Share windows outlook calendar with outlook:mac calendar

My work computer is a macbook pro. Windows users have invited me to share their outlook calendars, but I can't see them. Are there resolutions to this problem (other than convincing everyone to get Macs?).

Hello ramirofromstrockholm,
The steps detailed below explain how to go about publicly share a calendar (which doesn't require that one be an iCloud user to accept).
Click the Share button to the right of the calendar you want to share, then select Public Calendar.
Note:   You can also share the same calendar privately. For instructions, see the previous task, “Share a calendar privately.”
To invite people to view the calendar, click Email Link.
Type one or more email addresses in the To field, then click Send.
The people you specify automatically receive an invitation email that includes the calendar’s URL. An invitee doesn’t need to be an iCloud user to accept an invitation to view a shared public calendar.
In the sidebar, a shared calendar has a dark Share button.
You can also resend invitations to one or more invited participants at any time.

  • Syncing iCloud Calendar with Outlook for Mac (new Outlook)

Does anyone know if it's possible to sync your iCloud Calendar with Outlook for Mac yet (Outlook for Mac is the new Outlook that comes with Microsoft Office 365)? If so, how do you do it?
I've done some research on this question, and most of the responses are a few years old... wanted to see if anything has changed since. I find it weird how I can sync my iCloud Calendar with Outlook 2013 on my PC, but not with Outlook for Mac on my Mac--which is practically the same thing.
    Thanks ahead of time!

    Greetings kipp0606,
If you would like to use iCloud mail in an email client, you may want to review the following article. It contains the mail server settings you'll need to set it up:
iCloud: Mail server settings for email clients - Apple Support
Use these mail server settings if you need to manually set up your email app (client) to use an iCloud email account.
Do you need these mail server settings?
You can use the mail server settings in this article to manually set up your email app to send and receive email with an iCloud email account. However, you shouldn't need to do that if you meet the iCloud system requirements and can use any of these setup methods:
OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later: Use iCloud Preferences.
Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2010 or later: Use iCloud for Windows.
iOS 7 or later: Use iCloud settings.
If you're using the Mail app in OS X Snow Leopard v10.6, use the mail server information in the iCloud Mail setup instructions for Snow Leopard instead of the settings below.Mail server settings
Refer to your email app's documentation for information about how to use these settings. iCloud Mail uses the IMAP and SMTP standards supported by most modern email apps. iCloud does not support POP.

  • How can I retrieve my calendar info that was sucked from my iPad 2 after upgrading to OS V and backing up to iCloud (using Windows XP computer with Outlook)?

How can I retrieve my calendar info that was sucked from my iPad 2 after upgrading to OS V and backing up to iCloud (using Windows XP computer with Outlook)?

I think (and I'll double check) only the BBLink events will sync on a wired USB sync. I'm fairly certain of that.
You'll need to use your calendar syncing via an EAS email account (outlook.com, for instance, is free) to sync wirelessly. It works great. I use it and was a former tied to the USB sync guy as well... and I thought I was gonna die a painful death without it. I found more freedom this way.
This explains the process. But I don't think you'll get BBM Groups to sync.

  • How can I sync my outlook calendar with iPhone or calendar on Maverick?

I have just updated to Mavericks on my iMac. I use Microsoft Outlook for email, contacts and calendars. How do I now sync these on my iPhone ?
The only sync seems to be via iCloud, this is sharing calendar and contacts on the iMac but if I make any calendar additions to the outlook calendar it doesn't copy to the phone or the iMac calendar and similarly if I add an item to the phone calendar it syncs to the iMac calendar but doesn't copy to outlook.

    1. Apple has removed sync services in OS X Mavericks. Therefore, you cannot sync Outlook 2011 with Contacts or Calendar.
    2. Apple has removed the ability to sync through iTunes in OS X Mavericks, so that, even if you use Contacts and Calendar on the Mac, you can only sync them with your iPhone through iCloud, thus exposing all your contacts and calendar information to the mercies of the Web.
    3. Microsoft does not not support CalDAV and CardDAV in Outlook, so there is no way to sync directly through iCloud, except perhaps by setting up a Microsoft Exchange account.
    4. Apple makes it extremely difficult (virtually impossible) to revert to a version of OSX that is earlier than OS X Mavericks once Mavericks is installed.
In short, we are screwed and neither company seems to care.

  • Synchronizing Calendar with Outlook Marks Everyday of the Year as an Event

Scenario: 2nd Generation Touch 32GB, Windows XP Pro SP3, Outlook 2003
Prior to purchasing my touch last week, I have been able to successfully synchronize my calendar and contacts with my iPod Classic.
My new iPod Touch synchronizes my contacts and calendar with Outlook; however, my iPod Touch also marks everyday of the year (including those without events) with a Dot to indicate that something is occuring that day. Thus, I have to click on each day to determine when there is an actual event. The iPod Touch seems partially aware that there are no events for these days because it displays "no events" when you scroll to those days. HHHEELLPPP!
How do I prevent the iPod Touch from marking everyday of the year with the a dot to indicate that an event is scheduled for that day? Is there an obsure setting causing this behavior?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Fullerms,
you have a couple of options:
Mail for Exchange -- will sync to your Exchange server over the air (flat rate data plan strongly recommended) just like the WiMo devices do. I do this since about two years, first with my E61i and now with my E71. Fast, simple, and easy.
SyncML -- services such as Funambol and others can let you run this option. To sync my Exchange at work and Outlook at home, I'm using a local copy of Funambol (plus always-on DSL plus DynDNS and a few trix), although there are also some open Funambol-based services you can use. You will need to install a Funambol sync client on your PC, but it's not the Nokia PC Suite!
Other options that come to mind could be Google Calendar and similar -- somehwere a server in the sky where you dump your calendar and contacts regulary and sync them up to the phone.
    My personal recommendation is MfE.

  • Error when synchronizing Torch calendar with outlook

Home laptop: PC - windows 7 64 bits - Outlook 32 bits - BB desktop
    Smartphone: BB Torch 9810
The synchro of BB calendar with Outlook used to work perfectly well until a couple of weeks. I tried then to replace all the data of Outlook calendar by those of BB calendar: the process stopped in the middle. The Outlook calendar is now empty, and BB agenda intact. When I try to redo the same synchro (unidirectional of course to avoid to erase my BB calendar), the process stops in the middle with the following message :
" CRT ran Rec:: GetLinkedRecordld : Invalid linked record ld "
I did not change anything to Outlook. The synchro of the contacts works perfectly well, as the music or images.
I also synchronize this Torch with another PC at work, as I always used to do it, and it continues to work perfectly well...
What happened on my home laptop ?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Here are KBs that discuss that error:
KB31008 During contact synchronization using BlackBerry Desktop Software the error "CRTranRec:: GetLinkedRecordId : Invalid linked record Id" is displayed
KB33247 During Calendar sync using BlackBerry Desktop Software the error "CRTranRec:: GetLinkedRecordId : Invalid linked record Id" is encountered
Hopefully they contain something useful! There also are multiple existing threads on this site that discuss that exact error...your review of those might prove useful, and a search of this site, using the error message, error code, or symptom, should reveal all applicable existing threads to you.

  • Syncing Contacts and Calendar with Outlook

I am unable to sync my contacts and calendar with outlook. I am not sure which version of outlook I have so that may be the problem, is there a way to look up which version of outlook I currently have?
I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service pack 3 it that helps.

When you installed office 2007 did you reinstall iTunes? This may be necessary because the iTunes installation adds a plug-in to Outlook to manage the sync. You may have to completely remove iTunes, reboot, then reinstall it. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925?viewlocale=en_US

  • How do I sync multiple iCloud calendars with outlook

I am running Outlook 2007 (not exchange) on a PC and want to sync multiple (3-4) iCloud calendars with Outlook. Currently I am syncing only one and works great, but I am having a terrible time on setting up additional iCloud Calendars. Any suggestions?

    Diesel -
    First, Thanks for responding!!!
Second, I've got it syncing with one, and only one, of the calendars so I know that it can. The question that I have is if there is a way to sync with multiple calendars and if so how do I do it. I've got the one working by having iCloud sync with one of my calendars in outlook and my phone sync with iCloud. Does anyone have an idea how to accomplish this?

  • Problems syncing iPhone 4S contacts and calendar with Outlook 2007

Hello.  I am having difficulties syncing my iPhone 4S Contacts and Calendar with Outlook 2007.  It used to work perfectly with my iPhone 4, but now I am having difficulties both ways.  That is, I add something to my Outlook 2007 Calendar, sync in iTunes, but it doesn't appear in my iPhone.  Or, I add a Contact to my iPhone, sync in iTunes, but it doesn't appear in Outlook 2007.  I believe I have the iTunes settings correct.

Me too. Think it is since 6.1.3.
Interesting other quirk is that as well as NOT syncing my calendar, it also unticks my calendar from pc on the iphone.
When ii retick it, i get the calendar back, but as it was before the sync, ie, it does not have the bnew events from my pc in it.
This is a 2 way problem.
New events on my iphone wont sync to my pc, and new events on my pc wont sync to my iphone.

  • Can't Sync Calendar with Outlook 8310 OS 4.5 DM 4.7 BIS AT&T

Please help!  Some background: I recently "upgraded" my device software from 4.2 to 4.5.  At about the same time, I got a gmail account and noticed I could sync my device calendar with Google's calendar.  Big mistake.  Every calendar entry was duplicated.  I use a lot of reoccurring appointments and Google converted them to nonrecurring appointments and copied them back to the device.  No problem, I still have the calendar on Outlook.  So I dumped the Google calendar and uninstalled Google sync.  Then changed configuration options in the DM and set it to overwrite all data on the device.  It synced fine and my calendar was back to normal.  I then changed it back to a 2-way sync.
Now it won't sync my calendar with outlook at all! No error messages.  No log file.  It just doesn't do anything when I tell it to sync the calendar.  Address book, tasks, memopad, all sync fine.  Just not the calendar.
Thinking I might solve it by reinstalling the DM, I noticed there was a new version.  Perfect.  I downloaded 4.7 and installed it.  Didn't make a bit of difference.  Now what?

Oh, yeah.  I've also deleted 'C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync' and all subfolders.  No change.
I did manage to find something!!  I went back to the intellisync directory and found a file named "PtTrace.log".  Viewing it in Notepad, the last two lines are:
    Sun Jan 04 10:20:39 2009: Error 0x83110005.-2096037883.0 at .\syncconfigmanager.cpp line 1137
Sun Jan 04 10:20:40 2009: Error Failed to load CXLServer1.dll from the product directory..4005 at .\callback.cpp line 3610
I don't have the faintest clue what this means...

  • Can I synch contacts and calendar with outlook on my office computer and media in family itunes library on my home computer?

I am purchasing a iphone4s. Can I synch contacts and calendar with outlook on my office computer and media in my family itunes library on my home computer?  If so, how?

I'm having the same issue. Upgraded my 3G to OS4 which wiped out my contacts from the phone. I also use CompanionLink (Express) to sync ATC with Outlook and iTunes and the phone. Have spent hours/days on the phone with second level Apple tech support to no avail. CompanionLink IS syncing with Outlook but Outlook isn't syncing with the phone. Have tried syncing to Outlook directly (without CompanionLink) but no good result. Tried syncing through MobilMe. Can sync all Outlook contacts from my computer to me.com through MobileMe but does not sync with the phone. Tech support suggested trying to sync fewer contacts at a time as their might be a problem with the contacts file. DID manage to get 4000 of my 5600 contacts back in but can't get any more in. Previously had NO problem syncin all contacts directly and through CompanionLink. VERY frustrating.
Also, I use Outlook Express for email. Since installing MobileMe I get an error message saying that Outlook isn't my default mail handler and I need to change the settings to make it the default mail handler. I DO NOT have "sync mail" checked as I'm not trying to sync my email accounts...only contacts and calendars. Made Outlook the default mail handler which stops the error message but still can't sync the contacts and I want to keep Outlook Express for email.
