Share more than one photo library to apple tv

Is it possible to share more tha one photo library to my 3rd gen AppleTV from my MacPro running Lion?  Today I loaded iPhoto with a different library, but my AppleTV can't access it - it only shows the current one.
I want to stream all of my three iphoto libraries to my apple tv, though one at a time of course.  Any ideas would be welcome. I hate to think I would have combine all three into one honking huge photo library

So I think we are saying:
1.The AppleTV is only able to display the currently loaded library in iPhoto
2. When a different library is loaded in iPhoto, the AppleTV setup will have to be completely redone to display the photos
Is that correct? And thanks for your help.

  • HT3819 Why can't I use my apple TV to share more than one iTunes account?

My partner and I both have seperate iTunes accounts, understandably. And we both use our appleTV, understandably. Why can't we set up apple TV to play music / watch shows from both of our computers? I hope this is not because I haven't read the manual.

You CAN use the ATV to share more than one iTunes library. Homesharing however require you to use the SAME apple ID on both computer. I have homesharing turned on both my girlfriend and my computer with me signed in on both computers and the ATV. Both itunes librarie show up on the ATV as long as both computer are ON.

  • Issue selecting more than one photo

Anyone else having an issue selecting more than one photo at a time in the iPhoto Library. I want to send a whole batch of birthday photos to my sister and I'm forced to send one photo at a time.
Holding neither the shift or Command key while I click a photo does nthing. This is a new issue. I didn't used to have this problem
    iPhoto 4.0.3

Quit iPhoto. Try moving the "com.apple.iPhoto.plist" file from your user's "Library >Preferences" folder to the trash. Try iPhoto again.

  • I want to order photos on iPhoto. I have logged in one photo, and then my choices are cancel and buy now. How do I order more than one photo at a time?

I would like to order more than one photo on iPhoto. I have downloaded one picture, and then my choices are cancel and buy now. I would like to download other photos to have them printed, too. How do I do that?

Wich version of iPhoto do you have? You need iPhoto '09 or '11 to order prints.
Make an album of all photos you want to order in the same order.
Then select all photos at once, when you use Share > order prints.
You should see a panel like this, where you can mark the quantities. The screenshot is from iPhoto 9.6:

  • Can't move more than one photo

    iPhoto v9.2.1, OS X 10.6.8.
This is a really strange error; Normally you are able to mark several photos and then grab one and move them all. But when I'm choosing one of them it just deselects. Ie, I can't move more than one photo at a time!
Everything else in iPhoto works, and everything else on the computer as well (at first I thought that the COM key was pressed, it reminded of how you select and deselect objects with the COM key).
I am able to solve this if I trash the preference files, but then I'll loose all album settings etc.
Is it possible to solve this any other way?

    You won't.
Simple test, rather than dragging to the trash, just drag that plist file to the desktop. Start iPhoto. All that's reset are your factory settings - library location and the like - and these can be reset.

  • How to delete more than one photo at a time

Apparently there is no longer an iPhoto trash. So you don't drag photos to the trash. Instead you hit the delete key and then a second click on delete when you get the message "Are you sure you want to delete this photo." Has anyone found a way to delete more than one photo at a time, though? This is really a hassle if you have just imported 500 photos and are going to end up deleting 450 of them.

I didn't say use the command key and delete. I use the command key for selecting random photos. Then I right click and choose delete from the contextual menu.
I always use right click, but the command-delete does work also in that album.
Depending on what album you are in, there are different menus. In a user created album, the right click would show "Remove from Album" & "Delete Photo". I noticed that was the same for Last Import Album. But at the same time, under image, you will only have Remove from Album. If it is a system album, you will only get the delete menu from either the right click or from the menu under Image.
What you have to remember is if it days delete the photo, it will completely delete it from the library and all albums. If the menu says Remove From Album, then it will only be removed from the album you are in.
In PhotoStream Album, you get only Delete Photo from the right click menu, but under image, you get only remove from album. So if you want to remove an image from PhotoStream, you have to use the top menu so it won't get deleted from the library. If you want to remove a photo completely, you would use delete and it will be removed from the library and photo stream.
So, there are different processes for the different albums. I don't know if that is intentional or just oversight. That may change in the future.

  • Select and Drag More Than One Photo

I can no longer select and drag more than one photo at a time. With one photo it works fine. If I select more than one, I can't move them, so I have to add pictures to albums one at a time, which is rather tedious.
This has only started happening recently. Possibly after updating to 10.6.8????
    Anu ideas please?
    iPhoto09, v8.1.2

Then I would try a reinstall:
    To re-install iPhoto
    1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5:  Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows:  In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
    /var/db/receipts/
    2c: on 10.7 they're at
    /private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
    3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List.

  • Can't have more than one photo desktop..

I am merely trying to have more than one photo on my desktop. I select the event in iphoto with the pictures, hit share and set desktop. Nothing. One picture makes it on. Settings for desktop pop up and then nothing happens...
Is there something wrong with iphoto or is it me??

Well, from the Preferences>Desktop & ScreenSaver option you can select multiple photos from iPhoto to display pictures (one at a time) at various intervals from 5 seconds to once a day....
I'm not sure how it would work by doing it from iPhoto, but the folder you see above was on my Finder with a selected set of pictures in it that I saved from iPhoto into that folder. I clicked on the "+" that you see in the picture above, and it went to my Finder to allow me to select a new folder. I selected the one that you see there now "Photo Artwork", then set the options below to Change the picture every 5 mintues and to display them in Random Order.
That would do the trick for you. Sorry I don't know more about how to do it from iPhoto. If you post your question in the iPhoto forum, I'm certain that the experts there would probably be able to answer the question you posed above....
Hope this is of some help....
    Cheers,

  • Is it possible to email more than one photo at a time with the iPhone? Thanks

Is it possible to send more than one photo in an email using with the iPhone? Thank you in advance for your help

Yes.  Open your camera roll in the thumbnail view, tap the arrow button on the top right, tap all of the photos you want included in your email, tap Share at the bottom, tap Email.  Note: all email providers have limits on the size of emails that are permitted so be careful not to try to add too many or it may not be delivered.

I am unable to upload more than one photo.  I have tried to hold down the shift key and highlighting the remaining photos.

If you are using the Internet Explorer (IE) browser than you will only be able to upload one file at a time. This is per browser design by Microsoft. If you want to upload multiple files than use another browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
If you are not using IE and are seeing this issue then please share which OS version and browser version you are using.
