SharePoint Apps can be installed and added to a site, but can not be started
Hello,
I followed this guide to enable SharePoint Apps on our SP Foundation 2013: http://sharepointchick.com/archive/2012/07/29/setting-up-your-app-domain-for-sharepoint-2013.aspx. On top I did the configuration of the Subscription Settings Service that is
mentioned in the guide with a link to msdn.
Now we are able to add Apps to a site through SharePoint Store with a user with the needed rights ( System Account can not do this). The link that is created for the app matches our configuration of App URLs, but when I click on the added app on my site,
the website can not be found. It seems like the apps aren't really added to the server.
I also don't know how I can add apps to the app catalog I created.

Hi Chn,
I wanted to confirm first. After you went through the configurations, you created an App Catalog site and that's where you're adding your App? (Steps here:

Is this your own test App? Does it have to be registered? When does the error appear - is it when you Trust the App on your site?

Message was edited by: WoildbillI just spent several hours dealing with this when switching to a new PC. It was extremely frustrating as I knew my files were on my external HD but no matter how many times I copied my old iTunes folder over the files were still missing...because dummy me had forgotten to "unhide folders" on my new PC and my old files were actually stored in a hidden folder created long long ago.
This is how I did it on Windows 7 with iTunes 10
1. Look in iTunes Advanced Preferences to see where iTunes is saving files. (Edit, Preferences, Advanced)
Example: C:/Users/Woildbill/My Music/iTunes/Music
2. Ensure you are able to see hidden files - Control Panel, Folder Option, View, Show Hidden Files
3. Use Your Computer's Search Function to Locate the Missing File (Start, Search, type name of song - I started my search in "My Music" folder but be sure to expand to entire Computer if not found right away)
4. In Search Results, right-click found folder and select properties. This will tell you where the file is actually stored.
5. Use Windows Explorer (right-click start) to navigate to the location of the file. It is likley your other missing files are in the same location.
6. In Windows Explorer, copy the newly located files to the iTumes location from Step 1 and everything should work again.

My ipod will not connect to my home wifi, it can see it and asks for a password but will not connect. I have tried it at another location and it will connect to other wifi connections. I have another ipod that is connecting just fine to my home wifi.

Somehow, I have 5 apps trying to install...they all say "working" but they aren't installing. I have hooked my ipad to my computer and tried to figure out how to sync them because I thought that would help, but it didn't. Anyway I can stop them from trying to install?

But A1181 only can start up windows 7, can't startup leopard. It display: Not bootable disk, please insert bootable disk. I insert leopard install cd into this A1181. It can identify the Mac Install DVD.But double click the install DVD icon. It display:Can not Bootable disk. Why?How can resolve this problem.

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

I have PS CS6 installed on my computer, purchased PS CC, went to the available downloads, but I am confused as to how to download the CC Photoshop with the new features as it tells me I already have CS 6 installed,and I do not see any refrence to a CC Photoshop downoad, I would appreciate any direction as to how to download the PS CC that I have subscribed to.

As a Creative Cloud member, you're entitled to the Creative Cloud suite. (If you're Photoshop CC only, then you'll be eligible for Photoshop CC.)
Question or two for Nancy (or those in the know.):
a) You said: "But before you download & install the new CC, be sure the read the release notes, tech specs, etc...)"
These aren't posted yet, or are they? If so, whereabouts?
b) Do you know if the CC apps replace CS6 applications, or add them separately - like CS 5.5, CS 6 - in their own folders. Knowing these downloadble products, and I don't just mean Adobe, but Microsoft, Apple, etc. sometimes botch their downloads at first, I'd hate to be "Adobe-less."

I've got 2 desktops and a laptop at home. Can i install lightroom 5 and use them on all 3 devices? The database is a cloud system or will it be in the local drive?
you can concurrently install and activate on two computers.
you can save files using adobe's cloud file service (mainly to sync your files) but you should always have local copies saved. -

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Power cycle the router.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved. -

All Apple iTunes Store accounts must have a valid form of payment set up. Even for free apps and updates. The Payment Declined message comes from your card issuer or payment source; Apple is just a pass-through for the message. You need to find out why your issuer is declining your card.

I've paid $ 3,99 for Xcode for Snow Leopard 12 days ago. After installing Lion I saw there is a new FREE Xcode for it, so I downloaded the new one but after installing automatically Xcode for Lion the Developer folder contained the old one. I deleted the old Xcode but the App Store says "Installed" and don't allow me re-download Xcode.
How can I proceed? I'm guessing whether this problem will occur each time I buy an application from App Store.Yes, that's righ, Xcode installer was in the Apps folder. I assumed it had been automatically installed and the installer deleted after installation (the same way as Lion is installed).
I tried also the procedure for redownloding applications, and MAS showed both Xcodes (Lion and Snow Leopard) and OS X Lion. We see that buttons for Lion and Xcode for Snow Leopard say 'Install' but Xcode for Lion says 'installed' because there is an Install Scode in the Apps folder.

How do I delete partially installed apps. I erased iPad and installed iOS8. I installed new apps. Suddenly all paged populated with old apps that never install and I can not delete.

After installing the new Yosemite OS on my iMac I can no longer send email. I can receive email, but not send. I use gmail and can send email on the gmail (google) site, but not on "mail" on my iMac. Any others with this problem? What should we do?
My gmail, which is correctly configured for Mail with gmail SMTP and Google IMAP, works for awhile on Mail, which I leave open while working on other applications. But several times a day I get msg from Google: "We recently blocked a sign-in attempt to your Google Account" . . . and requiring me to verify my account details, re-enter passwords, confirm security settings (or change them from "disable" to "enable less secure methods" and so on). In Mail I also have tried "taking all accounts online", and re-entering my gmail password inside Mail account settings. These steps successfully re-set comms between gmail and Mail ... for awhile, then it happens again. Enough occurrences over a work day that I just quit Mail and revert to accessing gmail directly. Apple Care advisor and an Apple knowledge base article say that Apple can't deal with this, as gmail is third-party app, and they refer me to gmail, and so far I've found nothing helpful there.
From today I also have several instances of a window saying "Mail has unexpectedly closed" and asking me to Re-open it.
I also use Yahoo mail, which stops working with Mac Mail at the same time as gmail, but I do not receive notices to re-verify from Yahoo.
I recently upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite. The Mail problem happened occasionally with Mavericks but is far more frequent with Yosemite. -

- Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into your account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -

If the thief enabled activation lock on the device, then there is nothing that can be done. Only the password for the Apple ID that it is locked with can disable activation lock.
