Shared services and workspace architecture(How we can find out req &respon)

Good morning Hyperion folks,
Does any body have any document or PDF about workspace and shared service architecture...How these both components are communicate each other..any idea or any document..while communicating of these if anything goes wrong,,where we need to check, what is exactly the problem (any suggestible logs)...
Company are doing big mistake by using this hyperion tool ..These guys are not supporting and even they don't know much about the tool apart Product dev team..and that too they are not disclosure any documents related product...
**Does anybody found any kind performance tunning guide or lab guide about workspace and shared service HFM,Planning...** I have never seen component wise documents and tunning guide and recommendations.
I am strong opnion about hyperion is,we would not get any support from oracle and documents so He can migrate Cognos TM1 and Finance management etc........

Ex :1.Per suppose log on to workspace that request goes to shared services directory and it will check whether that user is exists or not on Shared services tables ...here what kind of alogirtham using to aunthenticate user...How we can diagonse this process taking to much time,,,is there any specific logs related this (If logs are exsits how we can find out)...
2.Once authencation done successfully and responce send to workspace and populate workspace home page...then i click on application button (FM application) and it's taki ng to much time to load HFM page.To this where we need to look whta excatly problem? what are logs file helpful to us to diagonse..

I'm trying to enable Kerberos SPNEGO with WebSphere 6.1.0.31. I've protected the urls.....and i can see the handshake happening in the trace logs.....
Shared Services SSO is working fine if i use the option of Get Remote user info from http header.....
But workspace doesn't seem to accept any of the options given $REMOTE_USER$, $HTTP_USER$.
Can some please let me know how to do this....? Or is there a way to change the header information?

Shared services and workspace login error in epm 11.1.2.3

Hello,
When click on the url of shared services and workspace for epm 11.1.2.3
showing the below error as soon.
"Internet explorer can not display the webpage error"
Tried with all supported browsers
Please suggest all possibles solutions..

you can find currently used parameter values v$parameter and v$parameter2.
if default values is different real values then you can see alert.log.
because in alert.log you will see non default values, rests is default.

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.

How we can find out reconciliation details for AR.

We are adding Manual JE as a receipt against for multiple AR invoices. For these entries we are doing reconciliation but my out standing report itu2019s showing as pending amount. In out standing report how we can identify this manual JE is reconciled against for multiple AR Invoices numbers. If we I identify multiple A/R invoice document number then I can disable both entries i.e., AR Invoices and Manual JE in the outstanding report. In JDT1 table intrnmatch field is storing related to reconcilation but itu2019s not stroing against which document numbers they did ? and also I checked AJDT,AJD1 in this also AR Invoice details and for this automatic JE details also itu2019s not storing how we can solve this issues.please guide me.based on docstaus for AR Invoice we can find out but one more i need make cross check.

I would very strongly recommend you upgrade to version 2007 as soon as possible. Reconciliation behaviour in the lower versions could be inconsistent since there was no partial reconciliation on JE level.

In order to accurately report on BP balances, make sure you run the ageing report by journal entry in the lower versions.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'Through manual JE against that bill bumvers (AR Document number) then I need to disable that type of entries.' Do you need to prevent users from posting manual JEs to a BP?

If you are at all interested in a 3rd party application to make your life a bit easier getting stats on your users, you could check out Click Stream by Sweetlets.
Click Stream uses the Usermanagement (UME) API to get more information about the user, groups, roles, LDAP attributes etc. and offers you the ability to filter this information in nearly any report at the click of a button.
Click Stream also uses the PCD API to get information about the pages your users are visiting too.

HFM shared services and workspace configuration

Hello,
I am new to Hyperion environment and learning the products. Downloaded the products for 11.11.3, installed and configured them, but having problems.
1. Shared services is up and able tol log in, but not verified anything else there
2. Not able to bring up the workspace , used the url http://<servername>:19000/workspace. After entering the user id and password.. got the following error...
"Could not find a Hyperion Reporting and analysis server running on local host at port 6800..." , not able to see any download with "Reporting and Analysis server", but downloaded and installed V17378-01 & V17380-01.
In the diagnostic report seeing the following error... "Availability of web application context http://localhost:10080/eas
Error: Bad response code: 404
Recommended Action: Check application is started "
Please advice.

Are Power PC Macs open to infection by Flashback? And If so, how do I check to see whether my G4 has been a victim? All the scanners that I've seen are for Intel based Macs only.

I would run Terminal, then COPY the command shown in Step 2 (from the web site link). PASTE it in Terminal (to ensure you don't mistype something) and hit Return. If you do NOT get "... does not exist" message, don't do the anything else in the procedure.
If you DO get the "... does not exist" message, then COPY the command shown in Step 8. PASTE it in Terminal and hit Return. If you do NOT get "... does not exist" message, don't do the anything else in the procedure.
If you DO get the "... does not exist" message, then your Mac is clean.
The commands in Steps 2 and 8 can do no harm, because nothing is being changed. Some of the other commands for "removal" in the procedure do make changes. So if Steps 2 and 8 indicate your Mac is clean, that's good and you're done.
If they indicate otherwise, there may be a problem. You can ask additional questions here about what to do.
FYI - I just ran the procedure on my Power Mac G5 running Leopard, and I got the expected "... does not exist" messages after entering the commands in Steps 2 and 8.
