Shared photo streams not transferring photos

My shared photo stream was working fine, and then suddenly it wouldn't receive any photos from other users, and wouldn't send them my uploaded pictures? How do i get it to work again? I also got an email that someone subscribed but it never showed up on my phone as subscribed, just invited. I feel like it just needs to refresh or something. Any tips would be appreciated!

I have had the same problem - Shared Photo Streams (evidently) do not update dynamically. There is also no button to force an update in the photo app either.
On your iDevice by going into Settings > Photos & Camera and switching off "Shared Photo Streams".  Go into your Photo app and check that they have been removed.
Now go back into the same Settings sub-menu and re-enable "Shared Photo Streams".  Back in the Photo app, you will see the shared stream update with the correct photos.
I have the exact same problem with any shared photo streams I create on my iPhone - they do not appear on my iPad unless I do the above.  The same goes for iPhoto/Aperture on my Mac.

I am having issues with photo stream not operating. Apple support helped me correct this once, but it has happened again. I use PCtools internet security. Does anyone have ths issue or a solution? Photos are in my photo stream in the iphone, but do not get pushed to my pc.

I have the same problem. Iphone and Ipad both can sync photos between them.
But not icloud 2.0 application on my windows 7 pc.
Whenever I open icloud app, it have photo stream option unchecked.

I already tried rebooting pc and logout/login from icloud application.
Clicking Parameters in photo stream does not open anything.

  • HT201317 Photo Stream not showing photos: windows pc vista

I have Windows PC with Vista: when I open 'photo stream' I have 9 'boxes' each one has photos in them. However only 5 show pictures and I can click on those boxes and see the pictures contained therein, the other 4 just show 'clouds', even when I try to open them. How do I get those pictures to show up?

  • Photo stream not transferring with iCloud

I have a new iPad and a iPhone. The first try I got pictures to go from one to the other. Now none of it works. I have iCloud on, photo stream on, wifi on. Can not get pics from iPhone to iPad and visa versa. Very frustrating.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at Cloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.

  • Iphone 4s photo stream not transferring to pc

I believe everything is set up correctly to enable photo stream however just recently it stopped transferring the photos from photo stream on my phone to my pc. It was working great prior to this and now I cannot figure out how to get it back working properly. Everything is working perfectly between the camera roll and photo stream on my device but it just doesn't automatically import the photo stream to my pc anymore.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    SM

Note that only new photos (photos taken after you first turn on Photo Stream) will be transferred. That and other information that may help are in My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support

  • HT201317 Photo Stream not pushing photos to Windows 7 PC after Aug 28 2012

I tried disabling my firewall; did not work.  Had the same issue before 90 day support ended and now,
here we go again.  Also, on my iCloud account Photo Stream "Options" bar won't open!

You may have enabled iCloud on your devices, but did you also turn on photo stream?  Check in Settings>iCloud on the iPhone.  Check the PC as well, but I don't know where that's done, as I use a Mac.

  • Photo Stream not sending photo's to PC from iPhone 4

Recently I noticed that I got an error message that the photo stream on my pc had quit working. I reboted the pc and haven't seen the message since. But yesterday I noticed that photo stream on the iphone isn't sending photo's to my pc like it used to. I'm running Windows 7 home premium.
    Thank you

Well, should anyone else have a similar problem..... The problem I was having was due to a program called "Little Snitch" which was blocking Photo Stream from sending or receiving data on my Mac...... Issue resolved!

but the photos are still showing on my iPhone.
Any way to get rid of them?
    Thanks,

I do see that turning Photo Stream off on my iPhone and turning it on again clears the Photo Stream photos on the device.
But the reset of Photo Stream at icloud.com doesn't seem to work.

  • Photo Stream and transferring photos..

How do I transfer photos from photo stream onto a new IPad?

    Hi,
Once you do what randers4 said, go into the photos app on the ipad and then the photostream section. Then tap the photo you want. Then tap the action button (arrow pointing right) in the top right, and the tap "save to camera roll" from the pop up menu. This will save the pic to the ipad.
    Hope this helps.

  • Photo Stream not updating photos taken while PC out for repair

    Hi Everybody,
Odd issue here.  I sent my PC out for repair recently.  While it was gone, I took a number of photos on my iPhone.  The PC came back, and none of the photos are downloading to my PC.  The odd part is that any NEW photo that I take IS downloading (I took a picture tonight that downloaded to my PC very quickly).  How can I get it to pick up those other photos, and why is it not picking them up?
    Thanks!

Bump... any thoughts?  I've Googled the crap out of this and just can't come up with any solutions.

  • Why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto?

why do videos from a shared photo stream not appear in iPhoto?  Within iMovie, it appears as though videos can be imported from the iPhoto library.  However, within iPhoto there are no videos that appear within the Library.  Is it possible to import photos into iPhoto from a shared photo stream?  if not, how can videos be imported into iPhoto?

  • Shared Photo Streams not appearing in iPhoto.

I have a few Photo Streams that were recently shared with me. I can access them fine on my iPhone. When I am on my MacBook Air however, these Photo Stream folders are no where to be found.
I followed this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3989 and more specifically double checked these instructions:
I don't see any photos or shared photo streams in the Photo Stream view of iPhoto or Aperture.
    Check the following:
From your Mac, choose System Preferences > iCloud, and make sure the Photo Stream checkbox is enabled.
Open iPhoto or Aperture, choose Preferences > Photo Stream.
If you are using iPhoto 9.4 or later, or Aperture 3.4 or later, make sure that both the My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams checkboxes are selected. If you'd like all new photos that you've uploaded to your iPhoto or Aperture library to be uploaded to My Photo Stream, make sure that the Automatic Upload checkbox is selected as well.
If you are using iPhoto 9.2.2 through 9.3.2, or Aperture 3.2.3 through 3.3.2, make sure that Enable Photo Stream and Automatic Import are selected.
Make sure your Mac has an an active Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
Everything was set up as suggested above.
My Macbook is on iPhoto 9.2.3, with OS 10.7.5
    My iPhone is on 6.1.3
Additionally, when i view photos from a shared photo stream folder on my phone and then select to save one of the photos to my Camera roll, the photo is still not syncing to my Photo stream on the Mac.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Larry,
Having a similar issue as the one described by kmacd...  I'm trying to set up Shared Photo Streams between my MacBook Pro (Late 2009 13") and my iPhone 4, to essentially use them as streaming albums.  Both devices are set up with iCloud with the same account, and both have all settings enabled for Shared Photo Streams, as I can create and modify streams in both.  The problem is that when I create a new stream on one, it never shows up on the other!  I never receive an invite, which I assume I wouldn't since it's all the same account.  Just not sure why the Shared Streams don't sync over multiple devices when the normal My Photo Stream works perfectly fine.  Any thoughts??  Thanks!
    Hardware/Software Specs:
    MacBook Pro 5,5 (Late 2009 13")
    OS X Mavericks 10.9.1
    iPhoto v9.5.1 (902.17)
    Aperture 3.5.1
    iPhone 4iOS 7.0.4
Note:  I am currently in the process of downloading iPhoto 2.0 for iOS to see if there's any way to access the streams through that.  Figured it's worth a shot!!

  • Photo stream not working in iPhoto

I enabled icloud in iphoto but only a few photos come thru in "My Photo Stream." My shared photo streams with other people show up but no photos are showing up in the shared streams. It shows 0 photos in all of them but on my devices all my streams (shared or just my photo stream) are fine. Please help! It's frustrating!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion
is your profile signature above still valid?
I enabled icloud in iphoto but only a few photos come thru in "My Photo Stream."
My Photo Stream will only show the recent photos that are currently in iCloud, after you turn it on, - the photos added during the last 30 thirty days, and at most 1000 photos.
My shared photo streams with other people show up but no photos are showing up in the shared streams. It shows 0 photos in all of them but on my devices all my streams (shared or just my photo stream) are fine. Please help!
The Shared streams will take some time to populate. After the Yosemite upgrade I had to wait for a full day, until the shared streams showed the photos. If the do not show up after some more waiting, disable "Photos" in the iCloud System Preferences, restart the Mac, and turn it on again. Then enable it also in iPhoto again.

  • Photo stream not updating

My Photo Stream is currently not updating in Photo's. The last picture imported from my photo stream was April 7th? Any trouble shooting for this? All preferences are checked to automatically upload pictures taken with my iPhone to my photo stream so they should be in the iCloud section of Photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try disabling both the My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing in Photos' iCloud Preference pane.  Close Photos, reboot, open and reenable them.  See if that will jumpstart the My Photo Stream.

  • Photo stream not streaming all photos

Why are only some, but not all, of my recent iPhone photos appearing in Photo Stream?

You have a couple of options to get them in your photo stream:
    Open the photos one at a time and take a screenshot.  This will add a new low resolution copy of the photo to the camera roll, which will then upload to your photo stream;
    Email the photos a few at a time to yourself, then save the attached photos to your camera roll.  This will add a copy of the photo at full resolution to your camera roll and upload to photo stream;
Use an app like PhotoSync, which will allow you to wirelessly transfer copies of all your old photos to your computer all at once.  Then delete these photos from your camera roll and use PhotoSync to transfer them back from your computer to your camera roll.  These will be the original resolution and will upload to your photo stream.  (You need an app like this because iTunes will not transfer photos back to your camera roll, where they must be in order to add to your photo stream.)
Or, you can add them to a shared stream and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99).  The shared stream will appear on your iPad and you can either leave things this way, or save them to the camera roll on your iPad and delete the shared stream.  They won't be in your photo stream but they will at least be on your iPad.
