SharePoint connector is disabled on Livecycle ES 2.5 SP2 ?

Greetings to all,
May I know why the SharePoint Connector is disabled in this instance ?
This is just pure install at the very beginning and I wonder why the other connector is OK but this one is off / disabled ?
Cheers,
Albert

Hi  Albert,
Yes, you are right. You can refer to this for guidance: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/install_sharepoint.pdf

    Hey N Santosh,
is there a more firm timeline for SP2013 support in ES4 now?
We're also on ES2 and SP2010 (without integration), looking to upgrade to ES4 and SP2013 (with integration) in the next couple of months and it would be handy to know if we're going to be able to do the integration from the start or if it's something we'll have to come back to later.
    Thanks

  • SharePoint connector does not start up

    Hello,
I just have installed a new DataSync server with the SharePoint connector.
    The NTLM rpm is installed
Using the FireFox browser on the DataSync server, I can go to the SharePoint server and be authenticated.
The DataSync server does not have a proxy...
But I got an error when I am starting the connector :
    The error is
    2012-07-24 13:58:58.321 DEBUG_VERBOSE [CP WSGIServer Thread-3] [WebsHandler:56] [userID:] [eventID:] [objectID:] [] <urlopen error [Errno 110] Connection timed out>
    Any idea ....?
    Tx for your help ...
    Stephan

    ---Solved---
Be sure your DataSync server where the SharePoint connector is running does have an Internet connection....
The Connector has to find and download some info from there ...

  • SharePoint Connector ReferenceValue Sync Issue

    Hi,
we use the FIM SharePoint Connector to sync user properties to the UserProfileStore to SharePoint on premise. As soon as we sync multiple ReferenceValues per UserObject the MA mismatches attributes during export (dispite of a confirming import).
    For example:
Attribute A with Value A is exported into Attribute B and vice versa in the UPS. We discovered if we only export one ReferenceValue or none the attribute mapping is ok.
We confirmed the issue on multiple FIM instances, installations and MA configurations.
Has anybody experienced the same behavior with this connector?
Thanks for your suggestions and help.
    Thomas

The topic is a little bit old, but maybe someone has the same problem and no solution, here is mine:
I created a MA for each reference to sync. The reference MA´s do only join to existing data. This works for me so far and now I can sync as many references as I want.

  • Configuring SharePoint Connector for LiveCycle

    Hello,
I am having some trouble setting up the SharePoint connect for LiveCycle. When entering the user credentials in the configuration page, I get a 401 Unauthorized error from Share Point server. However, using the same credentials, I am able to log into the Share Point site successfully.
Both systems are sync'd to the same LDAP and I've followed the instructions quite closely from Configuring LiveCycle ES2 Connector for Microsoft SharePoint.
My settings are similarly as follows:
    Server: sp.lkp.com:80
    User: spuser
    Password: *******
    Domain: LKP
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
The instructions for the server say:
SharePoint Server Host Name: The host name port number of the web application on the SharePoint server, in the format [hostname]:[port]. , should my link point to something more specific than just the server url?
    Thanks in advance.

Should Basic Authentication be enabled as well even if I opt to use NTLM or Kerberos authentication?
I will check if it is enabled when I have a chance to check tomorrow.

  • Custom SharePoint Connector with FAST: Language Detection

Hello. I've got a custom SharePoint 2010 Connector working with FAST.
Almost works fine, but there is a little problem: FAST doesn't want to detect language.
And when I set any language in Advanced Search I've got empty results, because property DetectedLanguage is empty.
So, I've tried to set default fallback language (as it shows in
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2711004)
    But it doesn't help.
p.s. In SharePoint 2013 it works.

    Hi Mikhail,
According to your description, my understanding is that set default fallback language does not work in your SharePoint 2010.
For your issue, you need to install the April 2012 Cumulative Update for FAST Search for SharePoint 2010 which allows you to define a fallback language and character set when automatic detection of the language and encoding fails.

  • How to get the SharePoint user context available in custom federated search connector?

    Hi,
I'm investigating the possibilities for developing a federated search connector for SharePoint 2013 Online. This should allow us to search a customer's database through our custom developed application (both on premise). We intend to develop
an remote federated search connector (using OpenSearch protocol) and configure a result source in SharePoint for that connector.
The problem I'm struggling with is that I want different search results from this ressult source based on the permissions of the user that is executing the search. The admin should find a lot because he has permissions on certain items in the custom
application. The employee should find just a few because he has no permissions on certain items in the custom application. We developed the custom application ourselveds and the search in that application is taking permissions into account: it doesn't
return results if a user doesn't have sufficient permissions. That part works just fine.
However, to be able to use that, the remote federated search connector must be able to identify the user that is executing the search in SharePoint Online. So: how do I get the SharePoint user context in the remote federated search connector?
I know I can configure the replacement token {User.Name} in the result source configuration, but that gives me the name of the user only. This is insufficient to get an identity, principal, token or whatever, that let's me log in into our custom
    application.
I also know that in a provider hosted app, user context is passed through from SharePoint and is known within the remote app. But since result sources need fixed (or anonymous) credentials configuration for connecting to the remote federated search connector,
all users will be using the same credentials. This makes me assume these credentials are for securing communication and cannot be used within the execution of the search within the remote federated search connector.
At the moment, I'm stuck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Ruud.

    Hi,
Per my knowledge, we cannot get the SharePoint user context available in custom federated search connector with other methods.

  • Disable online services/features in Acrobat Reader DC?

With the new update being released from Reader to Acrobat Reader DC, I have concerns with the use of cloud storage and storing sensitive data.
I have looked around and the only information I have found for disabling these new features are in reference to groups who use the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC, which means they would be running an Enterprise version.
I have installed and tested the new Acrobat Reader DC on both Windows and OS X, there are no obvious options for disabling the services that I am referring to.
    Services I am referencing:
    Adobe cloud storage service
    Sending and tracking documents
Syncing across multiple devices (by use of cloud storage)
Is there a way to disable the use of these services on an individual (non Enterprise) install of Acrobat Reader DC?
    Thanks in advanced!

You can use the Adobe Customization Wizard DC on both Reader DC (Classic or Perpetual) versions.
    Adobe Customization Wizard
You can also use the Windows Registry to turn these services OFF.

  • How do I get my XDP form in the SharePoint 2010 Adobe Form library?

I was able to get the Adobe LiveCycle samples for SharePoint to work.  For some reason, I can't get my XDP forms to show up in the selection dropdown in the Adobe Form Library on SharePoint using the Adobe LiveCycle SharePoint connector for SharePoint 2010.
Is there a trick that you have to do to the form to make it available.  The only difference that I noticed was the sample forms used a guide.
We are using Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES3 and we have Adobe LiveCycle server ES4.  We are using SharePoint 2010.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    I got this problem solved.
    Solution:
    Create new Adobe Livecyle form
Have an xsd created for the schema of what is going to be in the form
Import that data model when creating the form
Right-click on xsd data connection in form.  Click Connection Properties.
    Click Next.
Click the checkbox "Embed XML Schema" (This is what I was missing).
    Click Finish.
That's it to make the form show up in the SharePoint Adobe Form Library.
