselves obliged to download 20 MB but can download it when convenient.
Note that you should only be doing this with audio files you have created (or are of material so old as to be out of copyright). Sharing commercially issued recordings is a breach of copyright.

Please note that I am facing a chllenge while confiuguring the VNCServer on the local test Server. The Local Test Sver OS Version is Redhat Enterprise Linux Server
Release 5.5 32-bit. Please review the following error message and advise me on how to fix the vncserver issue.

Hi,
Try these 3 solutions
1. Did you start vncserver services as:
service vncserver start
2.Check that port 5901 has not been blocked by a firewall:
# nc -vz localhost 5901
You should get a connection and a termination. If you get an error, fix the firewall.
3. service iptables stop

Can I share files, especially email, between 2 Macs via iCloud?

I have 2 Macs - an iMac for business at a fixed location and a Powerbook (which is much older) for traveling. I want to share files, especially email, between the 2 Macs. Can I do this using iCloud?

Some more info is probably necessary. My Powerbook is NOT using Lion. In fact, it can't because its processor is too old. Can I use iCloud with it?
Also I use Entourage (Microsoft Office) for Mail and that's where I really need to share data, emails, etc.

An icloud account is designed to be used by one user. That user can have all his/her devices synced with the same Apple data (email, contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc.) . When two people use the same account, then problems usually occur when one user edits data that the other user doesn't want changed on their device. You can continue sharing the same ID for the itunes account in order to share the purchased music, apps, etc. itunes accounts and icloud accounts are different.
It's by far better that each user has his/her own icloud account.

Can multiple users share a single Email Account?

I set up my email account last night and everything worked perfectly. Messages downloaded from my ISP with no problems. Then I logged out of my user account and logged into my wife's user account. When I clicked on mail to test it, I realized that it is assuming she will be checking mail from a different email account. Is there a way that our seperate user accounts can share the same email account?

Technically, yes, you should be able to do this... the issue is why do you want to? If you set up her user account Mail (or whatever e-mail application you're using) preferences with the same information you used for yours (mail account name, password, SMTP information) and make sure that the "leave message on server" box is checked in the Mail preferences for both user accounts, the messages for that e-mail account can be downloaded to both user accounts. The problem is that each user would have to delete messages meant for the other. Depending on what type of mail account (IMAP, POP) it may also mean that the "new mail" status of a message may not be correct. A message read in one user's account may show up as "read" in the other. It's much tidier for each user to have their own e-mail address.

Cant share photos by email

hello my name is emily and i need HELP iwent to the share button to email a photo and a box appeared telling me to enter my sever that way i could email photos, so i entered what i thought was right which was http, well it wasnt right, it would not email any photos and an error message appeared so itried to go back and fix it by trying to email another photo to get that box back up that wanted to know what sever but i cant get that box back if i could i think it could be fixed and how do i know what server to put in? Most Internet service providers give you an email facility along with the basic access to the Internet - although some of the more recent "cut down" products do not. They would provide you with the parameters to set up Outlook Express.
Alternatively, you can just continue to use your Web based email, with just one more step. In PSA SE, go to Prefs and set the email option to be "save to folder". Now, when you use the email facility, it will save the copies of images [at the size you specify] into a folder. You can then send the email using your usual Web email access and attach the images.

Share option for email does not work after Yosemite upgrade.

Does anybody know why the share option, "Share via email" does not work anymore after Yosemite upgrade? I love this feature. It's just quick and easy.

On Yosemite, Pages '09 v4.3 no longer recognizes the Share > Send Via Email categories. You will have to export and manually drag/drop/attach documents to Mail. There is no fix.

I open several docs on Sharepoint that I need to send out immediately and waste a lot of time saving it to my computer and than opening an email and attaching it and than deleting the file bc I don't need it - its already on Sharepoint where I can access it.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

Using "share" function to Email photos in 11

When using the "share" function to EMAIL phtos, they seem to go but do NOT show up in my SENT folder on my email. Does proof the email and photos being sent show up anywhere else?

iPhoto does not have a "Sent" mailbox. The trick is to bcc yourself, a setting in the iPhoto Preferences -> Advanced
