SharePoint 2010 Unable to execute query: Error 0x80131530

I am seeing the below error message in the ULS logs while accessing some set of items in the list and the item will not get
opened after long tim.
"Unable to execute query: Error 0x80131530
Unknown SPRequest error occurred. More information: 0x80131530
System.Web.HttpException: Request timed out."
This list has 202 items in total with 45 columns in total (includes
5 lookup columns, 3 append history columns).
Items which has more than 20 versions is not loading.
In the same site, there is another list of the same template with 2009 items and some items with more
than 80 versions works fine.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion to fix this.

Yes there are 2 simple SPD workflows. One of the workflow operation is to send email and other one is to create an item in another based on condition.
The other list which works fine also has similar SPD workflows.

Network Place to SharePoint 2010 unable to access sub sites with error: "The folder may have been moved or deleted".

I am working on SharePoint 2010 Enterprise and had recently upgraded our site from Sharepoint 3.0 Services to SharePoint 2010 Enterprise. Everything seems to be working fine for the site, but there is one issue. The problem I am running into
is when I create a Network Place, I am able to view the documents and lists of the main page, but if I click on a folder for a sub site, I get the following error:
"Documents in this folder are not available. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network problems may be preventing a connection to the server. There is a problem with the web server. Please try again later or contact the
server administrator."
If there were a network issue, I would not be able to navigate around on the main page to lists and document libraries. This seems to affect all of the sub sites on my site. Explorer view works if that information is required and I do not get
error messages using Explorer view.

SharePoint 2010 migrated to claims - strange error

We have successfully migrated our portal web application and users to claims based authentication.
We notice not however that site owners (sharepoint group) can no longer create sub sites from our to main site collection.
If they are made Site administratos however, they can create the sub site.
The error we get is as follows:

We get no error if the same user have been set as site administrator when trying to create the subsite.
We do not use kerberos on our web application. I read somewhere that enabling claims to windows token service could help. Have tried this.
Googling has somewhat pointed towards setting up claims to windows token service properly with a domain account, but i just cant see why we would need to use this service..

Thanks for posting your issue,
You need to have permission level of creating sub-sites on the top level site too to be able to create a site in your sub-site.
However, the SharePoint sites are managed by the sites’ hierarchy and every top level site can have several subsites. It is necessary for us to have the corresponding permission on the top level site if we want to create a sub-site in the sub-site of the top
level site.

Executing query error: System error in program SAPLRRI2 and form REP_A

Hello Experts,
I am facing problem while executing query.
I have activated a query from BI content. The query is activated successfully in development and running successfully in development, so I transported the same into QA.
When I execute this query into quality, automatically debuger opens. After I come out of debuger I get following error message:

System error in program SAPLRRI2 and form REP_ASSIGN_INITIAL_OPT-01- (see long text)
Error when generating dataProvider "
This query is using some standard structures, which are running successfully in other queries in QA.

Try to regenerate the query in RSRT t.code.
   ie) RSRT - give the query name - Generate report ( icon will be there near to Execute + debug) .
After generating the report, (logoff and login )try to execute the query again ..if the above solution doesn't work, check the below OSS notes which may help for you.

Setting SharePoint 2010 Form Fields Using Query String Variables

Hi All,
I have a requirement to populate sharepoint form field value with query string while uploading document to document library.
While uploading the document to document library, I want to populate claim number available from query string in a pop up page i.e in my case EditForm.aspx, Located at
http://servername:port/sitename/documentlibraryname/forms/EditForm.aspx.
Additional Information:
Created document library and added custom columns like claim number etc..
Created a view to filter uploaded documents as per claim number.
Server Details:
Windows Server 2008 R2
SharePoint 2010
SQL Server 2008 R2
I have written javascript for the same, but not sure where exactly to add the code in EditForm.aspx page.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

if the NewForm.aspx contain a "New Item Form" or "Edit Item Form" you can populate the form field by doing the following:
First for the data view create a parameter from query string and give it the claim_number query string name.
now for the field Claim Number Convert it to normal ASP.NET TextBox example below for this
Normal Field will be like this

Office 2013 vs SharePoint 2010 - Unable to check out documents to SharePoint drafts folder

My company is foisting Office 2013 on us without upgrading SharePoint 2010 Enterprise. One of the issues I have discovered since receiving Office 2013 is that SharePoint no longer provides the option to save checked out documents to my local drafts folder.
This is despite having Office set to save checked-out files to the server drafts location and the Office Document Cache Handler enabled in IE9. Is there a registry setting or something I can change that will re-enable this feature?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to re-enable the add-on Office Document Cache Handler in IE9.
We can re-enable the add-on in IE9 using Group Policy:
Launch the Group Policy Editor.
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Security Features > Add-on Management >
Add-on List.
Set this policy to 'Enabled'.
In the Add-on List, add the CLSID of BHO (Browser Helper Object) (i.e.) {B4F3A835-0E21-4959-BA22-42B3008E02FF} as the ‘Value Name’ and 1 as the 'Value'.
Log out of the machine and log back in again for the setting to take effect.

PerformancePoint in SharePoint 2010 - Unable to get filter values from... Error 10828

I currently am using PPT to expose data from a Microsoft Analysis Server cube. The cube is wide open and requires no permissions to access.
The behavior of my filters is odd as sometimes they work perfectly fine, and other times I receive the following error upon report run:
Unable to get filter values.
An unexpected error occurred. Error 10828. Additional details have been logged for your administrator.
I have looked at the ULS logs and found the following:

This is odd to me, as I can trick the report to run by changing the date filters to another day, then back to the original days that error'ed out and everything is fine. Some guidance would be appreciated.

Do you mean that you have Office 2007 and Office 2010 both installed in you computer?
Based on my test, I copy a Access 2010 database into a computer only installed Offic 2007, then using Excel 2007 to import Access database data, no error occurred.
So double click the Access database to see whether the databased is opened with Access 2007 or Access 2010. If it is opened with Access 2010, then try to save it as Access 2007 to
check the issue.

SSRS 2012 with SharePoint 2010: Unable to connect to the remote server

We had originally installed SSRS 2012 with SP 2010 and I did not like how the installation was configured, so we uninstalled everything and removed the SSRS server from the SharePoint farm and uninstalled all the SQL bits (SSRS was deployed to web tier in
sharepoint mode).
I've since added a new application server to host the SSRS SharePoint Mode and Installed the reporting services add-in on the WFE. For reference, I have 1 WFE and 2 App Servers. the WFE has the Reporting Service Add-in and both App Servers have
the SharePoint mode of SSRS installed as described here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh479774(v=sql.110).aspx
I've also installed the Service Application and all seems to work well up until I make an attempt to create a report or data source on the WFE.
It looks like somewhere, the WFE is still looking to connect to the original SSRS machine we installed. I've gone through registry, config files and the SharePoint config database to see if I can see where the reference value is. Still can't
find it anywhere. None of the Reporting commandlets are helping.
Technically what is occurring;
Add Reporting service content types and create a New Reporting Data Source through UI
ULS Logs go after the url: /_layouts/ReportServer/NewSharedDataSource.rsds
Exception occurs after some time because it times out trying to connect to wrong host. Exception below:

It's not a bug, your syntax just isn't Oracle syntax.
I googled a bit (which you could have done yourself as easily) and it appears that your syntax is JDBC syntax. The Oracle equivalent is timestamp:

That looks worryingly like an optimizer bug. "SYS_ALIAS_2" is a system-generated name it assigns to a subquery, but the fact that you're getting a parse error from the remote database suggests that something went wrong after successfully parsing and transforming locally. The remote database isn't on a wildly different Oracle version or anything is it? What versions are you on? My guess is it chooses a different execution plan in your two cases, and one of them fails. You might try experimenting with the DRIVING_SITE hint (wild guess), otherwise you may need to start looking at tracefiles and talking to Oracle Support.

Unable to execute query 'TerrSearch'

I am trying to execute a query as per below but i get a runtime error CX_CRM_UNSUPPORTED_OBJECT.
Can anybody explain why this is happening as i have used the same code to execute queries on other objects but this error happens only for 'TerrSearch' ?
I am able to execute this query directly from GENIL_BOL_BROWSER for this object.

the coding seems fine so far. Just copied and executed it in our system.
Maybe you can try starting BOL component set "TM" instead of "ALL". The name "ALL" by no means stands for all BOL component sets. It is just one huge one that you should avaoid where possible.
The error message you get usually comes up when you are using the wrong component set and the object is not present in it. Have a look at variable PROPERTIES_TAB in method CL_CRM_GENIL_OBJ_MODEL->IF_GENIL_OBJ_MODEL~GET_OBJECT_KIND() with the debugger during runtime.

I am not able to see the sharepoint site vertical scroll bar in Safari and Mozilla firefox in window OS as well as Mac OS , even I have tried with various option of the browser but still not able to see the vertical scroll bar.
I have tried to check with other sharepoint site in Windows OS and found that I can see others sites vertical scroll bar in Safari and Mozilla firefox , Please let me know why I am not able to see for my sharepoint sites.

Screen in jammed or how it looks without vertical scroll bar ? Check with site master page if you have modified anything related to vertical bar or else Try in other system and check if you are able to see vertical bar .

Random users receive an unexpected error when trying to access SharePoint 2010 farm.

Over the past few months we had occasions where established users trying to connect to my production SharePoint 2010 farm receive a correlation error page when trying to access the farm. I have two WFEs load balanced and the errors show up on either so it
doesn't happen on just on or the other. Specifically today it was three users in one office out of about 15 that were affected the rest were able to access the farm without any problems and there were no other reports from other offices. Each time the
user can eventually get in without any outside intervention it just seems to fix itself after a few hours. Each time it happens I search the logs for the CorrelationID(s) and everytime I see the same set of errors in the ULS logs. I also go check the Windows
Security logs to make sure they connected to the server okay. I've confirmed that the Web App's PortalSuperUserAccount and PortalSuperReaderAccount are both set correctly. Just looking to see if anyone has experienced this and figured what was happening and
how to fix it.

Unknow error occured while Updating Mpp file to sharepoint 2010 list

Any body can help me here whenever i am syncing any mpp file to sharepoint 2010 list i am getting error that

1- once you are done with creating MPP file save as .MPP file Type in all files and store in the same site where you would like to view/see.
3- create new project task.
4- now open the file and start syncing give the site name only there you will get a drop of your project task in second column which you just created.
5- validate and start syncing .
NOTE :- whenever you are making any modification in file make sure that you haacve saved the file by slecting as .MPP in all file & stored in the same site .

Consuming SharePoint 2010 Lists Data in the SSRS 2008 R2 Reports

When I am trying to create a report using SharePoint 2010 List I am getting error.
Firstly I opened SQL BI Development Studio, then created Shared DataSource then created Report.
Then from Report Data pane created Data Source and all was Ok
But when I am creating DataSet for the SharePoint 2010 List and when clicking on Query Builder and running the query I am getting following error:
"Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown".
Now what should I do next to connect my SharePoint List.
