Share Outlook Calendar by subejct or only by an specific day

I will like to share only Tuesdays or by subject from my outlook Calendar, how can I do that?
Juan C Rivero Sharepoint Administrator [email protected]

Hi,
Generally, we can share one specific day’s calendar items to others by the following steps in Outlook:
1. Open Outlook and switch to Calendar panel.
2. Right-click your default calendar that you want to share. Click Share >
E-mail Calendar.
3. In the opening Send a Calendar via E-mail window, Select
Specify dates in Date Range option.
4. Then select the Start date and End date to specify a shared date.
5. Click Detail to select permission.
6. Click OK to add the shared calendar in E-mail.
Then we can send the email to others.
If you want to share calendar by the event subject, I think we can follow Ed Crowley’s suggestion to create another calendar for sharing.

  • Share Outlook Calendar with iCal

Someone on our staff has Outlook and is trying to send me an invitation to share a calendar.  I have been given permissions, but I cannot see the calendar.  Anyone have any answers?

    Greetings,
You may wish to contact your Server Administrator to find out how the calendar is made available.
iCal can accept "CalDAV" calendars. Do a search in the iCal help menu for "Setting up a CalDAV account in iCal"
If your server is not providing the calendar as a CalDAV then you can add your Exchange server to iCal. Do a search in the iCal help menu for "Setting up an Exchange account in iCal"
    Hope that helps.

  • 2 computers; Add Outlook calendar data to T3 only from 1 computer; sync with the other

I have 2 computers.  How do I add the Outlook data from one computer to the T3 without syncing totally (adding the T3 data to Outlook).  Then I need to do a total sync with the other computer.  Any suggestions.
    Post relates to: Tungsten T3

A word of caution: When setting a conduit to Overwrite, any existing data in that PIM database will be entirely replaced by the overwritten data.
Your situation sounds like you wish to add work Calendar items onto a personal device. Will you be comfortable having no personal Calendar items if you overwrite the Work Calendar when you arrive at work until you can sync with your home computer?

  • Itune sync with outlook calendar

everytime itune sync with outlook calendar,
a calendar folder under Outlook calendar is created.
iphone only sync with the newly created blank folder
    therefore, nothing.

    Answer Jbieber16:
Normally, when I sync my HTC (Pocket PC) with my notebook, I just plug USB cord to HTC (micro USB head) and notebook (regular USB head).  Microsoft Mobile Device Center will automatically start and then sync data between HTC and notebook (sync Microsoft Outlook data, musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in designated folder).
When sync completed, Microsoft Outlook's contacts, calendar, notes, emails as well as musics, photo, and Microsoft Office files in HTC and Notebook will be identical and updated.
Without USB cord, it can be synced via Bluetooth (cordless).
Note: I posted this question because some of my friends using iPhone told me that "data of Microsoft Outlook will partially sync to iPhone via iTune, not all data".  So I check before sync Microsoft Outlook data with my new iPad2.

  • Similar functionality to Google/Outlook Calendar advice required

    Hi all,
I have built an Apex app that is used to create jobs and assign them to an engineer. It is a straightforward app and we are now looking at adding some new functionality, specifically I have been asked to provide a diary type view of the jobs scheduled for each engineer to help with the allocation of new jobs.
I have tried the out of the box Calendar region in Apex and it isn't quite what I require and I was wondering if anyone had some advice and guidance that they could offer to help me out?
The easiest way to describe what I would like to achieve is a Day view similar to the Google Calendar interface, or Outlook Calendar, where you have the hours of the day down the side of the page and for each engineer their jobs that have been scheduled for that day is shown in a block that covers the time that the job has been scheduled from and to i.e. 9am - 10.30am.
I have searched this forum and the internet for something similar that I could adapt but have so far have not found anything, I love the example in this post:
however I think it is not quite what I require and is more advanced than my simple JavaScript skills could handle!
In order to visually illustrate what I have in mind, the following is a good example:
My data is structured pretty much as you would expect where there is a table of jobs with columns for job no, engineer, date start time & date end time, job description.
If anyone can provide me with some tips on how to achieve what I have explained, or even a different approach that you think would satisfy what I have discussed then I would really appreciate it.
    Best regards,
    Stu

I've found a work-around to this. I import the ICS event into "Calendar", then visit it in iPhone Calendar and change its calendar to Google Calendar, it then synchs properly.

  • Can more than one iPhone share a MS Outlook Calendar?

I successfully installed the iCloud control panel on my PC and was able to set up full access of my Outlook calendar on my new iPhone 4s.  I wondered if it is possible if my wife (using an iPhone 4) can share the same Microsoft Outlook Calendar on her phone too.  If it's doable, could someone let me know how to do it?  The iCloud "Help", explains below.  I think that these are the instructions on how to set it up from the Calendar on a Mac and not a PC.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!

Go to icloud.com/calendar and sign in using your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud). If you’re already using a different application on icloud.com, click the iCloud button to switch applications.
Click the Share button (shown below) to the right of the calendar or reminder list in the sidebar, and then do one of the following:
For reminder lists, go to step 3.
    For calendars, choose Private Calendar.
Type the invitee’s email address in the Add Person field and press Return.

I sync using mobile me - over the air, my wife syncs via itunes, we keep several calendars in ical.
You can look through the manual as well. It may help you figure out what iphone can do.

I use Windows Vista and Microsoft Outlook. After migrating to iCloud, the calendar of iCloud tranferred only part of my past Calendar items to the folder iCloud Calendar in my Outlook. How can I transfer all the entries? In iCloud's site all are there.

If the calendar is on iCoud.com, all you would need to do to get it on your phone is go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign into your iCoud account and turn Calendars on.  The iCloud calendars will then download to your phone.

  • I am trying to find out how to sync my outlook calendar, which is my default calendar, with my gmail calendar so that I can share it with my wife so she knows when I am going to be out of town for work.

My primary calendar that I use on my iPhone 5 is my outlook calendar.  In the past, on other phones, I would sync this with my gmail calendar so that I could share it with my wife so that she would know when I am out of town for work.  Any suggestions for doing this or is there a better method to accomplish the same thing?

    Hello SMEvans32
You can use iCloud to share the Calendar, that way she will always be up to date on that particular section of your work calendar. If you want to use iCloud, I would recommend backing up so you have a safe copy of your data.

Hello Schimi. The Time Capsule is a kind of product that offer you two possibility:
    - To use the TC as a router or as an external HD.
The difference between WPA and WPA 2 are:
    - They are two kinds of internet connection.
WPA uses dynamic key encryption , which means that the key is constantly changing and makes the invasion of a wireless network more difficult than WEP . WPA is considered one of the highest levels of wireless security for your network and is recommended if your devices support this kind of encryption . Newer routers offer WPA2 security . WPA2 is compatible with WPA , but offers higher security level . In fact, it meets the high standards of many government agencies . If the router and computer support WPA2 , this should be your choice.
If you need any help or if you find some difficult setting up it you can contact Apple Support.
I am sure that they can help you with that.
I am sory for the delay. I holpe that you solve your issue.

  • HT203521 In iOS8 I can't turn off shared iCloud calendar alerts. I share iCloud calendars with 3 others and am constantly getting their alarms for upcoming appointments. Settings- Notifications- Calendar- Shared Calendar Changes turns off changes only.

Have had new iPhone 6 for 2 months, using iOS 8.  I share iCloud calendars with 3 others and I am getting bombarded with their upcoming appointment alerts.  There seems no way to turn this off.  I went to Settings->Notifications->INCLUDE(Calendar)->Shared Calendar Changes and turned everything off, but this only blocks alerts about new events or changes to events being added to the calendars, it does not block the 5-minute/10-minute/etc. alarms that go off immediately in advance of the appointment.  There used to be a setting in iOS7 in "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars" way at the bottom to turn off alarms from shared calendars, but I don't see that in iOS8.  Any ideas?

Finally figured this out when I read jodiemcneill 's post about Google calendars.  Thanks!
Reposting the basic idea: to turn off event alerts from shared ICloud calendars, select the Calendar App, then click the "info" (i.e., the circled red 'i') icon next to the shared iCloud calendar to be silenced. Go down to "Notifications" and turn the slider off for "Event Alerts: (Allow events on this calendar to display alerts.)"
For good measure, you can also turn off the slider for "Show Changes" to prevent the calendar from displaying messages when shared events are added/modified/deleted, although this can be done "globally" for all shared iCloud Calendars in Settings->Notifications->Calendar->Invitations (turn off all sliders, click "none" for Alert Style).
This has been a major pain in the ... neck ... for the past 3 months.  So glad to start the new year with a suddnely-much-quieter iPhone 6.

    Hi Joyce,
Go to Outlook > File  > Account Settings > SharePoint Lists and check availability of that calendar
If it's already there just remove it

  • Share windows outlook calendar with outlook:mac calendar

My work computer is a macbook pro. Windows users have invited me to share their outlook calendars, but I can't see them. Are there resolutions to this problem (other than convincing everyone to get Macs?).

    Hello ramirofromstrockholm,
The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note:   You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.
