Share upload status bug

Hi,
I found a ugly display bug in iMovie 10, while uploading a video to YouTube. So I can't see the exactly status of the upload. Apple, please fix this!
Btw. I saw a similar bug in Safari while downloading something.

if you are concerned about your network connection, perhaps you may want to run the Network Utility (in Applications -> Utilities) for a while.
The first tab (Info) will give you an overview on the transfer statistics (send errors, collision etc.) and the second tab (Netstat) will give you a comprehensive network statistic, when you press the "Netstat" button.

I wanted to cancel a Share Upload, soon after it started. Is
there a "clean" way to do this? Other than breaking

Download and Upload Status/other utilities in one offline file

Hi,
Is it possible to download or upload the GUI statuses?
Also, I am curious if there is any utility by which I can find all the related technical objects for one report/utility?
e.g. when i try to copy objects from one system to another(which are not connected), I often forget to copy few objects which i have to find out through code inspector errors. (eg. message classes, search helps etc).
also, i repeatedly have to copy the screens and statuses to other systems. Is it possible to download all of the related objects in an offline file? so that i can upload the same to other system.
our sandbox system is not connect to the real time system and we need to copy objects from dev/quality to sandbox if we want to try out few things.

I know of a program REPTRAN which can download all your code and the related things in multiple offline files.
But dont know if it will be of any help to you or not.

Hitting Max Limit on Share Photo Streams - Bug or Feature?

I am using the Aperture to create Shared Photo Streams.
Everything has been working well except that as I cannot seem to share more than 1390 photos. I am doing so across 20 or so Photo Streams.
When I try and share, say, 100 photos to a new Photo Stream, the system only shares up to the 1390 limit and then silently does not share the rest.
Is there a maximum number of photos that can be shared?

There is no limit but you can only upload up to 1,000 photos per hour and up to 10,000 photos per day.

I get the following error when I try to use Show and Share.   I have cycled the power on the server but still the same message.
How can I correct this?

Please, open a TAC service request to have this investigated further.
When you do, please, attach the exact steps you follow to get this error, as well as a sysreport from the Show and Share appliance.
Also, it would be good to confirm whether other users are also seeing the same error or not.

Cannot add media to Share upload listing

I just installed PSE9 to my win7 Pro 64 bit Dell laptop. One of the biggest reasons for upgrading was to use the Facebook sharing feature. however it won't work for me. Same applies to the Flickr module. When I select one or more files then click the share to Facebook button, the upload requester opens ok and the message "Processing files" appears briefly. No files appear on the dark gray area above the green plus sign. If I select files from the thumb listing then click "add media" the files are deselected but not added to the listing and the upload button remains greyed out. I have hunted everywhere for a mention of this problem to no avail. I uninstalled completely and reinstalled from the root of the C drive as suggested somewhere but it has made no difference. Anyone else had trouble like this? Ron.

Further to my issue: today I installed PSE9 on my work computer running WinXP SP3 and had no trouble adding thumbnails to the upload requester so it appears that Win7 Pro 64 bit compatibility is not up to scratch for the Sharing feature in PSE9 organiser.

Show and Share: Upload video with link URL

Is it use to add the video that is in external server? Can you give me an example for upload video in SnS with link URL? My system has Wowza streaming server.

Basically, when you want to add\upload a video to Show and Share you can simpy:
1. Upload the file itself
2. Use a URL link of where the video content is located. This is typically a WEB Server url.
such as:
http://webserver.company.com/videos/movietrailer.flv

How to view iMovie 10 upload status to facebook?

I can view status by clicking the little pie icon in the upper right corner, but the message it shows is:
"Finishing: Publishing to Fa...t of 106.5 MB completed. 8m X"
There is no way to expand the elipses. I tried right clicking, I tried making the main window bigger, it never scrolls automatically or anything.

I have this problem, too. As a workaround, you can open Activity Monitor and then open the Network tab. The "Sent Bytes" column will show how much iMovie has uploaded so far.

Premiere 10 fails on YouTube Share/Upload

The YouTube share option has worked for me in the past, but now shows a fail message almost immediately. I found a solution elsewhere for this, but it refers to film categories.
In my case, the message comes up straight away before PE asks for any Youtube info.

There could be any number of reasons for this, and you can go nuts trying to figure it out.
I'd recommend you use this method to upload to YouTube until it resolves itself. Most people feel it gives better results anyway.

AirPlay and Screen Share in AIM bug

Mountain Lion has an annoying bug: when the sound output is an AirPlay device (my Zeppelin Air) and you start a screen share session in AIM, you cannot change the sound back to the computer. Even if I put headphones on, it won't switch the output. And the only way to get it back is to unplug my Zeppelin's power and close the Messages app on both computers - then I can get it to work fine.
Anything I'm over looking?

I uploaded my app on itunes before 3 days it shows me that it was waiting for review but up till now it showing me the same status.May i know how time it takes exactly for changing status "waiting for review" to "in review".

Just in Facebook. There is no other place as Facebook is hosting the upload.

How to monitor iWeb publish / upload status?

I'm publishing a website with a few large video files. When I hit publish, it prepares the pages and then seems to start uploading -- the pie chart image appears next to the site name. It's taking forever, however, with no discernable movement in the pie. I'd like to get some more details status from the app... how many MB uploaded, how many to go, estimated time of completion, etc...
Is there any way to find this out? Where does one make feature requests? Given what I've seen in the forum, this seems like an obvious and easy change to make to put many minds at ease.

Adding a movie by dragging it onto the page requires Quicktime to be installed on the computer trying to view your site. A lot of PCs do not have Quicktime installed.
There are other methods of adding a movie which are compatible with nearly all platforms. Go to the following pages at Roddy's iWeb for Musicians site to learn about players that will let all visitors view the movie: HTML5-Video.html, Easy Movie Player, Fallback Player. He has other pages dedicated to adding movies to a web page.
Most involve uploading the movie file to the server manually and then linking to it with the appropriate code in an HTML snippet.

I try to upload a big file, 4,7 gb, to my cloud. is there a way to check how much of the file is already in the cloud? because my cc application has been saying "synching..." since 14 hours and I don`t know how far the uploader is, because there is no status bar or something to show that...

I talked to the customer service from adobe about this and the answer was, I should use smaller files, because syncing of large files in the creative cloud doesn`t work that good... ("Since the file is larger you are facing issue in syncing Michal, the sync is stopped. I kindly request you to sync smaller files so that it should work fine."). After that I moved completely to Google Drive, because it`s much faster and one can upload also very large files. I think the Cloud by Adobe works only for phototgraphers or graphic designers who have to sync much smaller files... and not for filmmakers who sometimes have to upload larger videos. which is really a pity! and also totally unfair.

Yes, I knew about Webgain, but they only say that they'll honor existing support contracts, whereas I (not having a support contract) want to get in touch with the developers directly.
