'Share' icon and feature keeps disappearing

OS=10.2.1.2941 (but the issue started with the previous update)
Service provider= Rogers
At least weekly, the 'share' icon disappears from most things (specifically, take a picture, view the picture, can't 'share' the picture since the icon is gone).
Have to restart the phone to get the share icon and function back.
Usually, but not always, when I notice the share icon has gone AWOL, the phone is also not receiving any incoming BBMs, texts or emails, even though wireless connectivity is OK (usually LTE) and the BBM icon is present.
Once the phone restarts, pending messages are received, and all is good until the next time...
I've been unable to detect any pattern, i.e. share goes missing after x,y,z. It just seems random.

Tab page and customization keeps disappearing

For the last two days, my tabs page and customization keep disappearing. When I open a new tab, it is completely blank, with no preloaded sites. When I try to add items such as bookmarks, home, search, adblock, etc to the address bar, they appear as if they have been added but do not appear on the page, nor do they appear after I shut down and restart Firefox. I have refreshed multiple times in the last few days. At that point, I can see the tabs page, see the settings gear, and can populate tabs, pin them etc. I can also get the customization to work. Most recently, the tab page was there, and I could see sites loaded, but the images were missing and never appeared. Sometimes when I shut down the computer, the settings are all saved, but other times they all disappear and the process starts all over again. This includes when I close Firefox with the Exit command under File rather than using the red X option.

Other users have reported problems with FoxTab recently: the reviews for it over the last 9 months are pretty blistering: [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/foxtab/reviews/]. I don't know enough about that extension to help with that.
But regarding the built-in main toolbar, those are changes that Firefox itself should save. Our support article "[[How to fix preferences that won't save]]" covers many of the reasons that there might be glitches with that. Another common issue is utility/privacy/security software like Advanced SystemCare that has a home page protection/browser protection feature. This can roll back your changes between sessions of Firefox. You may need to disable that feature if any of your software has it.

Music and videos keep disappearing off my iPhone

I have an 16GB iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1.3. Seems that either since the last iOS update or iTunes update, music and videos keep disappearing off my iPhone. I'll copy stuff on and now, I'll double check that it's staying on the phone, but the next day, my music or video library will contain 'no content'. I'm not syncing any songs or videos and have 'Manually manage...' checked. I've restarted the iPhone and iTunes. It keeps happening. What I have found is that it seems to happen sometime after the songs or videos are copied onto the phone while the phone is still plugged into my MBP. It doesn't seem, and I may be wrong, to happen when the phone is not plugged in to the Mac. Another issue I've found since the upgrading is that the phone rarely syncs the 'last watched' time on any videos anymore. Any ideas about these issues?

I have this problem too but movies and music delete a couple days later. I can watch half a movie one day and the next it disappears. I can also load music and listen to it all one day then they disappear in front of my eyes the next. these have all bern downloaded from the cloud on wifi at home.

Appointments and events keep disappearing from iCal

I put appointments and events on iCal and they keep disappearing. The ones that were added up until a few weeks ago are still there, just not the newly added ones. They will be there for maybe a few hours or a day and then vanish. I'm not techie at all. Please bear with me. I have an old MacBook, that runs Mac OS X, 10.6.8 and desperately need help!

Try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

WiFi icon and progress indicator disappeared from 1st Gen iPod Touch

I've been using the OS 3.0 update since it came out, but about earlier this week I noticed that my WiFi icon disappeared from the top of my screen as well as the progress indicator. Now when I launch Mail, I can't tell if it is actually checking for mail or just sitting there. I also can't tell if I have WiFi or not unless I try an app that uses it. Currently, wifi is working just fine, I just can't get the indicator to work. Any suggestions? I've tried restarting a couple of times with no effect.

try a reset, then retry. To reset the phone press and hold the sleep button and home button at the same time until you see a silver apple. DO NOT slide to turn off at the screen prompt, just keep holding those buttons until you see the apple.
after trying that and it still doesnt work, try a restore.

My reminders and notes keep disappearing - where do they go and how can I get them to stay forever?

Hi - I'm having challenges with the Notes and Reminders apps. Data in both disappear - i.e. in Reminders I have the titles of the Reminder list but all the items in the list are no longer there. Notes just flat out go into the ether. This started upon downloading IOS 7. Reminders did not seem to be affected until just today when I rebooted my phone and all 5-7 of my Reminder lists are now titled but blank. What gives?

I just had the scare of the year with my Notes app also. I have been adding to one or two pages in the Notes app on my iPad Mini for over a year, and today when I went to look something up on one of them, ALL my notes were gone!! It was as if I was using the app for the very first time!! I nearly fainted!!
Mid panic attack, I brailled around Google and found this link. I didn't really know what to make of it other than that somehow there might be hope--my Notes might actually still exist SOMEWHERE:

After reading that, I went into Settings in the Mini. I didn't think my Notes had ever been asscociated with Gmail BUT I had occasionally emailed a Note via my AOL account on the Mini, so I looked in "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and under AOL I saw that Notes had been togggled off. It must not have been like that before or I prpbably wouldn't have been able to email out a Note as I had done preveiously, so I toggled it on.
Lo and behold--ALL MY NOTES REAPPEARED in Notes!! Whew!!!
I notice that Settings>Notes>Default Account now says AOL, not My iPad like it did when my Notes were missing, so I assume AOL was how it was set originally.

My bookmarks and history keep disappearing and the backup system isn't working (this has happened a half a dozen times in the last few weeks). Any ideas why?

I have manually recreated my list of bookmarks in Firefox several times now only to come back (days) later and find they have disappeared. Probably related (but less concerning) is the fact that the browsing history also seems to have been cleared.
My browser is set to remember my history and I haven't been using the private browsing option. The backup/restore option for the bookmarks doesn't seem to be functioning, either, because even when I select a day on which I know there were functioning bookmarks, "restoring" to that day does absolutely nothing.
The computer in question is my desktop at work, and I haven't been in the office much over the summer, so I didn't know what updates had been installed and when, so I was hopeful that updates were somehow responsible. However, the bookmarks I saved this past Friday were lost over the weekend, and according to the update history, no new updates were installed.
Before I left the office on Friday, I tried restarting the browser and the computer in an attempt to figure out what was triggering this deletion; neither of those two actions had any effect -- the history and bookmarks were all still in tact after the restarts.
Any thoughts?

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can try to check and repair the places database with this extension:

I have Windows XP professional installed. Firefox download does not start. I keep clicking on links and icons and I keep going in the circle on your web site.

I have Windows service pak 3 installed. Also IE and AOL.
Step 1. When I click on icon to download Firefox nothing happens so
step 2. I click on link below :"if dowload not starting".
step 3 Then I am redirected to the other page to click on icon that goes to step 1
Full circle for the last week every day tried at least once.
Please help.

Why do my projects and photos keep disappearing?

So I've imported a bunch of photos into Aperature, and into a specific project and then I leave thre program and re-enter the project and the photos are no longer there, I just get a untitled project with no photos in it. Any ideas? I've lost over 1000 photos and have no idea where they've gone.

So after the subscriptions disappeared yesterday, I resubscribed to Democracy Now! and Bill Moyers Journal.
This morning, I went to check iTunes... and two of the subscriptions were gone -- AGAIN! And the episode of Democracy Now! that remained behind was now listed under real Tim with Bill Maher.
I'm getting so frustrated with this... why am I having to re-subscribe to podcasts every day now?

I am using the trial version of creative cloud and features have disappeared

when using trial version for 5 days.
I was using find/replace feature, then changing all text
after 5 days - it only finds 1 item/text vs many and only allows me to change 1 item per time vs ALL.
Is this due to trial version ?
Can i get this changed ?
If i sign up to month to month service, will i be able to find/replace/change all items

Could be the scope of the search, or possibly corrupt prefs (if it happens in all files) or a corrupt document (if it happens only in a single file). See Replace Your Preferences and Remove minor corruption by exporting

I have an unlocked t-mobile and 3g keeps disappearing. what do i do?

i got an o2 iphone and i got it unlocked to t-mobile. the iphone keeps losing 3g everyday and it is starting to do this twice a day. i cant send it for repair because i have no warrenty on it. what should i do? should i restoree it will it make a difference? theres know point in me restoring it for nothing will it work and are there any other solutions for this problem. i have rebooted the phone many times it hasnt help. when my 3g disconects i just reboot it and it either happens again that day or the next day.
please help me find a solution.

Bluetooth Icon in menubar keeps disappearing.

Even when i have chosen the menubar icon to appear in System Preferences it still does not appear. When i restart my computer it occasionally reappears but this is not consistent. Has anyone got any ideas how to make it reappear permanently.

Try a couple of things.
Run permission repair
Run repair disk from your software install DVD
Trash the finder preference file (com.apple.finder.plist) and restart your computer.

I have downloaded and used Firefox on several MAC computers and it keeps disappearing . I turn my computer on and it is gone from my desktop and my menu. Why is this happening?

I just installed firefox on 2 computers a few weeks ago and each time I turn on my computer it is gone. Why is it removing itself from my Mac?

There are two boxes in the middle of the screen, one says "RENTED MOVIES" the other says "Ipad". I can't get the MOVE button to allow me to move them to the Ipad box, not one at a time, not both, and then I try the Apply. I've even tried the REVERT. Nothing seems to work properly. I even unplugged the Ipad, closed itunes and tried again. I really want to watch these on the plane tomorrow. I even took everything else off, just in case. The MOVE button is the problem.
