Sharepoint files (xlsx) connection with VISIO

Hi, I have a problem with VISIO. I can't connect Excel file from SharePoint with VISIO.
I have all files in one folder (visio - vsdx and excel - xlsx) on the SharePoint
and I see excel file in VISIO and I can choose it.
But when I try to connect excel file with VISIO, I see error 80004005
But I don't know why. I can edit excel file one the SharePoint.
In the past someone switched on encryption mode in SharePoint on the folder, where I have files.
Now the option is disabled and still not work

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to connect Excel file from SharePoint with Visio.
Visio Services uses the diagram viewer's SharePoint Server credentials to connect to an .xlsx Excel workbook. For the authentication operation to succeed, the following conditions must be met:
Excel Services must be provisioned correctly and configured on the SharePoint farm.
The workbook must be hosted on the same farm as the diagram.
The diagram viewer must have at least "read" permissions to the Excel workbook

1. Check the system profiles RRA: Service Prefix, SITE value should be FNDFS or blank

Mac Mini loses file sharing connection with Win boxes

I replaced my 2008 vintage Mac Mini with a late 2012 vintage Mac Mini for use as a file server. The files are on an external USB drive that was in use on the earlier box. When I try to stream a movie, or copy files to any of five Win7 or WinXP boxes, the connection is lost after a few minutes. Also, I can rarely open or save directly to the MAC using any application on the Win box. I have to copy the file to the local machine, then copy the modified file back to the Mac. This all worked fine with the Snow Leopard box, but seems to have quit working with Mountain Lion. All of this works on the Mountain Lion box when I use my Mac Air to connect. The Mac external drive is mounted under my Mac account, and the Win boxes have the Mac as a mounted drive using that same account.
Any ideas how to fix this?

A NAS should work. A proper file server will cache active files in memory. So it's not obvious use of SSD storage will speed your service. In any case figure out how to back it up and most important how you will recover after a disaster requiring full recovery.

Kmail opens microsoft excel file (xlsx) attachments with ark

Kmail opens these file types with ark. When I right click and select open with option with "LibreOffice Calc" it works properly. I click the remember option when I doing this but it does not care of my selection and keeps opening these attachments again with ark. Is there any solution about that?

Try changing it in Systemsettings -> File associations

Allowing pdf file to connect with website where it was downloaded from.

I'm working with WIndows 7 Home Edition. I downloaded a pattern in pdf. One of the first times I had the document open, I saw a little message, asking me to allow the document with the website it came from. At that time I didn't want that to happen so I answered 'do not allow' (or words to that effect).
Now, every once in a while I get a little window with the message that permission to connect is denied. It has two clickable buttons, one says 'ok', the other one says 'help'. I would like to know if there is an option somewhere where I can now allow it to connect but if I click 'help' I get to the Adobe website, and for the life of me I cannot find any help with that, anywhere.
I do not know which version of Adobe Reader I have, it is a free version.

Open Adobe Reader in desktop mode (not in a browser) and from the menu choose Edit > Preferences
Select "Trust manager" on the left side, and click the Change Settings button. You'll get a list of the URLs which are blocked or allowed, you can edit and remove the settings from there.

Peformance Turning for File Download / Upload with Enabled SharePoint Audit

Greetings all, may I ask your help for Peformance Issues?
Background:
I tried to create a ASP.NET Web Page to download/upload/list SharePoint file and deployed to IIS website in same application server (will NOT use web part as some users are NOT allowed to direct access confidential workspace)
Besides, for Audit Log record purpose, the page will impersonate (without password) the logged in user:
SPUserToken userToken = web.AllUsers[user].UserToken;
SPSite s = new SPSite(siteStr, userToken);
For File Listing, the web service can provide fast response, and we are using service A/C for connection (as no auting for listing, but require audit for file download upload)
Several implemeation options tested for File Downloiad / Upload, but issues occured and finding listed below:
Issues
1) SharePoint Object Model
When I open Site (using new SPSite), it's too slow to respond. (under 1s for all operations, but require 10~50s for open SPSIte. e.g.
using(SPSite s = new SPSite(siteStr) //50s
How can I download/upload file without open SPSite object (using SharePoint object model, but user token should be kept to allow SHarePoint identifiy user actions. e.g. Updated by Tom, NOT system administrator)?
2) SharePoint default web service
For file download, I tried to use SharePoint Web Service for download file, it's quick but how can SharePoint record the audit log to downloaded user, and not service A/C? ( e.g. View by Tom, NOT system administrator)
With Windows SSO solution, please note system should NOT prompt to ask user password for use impersonation
3) HTTP Request API (for file download)
As mentioned in point 2, if the system cannot get password from user, SharePoint also recorded service A/C in audit log... ><

Are you using SharePoint Audit log? Exactly If so then why don't you just put the hyperlink to the documents in your asp.net page. User maybe have to login once in SharePoint site but

Based on your description, I have done a test and I can’t reproduce your issue.
I have used SharePoint Designer 2013 to open a SharePoint Online site and there are no issues.
I’d like to clarify whether you encounter any issues when accessing SharePoint Online sites. If there are no issues during the accessing procedure, SharePoint Online service should be working fine at your side. The issue may be caused by specific SharePoint
Designer client or network. I suggest you refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
1. Use SharePoint Designer to open another site and check whether it is successful.
2. When you are prompted to enter Office 365 account and password, try other users’ accounts and select the remembering the credential.
3. Perform the connection procedure under another environment and verify whether the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, can you provide related screenshots for further troubleshooting?

If i understood you correctly, you have SP list and there are some records. Now you want to open your infopath form when clicks on add new item in the same list. I am still confuse about "from table 'Account'" this line. Are you saying that you are fetching
records from SQL table to PS list?
Anyway, you can modify the existing list form infopath so you could be able to open the infopath form instead of default newform.aspx page. Later you can create a new data connection in that customize form to display data in table format from same list.

In Aperture 3.4.1, I am not able to connect with referenced files on a network

I am running OS X 10.8.2 and Aperture 3.4.1, and am unable to connect with referenced files on a network. Specifically, the referenced files reside on my iMac and I am attempting to connect to them from my MBP. They appear in red in the dialogue box. While I know this has been a long standing issue in other versions, I was hoping it had been solved by now. Any assistance will be appreciated.

We have a requirement in our organization, to link visio data with SharePoint List. There is an existing visio containing more than 300 boxes(each containing 10 properties) which has to be linked with corresponding SharePoint List. As per our understanding
this is possible using Visio 2010 premium. Our IT security has only Visio 2010
professional listed as an authorized software and
NOT Visio 2010premium. Could you please let me know if the functionality we are looking for can also be achieved with Visio 2010
professional.

Note - Adding Visio 2010 premium in the IT security list is not possible right now.

datalinking is possible with v2007, v2010, and v2013 professional versions and above. v2010 Premium (only one time thankfully) was a MS attempt to place BPM into a separate diagramming product.
