Sharepoint Search Center search works OK but Search box at the top of the page does not work
Hello!
The problem is as follows:
If I go to Search Center and search there I get my results. On the left side "Any Site" is selected. If I select the only site I've got there (if I click as indicated below) - no results are shown (which is strange, I've got only one site).
And if I use search box in my main page (as shown below) - I get no results as well.
Why this can happen?

According to your description, my understanding is that there was no result when clicking the site in the Refinement Panel and no results showing when using Search Box in the main page.
I recommend to verify the things below to narrow the issue scope:
Did this issue occur in other pages when using the search box?
Did this issue occur when using the search box web part?
I recommend to test the same scenario in another site and use the search box web part to see if the issue still occurs.

I have windows and have been using safari. It automatically goes to the search box when opening a new tab with google as the homepage. This is the actual search box on the page, not on the menu bar.
Do you really have Google as your home page or the default Firefox home page about:home ?
It should work with the www.google.com page. -
After updating AVG anti-virus, I encountered a problem on Firefox. I would select a link from the drop down on the address bar but the page would not open after clicking on it. I would select it again, even double click, but the page does not open. I could only reach website by selecting google or yahoo from my dropdown on the most visited list and then click the website that I want to visit. I would like to do this in one step by just selecting a link from my history on the address bar and select a link instead of going to google and then writing the page I want to visit. What could be the problem? When going to the address bar to select a link to open, why does the site not open? Any help would be appreciated.

I am in Muse 2014.3. When I edit a page, in the preview everything looks fine, but when I upload it to FTP, the page does not change, even when I upload the whole site. Is this a bug? I don't know what to do.

Are you sure about your FTP credentials (FTP folder and site URL) that you are using for the upload? Are you able to see the updated files in the remote directory of the FTP server, after you finish uploading the muse file, using an external FTP client like FileZilla?

The Report Server page comes up on local server, but the page does not open from clients

The Report Server Page opens up just fine on the local server, but page does not open up from desktops and client PCs. SSRS is installed on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server and with SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2
Clients are using IE 11 and they see:
Oops! Internet Explorer could not connect to tumdv-fsql01
How can make this site accessible from clients?

When I add the IP Address and try the link again, IE says "This page can not be displayed". When I try the Fix connection problems, IE says:
"The website is online, but it is not responding to connection attempts."

I click on the Firefox icon on the bottom of my toolbar screen. I go to the URL dropdown menu for my usual sites; I select one but the page will not load and the URL field is blank. It is a hassle to press the up and down arrows to select the site. Please help!

In the search feature of the phone, does not work correctly
In the search feature of the phone, when typing a first name or last name, why does the search start with the letter A? For example, I type ME and the first name that pops up is Cecil. Cecil is in my contact list but not what I am searching for.
I believe when using the search feature, it searches more fields than just the first and last name. See if Cecil has something in his contact card that contains MA, such as an address, company name, etc. Otherwise, I generally do not find any problems using search.

iPad 1 connects to iTunes and displays in the left column. All elements on iPad displayed. However, it will not sync. Displays message that the iPad is not connected. This is a new issue. Used to work fine. All iTines and iPad software up to date. Ran HELP diagnotsic in iTunes with iPad connected - no issues noted. Attempted soft reboot of iPad. No help.
Issue hopefully resolved. Required Apple store to delete all info from iPad and reinstall operating system. Had to reload all data, but it seems to be working fine. Cause unknown.

I created a book at the Ibooks author. But there are some pages which the number of page is not visible. What can I do to see the number of the page?
Have you changed the template?
Some pages may not have numbers in place as default. If you have changed the page or the template page, you may have added a object which as pushed the number out of view, or an image may be in a layer on top of the text.
If you select one object on the page...then go to Edit, select all, you should see the outlines of any content no matter that content may not be seen. Look at the bottom for a page width rectangle outline.. IF its there, you need to shuffle the content until you find that box, and use Arrange > bring to front. -
The page prints out fine on Internet Explorer, but not on Firefox. 2 pages are supposed to print out but only 1 prints. Also it does not fit to width even though that's the setting.
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. With previous iOS, the "Search conversations" function did work for Messages (in the Messages list, tap the top of the screen to display the search field, then enter the text you’re looking for). With iOS7, this is not working for messages that are more than 2 days old (at least with iPhone 4S)

Happens when going to print.coupons.com. I click the "learn more" button on the message that the plugin has crashed, and I get sent to the Adobe Flash plugin crash info page on Firefox. They say just to reload the page. There is a button for this. I click it and the page tries to reload for 5 minutes before freezing.

I am participating in an online class whose website uses Microsoft Content Viewer to view the class content. The browser opens a new page, but nothing is there. At the top of the tab it says Microsoft Content Viewer, and nothing else. Can anyone tell me how to view my course using Firefox? I would prefer not to use IE, but it works there.
When originally creating the pdf, you would need to choose another pdf conversion setting. In Word if you use the pdf menu, change your settings there: Adobe PDF > Change Conversion Settings. I would use High Quality Print instead. If you use the File > Print method, click the Properties button next to the Adobe PDF printer selection.
For your already created form, you can change the file so your users will not encounter issues. In Acrobat 9, which hopefully is similar in process to 8: Advanced > Preflight > Profile tab > PDF/A compliance > Remove PDF/A information.(You'll have to unsecure your form first).

I received a call that said I had rewards, but I cannot find the page/do not know my username.
They called this morning saying to go to a certain page like "www.verzion.com/5--??" or something of the sort. The HTML involved a number with 5, but I do not recall the other number, because it was early in the morning. I got to this page, "verizon.com/rewards", but failed to be able to enter the right information. So I may be using the wrong username or password. I was using my phone number as my username, so I may have to enter something else in. All that I know is that I was able to sign onto verizonwireless.com without a problem. Anyone have any idea as to what to do?
Sounds like the scam that's been going around the past year or so and reported here in the forum and on the news. I would encourage you to change your VZW password if you did, indeed, input private information on that bogus site.
