Share reminders

When "Reminders" was integrated to "Calendar", it was possible to share lists of tasks.
Now it is impossible. I can't even change this property to my list that I'm sharing currently.
I can't understand why this function has been downgraded...?
Will this be fixed?
Thanx

It's actually still there.  The only place I've been able to share a Reminders list is from the Reminders App in Mountain Lion.  Hover your mouse over the list name for a couple seconds and a share icon appear on the right. Click it and share away!

  • Share reminders lists now that app is outside?

I used to share reminders on icloud.com by finding the list on my calendar app. There was this feed icon and after clicking it you could send the invitation to share the reminders list, now icloud has the reminder app outside the calendar one and I can't find no feed icon.
Does anyone know how to share reminders lists now? I use them a lot in the office with coworkers and with family.

Apparently the only place where this function is available as of today is Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Provide feedback to Apple that this function needs to be returned to icloud.com, or at a minimum added to iOS 6.

  • How do you share reminders with others in new (as of 14/09/12) iCloud?

Now that reminders has its own 'app' on icloud.com, how do you share reminders lists with others? It has all changed in the past 24hrs or so. It used be possible by sharing from the calendar 'app' on icloud .com, now there is nowhere.

  • How share reminders with Iphone, Ipad

Please, I need help, I cant share reminders with other people.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You aren't supposed to, other people don't want your reminders, if they do then you are using reminders instead of calendar, which can share calendars.

It appears to have been removed, perhaps by mistake.  Hopefully it will be restored soon.  You can suggest this to Apple here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

  • How to Share Reminders Lists

    Hi,
I have a quick question regarding the sharing of Reminders lists. The biggest part is I can't figure out how to do it. Though I've found many tutorials that say that there should be a section of the Calendar app on iCloud that shows lists in your Reminders app I don't see anything in the Calendar app that shows my lists.
When I log into iCloud online I see there's two apps, one for Calendars and one for Reminders. Though I see the 'share' button for calendars in the Calendars app I don't see any 'share' button in the Reminders app. And because the Reminders lists aren't being shown in the Calendar app I can't share from there either. I've checked on two different computers (a PC at work and my Mac at home OS8) as well as on my iPad and it's the same across the board.
Hopefully this is enough information. Seems like a simple question but I guess it has a more complex answer.
As an example. I'd like to create a grocery list and then send an invite to my wife's iPhone so she can share and edit that same list. She has her own iCloud account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Adam

  • How to share reminders with iCloud users ?

    Hello,
With Lion it was possible to share a "Reminder" through iCal to members of iCloud...
I unfortunately did not find this essential feature in the new Mountain Lion Reminder Application.
I cannot immagine Mountain lion would be a downgrade on that very useful workgroup feature...
The only, temporary, work around is to use the web version of iCloud calendar which still permits sharing of Reminders with iCloud members.
    Am I missing something ?
    Best regards,
    Carlo

Does the "Facebook integration" enable sharing of reminders with icloud users, even for people not using facebook ?

  • Trying to share Reminders

I'm trying to share reminder list and it is very frustrating.  Currently, all of our reminders (whether added by iPads, iPhones, or iCal) show up on a reminder list originating in my husband's iCloud.  I can add to it, edit it, and view it on all our devices.  I wanted to created a seperate reminder list for my business (to help with sorting features) and share it with him.  I can not figure out how to do this.  I have tried creating the calendar on my iPad, but it will only show up on my iPad and my iPhone but not his or the home computer.  I have tried creating one on the home computer in iCal, but can't figure out how to share it to iCloud or our iPads and iPhones.  I hope this makes sense, but I've been working on this for about two hours now and am starting to go crazy.

  • HT202297 can i share reminders?

just upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion, and love the new features.
one question - now that reminders are separated out from the calendar app - you can share calendars with another person, can you share reminder lists?

thanks to David C. Menzel for the excellent suggestion.  this workaround is fine - it will be great if this can be added to the native app, or on the iphone app, but doing it on the iCloud web interface is just fine.
    i appreciate the help!!
(this sharing functionality is finally allowing my family to dump the google calendars that we were sharing, which sometimes lacked full functionality.  i'm happier on the Mac apps!)

  • How to share reminders

I am running Mountain lion on a 13.3 MBP Early 2011.  Safari browser.  I have IOS 6 on a iphone 4 and 2012 ipad.  How can I shre reminder lists with other through their iCloud account?  I have seen tutorials online about sharing through calendars on iCloud but, when I look for the 'reminders' calender on icloud.com, it does not exist.  I do not use icoud for calendars on my device, I am set up through google calendars.
Reminder list sharing is a really important feature for me and keeps me using wunderlist although I would like to switch to reminders in whole due to location based reminders, Siri use on my ipad, etc.
Thanks in advance for your help!
    John

You can share reminer lists by using Reminders.app of Mac OS X 10.8.2.
    1) Place the pointer over a reminder list's name
    2) Click the broadcast icon that appears
    3) To share the list with someone, enter the person's email address (or contact name), and then press Return.
    4) Click Done.

  • How to share Reminders List by using iOS 7

I can't find any button or settings that can share the List to my friend. I can do it in iOS 6, or even in Mac OS X Mavericks!!! But what about iOS 7 ?!?! Anybody know how to do that?

Share it on icloud.com as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm4bb3fa6e.

  • HT4970 Has Apple documented that it has removed the ability to share Reminders in IOS 6?

I have upgraded to IOS 6 and can no longer find out how to Share my Reminder lists. Based on what I can see - it appears that the functionality has been removed - but I can not find any thing directly from Apple that confirms this. I am relatively new to the Apple world and I am astounded that they would remove functionality in an upgrade. Is this common?

Hi, I have a similar problem. I live in the UK in an area where the 3G signal is weak. Ever since I have used iphone (since iphone 3G) - I have used it with 3G switched off when at home. That way it was forced to use the GPRS (or 2G) mobile signal from o2.
This worked fine, and I had 4 or 5 bars of signal always. If I enabled 3G at home that would drop to between 1 bar and NO SERVICE. This made using the iphone as a telephone virtually impossible as call quality was rubbish and often dropped out.
I used wifi for internet so it was never an issue, and I switched on 3G when out if I needed it.
Since the ios8 upgrade APPLE have taken away the ability to switch between 2G and 3G. Instead the button now switches between 4G and either 2G or 3G, this either is decided by the iphone itself depending on the strength of the 2G and 3G signals.
I have spoken to APPLE twice about this. The first time yeaterday they flatly blamed o2 and said it was nothing to do with them. So I called o2 and guess what; yes you got it, they blamed Apple. IT reminded me of when Steve Jobs got up on that stage and denied there was ever a problem with the iPhone 4 antenna a few years back.
So I called Apple back, and today the guy I spoke to did seem to understand my problem and sympathise with it. He said I was not alone and that hopefully it would be fixed by an update.
Luckily for me I am only 3 months away from an upgrade, so if they dont fix it by then I am going to take the leap and jump to Android.
The short term solution - and you need to be quick if you have already upgraded to ios8, is to downgrade to ios7.1.2
This is not officially supported by Apple, but it you google it, it is quite easy, you have to download an ipsw file and then do a restore in itunes, but you will lose everything on the phone, and you cannot back up from a backup made with ios8.
I hope they sort this out, it has driven me mad over the past 2 days.
We need the Toggle between 2G and 3G to be re-instated.

  • Cannot share Reminders

    Hello,
I'm using OS X Server 3.01 and I would like to share a task list in reminder app on OS X Mavericks. Umfortunately it doesn't work. Sharing calendars work like a charme.
I'm quite sure that it depends on OS X Server. Using Reminder-App to share a task list with a calendarserver (Version 3.2 - quite old, no push notifications) on my linux box works perfectly.
Has anyone else the same issue or a solution?
    Thanks

Just ran into exactly the same issue setting up my own server at home.
I think we will have to face it: Apple's new "apps" have lost much in productivity.
My 1993 Psion agenda was better than anything I have seen since, but Psion went bankrupt.
My paper agenda that I used from 1975 to 1993 had a to-do list which was visible in each week.  This was done in PAPER, remember?
And I want to share my to-do list with the calendar of my wife, via the server but this is now impossible.  I'm using an Android phone.  No problems until Mavericks.  So how do I get my to-dos onto my phone?
Shall I finally have to go Linux anyway?
    Sigh.

  • How to share reminders on iphone

I did a cool thing on my macbook where I linked my grocery list with myself and my mom, so that we could have the same grocery list on our phones. I did this by just hitting the little wifi looking button next to the list. Is this feature available to do on the iphone 4s too? I tried to do this on just my iphone but couldn't find the same button.

tasks are reminders, that are synced with your apple id. If they use your apple id - they should not have a problem. I suspect that your ownership of the list only allows them reading privileges on Outlook and hence does not sync to their apple id.

  • Can Apple let us to share our Notes with others so that they can also use their own Notes app to edit and view the shared notes?

This function would be tremendously useful for students sharing class notes or for family members or friends sharing daily-life notes.
Similarly, it would be wonderful if we can share Reminders, so that if I have a grocery list on my reminder and I can share it with my husband so that he can follow it on his way home.
Same suggestion for Photos (sharing an album with a friend).
Same suggestion for sharing documents so that a friend can view and/or edit the same document.
Perhpahs sharing with friends through iCloud is one way to go, but may be Apple engineers can have better solutions.

Submit your feedback directly to Apple using the appropriate link on the Feedback page:
    http://www.apple.com/feedback
Meanwhile, there are lots of programs that will let you do the things you want to do. Evernote lets you share notes. Remember The Milk lets you share reminders. DropBox and GoogleDocs let you share documents. Picasa lets you share photos. Those are just some examples.
