Share Monitor: Job stuck in queue "Canceling..."

After chosing to export a video, I check the status in Share Monitor and there's a job stuck in the queue in "Canceling..." status that's keeping the new export from starting.
How do I clear the queue?

This other post in the same error isn't helping me.

  • PSC 1410 - print job stuck in queue

Sometimes my PSC 1410 stops printing part-way through a page: the warning lights "jam" and "cartridge" come on, although the paper path clears after pressing On/Resume when the spoiled sheet emerges (undamaged), and the cartridges are at about half life and have been aligned. Apart from the waste of paper and ink, the great problem is that the stuck job remains in the queue and does not respond to Cancel or Delete: even switching printer and computer off and on still leaves the job stuck in the queue sometimes, when it has been known to restart printing automatically.
Can anybody tell me a sure-fire method of clearing the stuck job out of the queue ?

  • Project server 2010: job stuck in queue with state Waiting to be Processed (Sleeping)

    Hi,
I have a job in the queue that is stuck. The job type is "TimeSheet Update Resource" and the job state is "Waiting to be processed (Sleeping)". This is happening with only one user. Other users can edit, save, and submit timesheets normally as it appears.
Can't figure out the problem! I tried restarting the queue and timer service with no success. Any suggestions much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    George

Since you already identified issue is user specific, I think now you need to have a look in to ULS log to undestand really whats happening in the background.
Try  editing the user from PWA>>>Server Settings>>Manager users
Click on the user and without making any change click on save, monitor the queue

  • Wireless print job stuck in queue

C5180 print jobs from network are stuck in queue and won't print.  I've reinstalled driver, etc.  Does print from a USB cable connection.  Any ideas?

I've got a similar problem with the officejet 5510 (multifunction) attached by USB to XP computer.  I can print direct (connected by USB) and wirelessly from my windows 7 laptop.  I can print direct (USB) from my Mac OS 10.4.11  However, when I print wirelessly from the Mac, the print job shows up in the que on the XP machine with the 5510 attached, but wont print.  I have to clear the spool from the command line.
I've set up the 5510 wirelessly by using the advanced windows printing via Samba, by Lpd to the IP address, and by simply adding the printer in the work group.  All three ways result in network traffic (I see it on the firewall log) and result in a document queued.
since there is no 5510 officejet (mutlifunction), I have set up the printer with the cups/gutenprint 5.2.7 profiles using several different printers - generic officejet, deskjet 950c, officejet 5110, designjet 5500ps, designjet 5000PS HP 9085MFP.
I can't get the print job out of the queue/spool and into the printer.
    Any thoughts?

  • Can BPMon monitor jobs stuck in 'Released' mode?

    Hi SAP Experts,
I would like to monitor certain jobs stuck with the status of 'Released' as seen in SM37. Can BPMon do that kind of monitoring? Please advise, thanks.
    Regards,
    Kim Yong

    Hello,
the Start Delay in BPMon should wok anyway it just depends on the start procedure you use.
In your case without a pre-defined start time you should chose start procedure "use job start condition" then every job is picked up if the name fits the critieria. On with this start procedure the start delay corresponds to the information in SM37.
If you use the start procedure "by time" instead then you have to enter a planned start time and then BPMon measures the deviation from this start time, so here we are talking about a real start delay from a business perspective. In the former case we "only" talk about a technical delay that you see in SM37.
For the purpose described below you should go with the first option I described.
    Best Regards

  • Print Job Stuck in Queue - can't print

HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909g Series. Unable to print documents. The HP Solution Center indicates that my desktop and the printer are connect. I attempted to cancel all print jobs. All were cancelled with the exception of one. That job continues to indicate, "Deleting - Printing." I've powered off/on on both the printer and the desktop. Unplugged cable from unit and wall. Waited 10 seconds. It did print a self-test diagnostic page generated from the PC, but it won't print any of my documents. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem and how to resolve it? Thank you.

Thanks for the post.  On this one, I've included a couple of links below that should assist you in getting past this error and back to printing.  Good Luck!

  • Network Print Jobs Stuck in Queue

    Hello,
I have, perhaps, the most frustrating problem on the planet.  In my home network, I have a HP Color LaserJet 2600n connected to my main PC, with 2 other PC's on the network.  All 3 run Windows 7.  Printing from my main PC works fine, but if I try to print over the network, the print job always gets stuck in the queue.  I can see it stuck in the queue on my main PC, but I can't do anything about it.  I can't delete it, nothing.  If I restart the spooler, then it magically prints and clears the queue, but it's annoying to have to do that all the time.  I've reinstalled the drivers several times to no avail.  Tips?
    RPGillespie

I have a similar problem, I have a directly connected 1300 and a network P3015. The 1300 is connected via USB, the 3015 is connected by RJ45 cable right to the router. Both printers have their print queues get stuck, but only from my HP Pavilion Elite HPE running HP-installed Windows 7. All the other machines in the office can use the 3015 printer perfectly well. One is an older Pavilion using XP-Pro, another is a Dell using XP-Pro and the third is a Lenovo laptop using Windows 7. All our toners are not refills (seems like a stupid suggestion that the toner cartridge could cause a queue to lock up). The problem is definitely between my machine and the HP printers. I have a Brother printer and a couple of Seiko/Epson printers that all work perfectly fine.
Rebooting several times a day is getting old.

  • Print jobs stuck in queue using P4015n LaserJet

I setup a P4015n LaserJet printer for one of my clients using the RJ45 connection from the printer. My client has 4 computers 2 Windows 7 64 bit systems, 1 Windows 7 32 bit system and 1 Windows XP 32 bit system.  I set the network ip address, subnet mask and default gateway manually on the printer. Sometimes printing from the Windows 7 64 bit systems the jobs get stuck in the queue and you have to delete them before you can print again. The other 2 computers do not have any issues printing and they where setup using the drivers from the CD. I downloaded the latest PCL 6 drivers for the Windows 7 64 bit systems.  Looking for some suggestions.
    Thanks

Ok the problem happened on one of the 32 bit computers so it is not a 64 bit issue.  Still looking for some suggestions.
    Thanks

  • Print jobs stuck in queue after printer goes auto off

Hi all!We have an HP LaserJet M125NW printer in the office, which is connected directly to the network (wired). The problem is, once the printer goes to "auto off" mode, the print jobs get stuck in the queue, and we need to restart the printer every time. After the restart, it works fine, until it goes auto off again. The device has a fix ip, and it can be seen on the network, everything sems okay, but it still doesn't print. I tried different computers, different operating systems, nothing works. Could anyone help me with this annoying situation?

, Welcome to the forums  I read about the printing issue you're having with your LaserJet M125NW, that will not seem to wake up when you send the print job to be printed out. Below is what I would first suggest trying. Select Setup, System Setup, Energy Settings, Wake/Auto On Events, and in that menu, select "LAN Job" to see if this will help wake the printer up when you send it a print command. Also ensure you have the power to the unit plugged in directly to a wall outlet. Avoid power bars and surge protectors, which ensures the printer is receiving the full power it needs.  Let me know what happens, good luck

  • There's a task at my Share Monitor. I can't cancel it. What should I do?

I finished editing the video and went share it. But it just stoped and I can't cancel it. WHAT CAN I DO KNOW?!

If it continues hanging, I'm afraid you'll have to force quit.
What kind of job was it and what was the workflow?

  • Officejet printer 6700 deleted printer job stuck in queue

Any solution for getting rid of a deleted document from the print queue as it is preventing me from printing new documents.  I have already typed NET STOP SPOOLER del /Q /F /S "%systemroot%\System32\Spool\Printers\*.*" NET START SPOOLER in Dos Prompt but it replies by saying it does not recognise ***
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi,
From the Desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  Into the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.  Browse down to the print spooler service, right click it and select Properties then click on the Stop button.  Now browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS and delete the job inside this folder - You may need to click a prompt to gain the appropriate authority to open the PRINTERS folder.
Restart the computer and you should find the document has been removed.

  • Where is the share monitor?

When I am exporting a film in FCPX to a DVD, the Share Monitor button dosen't show in the processing window. Also when the processing is done the DVD disc is still empty. I have been able to burn DVDs before in FCPX.
Please help me fix this problem!
it is supposed to be a "Share monitor" button next to the "Cancel" button

The monitor is available but it says that I have 0 batches even dough I'm processing a project.
Trashing it with Preference Manager didn't seem to work.
When I first discovered the problem I updated FCP to 10.0.5, but it didn't solve anything.
    Some other information:
It seems like I can't export my project in any way. Tried to export a DVD to the hard drive with no results. The Share Monitor just says that I don't have any batches. However when I try to process a DVD the processor starts to work and space is taken from my hard drive even dough no new files can be found.
    Appreciate your help!

  • Hp C310 e all in one. Print that is stuck in the print queue, cancel does not remove

hp C310 e all in one. I have a print that is stuck in the print queue, cancel does not remove says deleting. I have tried shutting down printer, closing word doc, multiple canel all prints. Any Ideas

    Hello mackice,
Try these steps below to clear the print queue. The steps are listed for Vista and Windows 7 and would be slightly different for XP. If you are using a Mac then the steps below would not work. Please advise what OS you are using.
    Option 1)
    1. Click on start orb
    2. Type in search window: "services.msc" (without the quotes)
    3. click ok
    4. Scroll down to Printer spooler service and click on it in the right side window.
    5. On the left side click stop the service and wait forthe process to stop
(Do not close the window yet. You will have to restart it here later.)
    6. next delete the print job in the printer queue
    7. then restart the spooler service
    8. Resubmit your new print job.
    Option 2)
If that doesn't clear it, the next step would be to stop the spooler
    service as stated above
    Go into windows explorer
(Print job data is collected and stored in a spool file in the spooler
    folder.)
    It is located in:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Your print job will show 2 files there Example below:
    00002.SHD
    00002.SPL
Delete the files located in there. There may be several of them
depending apon how many print jobs you submitted. You will have to
resubmit your print jobs all over again.
Next go back to services window and restart the spooler service
