  • For many years, Device Manager has never found a new driver.

    Hi,
For many years, more than ten years.
    Look back, please.
Has Device Manager found a newer driver, when we are eager for?
    No, it has always said
"The best driver software for your device is already installed".
This is not only the case on Windows 10, but also Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP ...
Every version of Windows could never search even a single new driver.
Hardware manufactures have released newer drivers already.
Also, they have been certified by MS, i.e. WHQL passed.
I hope Windows 10 will be the first version that can find a new driver.

    @Ashidacchi,
Keep in mind, this "Search Automatically" option only searches Windows Update - it doesn't crawl the entire Internet to find the latest driver.  Many times Windows Updates is months, if not years, behind the newest driver available from the
manufacturer.  So you will probably continue seeing this result - I wouldn't count it as an issue as Microsoft doesn't upload every single latest driver available from every manufacturer.  It would just be too much of a hassle - for MS and for Intel/AMD/Realtek/NVidia/Lenovo/HP/Dell/ASUS....
the list goes on and on.

  • EMMA Not Working for Billing & Invoicing Cases

    Hi
I have configured case type and case category for Billing Block - Message type AJ063. Cases are not getting created through EMMA. Where as in ECC 6.0 EHP 0 the same was working. Is there any Note required for ECC 6.0 EHP 2. To be precise Current version is SAPK-60202INISUT. Also to add this we see message that jobs preapred. But when we looked into EMMA executed with Radio button Prepared Jobs enabled then No relavant jobs shown. Same thing happened with AJ098 also.

    Hi PRESII,
This problem is generally observed in ECC 6.02 support level 03 and below. after you upgrade it from ECC 6.0.  SAP has done the chnages and incorporated the same in ECC 6.02 support level 04. I suggest that you upgrade your support level 4 or later and your problem should be solved.
    Cheers,
    Amin

  • Constant request for billing info in manage team "We're sorry, the billing information on file ..."

We get the following message once a month "We're sorry, the billing information on file could not be used for this payment. Please update your billing information." - Every month.  No card declines, no authorizations.  No matter how many times we input the same card info, new card info, same message (instantly, which is an indication **nothing** is happening on the back end)
I call Adobe Support or chat and raise hell and it gets fixed for that month.  Is anyone else getting this message?  A Corporation as large as Adobe could invest in a usable billing system..  There are many merchant service providers out there they could use.  Any other users getting this nagging issue?  or is Adobe doing this on purpose to encourage annual billing?  We are a CC for Teams Customer.

  • Devices Not Showing Up in Device Manager After WinXP Install

I installed Windows XP Professional CD after re-formatting and partitioning the hard drive in my ThinkPad T42 (2378-FVU).
After finishing the install and running Windows Update for an eternity, Device Manager still can't detect several items.  (I was able to get my wireless networking to work after installing a driver from Intel.)  These are the "Other Devices" in yellow listed in Device Manager:
      - Ethernet Controller
      - PCI Modem
      - Video Controller (VGA Compatible)
Yes, I dutifully downloaded and installed these and other device drivers from Lenovo's website.
Why doesn't WinXP SP3 detect my devices?!?
I saw other posts about a WinXP Pro install on T41 Thinkpads with the same problem.  The recommended solution was to install the device drivers "twice."  I'm sorry, but I don't understand what that means, twice?  The solution also seemed to indicate that the install is supposed to be done at two different locations.  But, only one path is listed in the solution and my drivers are installed in the solutions' paths.
Hopefully, someone can be more explicit about how to do the driver installations twice.
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Device Manager ! FN button doesn't work

Portege R835-P56X Bios updated to Version 3 The laptop came with 64 Bit but I did a clean install with Windows 7 32 Bit because many of my programs and games didn't work with 64 Bit.
I can't install Toshiba Value Added Package,Toshiba PC Health Monitor and Toshiba eco Utility because they are 64 Bit.Pressing the FN button doesn't work,it does nothing at all using 32 Bit.With 64 Bit it worked fine with screen icons coming up when I pressed it.I wonder if the FN button only work in 64 Bit or maybe Toshiba Value Added Package contains the FN button driver? If anyone knows where to get Toshiba Value Added Package 32 Bit that may fix this problem, please let me know thanks.
I have a problem in Device Manager where it's showing ! Other Devices PCI Simple Communications Controller.I took a screen shot of Device Manager with 64 Bit installed just incase I ran into problems.Looking at the 2 Device managers side by side 32 vs 64 it looks like Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter is missing from the 32 Bit Device Manager.
I'm assuming this is Intel Wireless Display but I'm not 100% sure.Because every time I run Intel Wireless Display I get this error message.Unable to load the Intel My WiFi Technology Dll file
Anyway there is no Intel Display driver for 32 Bit so I had to download that from Intel website. There is however Intel Wireless Display for 32 Bit which I have installed but the ! in device manager remains. So I uninstalled Intel Wireless Display and downloaded the Wireless Display driver 32 Bit from Intel website hoping that might fix the problem. But the ! in device manager remains.
I have also tried windows update but it can't find any driver for Hardware.I have added 2 screen shots in Attachments

Well after alot of searching on Google I have finally found out what this PCI Simple Communications Controller is.
It's the Intel Management Engine Interface and lucky for me there is a 32 Bit driver. Now I have no more ! in Device Manager and I have uploaded an updated screen shot.
But now there are 3 questions.
1 What happened to the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter? It was listed twice in 64 Bit but doesn't show up in 32 Bit Device Manager.
2 Why do I still get the error message when starting Intel Wireless Display?Unable to load the Intel My WiFi Technology Dll file even though I have found the driver for ! in Device Manager
3 Why doesn't the FN button work?It worked fine in 64 Bit but in 32 Bit it does absolutely nothing. The same goes for the touchpad on/off button which worked fine before in 64 Bit.But now with 32 Bit presing it doesn't turn the touchpad on or off,It does nothing.I hope Toshiba releases drivers for both of these features.

  • Where can I find the Labview device manager?

    Hello out there,
I hope you are able to help me. I'm searching for the Labview device manager
and if you can tell whrere I will find it, perhaps you can also tell me how
    to handle it.
    Thanks und best wishes,
    Schloemer

I'm unsure about what exactly you are looking for. Most NI devices are configured using the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX). Which you should have installed with LabVIEW. Other non-NI devices are configured by there own configuration utilities. System drivers and settings are done through the OS device manager. Could you tell us exactly what you are trying to do.

  • Query Header note of a billing invoice

    Hello,
In a query for billing invoices I need to add the Header note. I cant find a way to do that. Is there a table or a logical Database that has that item included?
    regards Andreas

    Hi
So in your query you have to add an additional field and some abap code in order to fill it.
If you go to header of the text, you can find out the keys: ID, OBJECT, NAME and SPRAS
The ID and OBJECT can be hardcopyed in your code (because they'll be constants), the NAME is the invoice number (perhaps it can be the client (mant) too, the language should be depend on the language of customer.
Just as I said, u can use fm READ_TEXT, now the problem will be transfer a text saved in a table (so many rows) to a single string (your additional field for output): that means this field has to be sufficiently long to display the header note, but probably the last part of the note sometimes can be truncated

  • 2nd HDD not recognized in Win7 Disk Manager, Shows in Device Manager, BIOS, Win7 Repair CD

    Hello,
I am trying to add a newly purchased HDD to my laptop as the secondary HDD.  The primary is a 160 GB SSD.
Primary SSD: Intel 160 GB SSD model SSDSA2BW160G3H
Secondary HDD: WD 750 GB 7200 RPM SATA/300, Model WDBLHJ7500ANC-NRSN
Laptop: HP Pavilion dv7t-7000 Quad 17.3" laptop
Laptop Config: Intel i7-3720QM 2.6 GHz Quad Core, 8 GB RAM, nVidia GT650M, 160 GB SSD
    Laptop BIOS: F.24
    Laptop Date of Birth: 5/24/2012
    OS: Win 7 Prof x64
Shows up in BIOS (can run diagnostics OK).
Shows up in Win 7 Prof Device Manager.
Does NOT show up in Disk Manager.
Checked device drivers for Win7 Prof Device Manager HDD, have the latest.
Checked service manual, can't see anything that I missed.
Booted with Active@BootDisk (Win PE rescue disk), drive showed up as uninitialized.
Initialized drive, partitioned (one large), formatted NTFS.
Booted with Win 7 Repair Disk (Win PE), can see the drive in command prompt, able to write a text file to it OK.
Still won't show up in Win 7 Prof in Disk Manager.
Any ideas?  Maybe a firmware upgrade for the laptop?  Some kind of incompatibility with the HDD and SDD such as different dirve modes (don't believe that Win7 has issues with IDE versus AHCI devices)?
I had trouble adding a 2nd HDD to my dv7-6000 laptop; it finally just showed up months later. Is this common with HP laptops?
I am stumped and any help is appreciated.  I checked the Internets and didn't see anything other than HW issues. I need this to work for the new semester that started today.

    More testing:
WD Data Lifeguard (Western Digital's HDD diagnostics) also won't see the HDD after booting with Win 7 Prof off of the SSD.
Moved the HDD cable from the 2nd HDD to the primary header (SSD disconnected).  Was able to install another instance of Win7 on the 2nd HDD OK; this proves that the new WD HDD and the secondary cable are OK.  Moved the cable back to the 2nd header (still no SSD) and the computer booted off of the secondary HDD connected to the secondary header OK.
Added the SSD back to the primary header and booted into the instance of Win7 off of the SSD.  Disk Management can't see the 2nd HDD, WD Data Lifeguard can't see the 2nd HDD; however, Device Manager is able to see the 2nd HDD OK.
Ran Intel SSD toolbox on SSD; no issues.  Ran WD Align by Acronis on SSD (checks for advanced format alignment of 4K boundaries); it's already aligned to 4k boundaries.
Connected HDD to pri header, booted Win7 Ultimate on HDD.  Ran WD Data Lifeguard on HDD; it's fine.   Booted into WD Align by Acronis CD, ran WD align against HDD; it's already aligned to 4k boundaries.
Put HDD on pri header, SSD on secondary header and booted into Win7 Ultimate on HDD.  Able to see both drives in Dask Management.
Put SSD back onto primary header, HDD back onto 2nd header, booted into Win7 Prof on SSD.  Disk Management can't see the HDD again...
Updated laptop BIOS from F.24 to F.2D rev A (Install Shield Wizard confirms that it is for Win7 x64 as well as Win 8.1).  Didn't fix the issue...
Ran Intel Driver Update Utility.  I have the Intel RST (Rapid Store Technology) driver v 11.0.0.1032.  Did not state that I needed to upgrade this driver.  This is latest version on the HP website.
Everything works except having the SSD connected to the primary header, having the HDD connected to the secondary header, booting into Win7 Prof on the SSD and trying to see the HDD in Disk Management.  Unfortunately, this is the configuration that I need to work.
Any thoughts on what is causing this?  Hardware issue with HP Laptop?  Power supply issue?  Bad HDD controller?  Bad install of Win7 Prof on SSD (appears to run fine otherwise).

  • Item not relevant for billing - Batch Management

    Dear Experts,
I'm testing the Batch Management with the configuration detalied on the Building Block - J19 from SAP. So I've created a new item position called YG05 which is working for the batch spliting.
But now the problem is that when I'm billing with Tx VF04 or VF01 it gives me the following error and doesn't create the invoice.
VF 044 The item is not relevant for billing
Now, the problem fixes when I go to Tx VTFL and change the position TAN in the field Copying Requirements from 004 Delivery - Related Item to 003 Header / Dlv. - Related. I can do the billing, but when the system print the invoices it print for each position type, I mean this.
"Before the system printed 3 copies of the invoice, but now not only print the 3 copies, now it send printing the 3 copies and also 3 blank pages (i assume that those are por the YG05 position"
If anyone have and advice if the fix i did first is correct.... And also have a solution for this last problem. Please reply...

  • Invoicing the line irrelavant for billing

    Hi Gurus,
We had created one text item category ZTR as an  item category which is not relavant for billing and pricing.
There is a material with item category ZTR which is used in sales document type : CR. This material is not relavant for billing and hence this material should not be considered for invoicing.
However, when i am trying to invoice the Credit memo request with billing type G2 ( credit memo), this item is also considered for billing and hence we are getting an error : Item 10 G2 CR ZTR not relavant for billing.
I have a question. When i am flagging a material as not relavant for billing, why is the line considered for billing ?
There is no copy control maintained for that item category.
    please help.
    regards,
    Krishna

    Hi Lakshmipathy,
In the VTFA transaction , there is no copy control maintained for this item category.
However, while creating the billing document, (since the document type is irrelavant for delivery) the item ZTR is also considered for billing.
    regards,
    Krishna
