Share my Outlook calendar with icloud?

I use Outlook with the company's exchange server and want to publish the exchange calendar with icloud so that I can then share the icloud calendar with someone else. The company blocks directly sharing the exchange calendar so I'm looking to publish it/sink it with icloud calendar.

Hello ramirofromstrockholm,
The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note:   You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.

My work computer is a macbook pro. Windows users have invited me to share their outlook calendars, but I can't see them. Are there resolutions to this problem (other than convincing everyone to get Macs?).

  • I want to sync my Outlook calendar with iCloud but NOT my contacts

I use Outlook at home (on a PC using Windows 7) and that's where the vast majority of my work is done.
I would like to use iCloud on the PC to synchronize my Outlook calendar with my other iOS devices (iPhone, iPad), but I do NOT want my contacts shared.
When I go to the iCloud control panel on my PC, there is a single box to select Calendar and Contacts - but I don't see a way to do calendar and not contacts.
Does anyone know how this can be done?

    Not possible.

  • I cannot sync Microsoft Outlook Calendar with iCloud in Windows 7...

When I go to open my Calendars in Outlook, the program crashes and kicks me out...  I looked in the iCloud/Calendar program - it tells me I have an unsupported browser...  downloaded the recommended Sarafi browser, but it doesn't help.  This all began when I needed to change my apple i.d.  I did so, and then went to update iCloud.  Then I deleted the other iCloud account and added the new one, the problem began.  Any ideas???  Thanks!

When I first began using an iphone in 2008 I had mobile me.  It allowed me to sync between my iphone and my PC and on my PC I had Outlook.  It would sync both my calendar and contacts, which was important for me.  When icloud came along it generated and icould calendar.  I still have my outlook calendar, which is my default.  I have made my icloud my main calendar and since it is in outlook it works fine for me.  If someone sends me a meeting notice and I accept it goes to my outlook default calendar, not icloud.  I just drag it over to my icloud and everything synchs for me.  I view several different calendars in Outlook.  One from a group I belong to that uses gmail, one that uses a .ics.  I may be viewing several calendars, but they all show up on my phone, PC and macbook.  If someone wants just one, then my system will not work.
Since my primary calendar is icloud and it appears in Outlook it is no different for me.
While this may not work for everyone it has worked for me for several years.
I can enter dates or contacts on my phone, macbook or pc and they all sync.
By the way, the same holds true for contacts as I described above for calendars.  I have both an icloud and personal folders list.  I use icloud and just make sure i copy depending on which one the contact goes to.  If someone sends me a contact by default it goes to my outlook personal folders.  I then just copy and past to my outlook.
Not perfect, but it works for me.
    God Bless,
    Mike

    Hi,
How do you color code the calendar items? From conditional formatting or from categories?
Please make sure the user has been given reviewer or higher calendar permission to view items colors in Outlook. About how to share calendar in Outlook, please refer to:

Re: check that the appointments in my phone are going into iCloud calendars....exactly how do I do this?  I fear this is a really stupid question!
My iCloud account is set up with my Apple ID as one email account (for example [email protected]) which is the email account I use to sign up for internet sites like Amazon, Apple, etc, so that I can differentiate vendors/mass emails.  But my default calendar on my iPhone is in a different email name (ie [email protected]) which I use for most communications to friends, relatives, etc. and it is this account that holds most of my appointments.  To further complicate things I have other email accounts that I use for business/professional and community work.  If I want all my calendars to show on my iPhone AND sync to my iCloud, do I set this at the phone level or the iCloud level?  or both?
Let me clarify....It looks like if I go into appointments that I previously set up through my personal account (ie above [email protected]) and edit the entry on my iPhone, selecting the iCloud "home" calendar within the entry, it will then sync to my iCloud account, no problem....do I have to do this to EVERY entry I have? or is there  a way to name my personal account as one to sync to iCloud?

Prior to having my iPhone I only had one type of Calendar in Outlook
I know have 'Calendar 5' on my Outlook, but that doesn't show up on my iPhone.
iPhone does give me several other numbered Calendars – but no ‘Calendar 5’
I need to figure a way to get all this synched correctly

I tried to share my iPhone calendar with my husband using iCloud. Now he has both our events on his phone but my phone only has just my events, not his.

D13, thanks for these details. This an awesome clue. Are you able to connect to this Wi-Fi connection with other devices? Let's try a few steps to resolve this issue.
First, reset the network in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network and power your device off/on.
Secondly, delete the Wi-Fi connection in Settings>Select your Wi-Fi>Forget this Network and the try to connect to that Wi-Fi again.
Lastly, try creating your Wi-Fi connection. Tap Settings>Enable Wi-Fi ON. From Choose a Network, select Other. Enter the Wi-Fi network name. Select Security. Select the Wi-Fi network type then select Other Network. Enter the Wi-Fi network password then select Join

  • Sharing select ms outlook calendars with iphone users

I use MS Outlook (on Windows PC) and use iphone where I have my calendar synced with outlook via iCloud.
I would like to share some select calendars with some people who also have iphone and icloud account.
How do I have them view these select calendars while not all my calendars ?
    Many thanks,
    Peter

You have to use a computer - not possible to do on iPhone that I know of - grant access and then the recipient will be able to view - but again will need full Outlook functionality - not possible on the phone - (well I have not tried to use the new Outlook app)

  • Can I share my apple calendar with an android user?

Can I share my apple calendar with an android user? I use Apple products and my partner uses Android products i.e Samsung Galaxy S3. We want to share our calendars with each other.

Yes, you can share your calendar with other iPhones.
    1. You needs to have iCloud calendars
Start Calendar app > tap Calendars (top left) > Choose a calendar you want to share and tap the blue ">" then Add Person.

  • That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud???

That's great I can see my iCloud calendar in Outlook, but I can't see my Outlook calendar in iCloud.
Any ideas on this one? I don't want to copy the calendar into iCloud, because they wouldn't be in sync. How do I view my Outlook calendar in iCloud so that I can make changes in either place?

I have good news!!  I was waiting until I had adequate time to try this recommended fix in case I had any problems with it.  Then I decided to enter a new event in my Calender even tho it was showing "No Calenders".  As soon as I entered the new event my whole Calender came back!  Yeeaaa!  I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

  • Share Private Exchange Calendar with Entire Organization

    Outlook 2010, Exchange 2007.
    Scenario:
We have a few users who need to share their Exchange calendar with everyone in the organization. Right now, their private calendar is synced to a public folder calender using a third party tool Add2Exchange. This way, everyone can easily browse the Pubic
Folder tree in Outlook and find a (almost live) copy of these calendars.
    Problem:
The sync software sometimes fails, and this causes conflicts in scheduling as the private and public calendars are out of sync.
    Idea For Solution:
We want to delegate direct access to these private calendars, and give everyone Read-Only access to them, so there would be no need for a sync.
    Problem With This Idea:
Users can no longer simply browse their Outlook sidebar and find calendars this way. They must go through the process of "Open User's Folder", Chose calendar, chose the user, attach the calendar. This would have to be done for everyone in the unit,
    and for multiple calendars.
Is there a way I can automate this? I just want to delegate the calendars, and then have them automatically show up in everyone's calendar list next time they open Outlook. Is this something that can be scripted and deployed through AD? I can't seem to find
    anything online to address this.
Are there other ideas I should consider?

    Hi,
As what ED Crowley says, there is no solution in AD or Exchange server to automatically map shared calendar to users’ Outlook client.
We can create a public folder “Share Calendars” for sharing a user’s calendar to all users. Then add Publishing Editor permissions for UserA, UserB to publish their Calendar to Share Calendars. And UsersA and UserB need to manually update the Calendar of
Public Folders in their Outlook client. For more information about
How to Add Permissions for Client Users to Access Public Folder Content in Exchange 2007, please refer to:
