SharePoint: Workflows - Accessing A Pre-existing Site From Visual Studio
Is there away to create and publish a custom workflow from Visual Studio to an existing SharePoint site which was created using SharePoint Designer? If so, how do I access a pre-existing site from Visual Studio?
If I've understand you correctly, you have developed a SharePoint Designer (SPD) workflow and now you want to export it in Visual Studio? If so, please take a look at the link:

According to your post, my understanding is that you had Errors TF30162 and TF250025 when creating a New Team Project in TFS2012 with Sharepoint Site on Visual Studio.
The Errors TF30162 seemed that the reports for TFS could not be uploaded due a permission problem. The fix was really easy.
Go to your team foundation server
Open the administration console.
Click on Reporting
Click on Edit
Click on Reports Tab
Enter the credential for the Reports
Save
Click on Start Jobs
In addtion, the problem may be due to the caching done by Team Explorer in Visual Studio. Exiting the copy of VS on the client and reloading it will fix the problem as the updated team process settings will cached locally.
To resolve the Errors TF250025, you will need to register a new internal URL for the SharePoint site using Alternate Access Mappings.

HI,
I get this error "Error occurred in deployment step 'Retract Solution': The solution does not have a WSP file associated with it. " when deploying my project from visual studio 2010 to
SharePoint 2010 site. I tried restarting IIS, but it didn't help. This application used to work fine until the server crashed during the deployment process. All the other applications on the same server works fine also. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

Thank you for your posting!
According to your error message, it says your solution does not have a WSP file associated with it. Take a look at the file system. After you Right Click -> Deploy Solution on the VS Solution, there
should be a .wsp file at <Solution Directory>\bin\<debug|release>.
Also the error can be occurring when the developer try to deploy solutions over pre-existing solutions with material changed in the solution. Go to your Central Administration Site and then
Operations and then Solution Management. Make sure that there not already a solution with the same name deployed or installed there. If there is, remove it and try deploying again.
And you could look in logs and find if there is a below error in ULS log (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS).

Unable to connect Oracle 10g Express from Visual Studio Server Explorer
Hello,
Please help me out here. I am connecting from Visual Studio 2008 to Oracle 10g Express Edition and the I have installed the ODAC 11 and the ODP.NET as well for Visual Studio(Both include Oracle Developer tools). But whenever I tried to connect from my Visual Studio 2008 server explorer so that I can have the database and its object there, I do get this error : "ORA-12560 : TNS: protocol adapter error."
The following is what I specified in my connection box:
DataSource Name: (Local Database)
Username : HR
Password: the password for it.
My OS is : Windows Vista Ultimate.
Please anyone who has solved such error should just help out here.

Calling CVI DLL Function from Visual Studio

Iv'e created a DLL using CVI and i'm tring to call one of it's function from visual studio 6.0

Software EngineerYou will need to distribute the CVI RTE along with your DLL, since anything you write in CVI is going to use the RTE.
As far as calling the DLL functions, you can use the CVI defined macros
<return type> DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL <function name> (<param1 type> <param1> ...) {
to declare your functions in the DLL for access by a VS application.
for example
int DLLEXPORT DLLSTDCALL myfunction (int funparam1, double func param2) {
There are options for identifying which functions to export from your DLL, I use "functions marked for export" but there are other choices available. I also include a type library so when you type the name of a DLL funciton in VS6 you see a balloon popup with the function signature. This is a check box in the target settings. You have to create a ".fp" file (function panel file) to collect the function info for the library.
From VB6 you can access the DLL a couple of ways, but I usually add the DLL as a reference. -
Not able to deploy windows kernel driver on target machine from visual studio
I have created windows kernel driver, and signed it with production certificate. Now I could install this driver on my target machine manually(copying inf, cat and sys).
I want to make use of the visual studio 2013's deployment facility to deploy the driver automatically. But when I try to add the target computer(with administrative account) it failed with error message "The account credentials used to connect to the
target computer could not gain administrator access to the target computer. Try using the built-in Administrator account".

Pavel I found it is necessary to install "WDK Test Target Setup x64-x64_en-us.msi" on the target machine which I had not run. Once installing that I passed through the previously mentioned steps and after performing few installations target machine
got rebooted. And then the deployment process hanged on step a "Attempting to connect...". Tried this for multiple times but result in to the same problem. -

I am using the Windows Mobile 6.0 emulator from Visual Studio to run the application.

Finally I fixed this issue.
I ran the SybaseServerSync.v35.CAB on the device emulator. Then tried the program. It worked. This helps establish the synchronization between the device and the SUP server. This CAB file can be located at the path <UnwiredServerInstallationLocation>\UnwiredPlatform\ClientAPI\RBS\WM\ServerSync.

Biztalk individual projects deployment from Visual studio

I have 4 BizTalk orchestration projects in a solution and when I deploy one project from visual studio solution explorer it is clearing the other projects orchestrations in the administration console. I don’t want to deploy the entire solution every
time as I want to unit test only a specific orchestration project or couple or projects. I am using Visual studio 2013 with BizTalk 2013 R2. I did not face this issue with Vs2010 and BTS 2010.
Do we have any workaround for this please?

Error importing result file from Visual Studio Online load test - Incorrect Syntax near ')'

According to your post, my understanding is that Sharepoint Workflow get the Access Token Error.
I reoconmend that you can properly configure the HTTPS endpoint and then re-register the workflow farm with SharePoint.
The snippet below assumes that you have exported the SSL certificate from the workflow manager IIS web site to c:\wfm.cer.
