Share keynote on youtube

Anyone able to use the Share button in Keynote to pace presentation as movie in YouTube? What do I do with the code that comes back from Google?

I have same question.. I have seen this posted at least twice and NO ANSWER FROM APPLE.. this OP was in APRIL??? what gives?
I guess im going to export to quick time then try to upload to youtube -- the "success" copy this code and paste in your app page then nothing i can do with this "code" -- seems like multiple folks have this problem
anyone get an answer??

Keynote to youtube not working

I selected Share/Send To/YouTube and a window opens saying the Keynote file is being converted to movie... after a few minutes a screen says the conversion is completed... I checked my youtube account but the converted Keynote file is not there.
Is there a way to verify a Keynote actually does successfully convert to YouTube?
Is there a way to use Share to YouTube to my desktop?

After a number of attempts I'm going to export as mov and post that way.
Also if I export as html I expected it to run automatic but the only option is manual. ps. (the exported text file is missing the suffix .html, so you gotta add it)

iCloud is not designed for sharing data with other people: you will need a third-party alternative such as DropBox or Sugarsync.

From Keynote to YouTube 1280 x 720 HD

Hello,
I'm struggling to directly export from Keynote to YouTube on HD definition, namely 1280 x 720 my presentation...
The Keynote menu seems to only offer 640 x 360 or 480 x 272
Any method, is it possible or just blocked by Apple ?

I've tried this before but it does not work unfortunately.
What I mean here, for some reason Keynote will create some time sync anomaly between audio and video, then when uploading to YouTube, it will reject the file or make awful result.
So far, the only working method I've foudn to export from Keynote to YouTube is to use SEND sub-menu in Keynote. It works fine except I can NOT send 1280x720, it just restricts to 640 x 360 or 480 x 272

How do I privately share Keynote file with PC user? ShareFile is having trouble with Keynote support. iWork is no longer functioning and I can't tell if ICloud supports this feature. When I export to a Powerpoint all links are lost. It will take me hours to redo in SkyDrive Powerpoint.

I have spent a lot of time doing a piece of homework that i was going to post on youtube and send the link to my teacher - having done my homework after about 5 hours in total I have found that the new imovie system will not let me share? i know how to do it but it will not respond to me clicking 'share' and there is not 'export' button either please help?

Open the Movies folder of your User account and drag the iMovie Events folder to your Desktop.
Reinstall iMovie 10 and before launching it drag the iMovie Events folder back into the Movie folder.
Launch iMovie and I hope you won't have to redo your movie.

No permissions on share - Keynote?

I have an installation of the newest Keynote on an iMac with Mavericks. When saving a Keynote file to a Windows server share, it will allow it to save, but when opening from that share and attempting to work with the file, it will not let me save any changes, and instead tells me I have no permissions to save in that location.
The perissions are fine, and I can open any other programs files in that same folder, edit, and save them without any problems like this, it seems to be only affecting Keynote files.
When using the files locally on the Mac, they can be edited and saved just fine, just not from on the server share.
I have tried to connect to the server share with smb, afp, and cifs just to see if any made a difference, but I get the same error all around.
What can I do to be able to save and edit Keynote files on a server share without this permissions error saying I don't have the permissions that I obviously do?

That being the case, Apple has stated that recorded narration will not work in the keynote widget (see iBooks Author: About the Keynote widget - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5067).

Self-Playing presentations and Recorded presentations with voiceover narration may not work as expected. Readers will be able to view and manually advance your presentation, but recorded narration and timings won’t be available.
The same article seems to indicate that some audio files should work in the widget, evidently as sound objects.
Keynote files can contain media—such as images, movies, and audio—but don’t use a Keynote file just to add media to your book.
I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work yet though. If we can figure out how to get sound objects to work you could still put the audio in your widget, just break it up into a seperate sound file for each slide, and advance to next slide on click. Someone would have to figure out how to get the sound objects to play like they should though...
With regard to the other audio files: That is weird that Apple told you to use .m4p format for audio. Their online documentation says to use m4a. The following is an excerpt from iBooks Author: supported file formats - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2838.
Video and audio files: M4V, M4ANote: For the Media widget, you can add a video file or an audio file (in a format QuickTime supports) to your book. You can convert other types of files using iMovie, QuickTime Player, or Compressor. For the HTML widget, the suggested file formats are MP4 video files and M4A audio files.
Either the tech who emailed you saying to use .m4p is mixed up, or their online documentation is wrong.
Please let us know if changing to m4p works for you. That may help others out.

I have a question about sharing video from gallery on youtube. Every time i try upload 10min video hd quality - app freezes and not respond. Tried on different devices and result is same. This is strange, because no alerts about size or quality. Help, please.

What is the file size and duration of your Timeline that you are trying to upload to Facebook and YouTube?
Please determine at this time if you can export your Premiere Elements 10 Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive and then upload that file to Facebook or YouTube at the Facebook or YouTube website. See one of the Share/Computer/AVCHD presets for the type type (.mp4).
Also, if you have not already, refresh Online Services, See Edit Menu/Preferences/Web Sharing.
Also, if you have one, turn off router for about 30 seconds and then turn it back on again.

I made a iMovie project and it is not letting me share it on youtube.

I made an iMovie project that is over 15 minutes long and I cannot cut it down at all because it is for a project. It will not let me share it to my Youtube channel and does not show up. Please help.

Thanks for trying. Still doesn't work. I created a new Google/YouTube
account and checked in preferences to be sure that it was automatically
picking up web services. Was sure to match email addresses in both apps.
No luck. I will do it manually until the day I stumble on the solution.

Can't Share Video w/ YouTube Due to Length

I can't share a video to YouTube, because it is longer than 15 minutes, however, I can upload the same video on youtube.com. The max time limit has been increased on Youtube, why won't Quicktime allow sharing?

Apparently the old limit for upload size has not been removed from QuickTime even though YouTube increased the allowed sizes. Whether this is a limitation imposed by Google for uploads not performed through their web pages or just a failure by Apple to remove the limit I don't know. For now, you'll need to upload using the YouTube web page or perhaps some other upload utility.

Stabilization disappears when uploading through Share Vimeo/Facebook/Youtube.

Hey all,
I just shot a wedding video on Saturday. (I have five videos prior to this already uploaded on the respective three websites, all through iMovie 11 using the same method of clicking Share then each site).
Now, whenever I upload my latest video (fully edited, stabilized, etc.) the stabilization is gone by the time the video is to each site. The quality actually ends up worse than before it was stabilized. I use camera stabilizing equipmnt so there is hardly any tremor or sway in any of my shots so this should not be an issue. Some of my shots now shake like someone was jumping up and down very quickly. I rewatched an unstabilized version of my video in iMovie 11, QuickTime and I made a DVD to test on the TV. Yes there is some shakyness (because it is unstabilized) but, it's far superior than what is being uploaded into Vimeo/Facebook and Youtube.
So I tested a stabilized version doing the same three methods. Turns out near perfect. No shaking, very stable and smooth pans and shots. I reuploaded to Vimeo/YouTube and Facebook again last night. Same results, all stabilization gone and what appears to be an over exaggerated shaking of the camera.
Any ideas? I have never had this problem before this latest upload. I have OSX Snow Leapord up to date (refuse to buy Lion) and iMovie 11 up to date. It's becoming rather aggrivating as I rely on these sites to work correctly to help promote my business.
You thoughts and exptertise are greatly appreciated.

Share presets for youtube share option

Hi all, I´ve done a search over the net and haven´t found anything.
Does anyone know which presets applys share when you choose youtube option?
I´m working with some footage recorded with a contour 1080 hd cam which is 1280x720 60fps native, done a video file with this preset and uploaded to vimeo but I really don´t like very much the result, doesn´t seem to behave well fast screen changes and movement on old computers (even with hd off enabled on vimeo)

What did you set as the Premiere Elements 11 project preset? See what it says under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and there for Editing Mode, Timebase, and Frame Size. I suspect it is 1080i.
I am almost certain that you are operating from a 1920 x 1080 16:9 @ 29.97 interlaced frames per second project, but without confirmation on that not 100% sure.
Assuming that you are at those settings and you are not seeing any black borders in the Edit Mode Monitor, then

Also, when after I choose the Preset, I get the Google form in which to insert my Username and Password. This is not the same as the Username and Password I have to sign in to YouTube. I thought a YouTube form would pop up.
Since this is an upload to YouTube, I would think you would use your YouTube ID and Password. The way that I have set this up for myself is to have YouTube, Google, and GMail all linked. That takes care of everything. So, see what happens with just your YouTube ID and Password and then we can decide what next on that. (I am assuming that you have separate ID and Password for Google and YouTube).

since my video is in Spanish with all the metadata I will insert in Spanish too (title, description, tags), will YouTube accept that? I registered with YouTube in English. Will I have to reregister in Spanish?
Not sure about that. I doubt it, but not sure. From what I have read, say your video is in English, in the upload process you can add tags for other languages such as Spanish, French, etc. I will give that a try and see what that looks like.
