For troubleshooting your issue better, please provide more information or some screenshots about your issue.
Anyway, please add the site into IE Trusted Site, compare the result.
Add the site into IE compatibility view, compare the result.
Please test with other browsers, like Firefox or Google, compare the result.

I am a new user of dreamweaver CS5. I have designed some pages which are using Spry Dataset. It is working perfect in Firefox and IE 7 but it was not working at all in IE 8. Ben asked me to paste the following into the <HEAD> section

Hi Suboohi,
I think the problem may be the pictures themselves. They do not seem to be loading quickly which gives the impression that they are not showing, especially when you have a slow connection.
You might look at optomising the pictures and preloading the images to allow your site to work properly.

Gasbuddy web site not working properly with firefox, but working fine with explorer

I've noticed when I load the web site gasbuddy.com, it is not working properly. It does load, just not performing like it should. When I try using gasbuddy.com on explorer 9, it works fine. I've already tried working in safe mode and that didn't solve the problem with gasbudy.com. Any suggestions as to how to fix the problem? I did do some prior investigating, and I'm very cautious about removing my cookies. It seems when I do that procedure, I lose too much info on certain web sites----weather.com, weatherunderground, etc. Just not sure how to remove cookies to solve a problem with out causing other problems? Thank you.

I'm glad we were able to figure it out. Many sites are designed with stretchy columns that work with either full zoom or text-only zoom, but definitely not all of them.

HELP: SharePoint 2013 Search NOT working - unable to resolve

Please make sure Search Host Controller Service, Search Query and Site Settings Service, SharePoint Server Search are started on manange services on server.
Then check the Search service application, and make sure search application topology is ok.
Then reset Index, and run a full crawl. After crawling, search again, compare the result.

Sharepoint 2013 "Variations" not working

I created a publishing site on Sharepoint online. I have left the "Variation Settings" as it is , i.e. default. I created source and target label and created hierachy. Source Label is english and target is french. After they got created by
the timer job, I created a document library in the source and added text file with some content in english. On the home page of source, I added some text ,clicked on variations and gave update all targets.
1. But after the timer job ran, I went to the french site and the content had come in english,so I published it and clicked "Machine Translate", I got an email that the job was complete, but when I went to the site, the content was still in english.
Wasn't it supposed to be converted to french?
2. After the document got created in target label, I clicked on Machine Translate ->selected items, it's been 24 hrs and still the content is in english. Am i missing something in both the above scenarios?

According to your description, the Variation Settings does not work after configuration.
Did you see the content in the root site URL ?
After you create variation hierarchy, the sub site for multi-language will be created.
For English language, the sub site URL will be like “http://www.contoso.com/en-us”.
For French language, the sub site URL will be like “http://www.contoso.com/fr-fr”.
I suggest you check the URL you visited and make sure it is right.

SharePoint 2013 Workflows not working

I am currently attempting to get SharePoint 2013 workflows working, i have installed the workflow manager and linked it to SharePoint but when i run any 2013 workflow i get the following error:

Based on your description, my understanding is that when you ran SharePoint 2013 workflow, an error occurred.
You can try to re-register the Workflow Service.

My nav menu is not working properly in IE8

My nav menu (all css) is not properly working in IE8 (no surprise). The submenu (under contact) seems to disappear when you attempt to hover & try to select on it. Not sure if it's a z-index thing or not. The menu works just fine in firefox, safari, chrome, and opera (of course). All code for the site has been validated and revalidated. I work in Dreamweaver CS4.
No matter what I do, IE always seems to give me issues.

I see the menu when the browser window is wider than about 1180px.<br />
If the window is smaller than I get the menu button.<br />
In Google Chrome this works the same.

I have installed Lync 2013 FE server and it was working fine until yesterday. I am not able to Csenable users or couldnot open Lyncserver controlpanel. I am receiving error about unauthorized authorization failed. I restarted sql browser service,uninstall
ms silverlight and all other options which showed online, but I am getting same error. Please help me to find the solution this.

On your Lync Front End Server, open IIS, expand Lync Server Internal Web Site, browse cscp to check if you can access successfully. If you can access the website successfully, the issue is more of a DNS issue.

I've started having trouble using Safari with specific websites, the one that's most disturbing is Apple.com! When I try and open the education store (via links on site) I get a

also with netflix.com when trying to access my account info the site redirects me to the home screen. I'm getting similar page non-compliance with my school website.
using firefox I don't have these issues, what gives?

Netflix haven't updated to comply with Safari 5 yet, but in the meantime they offer the following solution:

and now when i run my jdeveloper application, my page is working fine with https but after running my application on https if i change it to http then also it is working after few refresh....
i.e my page is disabled with http....
but this issue is working fine on mozilla and IE9...

Java Script Code not working properly for visios in sharepoint 2013

Hi all ,
I have few visios and I am using the visio web part to display and to redirect from one visio to other visio I am using the java script code through content editor web part .
In share point 2010 it's working fine , I was able to redirect to all the visios and code is working fine .
In share point 2013 its not the same , Its not working properly . only for the first time the code is working fine . once it goes to next visio the code stops working .
For example if i click in visio A it gets redirect to Visio B and its stops working , it wont allow to do any other steps .
I have checked with the URL its correct , I am not able to find any error also .

This will be likely caused by the Minimal Download Strategy not registering the Javascript on the page reload. You can turn off the MDS feature to test this.
You can either turn off MDS in your site, or register your Javascript functions with MDS to ensure they are called. To do this, you'll need all of your code to be wrapped in a javascript file (Embed this on the page using a <script> tag and
inside that file in a function, which you then register with MDS as follows (I usually do this in the first line of the javascript file):-

Will Office Web Apps Server 2013 work with SharePoint 2013 sites hosted in SP2010 compatibility mode?

We are planning a upgrade of a SP2010 farm to 2013. There has been a bit of customization so we wish to run the old sites on the new SP2013 platform in SP2010 compatibility mode.
So my question is will Office Web Apps Server 2013 work with the old sites hosted in compatibility mode?

According to your description, my understanding is that you need to know whether Office Web Apps 2013 is working with SharePoint 2013 sites which is in SharePoint 2010 compatibility mode.
For my test, Office Web Apps 2013 with SharePoint 2013 sites which is in SharePoint 2010 compatibility mode is working fine.

I have lost track of the number of websites that do not work properly on the iPad without Adobe Flash player which is unsupported. I cannot use retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. All are missing tabs, links, info

I have lost track of the number of websites which do not work properly on my iPad. They include retail sites, billing sites and most important of all job application sites. They all seem to require Adobe Flash Player which cannot be downloaded onto an iPad. Skyfire does not solve the problem. They all load without vital parts of the site such as tabs, links and correct formatting. Any suggestions?

Most such brower/service combinations have a difficult time working with Flash-based apps and often fail completely. Flash videos are usually the most successful content these browers can handle. You can try the others apps - Puffin, iSwifter, etc - but you may find that none of them work, in which case you will not be able to use your iPad with these sites other than by using one of the various remote control solutions to take over a computer running the full Flash Player.
IMHO, any developer that built a Flash application for a billing or job application site was an idiot, but I know that's out of the control of anyone but the relevant company.

After Security updation of Windows 7 in Boot Camp (Mac Book Pro with Retina Display) on 13-Nov-2013, Windows 7 Desktop Gadgets are not working properly.
This is boot camp problem, because in other normal notebooks (e.g. SONY VAIO, Lenovo with Windows 7) the gadgets are working normally.
I am attaching the screen shot of Desktop Gadgets and Security updates of Windows 7.
Kindly solve this issue ASAP.

You are not addressing Apple, but a community of unpaid volunteers. So ASAP won't cut it. Also, you should refrain from posting personal information (like your email address) in the body of your comments, as this is part of the community usage guidelines.
Have you reinstalled the latest Boot Camp Windows 7 drivers, just in case Microsoft overwrote some of them during the Windows 7 security update?
If you want to communicate issues with Apple about Boot Camp and OS X, click on the link. Just don't hold your breath on receiving a response.
