Share button in IMovie doesn't work

Hello,
I installed IMovie 10 and made a new movie. Then I tried to share it with the share button to a file. But nothing happened.
I deinstalled IMovie and reinstalled it again. There was no change in behavior. I read others had the same problem, but that could be solved by deinstalling Mackeeper. But I don't use Mackeeper. What I do use is Cleanmymac 2, although I don't think that is the problem.
I'm using OSX Yosemite version 10.0.6.
Do I have to go back to Mavericks to solve my problem?

You have to remove imovie from the mac and some components found in the following place:
Receipts:
/Library/Receipts/iMovie.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovieUpdater3.0.3.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovieUpdater4.0.1.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovieHD502.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovieThemes.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovieThemes_Tiger.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovie_601.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovie_711.pkg
/Library/Receipts/iMovie_HD6.pkg
so drag imovie to the trash and remove the receipts of imovie from the system library
than reinstall itunes from the app store

I imported videos from photo into iMovie when I set up iMovie (obvious mistake) and now iMovie doesn't work properly, nor can I move specific videos into a folder where I want them. How do I fix this?

I even tried deleting iMovie, bought a new copy and installed it, but the folder "iPhoto Videos" is still there and I can't get new clips loaded to iMovie, especially where I want them. Please help.

The iPhoto Videos do occasionally have problems. I've seen a lot of people write messages to this Discussion group describing similar problems. The only thing that seems to get around this problem is to pull the video clips out of iPhoto then import them directly into iMovie. Once the troubles with iPhoto Videos starts, I haven't yet seen anyone write back with something that they did to fix it.
The most difficult part of doing this is the movies in iPhoto might be a little difficult to track down. But you can create a smart alum that does that for you. Go to iPhoto > File Menu > New Smart Album:
Set the first pulldown menu to keyword, second to contains, then in the last box type Movie with a capital 'M'. Then click OK. This smart album more or less does as search of the whole iPhoto Library and only displays items that match your search tearm of "Movie" exactly. In that smart album then you can find the original Movies you want to move out of iPhoto and into iMovie, <CTRL> click on the Movie clip, then choose Reveal in Finder. That will jump you out of iPhoto temporarily and into the iPhoto Library folder. From there you can move that movie file to the desktop. Move all the clips you want, once they're all collected up go to iMovie and go to the File Menu > Import Files. Then point it to the desktop where you moved your video clips.
This will put all those videos into an Event folder in iMovie and bypass iPhoto Videos altogether.

1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.

My updated version of iMovie doesn't work. It opens, shows iMovie window but completely white, just with the grey bar on top which doesn't respond to actions.

My iMovies doesn't seem to work; when I open it, it appears the normal iMovie window but white, all white, nothing can be seen except for the gray bar on top with the signs Import/Create ecc. All the options available on the gray bar on top of the window don't work, the input doesn't go through. All the options on the top TOP barr (where the battery, time, day, airport is shown) are all grayed out. I can't do anything.
How can it get worst? It can: now after opening iMovie and trying to do something, without succeeding, I cant even quit the program, not even with force quit. I have to keep the general ON/OFF computer button pressed until everything shuts down. (and this is bad for the computer too). When I turn the computer on again it says: "you turned off the computer because of a problem", I ignore and access my data normally.

Try backing up to iTunes and restoring from backup
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
Note the the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include any synced media like apps or music.

Well, any easy way to find out is to do as I suggested, login to iCloud.com & try to locate the phone. Have you bothered to try that?
If that doesn't work, you'll have to let your battery run out, then try recovery mode.

Button on video doesn't work on iPad

Hey there I have a button on top of a video but it doesn't work on an iPad which has the video controls enabled on it.
It works on desktops though.
Is there something I'm missing?

I also experienced the same problem. It's a typical IOS behaviour.

Button in PDF doesn't work

Hi,
I have create a button which I would like to display in my PDF.
Below you will see the settings I've used:
The problem I'm having is that the button doesn't work. Nothing happens when I open my PDF and click on it.
Upon exporting I have select to include Bookmarks, Hyperlinks, Non-Printing Objects, Visble Guides and Baseline Grids. The Interactive Elements settings are set to: Inlcude Appearance.
Does anyone know why this is not working?

Video button in camera doesn't work

After upgrading to iOS7 the video function no longer works. The button for video is there in the camera app but pressing it doesn't start the video recording. I've rebooted the iPad and force closed the app but it still doesn't work.

Sorry i am not able to understand what u want to say.If u give some more details it will be useful.
If i understand u correctly u want the button to be hidden initially and visible after some contidion becomes true right?
If yes call a javascript function as soon as ur condition becomes true and inside that function make the span visible by writting the following code.
document.getElementById('id of span').style.visibility='visible';
Dont forget to give an id to span. it is necessary.
U can use span itself no need of going for div
If my view is wrong tell me detaily what is ur ultimate aim?

Home button and volume doesn't work

My iphone 4 home button and the volume doesn't work. Have Besy Buy black tie protection plan but they want me to be without my phone for almost a month to repair. I can't do that. What can I do to fix myself?

If you are under warranty, you can bring it to tha Apple Store and have them look at it.

IMovie doesn't work on my Macbook pro

Hi, I got my MacBook Pro 1 month and a half ago and when I got it, iMovie was working but I didn't use it yet. So, today I tried to open it but it doesn't work anymore. It seems like it's not installed, I searched for some folders and I don't find anything but a folder of plugins for iMovie. I also tried to download it but I'm not able to. I'd like to know if it's possible to get iMovie again? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the discussions!
Your iMovie09 application should be found in your Applications folder. If it is there, but just 'not working anymore' you do not need to reinstall it.
You cannot download iMovie. It is part of the iLife 09 applications that must be purchased, or it came preloaded on your MacBook.
Try this:
Close iMovie
Go to your Home folder (the one with the house icon and your user name)
Within the Home folder locate the Library
Then Preferences
Then find the file. com.apple.imovie.plist (there may be a number, as imovie8)
Drag this plist file to the Trash. Don't worry. iMovie will create a new fresh preference file when you relaunch it.
Open iMovie and see if it works properly.
If not, post back for more assistance.

Twitter share button in notification center not working?

I finally got my code for my free upgrade to Mountain Lion... I updated my computer last night and everything seems to be working well. Other than the fact that they decided to leave the Facebook integration out without saying anything until last minute (that's the feature I was really looking forward to). But anyway I woke up this morning and I went to send a tweet from the notification center. The button is there but when I click it nothing happens. I've removed my twitter account and readded it. i checked the box to remove the share button and readded. I restarted my computer twice and nothing... Anyone have any ideas?

Back button on iMac doesn't work

The back button doesn't work. When I try to return to previous page Safari quits. Same on Firefox. HELP

I did that but it didn't make any difference. Any other ideas?
