Sharepoint Update KB2837616 failed - now can not access companyweb

On Server Small Business server 2008 - cannot access //companyweb
when trying to open //companyweb get "Cannot connect to configuration Database"
After hours of looking found that when security update for SharePoint KB2837616 failed by looking at the upgrade log - but it shows as successfully installed on windows update

I have already attempted multiple times to run the command ->
psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait -force
fails with the following error from pscdiagnostics log file

Please open SQL Server Management Studio with
Run as administrator, and then check if the Database Read-Only option of SharePoint database (ShareWebDb) set as False.
When run commands
psconfig -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -wait –force, please check if select run as administrator. Meanwhile, please refer to the following article and check if can help you.

I updated iPhoto and now can not burn a cd on iPhoto. I am getting error message: The burn to the SuperDrive drive failed. The disc drive didn't respond properly and can't recover or retry.

I updated iphoto 9.4.3 and now it will not allow me to burn pictures on disc. I am recieving the follwing message:

What you're describing is the Finder window for your external hard drive. When you're in iPhoto and try to edit a photo what happens?
Are you saying that the photos for your iPhoto library are located on the external HD while your library is in the Pictures folder on the boot drive? That would indicate a referenced library. You can check to see if you're running a referenced library by checking the Advanced Preference pane in iPhoto:

By default it should be located in your Users/Home/Pictures folder. However, it could be run on an external HD.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you did a good job editing your Apple ID and primary email address, but you didn’t sign out of iCloud on your iOS device before hand. What you may need to do in this situation is go back to the Apple ID website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the email address that is signed in with iCloud (there is no need to verify the account after editing it back to the old account, just changing it back is enough). Once your Apple ID is back to the original account, delete the iCloud account from the iOS device and be sure to keep all info on the device when prompted. After you delete the iCloud account, go back to the website and edit your Apple ID and primary email address back to the new address. Once it is back to the account you would like, you can sign into the iCloud on the iOS device with that new account and merge all of the data when prompted. Please use the following article as a reference.

You can import your camera roll to your computer using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
If you're upgrading your phone, I would recommend that you backup your old phone to your computer using iTunes. Restoring an iTunes backup to your new phone will be much faster than restoring an iCloud backup, and possibly more reliable too.
To back it up to iTunes, connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, then go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now. The go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.
When setting up your new phone, when given the option, choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore this backup to your new phone. It will include your camera roll and other data; restoring the backup will will also sync your apps and other iTunes media from your iTunes library to your new phone.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
