SharePoint Central Admin not loading Content Sources

Hello,
We have one SSP1 and one FAST server installed in farm. All the application were working fine as expected till Monday afternoon but then we saw Index Partition was showing in disabled state on Search Application Topology web part of Search Administration
page. We tried enabling the service without any luck. Next day we saw even bigger issue: System Status and Search Application Topology web parts on Search Administration page stopped loading the content. It keeps on saying "loading..." but never
loads anything.
On navigating to Content Sources, Crawl Rules, Crawl log links, all show below mentioned error:

Custom event details:
We tried almost every solution we could find on web. Restarted all possible services on all servers, rebooted whole farm twice but still no luck. With this error we are not able to load our website with all the search results.

Team Foundation Server 2013 update 4 New Install - Error 503 Service Unavailable for Sharepoint Central Admin

Hello,
I ran a new install of Team Foundation Server and let it install the built in SharePoint pieces on a single server setup. After the install i'm able to access the
http://teamfoundation:8080/tfs/ address without issue but am unable to create a project. When I attempt to create a project I get the following error:
TF30172: You do not have permission to create a new team project (when checking security i'm a member of the project collection administrators and Team Foundation Administrators)
This led me to look at the sharepoint central administration site where I receive the following error:
Error 503 Service Unavailable
I've gone through and validated the identity is set correctly in IIS for the following services:
SharePoint Central Admin v4
SharePoint15AppPool
The SharePoint Web Services Root is set as LocalService instead of the domain user.
The identity domain user is setup as local administrator on the Team Foundation Server. They are all set to use .net v4.0.30319 with integrated Pipeline mode.

In your TFS Admin Console>>Extensions for SharePoint Products tab, ensure SharePoint Web Application shows correctly in the right panel. And go to TFS Admin Console>>Application Tier>>SharePoint Web Applications tab, ensure your SharePoint
web application displays in the right panel, then select your SharePoint web application and click Repair Connection, ensure can repair successfully.
In your IIS Manager, select your SharePoint Central Administration V4 site and click Browser:17012(http) in the right panel, check if your SharePoint Central site can be opened successfully or not. If your SharePoint Central site cannot be accessed, I think
this issue relate to your SharePoint site, you should contact SharePoint experts to resolve this issue first. After you resolved this issue and your SharePoint Central Admin site can be accessed correctly, then try to create your team project(within SharePoint
site) again, if there still has issue when creating team project, please share the detailed error message here, we will try to resolve it.

Unable to Edit the Target Audience in SharePoint Central Admin 2010

Hi,
I'm currently running SharePoint 2010 SP1, and generating this error when I tried to either add/remove a rule within one of my Audiences w/n the Central Admin. The error I'm getting is, "An error has occurred while accessing SQL database
or system resources. If this is the first time you have seen this message, please try again later. If this problem persists, please contact your administrator". I'm using AD, and these rules are actually AD-related accounts in which I'm trying
to remove, and it's not letting me, and please note the AD accounts still exist within my network.
I'm aware if an AD account is deleted, and when you try to remove that rule from the Audience, it will give you an error. I'm not sure how to resolve this, but the issue I'm having is one in which the AD account is not deleted as of yet.
I would appreciate if anyone has a permanent solution to this?

From your description, my understanding is that you cannot edit Audience under manage audience.
Please try to reset your IIS with command iisreset.

Device Central will not load web pages

Started using Device Central to view a web site I'm designing
for a client. Loading within Dreamweaver and Device Central, pages
will not load, the program stalls. I have had no luck in finding
information on-line and cannot re install the application ( it's
not listed in the reinstall items on my Adobe Web Premium CD ) .
Some help would be much appreciated!! Running OS X 10.5 on a 2.4
GHz Intel Core Duo Mac Book Pro.

Right but like so many things, what works for you does not
work for me (this was while loading a locally stored, plain old
html page in the same manner you used).

Javascript not loading content after updating from firefox 26 to 27

on my site i have a page on which javascript pre-loads the content and then shows it.
this thing was working perfectly fine on firefox 26 but soon as i updated to firefox 27
the content doesn't show after loading
Like i have an image for 'loading content' which first appears and then the loaded content
shows up. This image is still showing in version 27 but the content which shows after is not showing at all.
I inspected the page and the divs and content is there but its just not visible somehow.
Please help me with this problem .. im stuck with this if it doesn't show up. Thanks.

this doesn't solve the problem.
actually its working on all other browsers, the content is showing.
but its not working on firefox 27. what problem could it be which is preventing version 27 from loading the content when its working just fine on version 26 (i just checked it on a different system with version 26).
also there was an instance when the same content wasn't loading on version 26 also but it was a problem due to some pinterest script. once i removed it everything became just fine i.e. content started loading (on version 26). Now, if that helps in deducing the problem please help me out.

Flash Player does not load content

We have a page that should load a video but it will not work on all browsers. It works for some users in the company on IE 9 but for some of the employees it will not load. It works fine on Chrome. We are on Flash Player version 14.0.0.145, Windows 7, IE 9.

Webview does not load content properly when disabling its scrolling through script

I have an App in which I need to show some html content in a page but I have given my App's scrolling in it. So whole page needs to scroll combined. To achieve this I use two WebViews to navigate to string and get height of content by javascript from first
webview and assign it to second webview and then disable it's default scrolling. I have taken a rectangle over it to allow user to scroll in page. This strategy works fine where content is low but if the content is large in webview it shows blank page in top
and down and shows some content in middle. Sometimes it does not show content but Height gets assigned. I tried using RichTextBlock but it does not parse all type of tags and I don't want WebView to scroll but to adjust it's height according to content. can

SharePoint 2013 SSRS in SharePoint Mode - Reports not loading controls.

Hello All,
I have recently run across an issue that has stumped me and my DBA. We have just walked through installing SSRS 2012 w/SP1 in SharePoint (SharePoint 2013) mode according to these instructions
here. Everything went just fine during the install.
When I create a an SSRS report and preview it in Visual Studio, the report looks great. When I upload that report to a SharePoint library, the report does not return any data and all I see are black X's where all the report controls should be. No drop down
menus and the tool bar across the top of the report does not display correctly.
I've been combing through the ULS and IIS logs and all that I have found are 404's in the IIS logs. I see 404's for each control image that the report is trying to render. Example below.

Content selector is not loading content in application

Hi all,
I am working on weblogic portal 10.2 and MySQL 5.
I have created one content selector using workshop and i can preview the content in workshop
Same content I can see using weblogic portal admin console.
And written a JSP to display the content in it.
But that content is displaying in JSP.
Please let me know how to debug or findout rootcause for this type of problems.

Please send the JSP code snippet. Are you using this cs tag or pz tag or just have content API or content tags code to show the content. Please note that if you have Library Services enabled, only Published content will be shown. So make sure all your content is publised. There are many packages to enable for debug like com.bea.content.*. But first check your code snippet only.

Help viewer is not loading content

When I try to view the help files for certain apps, nothing loads. I get a spinning gray wheel. I first noticed this when trying to view the help files for iPhoto (9.5.1), but other apps such as iTunes and iBooks Author have the same problem. Some apps do have help files that work -- probably the ones that ship with Mac OS X such as Calculator.
I am having the same problem on two different MacBook Pro models, both running Mavericks 10.9.4. They are on different networks (my home and work machines).
I did look in the Console for clues and see this whenever the help fails to load:

Sometimes just closing and reopening the Help window will clear up the problem. If it doesn't, log out or restart the computer and try again. Otherwise, you may need to delete the Help cache.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder selected. Move the selected folder to the Trash. Log out, log back in, and test. Help pages will be slow to load at first.
If that doesn't work, the problem may be caused by network conditions. It may go away by itself, though I can't say how long you should wait.
A persistent failure to load help data has been reported as an issue with satellite networks. Test on a different network, if possible. I've also seen at least one report that Photo Stream in iCloud can mysteriously interfere with Help. I'm not sure whether that's true, but try disabling Photo Stream, if applicable.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

Loader Not Loading Content

I have a loader, and it doesn't seem to be loading my content when I am viewing it on my website. However, when I open up my loader.swf in a browser, it loads up my content once it is done loading.

FlashPlayer 11 (non-debug only) + LCCS v2.1.0 targeting FP 10.0 not loading content

Is anyone still compiling apps with LCCS 2.1.0 targeting FlashPlayer 10.0 and running the app in a FlashPlayer 11 ( non-debug ) ?
* Not an issue when I target LCCS 2.1.0 to FP 10.3 but I can't upgrade just yet because of some of our customers
Most of my UI elements ( mx:boxes, video, audio...etc doesn't show up) just trying to see how wide spread is this problem ( it's hard to debug when the issue only occurs in a non-debug version of FlashPlayer 11 )
I was able to collect LCCS info and seems like I'm connecting to a room and all is good, the camera input starts but I don't see any of the UI components:

1) -swf-version is not set when targeting 10.0; -swf-version=12 was set for FP 10.3 integration
2) Correct, LCCS v2.0.0/2.1.0 for Player10.0
3) Flex 4.1 SDK
4) No, non-LCCS elements do not show up
5) Both, Mac and Windows. Yes, Chrome, Firefox ( 3.6 and 7 ), IE 8/9
We found out where the problem lies; fyi our init process is 3 steps:
1) init data
2) connect to room - lets call it lobby view / intermediate room that has no significant UI to indicate we are connectingto LCCS room
3) and finally the full UI that a teacher / student sees
When we get the room URL we also destroy the 'lobby view' room right before rendering the video/audio/full UI to the user. At this point we set the instance to null "_lobbyView = null". Somewhere later in the code _lobbyView is referenced but it's null even though we have null checks around all of _lobbyView instances :/
This line of code causes a Flash RTE but ONLY in a non-debug version of FlashPlayer 11 and I think we are now finding evidence that this issue has been happening in FlashPlayer 10.3 but much rearer. So after our users started upgrading to Flash Player 11 we started seeing the problem show up very frequently. Without code changes on our end, it's odd that upgrade to either the LCCS lib (to Player10.3 lib) or FlashPlayer itself we start seeing this problem come up.

Safari, AIM, and Entourage all will not load content

Ever since a couple days ago, I cannot view web pages in Safari, connect to AIM, or receive/send mail through Entourage. I have not recently downloaded anything and I haven't installed any new programs. The only travesty that I can remember happening recently is that I plugged the AC adapter into the wall (while it was plugged into my computer) and it sparked. After such an occurance in the past, my motherboard died. Although that has not happened yet, I am now faced with the new problem.
I can view sites (i.e. this one) through Internet Explorer, and I can also run Auto Updaters, but that's it. I've already emptied Java cache, Safari cache, and I've deleted the plist for internetconfig. What else can I do?
I would very much appreciate any help with this issue.

I have created a new user, the url bar is there but I cannot customise toolbar, so fairly sure if I remove the url bar I will never get it back.
I did delete the /library/preferences/com.apple.safari.plist after a major Safari crash, it brought the browser back to life, but did not cure my problems.
I can't reinstall the software either as my dvd drive has gone

Sharepoint Central Administration appears to not load css or scripts

We have SBS 2011 with Sharepoint and i'm currently trying to enable a few features in the Central Administration. Our companyweb site works great but when logging in to Central Administration all we get is what appears to be raw HTML and background javascript
errors which cause a number of the buttons to not work at all.
I have uninstalled the Central Administration and reinstalled it but the problem persists.
I have checked the permissions at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033\STYLES
And everything seems to suggest files are available and security is set correctly.
I've also tried to run in Firefox and Chrome with the same results.
Does anyone have any experience of this issue or where to start troubleshooting it.

Please try re-run the "SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard" for your SharePoint farm, see if it would fix this issue.

SP 2010-After adding user from IIS is not found in central admin

Hi Experts,
I am trying to configure my SP 2010 with Form Based Authentication.
After configuring WebSite, STS and Central Admin I added the user from IIS , But not able to found from central admin in Form Authentication.
I checked in database the user is added.
I followed the below blog .

Can experts help me how to get the added user to central admin.

I was finally able to get the FBA working. After many failed attempts, I knew there was a configuration issue which was causing the error.
I provided connection string and provider details at 4 places, instead of the 3 mentioned in various blogs around ->
1. Sharepoint Central Admin
2. Sharepoint Web Services
3. SecurityTokenServiceApplication
4. And finally the web application itself.
The connection string for 2nd and 3rd will remain same however, provider details need to be added.
After completing this step, I was able to login using Form Based Authentication without an issue.
