Share Typekit fonts with CC team

Hello,
I am beginning to roll out Creative Cloud to our web and print desigers. I want to know if it is possible to share our Typekit fonts, that are accessed with our corporate Typekit account, with our designers that have different Adobe CC accounts.

Hi Gustav,
I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this.  Are you seeing an "Unknown Server Error" error?
There is a Creative Cloud help page with some suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem:
"Unknown Server Error" when you attempt to log in to Adobe Creative Cloud
If you are seeing a different type of error, or those suggestions do not help, please send your Creative Cloud log files to [email protected] so that we can take a look.
On OS X:
* Open the Finder
* under the Go menu, select "Go To Folder"
* in the window that opens, type:  /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/
Remember to replace "(username)" with your own account name.
(Or if you are comfortable working from the Terminal, cd to $HOME/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/)
Attach the recent CoreSync-yyyy-MM-dd.log files to an email. Please don't send a zip file, as they often get flagged as spam.

    I'm trying to make a breadcrumb navigation bar and want to use arrows instead of slashes or pipes. I created some in AI, but when I export them as a .png, they don't look that good, so I was wondering if there are any typekit fonts that might have arrows as dingbats.

  • How do I share a design with a team member

    Hi there,
    We recently signed up for the Team version of the Creative Cloud. On the 'Teams' promotional page it suggests we will be able to 'collaborate' & 'capture feedback' from team members.
    I'm presuming this is via Behance or our Cloud folders but I so far haven't been able to figure out how to share items with team members only. Any guidance appreciated!

  • How can I share a library with my team in CC?

    The COLLABORATE option is not showing up under my Actions drop down. Is there something I have to do to set up the library for a team?

  • Can you adjust Typekit font weight?

    So I've figured out how to use all Typekit fonts in Muse (by assigning ".body" as a selector in the Typekit Editor and then assigning "body" as a paragraph style in Muse). The only problem is that I am limited to two weights per font: regular (or thin or light or extra light) and bold (which works by just bolding the text in Muse).
    This means if I use a font with many different weights (thin and light, say) I have to choose one or the other in the Typekit editor and can't use both on my site. Has anyone figured out a workaround for this?

    Right now, there's not an easy way to do this in Muse. Editing the CSS files that come from Muse would allow you to use other weights/variations but of course this involves diving into the code.

  • Provide Muse UX for Typekit font/weight/style support

    While Adobe Muse is an amazing product, the Typekit support team graciously answers my questions, and the Muse team has been improving the product rapidly; full font, style, and weight support from within Muse is soorly lacking. I understand Muse is relatively new, but here's my request for web type support like type is supported in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Sooner than later.
    Why? Because Adobe Muse was made for this.

  • Pls help - How can I add a typekit font to muse?

    As Muse doesn't come with all typekit fonts already included in the dropdown list of webfonts, I'd like to know how I can add a typekit font to the dropdown menu so I can use it for my website. I have Adobe creative cloud membership.
    I've searched the whole of the web and can't find anything about this at all - only about adding one of the existing muse typekit fonts which I already know how to do.
    Why doesn't Adobe include all typekit fonts with Muse when you're already a full creative cloud subscriber?

  • How to share on CC with Team members and other problems

    I had a CC for Team account, then got a deal to add seats at a discount, I added 2 more. I had to change my password and give a new e-mail address to get this deal. When I log in using my New ID all my files are gone. I log in with my Old ID my files and web sites are there no team members, added my OldID to the new Teams account and made me an administrator. Now when I log in with my OldID I can see my file and team members one of them is me with a new ID and the other is a client. I want to get rid of one of me I prefer the new one but I can't I can only delete the OldID and I lose my web site and all my files. Now the only reason I did this was to let my client see the files instead of selecting one page at a time and sending a link I thought they could go to their folder and look at the pages as they are being designed and edited. But there is no method to share with other team members. I re-watch the Max video but nothing they were showing is available in my team CC account. Can someone Help me out Please?

    I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. There are a few things we can check right away to start debugging this:
    - First, would you try signing out of the Creative Cloud app and see if this solves the issue? This can be found under: Gear > Preferences > General > Account.
    - Could you try quitting/restarting the Creative Cloud app. Did this solve the issue?
    - Could you try Turning File and Font Sync off under: Gear > Preferences > Fonts. Wait a second, then turn it back on. See if the font/s show up and if not, try syncing again. Did this solve it?
    - Could you tell me if you're on the Windows/Mac OS X and the version?
    If none of those worked, would you attach the CoreSync files and send those to our support email: [email protected]?
    On the Mac, the folder can be found here:
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log
    (You'll want to open the Finder, click Go, in the menu, hold down the "option" key and you'll see the Library folder.)
    On Windows:
    You can find the files under: C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\coreSync-2013-08-xx.log

    Is there an additional Typekit charge for fonts with Creative Cloud membership?  I am not clear if these are trial fonts or if there will be a charge for using them permanently in Adobe Illustrator CS6.  Thanks for any assistance.

    You don't purchase fonts with Typekit for "permanent use". You're paying a subscription. You either subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud, and as part of the subscription, you can use the fonts as long as you pay your subscription. There is no additional charge. Or, you pay for a subscription to Typekit only.

    Typekit won't sync fonts with my Adobe ID. Any solution? I've selected to use fonts on Typekit on my desktop, but each time I have to re-link my Adobe ID, and the fonts don't sync. I have the Creative Cloud app running. Any help really appreciated.

    Yes, you are using a web font for the title now - nice work!  The "ReneeInfantinoInc." is set in Mate, which is available through Google Fonts: http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Mate
    Muse uses the Adobe Edge Web Fonts, which is a collection of free and open-source fonts. Some of the Edge Web Fonts are also in Typekit, but they are separate libraries and don't overlap completely.
    The font looks good to me when I view your site in Chrome, but the difference in the display could be due to differences in the anti-aliasing that Muse and the browser use.  You could try setting this in your CSS, and see if it makes the two more consistent:
    -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;

  • Why can't I replace missing fonts with my desktop fonts?

    I just updated to CC 2014 which implemented the new Typekit features. Now "Find Font" is "Resolve missing fonts..." which only allows missing fonts to be replaced with Typekit fonts or other fonts already found in the document.
    Am I the only one who finds this ridiculous? I have a document with the 'Avenir Next Pro' font missing, but have no way to change all instances to the "Avenir Next" font that I have installed on my computer.
    The only thing that seems to work, is to select each instance of the missing font and then change the font in the character menu. Or to change one text layer and then use "Resolve missing fonts..." to select the font that has now become an option that
    it exists in the document. Both processes work, but they're heavy handed and leave a lot of room for human error. Plus they're frickin' annoying!
    What gives, Adobe?

    No you're not the only one who finds this ridiculous. Font replacement in other Adobe apps works absolutely fine, so why is the Photoshop team intent on making this into a difficult useless feature?
