"SharedPac..." icon on iPhone 6 running iOS8

I just received my new iPhone 6 running iOS8. When I restored it from an iCloud backup, I noticed that there was a new white icon labeled "SharedPac...". I am assuming it stands for Shared Package. What is this and how can I get rid of it? Thanks!

I have the same issue on one of my iPhone 5S's! Of the two iPhone 5S's I have only one has this "SharedPac..." icon which I cannot remove.

Your iPhone 4S should be able to run iOS 8. If you are unable to update directly from the device, have you tried updating it from iTunes?

If you're not able to enable Location Services on your iPhone 4s, first restart the device:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Next, try resetting the location settings on the device to factory default:
If you would like to reset all of your location settings to the factory default, go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset Location & Privacy. When your location and privacy settings are reset, apps will stop using your location until you grant them permission.

If the Location Services option is still grayed out, you may need to back up your iPhone and restore the iOS software using iTunes:

Why is Airdrop on my new Macbook Pro 10.9.5 not discovering my iPhone 5s iOS8.0.2
Bluetooth on.
On same wireless home network.
Selected Airdrop to everyone on my iPhone 5s.
Macbook Pro was bought in August still not discovering my iphone. Airdrop icon in Finder just keeps spinning.
I'm signed into my Apple ID on the both devices. My admin login account for my Macbook is also connected to my Apple ID.
If only i could transfer selected photos to my Macbook!

Has anyone experienced issues with images on wordpress based websites on an ipad air running ios8?

I have a website that displays images in black on an ipad air - it didn't do this before I upgraded to iOS8. The same website works fine on an ipad 2 gen 4 and iphone 4 running iOS8 and the images show when I use other browsers on the ipad air. What is going on?

I got sick of these apps disappearing and finally gave in to doing a full delete all content and settings from phone - then restored from an iCloud backup and it fixed the issue. for now....

Received a FaceTime call this morning. Caller was using an iPhone 5S running iOS7. I have a 5S running iOS8.0.2
Once complete neither of us could disconnect from the call. The usual "red button" was not operating. I finally powered off my phone and that forced the disconnect. Both phones now seem OK, but we have not used FaceTime since.
Additional: I was on a home WiFi at the time. Caller was on the Verizon Cell system (no WiFi at that end.)
Anyone else have this problem?

For anyone else reading this thread, it is worth knowing that sometimes an email is, or can be, corrupted thereby jamming the works. The solution above is good, but I just wanted to suggest another one.
If the problem arises, go to an online mail access service, such as Mail2Web.com and login to you mail account there and delete the offending message.
Problem solved.
And George, as this is all entirely voluntary, whinging about no takers may not endear people to you. Besides which, a few minutes of searching on Google would have found you a number of solutions.

UDPATE:
Spoke with Express lane, and issue was escalated. Kudos to the support guys that handled this one (Brian and Yi). Went through everything in detail and took all the crash dumps off the iphones and ipads to send to engineering.
After backing up the contacts, the recommendation was to delete all contacts in iCloud. Doing that caused my iCloud to crash (in the browser), so more crash dumps were sent to apple.
Eventually got all contacts deleted, then did a resync. Looks like IOS devices are coming back to life and syncing again.
Also, Outlook iCloud connector has just been updated to ver 1.0.1 so i installed that on their recommendation.
BOTTOM LINE workaround:
1. Backup contacts
2. Delete contacts in iCloud
3. Delete accounts on IOS devices
4. Recreate accounts on IOS devices.
Hoping a real root cause can be found and real fix implemented. This has caused me to doubt the stability of iCloud, so i will procees with caution.

An iPad 2 will do it...for awhile. Realize that it's seemingly on it's last legs as far as iOS updates go and performance will not be great enough for today's demanding games. Also realize that a big part of running apps smoothly is how much system RAM (the memory area that the apps actually run in) the device has. The iPad 2 has 512 MB which is adequate for most apps but not for some. The iPads above the iPad 2 all have 1 GB of system RAM and the iPad Air 2 has 2 GB.
The time will come when the iPad 2 can no longer be updated past a certain iOS version (as the iPad 1 is) so it will be more difficult to keep up with apps that you want to be using. This will eventually happen to ALL devices so you'll have to judge if you want to be at the tail-end of iOS updates or at least have a bigger buffer with a newer iPad.

Then, yes, you can. The main part of the "reflection" is just a portion of a circle overlaid on the image with a white gradient. If you put that shape over almost any image, you'll get something really close to the look you're going for. I've uploaded a doc to iWork.com that you can deconstruct to see how it's done. Since the last update my iphone runs out of battery power in half the time it used to. I have followed all the advice about turning off anything that consumes energy but it has had no effect. I also keep getting a no service message which can only be fixed by resetting my next work connections.. I am starting to lose my enthusiasm for apple and I think my next phone will be an android. Delete you mail account on the phone and disable to sync your mail account in the info pane in iTunes with your phone connected, same for contacts. Also deselect photo syncing in the photo pane. After the following sync, your mail, contact and photos should be gone.
Photos inside the camera roll have to be deleted on the phone.
Remember, that apps only can be used with the account they were bought with. If the phone will be set up with a different iTunes account, all of your apps will be removed.
