Share Screen Cuts Off Along With Videos

Recently, during my video calls the share screen cuts off both webcams go out along with it.
When trying to turn the webcams back on they just keep circling and we would have to end the call and call back for our webcam videos to show up.
Also the webcam video randomly gets blurry even when the connection is good and shows its still white on the connetion.
When trying to turn the video off and back on to see if it would help it will come back clear for a few seconds then revert back to a blurry image.
The video is normally a rectangle shape when its clear, but crops into a small square when blurred.
Once again have to end the call and call back.

Yes. The MBair uses magnets to detect when the screen is closed. When you move a magnet along the edge, the MBair thinks you've closed the screen and puts it to sleep.
Edit: This won't hurt your MBair.

Video capture screen cut off at the top

I am waiting for my new elements 9 to show up on the licensing page, and perhaps this will solve the problem I am having in version 3 (I know, but like I said I am upgrading!) but I would like to import some video from tape and I have a problem I have never seen before. When I open the video capture page all is well except the top menu portion is cut off which presents a huge problem since the button to go back to the main page when import is complete is not there. The only way out is good old alt-cntl-del to close the whole program. Does anybody know how to fit the screen so everything shows? All my other applications fit perfectly. Its been getting bigger and bigger for the last week but until now I had the very bottom of the icon to click on. Cant wait for 9, not sure why it takes so much time to make it available for download and licensing...

Quicktime regularly updates so I assume I have the latest. I do have 3.02 and I just called up the program to get the version I am running and I see the problem has gone away. I now see the whole screen and am able to grab the edges and adjust the size, go figure... I am still waiting for my version 9, I expect this problem will not show up again once I update. Screen cut off

Hi, since upgrading to 4.1 having loads of problems which I was just about to deal with but I've just noticed something else now, the top line of info is half cut off and if I then touch on i.e. the phone button at the bottom and then the home button to come back out to the main screen the the labels along the bottom buttons are now cut off, it would appear the resolution of my screen has changed. Have no idea how! Can anyone help?

If anyone else has this it's a feature of the phone (thank goodness) found out had to tap with 3 fingers to zoom back out.

Q5 screen cuts off at top and left side

I've had my Q5 for a week. Today I noticed the screen is cutting off on the top and the left side.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness shows up, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. If this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

Left side of menu screen cut off on tv but not on computer?

i just finished making an imovie that i transferred over to idvd & burned a few dvd's...brought it home & tested it out on the computer & it looks great!
but when i use it in both our tv's (one that is a wide flat screen & one that is more 'standard), the left side of the menu is completely cut off. the video plays ok (although on the flat screen lcd tv, everything is stretched out), but it is just several letters in the title that are cut off.
any way to fix this?

I didn't see anywhere to set the screen size, so I'm not sure (I used a computer at work to make it) but I have the same problem when playing it on both the widescreen 16:9 and the standard 4:3 tv's in my house, so I wasn't sure if it had to do with that?

When I get a call on Viber swiping the screen cuts off the call

Everytime I get a call on Viber I need to swipe the screen and enter my PIN to answer the call.
When I swipe the screen it imediatly cuts off the call.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you using iOS7?
If so, there is a way to swipe Viber's notification (specifically, and not the general phone lock), which leads you directly to your incoming call.
Otherwise, try opening Viber after you swipe open your phone, and see if the call is taking place.
Note that in general, iPhone's behavior is so that 3rd-party applications cannot override the iphone's lock and PIN (unlike regular cellular calls).
Does the problem persist?

Edges Cut Off on SWF Videos

My videos in F4V files play perfectly in the Adobe Media Player. I then import them into Adobe Flash Professional CS5 for progressive download and publish them using SWF files. When I play the SWF files, parts of the videos near the edges are cut off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Audio off Sync with Video Podcast....

Somehow I always have trouble downloading Video Podcast. I Usually find myself having to download each episode 3 or times because iTunes hardly gets it done the first time, and when It's done successfully, the audio is off sync with the Video. I have the latest version of iTunes

I've seen that problem in several threads, both here and in the Mountain Lion forum. I tried to replicate the problem but was unable to do so... so it's not a problem effecting all Macs. Try posting here - in the Mountain Lion forum - and see what you get as a search. There's one specific "More Like This" to the right on this thread but there doesn't seem to have been a solution posted.

Why do I get a black screen and no sound with video in iTunes 8?

Just downloaded the new iTunes. I don't have any video playback when I click preview in the store. No video when I try to play anything that I've already downloaded. The play cursor moves but I have a black screen with no sound. I'm hoping this is just a temporary glitch.
Any recommendations? I'm using the latest version of Leopard 10.5.4 on an Intel iMac.

Yeah! Problem solved: It's a QT issue.
Cause: Mac Update Software downloaded a faulty QT.
Solution: Download QT from Apple's QT site.

Audio is off sync with videos on Ipod Touch.

My Ipod touch does not want to seem to play the audio in correct sync with my videos anymore. I have not done or changed a thing lately. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks. I am running firmware 1.1.5

Update My iTouch is downgraded to 1.1.5 successfully. I used a pc that had an un updated version of iTunes installed (7.6) and after 2 attempts using the power off + home combination described in the firmware 1.1.5 post, I was able to successfully "restore" to the latest "1.1.5" iTouch software. When the touch reset, before establishing a sync relationship with the pc, I reattached it to my mac and selected "new ipod" rather than restore from backup. I then synced and tested on of the previously screwed up videos. It plays without any audio sync problems. This processes is more or less what the genius bar instructed me to do. I was reluctant to download any software not coming directly from apple. If anyone knows where the firmware file is stored on iTunes PC version, I would greatly appreciate the location. I want to save the file on my mac now that I know this is a good version. When Apple comes out with 2.1, I want to have a fall back.

Whilst on holiday i downloaded pictures from my digital camera to my ipad along with video clips. they ran fine. i have just synced with my macbook and the videos have been removed with a message to say that my ipad cant play them! why?

The digital pics and video footage played great! i have just got back and synced my ipad with my macbook and the video clips have been put onto the macbook but not reinstalled on the ipad. I get a message to say that the video clips have not been loaded as the ipad cant play them! Why has this happened? As i deleted the original clips off the camera once they were originally loaded onto the ipad i have no way of reinstalling them. Wat can i do to get them back onto the ipad?

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

Import from Camera Screen - cut off

Folks,
I am trying tom import from my Sony DCR-DVD201 camcorder. I can import fine, but the "Import from Camera screen" is cutoff and black for the first 3/4 of the screen -- I can see only the very bottom edges of the video clips.
I can still import, but is there a fix/setting for this issue?

i have this bug too. resizing the window, and then hitting play will show the whole window. i have a Panasonic HDC-SD7. it works, but a very annoying.

Audio not being recording along with video on Camera.app

Hey there guys,
As the title implies I'm having some trouble with my phone picking up audio while recording videos with the stock Camera.app. I've had my phone since release but I only rarely record videos on it so I had never really noticed. It literally won't pick up any sound whatsoever. There's white noise over the video as if it was picking up external noise but not what I'm saying.
I've tried recording with and without a case and no cigar either way. There's definitely not something wrong with the software because if I plug in a pair of headphones with mic and test it it works fine, so I believe that it's probably hardware.
Has anyone ever encountered this?

Screen cutting off

Hi just got a Powerbook G4 17' 1GHz off someone. and when I power it up it will come on. but after about 5 minutes or so the screen will turn black while Im using it. No its NOT in sleep mode and yes its on. The screen just turns black. any help at all would be wonderful thank you.

I don't think AHT or either of the TechTool utilities will identify a faulty display inverter, which is probably the cause of the problem. Under very strong light, oes the display show a faint image of what you should be able to see easily? If so, the display and the graphics card are fine, but the inverter has failed. That's what provides power to the display backlight.

Why does iPad turn off Game Center, Find iPhone, Calendars, & email accounts??

Yes I have....doesn't work. It's a 64 GB & I have 30+ free. I get logged out of Game Center, Find iPhone, my calendars, & email. There are time when iCloud turns off & I have to turn everything back on. Also it just started to change my settings for my default calendar & account.
