Share pic's to photo stream does not work
When I manually add pics to Photostream on iPhoto on my Mac they do not appear in the photo stream at all.
I use share on the bottom right hand side, or just drag them to Photostream in the left hand side taskbar.
There are no error messages, but the pics do not show up on the photostream on any device.
Other photo's imported or taken with my iPhone do show up in my Photostream on all devices, so that part works.
I'm attempting this to get some older pics onto my iPad to create collages etc.

I followed all of the steps to iCloud setup on PC and Photo Stream does not work
I have a Windows 7 PC, and an iphone 4. I upgraded to IOS 5 and did the iCloud setup with the download Control Panel app and set it up. However, when i take a photo with my iphone, the photo goes to my camera roll and does not go to my photo stream and there fore not to my PC photo stream folder on my PC.
So far Photo Stream does nothing. Also, Are we supposed to be able to see our photo stream if we login to iCloud? When logged in to iCloud, I see my contacts and mail and other stuff bu no Photo Stream.
Am I missing something?

Jay AbbottI figured out the answer to my question. Photo Stream will not sync unless your iphone is connected via Wi-Fi. Now I have to go find a Wi-Fi network to see if I am correct. I read the maunal, wow, what a concept.

You can stop new photos being automatically added to Photostream in iPhoto from iPhoto preferences > Photostream.

I have a different Apple id on my PowerBook from that on my iMac and iPad. Photo Stream does not connect to my Powerbook. How do I change the Apple id in iCloud on my PowerBook? Will this link all 3 machines to PhotoStream?
You can't simply change the details.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button) -
Has anybody any idea, why my jpeg-picture upoaded to Photo Stream does not appear on my iPhone S4 like all the other pictures before?
Ok, it's a 4 year old picture, but taken with a digital camera as jpeg...! This cannot be the problem really, but I'm despaired after trying since days...! Thank you all for any hint you've got for me!If you asking me, I would suggest to additonally use a second storage service which also allows you to store your pictures over the 30 days period. I personally use Dropbox with automatic upload for that (https://db.tt/cMEgDUFZ), but there are also other storage services like Flickr for example.

In my iphone, photo stream also counts in storage space but as per Apple Photo Stream does not occupy storage space. Any info on this pls.

You won't see it on icloud.com. It is only accessible by using an iOS device or computer that is signed intoyour iCloud account with photo stream enabled.

Photo Stream is not working in Apple TV.
After upgrading to 5.1, Photo Stream is not working. An "Unable to sign in. The iCloud Terms of Service have changed" indication appears when trying to connect.
What should i do?

Datek Streamer does not work with JRE 1.3.1_01
I am unable to load the Datek Streamer applet (www.datek.com) when using the JRE 1.3.1_01. I have tried using the JRE with Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2, Netscape 6.2, and Mozilla build 2001112104. In each case, the message "Java applet loading" appears in the space where the applet should display. Then the message disappears, leaving just a blank display area. This problem does not occur with Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 using the Microsoft JVM.
Any suggestions?Glad to see I'm not the only one. I've tried JRE 1.4 beta3 on NS 6.2.1 and datek streamer does not work on that setup either. Read through a bunch of the forums and looks like there are some related issues. The two I saw crop up the most were NS 6.x internal embedding issue and a LiveConnect security hazard issue. Not sure if anybody figured out a permanent solution though.
Running Win2K, NS 6.2.1, JRE beta 1.4. Datek Streamer applet dies right after it loads the last file (usually the datek logo gif).
If anyone finds a solution/patch please post.

Turn Photo Stream off then back on then restart your iPad.
Restart your device: Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on.
