Share printer with OS 9 - Please HELP!!!
hi, i bought an epson R220 photo printer to my imac running 10.4.6 and i want to share it with a mac running 9.2.2. The two macs are connected already by ethernet.
Can anyone tell me how i can do this???

Unfortunately the USB Printer sharing in OS 9 and the Printer Sharing in OS X are not compatible. Some people are able to successfully use the information in KB 107060, Mac OS X 10.2, 10.3: Sharing a printer with Mac OS 9 computers... but many are not.

Won't like to what? Are you saying you can't access your camera roll from the Instagram app? Check Settings>Privacy>Photos and make sure Instagram is set to "On". You can't use the share button from a photo in your camera roll to post a picture to Instagram if that's what you're trying to do. That's not a feature of iOS.

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

want to share printer with pc. Thinking about print server, something from dlink products, which are cheap enough.
Are they compatible with mac?
Are there any other option? (sharing through pc or through mac is not convinient in my opinion).
Thank you very much in advance.A Printer properly connected to WiFi is like another computer workstation on your Network. It should have a FIXED IP address similar to the other devices on you Network but less than xxx.yyy.zzz.254, and it needs to know the WiFi password (so you have to have entered that password into the Printer at some point). When set up correctly, you can Ping it at its IP Address with Network Utility and it will respond in a fraction of a second.
When you use Add-a-Printer to set up a WiFi-attached Printer, DO NOT use Default Browser. It is an IP Printer, and uses the IP Printer tab and its IP Address to configure. Look in the manual to determine whether it should be IP + Internet Printing Protocol, IP + Line Printer Daemon , or IP + HP Jet Direct Socket. -

No it doesn't. Sometimes it make a sound that it should when connecting but that is it. Never actually charges or syncs. And it is a brand new cord.

Since you have already done some sort of reset on your Airport Express, you might as well make sure it was a "hard reset" - follow the instructions for a hard reset found at:

Since your Mac is running Leopard, you need to configure the Airport Express using the Airport Utility found in the Applictions->Utilities folder. You cannot install the old software that was supplied on the CD you got with the Airport Express.
In future - if you do something bad with network settings on your Mac, do NOT try to fix it with the Airport Utility. The Airport Utility is only used to configure the Airport Express - and since the problem you have created is on the Mac and not the Airport Express, there is no need to be using the Airport Utility and especially there is no need to be resetting the Airport Express. -

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -
